Chapter 14: New Life For The Sirens

Previous Chapter

Ruby and werewolf Jade approached the warehouses as Twilight's car sped off. Eyeing each other, they ran in and found everyone else talking among each other. Looking over, Spitfire saw them and turned to face them.

"Ruby. Jade," she said, walking towards them. "I thought I told you to watch Sterling."

Ruby smiled and interlocked her fingers behind her head. "You're not the boss of me... Besides... after we stopped the bleeding, Sterling asked us to make sure Twilight was okay. We then decided to help protect any of you normals during the siren attack."

Spitfire scoffed at the normals term, before sighing. "Well, you just missed her. She and Midnight just left here with the sirens."

The red succubus looked back at the entrance and crossed her arms. "At least she's fine enough to drive."

Twilight had her left elbow resting on her door, her head resting on her fist as she drove with her right hand. The car was filled with an awkward silence as Midnight looked in the rear view mirror, the three sirens huddled together. They didn't seem afraid, just glad to still have each other.

"So..." Twilight said, breaking the silence. "You three are the last of your kind?"

Adagio's ears perked at that before she and the other two eyed each other. "Yes..." she said. "We were hunted to near extinction in the past... only we three are left..."

Twilight nodded before eyeing them in the rear view mirror. "Do you... feed off adoration and negativity like a changeling feeds off love?"

Adagio nodded before Twilight returned her gaze to the road. "Why do you think we do it?"

"Maybe you like it," Twi said plainly, getting a look from Midnight.

"We did it so often, it eventually became us," Aria explained. "After all, it's what all the others did. It was just what we did." A light grin then spread across her face. "And I did enjoy having myself worshiped by others." She got an elbow bump from Adagio, making her grin fade.

Twilight let out a sigh, and rubbed her forehead with her left hand. "Mmm... I have an idea for that..."

Aria perked up a little as the sirens looked at other.

"What is it?" Asked the busty blue siren.

"I'll get back to you with that," Twi said as she parked the car. "First things first," she said, turning to look back at them. "Where are we?"

Sonata tilted her head and looked out the right window, seeing the abandoned lab they've been staying at. "We're back here?"

Twilight nodded as the other two sirens looked out the window, too. "This place is your home. Once we repair the damages you made to the city, I'll have a team fix this place up for you."

Adagio let out a silent gasp and looked at her. "Wh... Why? After what we--"

She was cut off as Twilight raised her hand to silence her. "Don't ask... I may have second thoughts..." She then pulled out her cell phone and dialed a number before putting it to her ear. "Now, for the second thing," she said, sitting back in her seat. "Hey, Candy," she said with a light smile. "It's Twilight... I have a favor to ask. Could I meet you at the club?" Nodding, she held the phone to her ear with her shoulder, putting the car in drive. "Thanks. See you soon."

As she hung up, Midnight smiled at knowing what Twilight had in mind. The sirens, however, had no idea.

Twilight pulled up to The Wet Mare, parking behind Candy's car. "Wait here, you there," Twi said to the sirens, before looking at Midnight. "Wait here with them. I'll be out shortly."

Getting a nod from the black mare, Twilight gave her a light smile before getting out of her car and closing the door. As she approached the door, it opened.

"I thought I heard a car," Candy said with a smile as she stepped out of the building. She was wearing a white t-shirt and shorts and sandals. "What's up?"

"Hey, Candy," the unicorn said as she stepped up to the pink mare. "So... you know those things that attacked the city just now?"

Candy's smile faded as she nodded. "Yeah, that was awful. I'm assuming it's all over?"

"It's over," Twilight confirmed with a nod. "And, the ones behind it are sitting in my back seat."

The pink mare's eyes went wide as she looked over at the car. "What?!"

"Don't worry," the purple mare said, holding up a hand. "They're done with the baddie thing." Lowering her hand, she let out a sigh. "They're sirens and feed off negativity and adoration," she explained. "And, I figured if they got a huge enough dose of adoration, they'd be set..."

Candy thought for a moment before letting out a chuckle. "And, you want them to work here for me?" She asked. "So, they can feed off adoration, and... not die from hunger?"

Twilight nodded lightly before looking back at the car. "Wanna check 'em out?"

The pink mare put her hand on her hip and hesitated before giving the mare a nod. "Bring 'em in," she said, turning and heading back inside.

Smiling lightly, the unicorn headed back to the car, opening the back door. "Come on in. And, hurry so no one sees you." She then made her way over to the club and opened the door.

When she did, Sonata eyed the other two before climbing out of the car and quickly walking into the building. After her was Adagio, and then Aria. When the last siren left the car, Midnight got out and went to join them. When the car was empty, Twilight locked it with her mind before joining them inside. Making their way down the hall, they stepped into the main room.

As the three nude sirens entered the large room, Candy got up from one of the tables with an impressed smirk on her face.

"Damn," the pink mare said with a smile, moving away from the tables and heading into the large, empty section where the lewd dancing took place. "Come over here so I can get a better look at you." Eyeing each other, the sirens made their way over to Candy and stood in a line in front of her. Stepping up to Aria, Candy looked her over and smiled. "You're the sleek one, I see," she said, placing her hands on the siren's breasts.

Aria made no attempt to pull away as Candy ran her hands up to her shoulders and then back down to her belly. Afterwards, she moved around back and placed her hands on the siren's back, before sliding them lower to her butt. Aria looked back at the pink mare as she moved her hands down the siren's legs, to her feet.

"You said you wanted to be adored?" Asked Candy as she stood back up.

"Yeah, why?" The purple siren asked.

Moving around to their front again, Candy had a wide smile on her face. "Because you're one for three so far," she said with a wink. Aria crossed her arms over her chest and gave a light smirk as Candy stepped up to the orange siren. "So, you are..." she said, pointing at the purple one.

