Just keep in mind that I haven’t really read the comics so I’m going off incomplete knowledge of the source material so let me know if I scre up anything really obvious please

Arrival

Tony was enjoying himself; he’d just saved the world from alien take over so that was awesome, he had a hot date with Pepper coming up so that was more awesome, and to top it off he was now a member of a superhero team capable of fighting off almost anything. Yes indeed it was a good day to be Tony Stark, then again so was almost any day but today just felt good. Suddenly Tony saw something new and interesting pop up in front of him; it was a portal of some kind. The portal gave off a pink glowing energy that smelled slightly like fudge.

“Jarvis can you tell me anything about this thing?” Tony asked his AI assistant.

“Yes sir, it appears to be a portal of pink energy that smells slightly of fudge.” Jarvis replied simply, Tony rolled his eyes inside his helmet.

“Yes Jarvis I can see that, I mean do you have any idea what it does?”

“No sir, although I gather that whatever is on the other side shouldn’t be to threatening considering the smell.” The AI replied “Would you like to me to tell Miss Pepper that there has been a change of plans sir?” Jarvis asked him, Tony thought about it for a few seconds before he replied.

“Yeah, tell her I’ll try to be back tonight but if I’m not then she shouldn’t wait up.” Tony said. He flew through the portal and was immediately hit by a sense of dizziness. He closed his eyes in an attempt to make his head stop spinning and when he opened them he found himself to be floating a few inches off the ground in front of a small village. “Jarvis can you hear

me?” Tony asked.

“Yes sir I’m still reading you but you appear to have disappeared off of my GPS and all other forms of tracking you.”

“That’s odd…hold on Jarvis I think one of the inhabitants of the village is coming to talk to me.” Tony told Jarvis as he was approached by what he could only describe as a pink pony who came up to his waist.

“Hia what’s your name, are you new in town, I mean you must be new in town because I don’t know you and I know everyone in Ponyville, I’m Pinkie Pie by the way so what are you are you like some kind of metal robot from the future sent back in time to stop an evil robot from killing me because that would be neat and I could help by shooting it with the party cannon…” Tony wasn’t sure whether he should be amazed by the fact that the pony was talking, or the fact that it was describing the events of the terminator series. “…so what’s your name?” The pony asked him bringing the conversation full circle.

“I’m Tony Stark, but you can call me Tony.” Tony responded happy to get a word in edgewise “And I’m not a robot from the future, I’m from earth.” Pinkie’s eyes got big.

“Earth, I’ve never heard of that country before, I wonder if Twilight has it on a map, I’ll bet she does, Twilight knows almost everything and anything she doesn’t know she just reads from books, I bet she’d be really interested in meeting you, do you want to come and meet her?” The pink pony asked him. Seeing nothing better to do Tony nodded, and followed after the pink pony who had started to talk about something called a parasprite and how it had almost destroyed the town. Tony was more interested with looking at all the random ponies walking around and the weird architecture of the town.

All around him walked ponies, some who looked like Pinkie but others who were more bio diverse, several had horns sticking out of their heads, while others flew overhead with wings. Tony could also swear that he saw a building made out of gingerbread, and it became slightly obvious that they were headed for a large tree that had apparently been turned into a house. To Toni’s surprise the ponies around him gave him a once over before turning back to their work and ignoring him. He supposed that if he was with Pinkie then they assumed that he wasn’t a threat, which was a little naïve in Toni’s opinion.

“Jarvis tell Pepper that I won’t be back tonight please.” Tony told his AI.

“Of course sir, I suggest finding a smart pony to talk to, the gate that you came in with seems to have closed.” Tony nodded he’d noticed.

“And then Cadence and Shining Armor rode off in their chariot oh look we’re here, I can’t wait for you to meet Twilight she’ll probably be super duper excited to meet you!” Pinkie said as they arrived right outside the library. She started to knock on the door repeatedly as it was opened by a purple pony with a horn on her head hitting the pony several times in the face.

“Pinkie!” The purple pony yelled the pink pony stopped knocking.

“I’m sorry Twilight I didn’t see you there I made a new friend he isn’t a pony his name is Tony, he says he isn’t a robot from the future sent to kill me but I’m not positive, so what’s up with you Twilight?” Twilight looked at the pink pony with an expression that Tony knew well, it was the expression of someone trying to suppress the urge to throw someone into a wall.

