The Smell Of Cinnamon

“Sonata!” Adagio called from the doorway, “Get over here and help Sunny bring her things in!”

“YAY!” Sonata immediately came running over, jogging on the spot, “I’m ready! I’ll help Sunny bring in her stuff!”

“She’s downstairs,” Adagio giggled as she stepped past her into the apartment, smiling as Sonata rushed down the stairs so quickly she left a cloud of dust.

“You want me to help too?” Aria asked.

“Nope,” Adagio smiled, advancing on her, “You and I are going to have a little alone time.”

“We are?” Aria blinked, “Um… okay, then.”

“Mmhmm,” Adagio grinned, tugging Aria back into the bedroom by her shirt collar.

“Well, all righty,” Aria chuckled and nuzzled her, “What do you have in mind? Aside from the obvious answer.”

Adagio reached around and clapped her hand against Aria’s rear, “You know exactly what I have in mind,” she smirked.

“Dur,” Aria rolled her eyes playfully, chuckling, “I was talking about the specifics.”

“Hmm…” Adagio pondered as she pushed Aria onto the bed, “When was the last time you cleaned back there?”

“This morning,” Aria shrugged, “Why?”

Adagio grinned, “Turn over. Let’s see how you taste,” she purred.

Aria shrugged and did so, raising her lower half up, “Knock yourself out.”

Adagio snickered as she reached around and unclipped Aria’s belt, sliding her jeans down off her legs as her fingers trailed over her thigh. Sliding her panties down to her knees, she leaned down and gently kissed Aria’s rear, “You know, you can play all nonchalant with me, but I know once you get going, you’re a quivering little mess.”

“Uh-huh,” Aria chuckled, “You just looove seeing me squirm and how long it’ll take to break me.”

“Mmhmm…” Adagio purred as she gently pushed Aria’s rear apart and dragged her tongue over her ring.

“Mmm…” Aria giggled, tapping her hands along the comforter, “Not quite there yet, Ma…”

“Very funny, sweetheart,” Adagio giggled as she circled her ring with her tongue, briefly trailing her fingers over Aria’s sex.

“Oh lovely, I could be playing Tetris on my phone right now…” Aria giggled, moaning a little as she felt the pleasure rising.

“Oooh, getting lippy are we?” Adagio snickered as she pushed her tongue past Aria’s ring and felt it squeeze down as she slowly slid inside.

“You know you...ngh… like it,” Aria moaned softly, clutching the covers.

“Mmhmm…” Adagio hummed, sliding her tongue in deeper as she gently tapped her palms against Aria’s rear.

Aria moaned louder, trembling, “Ooohh Ma… sooo good…”

Adagio purred softly, wriggling her tongue as her hand trailed back down to Aria’s sex, circling her nub as she glanced up at her.

“Aaahh… that’s it… Nghh… ooohh…” Aria groaned, just about collapsing at this point.

Adagio pulled back and snickered, “There we go, there’s the Aria I know and love,” she purred before returning her mouth to Aria’s rear.

“Nngh…” Aria shook a little, “Don’t stop… oh god…”

Adagio hummed softly and slid her tongue back in, sliding two fingers into Aria’s sex at the same time.

Moaning louder, Aria collapsed on the bed, “Yes…! That’s it! Right there!”

Gently stroking the walls of Aria’s sex, Adagio curled her tongue up against her rectum, humming harder as she watched her baby squirm.

“Ahhh… aaaaahh! Ahh!” Aria squealed, pulsating, “Ma…! Ma! I’m close! Ngh! Harder! Please!”

Adagio obliged and moved both her fingers and tongue faster and with more ferocity, grinning to herself as she rocked Aria harder against the bed.

“Yes! Yes! ...Yes! AH!” Aria moaned loudly. She squirmed all the more, trembling madly, and could feel the rush of her climax. “YES! Aaaahhh!”

Adagio grinned as she felt Aria clench down hard on her fingers and tongue, and the familiar warm rush of her climax hitting her arm. Riding Aria through her orgasm, she gently pulled back once she’d slumped onto the bed, “There we go. There’s Mommy’s girl…”

“Oh, screw yoooouuu…” Aria panted, laying flat on her stomach.

Adagio slid over her and laid down on top of her, “Aw, is Mommy’s girl feeling all disgruntled?”

“...No, not at all,” Aria shook her head, “I feel way too good…”

Adagio grinned and trailed her finger down the back of Aria’s neck, “Good. Mommy loves it when her baby feels better…”

“I always feel better with you girls…” Aria blushed.