"Aria," the siren cooed, putting a hand on her hip with a smirk.

"Adagio," the orange siren said as Candy looked at her.

"Aria, Adagio, and..." Candy said as she looked over at the blue one.

"Sonata," the busty siren replied with a smile.

Candy smiled back before looking at Adagio again. "Looks like each of you have a trait all to yourselves. Aria is the athletic one, Sonata's the busty one... and you..." she said, gently grabbing the siren's boobs. "You're the well-rounded one. Sort of the... middle road. Hand-filling tits..." she cooed, before moving her hands to the siren's ass. "And a great ass. You three will have no problem being worshiped here."

Adagio gave her a smile. "I have to say, this all sounds... too good..."

"Too good?" Asked the pink mare, patting the siren's right breast. "Because there's a socially acceptable way to get love and adoration from others without forcing them?"

Adagio crossed her arms with a light frown. "If only we'd known back then..."

Candy let out a chuckle. "I don't think we existed back then," she said, stepping up to Sonata.

"I think there may have been... brothels..." Aria pointed up, eyes up at the ceiling in thought. "But, they seemed... boring..."

Candy eyed her before gently rubbing Sonata's large D-cups. "Maybe if you tried it, you would've liked it..."

"Well, we were sort of... raised to be like that," Adagio pointed out. "It was a siren thing."

"I see..." Candy cooed, feeling up Sonata's breasts, before giving her ass a nice slap. "Well, I'd say you three would do well here..." She then walked up to Adagio. "Then, maybe we could have some fun together," she cooed as she leaned in.

Adagio gave her a smirk. "Sounds like fun..."

Twilight watched them for a couple more seconds before turning and walking away. When Midnight noticed, she quickly caught up with the unicorn.

"We're just leaving them here?" She asked.

Twilight let out a sigh. "They can handle themselves..."

Adagio's ears twitched a little before looking back to see Twilight and Midnight leave. Smile fading, she began to feel regret again at what they did and grateful to the mare for sparing their life. She was soon ripped from her thoughts when Candy spoke again.

"I have clothes for you to wear when you're not performing," the pink mare said as she began to make her way to the side hallway. "Follow me to my office."

Adagio patted the other two sirens on the shoulder before following, Aria and Sonata close behind.

Twilight drove back towards the hotel as Midnight kept her eyes on her. Eventually, the unicorn noticed.

"What?" Asked Twilight, eyeing the black mare.

"I'm still... trying to figure you out," Midnight said plainly.

"Figure me out?"

"You seem like you, but... you're not you..."

Letting out a sigh, Twilight let out a sigh and pulled over to the side of the road and put the car in park. "Listen," she said, turning to face the mare. "I'm still me. I just have a different way of thinking."

"But, you're angrier than you used to be," Midnight explained as she leaned in and put her hand on the unicorn's shoulder. "You were so nice before... and gentle... Now, you're... out for blood..."

Twilight's eyes narrowed as she looked away, as if trying to think about what to say. "This... This city has no room for pussies... I have to be strong... and focused on protecting the city from others like Surprise."

"Then, find a place in between," Midnight said, almost sounding as if she were pleading. "You can be strong and protect the city while also being calm and level-headed. We're all behind you, Twilight. You don't have to do this by yourself..."

The unicorn eyed her for a brief moment before turning back to the road again. Without saying a word, she put the car in drive and drove back onto the road. "If it's any consolation... I'll... try..."

Midnight gave her a smile and leaned back in her seat. "That's all I ask..."

Flora stood at the edge of a dock, holding a picture of Tech and her eyes red from crying. "I'll be seeing you soon, lil' bro..."

Sniffling, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a gun. Taking one last look at the picture, she put it in her pocket and cocked the gun. Putting the barrel to her head, she let out more whimpers as tears began falling from her eyes.

"I'm coming, brother," she said quickly, before pulling the trigger.

Letting out a gasp, she tried to pull the trigger again, only it wouldn't budge. Pulling the gun away from her head to look it over, she saw a light blue glow over the trigger.

"What the hell?" She asked, trying to pull it again.

"I don't think that's what you really want..." came a voice from behind her.

"Huh?" Asked the green mare, turning around to see a lavender mare wearing shorts and a light blue shirt with open vest. "Wh-Who are you?"

"Name's Starlight," the mare cooed, before ripping the gun out of the mare's hand with her magic and catching it in her own. Looking it over, she shook her head. "There's a much better way to solve your problem," she cooed, before slowly looking up at Flora as she stepped up to her. "Avenge your brother."

The green mare sniffled and wiped her eyes. "A-Avenge him?" She asked. "Wh-What do you mean? How?"

Starlight smirked and began to circle the mare "By killing Twilight, of course. She is, after all, responsible. If she had been faster, actually thought things through before rushing in... your brother could've been saved..."

Flora let out a shuddered gasp, looking down at the floor. "Twilight's fault?"

"You can't tell me you haven't blamed her for it."

Flora's eyes narrowed as her hands clenched into a fist. "I've blamed her for it since it happened..." she said through clenched teeth. Looking up at Starlight as she circled back around front to face her. "But, I'm not strong enough to face her."

A devious grin spread across Starlight's face. "Not... as you are..." she cooed. "But... I have a way to make you stronger than her. It'll just take some time to get what I need. If you hold off killing yourself, I'll give you your chance at revenge." Holding out the gun, Flora slowly took it and holstered it.

"If you can really make me strong enough to kill her..." Flora said, anger in her eyes and hope in her heart. "I'll kill her..."

Starlight gave her a pat on the shoulder before walking away. "Glad to hear it," she said, grinning evilly.