“So you aren’t a robot from the future sent to kill Pinkie?” Twilight asked Tony deadpanly, Tony snapped the faceplate on his helmet open.

“Nope, although I am very wondering about where I am and why there are talking ponies everywhere I look.” Tony told her.

“Funny I was just wondering about why there was a biped encased in metal standing on my doorstep, I think we have a lot in common. Maybe you should come inside.” Twilight suggested, Tony decided that he liked this pony. She struck him as the sarcastic and brilliant type which was something Tony could relate to easily. He ducked his head so that he could enter the library and followed Twilight inside; Pinkie was somehow already waiting inside bouncing up and down.

“Should I be concerned with the fact that she was outside behind us?” Tony asked Twilight.

“Don’t bother, I’ve tried, she defies the laws of physics everyday all the time.” Twilight replied with a shrug.

“Do you have martinis here, because I really need a drink?” Tony asked her, he received a sympathetic smile from Twilight.

“No such luck I’m afraid, I can’t keep alcohol here, it leads to problems. I do however have coffee if you want some.” Tony thought he knew what kind of problems Twilight was talking about, but gladly accepted her offer for coffee. “Spike can you get the coffee pot started?” Twilight called.

“Sure thing Twilight!” A younger male voice called back, it probably belonged to her boyfriend.

“So Tony could you tell me about yourself, and more specifically about that suite that you’re wearing it looks like it’s made through some very powerful magic?” Twilight asked him.

“Sure, like you know my name is Tony Stark, I’m a genius inventor and scientist who decided to fight crime with the help of this suite.” Then Tony processed the last part of what she’d said “And it isn’t magic, it’s very advanced technology.” Twilight nodded.

“Interesting we don’t have any technology like that here in Equestria but we do have a lot of magic. So what are you going to do now that you’re here Tony?” Twilight asked him, Tony scratched his chin uncertainly.

“I’m not sure, I guess I should probably look for a way back before Pepper gets too worried, but this place looks interesting enough to merit spending some time in. Hold on a minute I need to talk to Jarvis.” Tony said before putting his face plate back down. “Jarvis, can you figure out anything from your end?” Tony asked the AI.

“No sir, I suggest you look around more and see if you can find anything out.” Twilight was giving him an odd look so he opened his faceplate again.

“Sorry I was just talking to my AI Jarvis.”

“I knew he as a robot from the future Twilight he said he has an AI he must be a future where robots took over pony control and now they use ponies as a power supply and keep all the ponies in a computer simulation!” Pinkie yelled jumping at Tony and attempting to throw him to the ground, Twilight did something that shockingly familiar to a facepalm.

“Pinkie I really doubt that, also if he was a robot from the future sent back in time to kill you, or whatever it is that you just talked about I’m sure you would probably be dead already!” Twilight said in exasperation.

“Not necessarily Twilight, I could be a robot who came back in time to protect her from another evil robot who can turn itself into almost anything.” Tony said drawing an angry look from Twilight. Before either pony could respond a small dragon walked into the room carrying a coffee pot and three cups, when he saw Tony sitting there in his suite his reaction was immediate.

“By Celestia I knew I wasn’t crazy, I knew they were coming, the Moon People are here and they want to harvest our brains and steal our mares so that they can implant their children. Twilight watch out for its mouth it might hold another mouth with another mouth inside it!” Spike shouted throwing the coffee in the air; Twilight sighed and gave Tony a deadpan look before she caught the coffee in a purple magical field. Pinkie had joined in yelling about the Moon People and both she and Spike ran around the room yelling. All the yelling obviously drew the attention of another pony because a sky blue winged pony with a rainbow mane flew through the door.

“Twilight is everything alright?” She asked before she saw Tony. “By Celestia it’s one of the evil statues from Daring Doo’s books, get down Twilight I’ll protect you!” He yelled as he flew towards Tony, Tony sighed and put his faceplate back up. The rainbow maned pony flew into Tony with a surprising amount of strength, unsurprisingly she was sent rebounding off of Tony and into a nearby table.

“Is it always this quite here?” Tony asked Twilight.