Adagio nuzzled the back of her head and kissed her hair, “Aw, we love you too, sweetie.”

“I love you too, Ma,” Aria rolled onto her back, panting still, “Thanks for that…”

“Anytime,” Adagio purred, “You taste good…”

“So do you,” Aria reached over, absently toying with her curls.

Adagio kissed Aria’s neck, running her fingers down to her hips, “So how long do you think it’ll be before they realize we aren’t helping?”

“Right about-” Aria began.

“Mommy?” Sonata’s voice sounded from the other side of the door, followed by knocking, “Mommy, are you in there? Are you okay? Where’s Aria?”

“...now,” Aria finished, snickering.

“Yes, Mommy’s in here,” Adagio snickered, “And Aria’s here as well.”

“What are you guys doing?” Sonata sounded like she was pouting, “Wait, don’t answer that, I know what.”

“And what are you going to do about it?” Aria chuckled.

“And what was it we were doing, Sona?” Adagio giggled as she ran a hand over Aria’s rear.

“Sexing it up while we’re slaving away! How rude!” Sonata now opened the door, giving them both a playful disapproving look, “Get up and help us!”

“Aw, but sweetie,” Adagio playfully whined, “Ari-baby’s cute little bum tastes sooooo good!”

“No! Get out of bed right now and help! That’s an order!” Sonata pouted.

“Okay, Other Mama,” Aria snickered, getting off the bed.

“Alright,” Adagio smirked as she slid off of Aria and gave Sonata’s rear a squeeze, “But later we’re going to see what yours tastes like, sweetie.”

“My what?” Sonata blinked, tilting her head.

“Your cute little bum,” Adagio smirked as she ushered Sonata out of the bedroom.

“In that case, save some for me when you do,” Aria followed them out.

“Oh boy,” Adagio grinned as she wrapped her arms around Sonata’s waist, hoisting her up onto her hip as she carried her down the stairs.

“Aww, you’re such a little baby,” Aria snickered, grinning.

“I am not a baby,” Sonata pouted.

“No, but you’re my baby,” Adagio purred as she nibbled Sonata’s chin.

“Hee… Yes Mommy, I’m your baby,” Sonata giggled.

“Yikes,” came Sunset’s voice as they came out to the moving van, “She can just perch on one hip like that? Damn, you’re strong!”

Adagio giggled, “Also helps that my hips are particularly wide.”

“Yep! I can! Look, no hands!” Sonata grinned.

“Careful, Sonata, you don’t want to fall,” Aria cautioned.

“Oh she won’t fall,” Adagio snickered, “So how are we doing, Sunny?”

“Pretty good, we’re about halfway done,” Sunset said, wiping sweat from her forehead, “It’s just a matter of getting some furniture pieces up.”

“Oh, don’t worry about it,” Adagio smiled, signalling two of the bouncers to come and help, “They’ll get your furniture upstairs, you come up and get comfy.”

“Oh, thanks,” Sunset smiled in relief, “I’ll just take this last box up, then.”

Sunset picked up the box while Adagio carried Sonata back up the stairs, letting the bouncers get to work unloading and bringing in Sunset’s bedroom furniture. Once they were inside, Sunset set the box down in her room and the four of them sat down on the sofa.

“So… welcome home, Sunny,” Adagio grinned, leaning over and kissing Sunset’s cheek while Sonata snuggled up in her lap.

“Wow… I can hardly believe it,” Sunset murmured, smiling brightly, “I never would’ve thought I’d be here like this, with all of you.”

“Neither did either of them,” Adagio grinned, indicating Aria and Sonata, “In fact, Aria spent the majority of her time before moving in here calling me all manner of nasty things.”

“Oh, come on…” Aria grabbed a cushion and buried her face into it, “Do you seriously have to bring that up?”

“I remember that,” Sonata pouted slightly, “I didn’t like Mommy being called nasty names… Much less by someone I thought was my friend.”

“Oh but it’s funny!” Adagio cooed at Aria.

“Wow, what changed?” Sunset asked.

“Oh, the funniest thing,” Adagio snickered, “Aria was downstairs, trying to convince Sona to leave me. And so I got up onto the bar, sat in front of her, and said ‘Oh shut up and lick my pussy.’”

“Wait, what!” Sunset began laughing hysterically, “Are you serious?!”

“Sadly, yes,” Aria muttered, “Easily willed by a beautiful woman and her naked body.”

“Mmm… hateful, ‘why must you turn me on’ sex is some of the best sex out there,” Adagio purred, “She left in quite a hurry, and the next time she came here she’d ran away and needed somewhere to live. We invited her in without hesitation.”