“Only on Saturdays.” Twilight replied before yelling “SPIKE DASH THIS IS TONY, HE IS NOT FROM THE MOON, AND HE IS
ALSO NOT AN EVIL STATUE! STOP YELLING!” Spike and Dash looked up in surprise; Twilight didn’t raise her voice like that very often.

“Sorry Twilight.” Spike said hanging his head.

“Yeah I’m sorry Twilight.” Dash said after a few seconds.

“Don’t apologize to me apologize to Tony.” Twilight said.

“Alright I’m sorry I mistakenly kicked you because I thought you were an evil statue.” Dash said sounding truly apologetic.

“It’s alright little guy, it could happen to anybody.” Tony said.

“Umm sir that is a female.” Jarvis said in his ear a second before Dash got in his face.

“Did you just call me a guy?” Dash inquired her voice getting low and threatening, Tony gulped slightly. This reminded him a little too much of that one night in Cancun that he was never talking about again.

“I’m sorry, I just assumed… because of your voice and everything.” Tony said the pony seemed to be getting angrier.

“Dash stop, he’s not the first one to have made that mistake.” Twilight said pulling her friend away with purple magic.

“I know it’s just annoying.” The cyan pony said in a huff “Sorry Tony, look Twilight I’ve got to go I’m needed on Storm duty. Apparently something’s messing with the clouds.” The pegasus flew out the door in a blur of speed.

“Sorry about that Dash is sensitive underneath all the tough.” Twilight told Tony who could only nod and sip at the coffee that Spike had passed him. Suddenly a small pony burst through the door.

“Twilight we just got a visitor from a glowin portal, he’s got a big A on his head.” The young pony told Twilight before noticing Tony and screaming. “Twilight run, that’s a evil robot here to fin the power cube an create a army of robots!” Twilight looked like she wanted to start slamming her head into the coffee table next to her but she resisted the urge.

“Apple Bloom this is Tony he isn’t here to steal the power cube, whatever that is, now what was it you were talking about?” At Twilight’s words the filly stopped yelling.

“Some weird creature walked out of a pink portaly thing, it had a large A on its forehead and said its name was Steve.” Twilight looked at Tony.

“That would be Captain America, he’s a friend of mine, let’s go get him.”

Steve Rogers had been having a weird day, he’d just finished tying up an unconscious bank robber who had been stupid enough to try and fight him when a glowing pink portal had appeared in front of him. He hadn’t been sure what it meant but he assumed it was his duty to check it out. He’d walked through to find himself in the middle of an apple orchard; the portal had closed behind him with a quite pop the moment he took a step forward. The next thing he knew he was trying to understand how he was talking to a orange furred pony with an apple tattoo on its flank and her little sister.

“So let me get this straight, you’re all magical talking ponies who live under an egalitarian monarchy ruled over by two flying immortal magic using pony princesses.” Steve said, his head was still spinning after the info dump that he’d just received.

“Yep, that’s about the long and the short of it.” The pony calling herself Applejack replied as she passed Steve an apple. “Hey Apple Bloom why don’t yall go get Twilight, I’m sure she’ll want ta meet Steve.” As the filly ran to get the purple unicorn AJ turned back to Steve.

“So yall are some kinda super hero right?” AJ asked Steve.

“Yeah, I’m called Captain America and I represent freedom, justice, and equality for all.” Steve told her confidently, AJ raised her eyebrow at him.

“Yall sound kinda crazy but I guess that’s the only reason yall are wearin that ridiculous getup.” Steve looked down at his outfit in chagrin.

“What’s wrong with it?” he asked her.

“Well I’m no real judge of things like fashion, but it’s too flashy for ma tastes.” Steve shrugged, he liked his red white and blue costume, but everyone was entitled to their own opinion.

“So you’re an apple farmer?”Steve asked looking around him.

“Yep me and ma whole family, this here is Sweet Apple Acres home of the best apple products in all of Equestria.” The orange pony replied with a confidant smile, Steve took a bite of the apple that she’d rolled to him and smiled as the fruit juice washed over his mouth.

“If all the other apples are like this then I can see why.” Steve complimented AJ.

“Why thank you, yall’re real polite.” AJ replied.

“I’m just the way that my mom taught me to be Miss.” Steve replied lightly. “So who’s this Twilight that you sent your sister to get?” Steve asked AJ.

“She’s a good friend and Celestia’s star student; she’ll know just what to do with you.” AJ replied they lapsed into easy silence neither one gathering their thoughts. Steve’s head flicked up when he heard a now familiar sound of mini jets, descending from the sky above them was Tony Stark in his Iron Man suite. In his arms were Apple Bloom and a Purple unicorn, standing on his head was a pink pony.

“Hey Steve I brought you some presents, I hope you like talking ponies.” Tony said as he set down on the grass in front of Steve.

“Thanks Tony, but it’s a while till Christmas.” Steve replied standing up to shake Toni’s hand. “So how long have you been here?” Steve asked Tony who shrugged.

“Oh around an hour or so, this place is very interesting, for example I can still talk to Jarvis despite the fact that we’re currently in another dimension.” Tony replied nonchalantly. “What about you?”

“Around twenty minutes I think, have you figured out how we get back to earth?” Steve asked him.

“No, but that’s not much of a problem right now. I can still communicate with people through Jarvis and I think that Pepper will be fine without me so there’s no reason to cut this party short.” At the mention of the word party the pink pony jumped off of her perch on Toni’s head.

“That reminds me I need to plan a welcome party for you two plus the two when they get here!” She went running off back in the direction of town leaving Steve confused.

“Umm…what just happened?” Steve asked Tony who shrugged.

“I haven’t the faintest, although she mentioned two others, I’ll give you two guesses to who they will be.” Tony said right before they heard a loud bellow from far away, Twilight and AJ exchanged shocked glances.

“Sounds like Hulk.” Steve said grabbing his shield from where he’d set it down.

“You don’t say?” Tony said snapping his faceplate back down; suddenly a louder female scream filled the air.

“That sounded like Fluttershy!” Twilight said urgently.

“Hop aboard then except for you kid, Banner would never forgive us if we brought a kid near him while he was Hulk.” Tony said peeling Apple Bloom off of his arm and setting her on the ground. “You ok on foot Cap?” Tony asked Steve who nodded.

“I’ll keep up.”

Fluttershy had been minding her own business when suddenly a large green biped ran out of Everfree forest screaming in rage, Fluttershy screamed in fear. Out of nowhere Angel hopped in front of Fluttershy and stood between her and the monster. The monster looked at the white rabbit standing in front of it with evident disdain on its face. With little to no effort the hulking green figure picked up Angel and threw him into the air, Fluttershy jumped forward to catch the tiny rabbit before he hit the ground. Fluttershy turned to confront the monster with anger in her eyes.

“You big green bully, how dare you do that to Angel bunny!” She looked into the monster’s eyes catching it in one of her patented stares. She could feel the monster trying to break out of it but she held it firm in the grasp of her stare. It struggled viciously until finally to her surprise the monster started to shrink rapidly becoming a much smaller white biped, who was wearing a pair of ripped jeans. “Oh my, I think I hurt it.” Fluttershy said in alarm. She rushed over to it and flipped it over so that its face was right side up and checked it’s heartbeat with her air. To her relief its breathing was normal.

Banner opened his eyes to find a yellow winged pony looking at him with concern; he looked around to try and get his bearings and found himself inside a wooden cottage. He scratched the back of his head before searching his memory to see if he could remember how he got here. Although judging by his lack of a shirt it must have been the ‘other guy’ who’d brought him to this house. He remembered walking down the street, and then he’d seen a pink light and stepped through it by accident. That’s right, now he remembered, he’d turned into the ‘others guy’ and torn through a forest only to be confronted by the yellow pony and her bunny.

“Umm… excuse me… can you talk?” the yellow pony asked him quietly, her voice didn’t sound frightened more nervous which was more than most people who knew what Banner was capable of could say.

“Yes, and I’m sorry for any problems the ‘other guy’ caused you.” He told her calmly trying to make sure that he didn’t make any sudden moves.

“Oh it’s alright you didn’t hurt anypony, although I think you bruised Angel’s pride a little.” The yellow pony told him. “I’m Fluttershy; by the other guy do you mean the green monster?” Fluttershy asked him, Banner looked down sadly.

“Yes that’s him, I’m Bruce Banner, he’s Hulk. When he takes over I have little control over what he does, I’m happy he didn’t hurt your bunny.” Banner apologized, Fluttershy waved away his apology.

“Don’t worry, like I said nopony got hurt so it doesn’t really matter does it?” Fluttershy replied sincerely, Banner looked at her with deep respect.

“No, no it doesn’t. Thank you Fluttershy, now would you mind telling me where we are?”

“You’re right outside of Ponyville on the edge of the Everfree forest inside of the nation of Equestria.” Fluttershy replied “Would you like some tea Bruce?” She asked him.

“I’d love some Fluttershy.” he told her with a smile on his face. Suddenly there was frantic knocking coming from Fluttershy’s door.

“Fluttershy open up, you’re in danger in there!” A frantic female yelled voice from outside. Banner sighed and prepared to run. Fluttershy calmly went to the door only to jump back in fright as a large metallic biped stepped through her door with its arm raised.

“Tony could you stop preparing to blast me and scaring Miss Fluttershy please?” Bruce asked calmly, Tony opened his face plate and let out a sigh of relief.

“Sorry Bruce, I was prepared for the worst.”

“Tony if I was the ‘other guy, I hardly think that A. I’d be inside a small cabin like this and B. what would your arm cannon actually do to stop him?” Bruce asked Tony who shrugged.

“Slow you down for a few seconds while I prepared to fly until you changed back to normal.” Tony replied with a slight grin, Bruce sighed. Their conversation was interrupted by an orange and a purple pony charging in and giving Fluttershy a relived hug.

“We heard you scream and thought you were in danger.” The purple pony said.

“I’m fine girls, I just had to use the stare on the ‘other guy’ and he changed back to Bruce.” Tony stared at her.

“You can stare at Hulk and he changes back into Bruce.” He said in astonishment looking at the little pegasus standing in front of him, Fluttershy nodded.

“Yes it works on dragons and other various monsters too” Fluttershy replied with a tiny smile.

Tony let out a slow whistle. “Well that certainly ends that problem now we just have to wait for…” He was interrupted by a loud crash of thunder and a flash of lightning. “…speak of the gods.” Tony said deadpanly. Steve ran into the cabin perspiring slightly with his shield in hand.

“Did I miss it?” He asked Tony who nodded sagely.

“Apparently Fluttershy here has the ability to stare down the Hulk.” Tony told Steve who looked at the little yellow pegasus in confusion.

“She did what?” he exclaimed startled at the image his mind was trying to picture of the yellow pony starring down the Hulk. “Are you sure Tony?” he asked, Tony shrugged.

“That’s what they’re telling me, believe what you want.” He replied “How’re you feeling Bruce?” Tony asked Bruce who was getting up from the couch that Fluttershy had put him on.

“I’m fine Tony, it takes a lot to hurt me, remember?” Bruce replied a slight smile on his face.

“Oh right how could I forget?” Tony asked matching the smile. From outside there was more thunder and Tony caught the sound of Dash yelling at someone.

“Get out of my clouds you idiot, you’re messing with my storm!” Dash shouted.

“Your clouds, foolish equine do you know who thou address? I am Thor of Asgard the god of thunder!” Tony and the rest rushed outside to see Dash impact against the ground outside Fluttershy’s cabin as Thor descended from the clouds with the help of his hammer. Upon seeing his friends Thor stopped looking menacingly towards Dash who was struggling to her feet and walked forward embracing Tony in a arm lock. “Tony it gladdens me to see you again.” Thor told Tony

“Good to see you too Thor, try not to hurt the rainbow pony, she isn’t very smart but her friends love her.” Tony said returning Thor’s grip.

“Hey what do you mean by that!” Dash yelled flying at Tony angrily.

“Only joking Dash.” Tony told her as Thor stepped away from him looking around in confusion.

“Tony I am puzzled, early I was walking through the halls of Asgard when suddenly I walked through a pink portal and ended up in the clouds. Then this equine began to berate me and claimed ownership of my clouds so I sent her back to earth and yet the beast stands. I am very confused”

“Don’t worry we’ll figure this out, Steve’s here along with Bruce, come inside and we’ll fill you in on what you missed.” Tony said leading him into the cabin.

Luna sat bolt upright in her bed and quickly ran to her sister’s chambers.

“Sister we have a major problem!” She yelled as she burst through the door, Her sister turned to her with worry showing on her face.

“I know…”