“And now here she is!” Sonata crawled over to snuggle in Aria’s lap, giggling, “Right here with us, where she belongs!”

Aria pouted, but otherwise snuggled Sonata tightly, “You guys are making me blush…”

“That’s just adorable,” Sunset giggled behind her hand.

“And Sona just loves her so much,” Adagio cooed, pulling Sunset into a cuddle.

“I can tell,” Sunset grinned, observing the two of them, “And Aria clearly loves her too. That’s so cute.”

“You guys…” Aria mumbled, burying her face in Sonata’s hair.

“And still playing the tough girl, that’s just priceless,” Sunset snickered.

“Oh it’s almost a game we play now,” Adagio giggled, “How quickly can we make Ari-baby blush.”

“It’s fun!” Sonata grinned, “Making her squirm and get all blushy is sooooo cute!”

“I bet it is,” Sunset smiled.

“Mmmph… I hate you all.”

“Love you too!” Sonata kissed her cheek.

“Mommy loves the both of you,” Adagio leaned over, kissing both of their noses as she pulled Sunset into her lap, “And Mommy loves you too, Sunny…”

“I love you too, Mama,” Sunset kissed her cheek.

Adagio purred and nuzzled into Sunset’s hair, “Mmm… you smell lovely…”

“Thanks,” Sunset chuckled, “It’s my shampoo.”

Adagio buried her nose into Sunset’s hair and took a deep whiff, “Mmm… you smell like cinnamon…”

“Thanks, I love the smell of cinnamon,” Sunset grinned, “I have a lot of cinnamon stuff.”

“Mmm… this house is going to smell so good with you in here,” Adagio purred, burying her face into Sunset’s neck and nibbling her intimately.

“Mm, thanks,” Sunset chuckled, angling her head.

Adagio’s arms wrapped tighter around Sunset’s waist as she kissed along her neck, “Mmm… you’re so soft…”

Sunset giggled as she nuzzled her, “I sure am, thank you…”

Sonata giggled, “Oh Sunny! Mommy’s had the biggest crush on you since we all first met!”

“Really? Well, gosh…” Sunset blushed heavily, “That’s really sweet…”

“You couldn’t tell?” Aria asked with a chuckle, “She offered you a job right on the spot, and you’ve had nothing but promotions and raises ever since you started.”

Sunset blushed, “Maybe, but I still knew she didn’t let personal feelings get in the way that much.”

“No, but if she saw a reason to reward you, she jumped onto it,” Aria snickered.

“No kidding…” Sunset sweat dropped, chuckling.

“And now look. She’s added you to her collection,” Aria laughed as Adagio kissed Sunset’s cheek.

“And now you make it sound like we’re collectibles,” Sunset laughed, nuzzling Adagio’s cheek.

“Knowing Ma? Probably,” Aria chuckled, “But hey, she sees something she wants and she’s gonna get it.”

“Oh yes!” Sonata agreed, “Like all of us!”

“And the club,” Adagio grinned, “I get everything I want…”

She pulled back for a second, and her face slowly fell.

“Well… almost everything…”

They all looked at her knowingly, before hugging her in an impromptu group hug. Sonata nuzzled her face, Aria stroked her hair, and Sunset kissed her cheek.

“I sowwy…” Sonata said softly, “We still love you…”

Adagio’s heart fluttered as she relished in the affection from her girls, “Mommy loves you too. Mommy loves all of you so much.”

“We definitely love you,” Aria murmured.

“And we always will. I know life doesn’t always work out the way we want sometimes, but… hey. Doesn’t always mean it’s a bad thing,” Sunset smiled.

Adagio nuzzled against Sunset’s cheek and smiled, “I know that… hey, let’s all go out for dinner, shall we?”

“Sounds like funsies!” Sonata squealed.

“I’m in,” Aria nodded.

“Wherever you want to go, Mama,” Sunset smiled more.

Adagio cooed at Sunset calling her Mama and lifted up a newspaper, “Hmm… Baltimare is only twenty minutes away. How about we go to Medivel Times? I’m in the mood to pig out!”

Sonata did a little happy dance, “Yes yes yes yes! We totally have to go there, Mommy! It’s been a while!”

Aria rubbed her chin thoughtfully, “Think we all went there once or twice… I think I remember it being so good. I’m in!”

“I love that place!” Sunset marveled, “Count me in, tenfold!”

“Alright, everyone get in the car!” Adagio grinned, patting Aria and Sonata’s rears in an indication to hop up.

“...And when you got up and volunteered for the arena, the look on that knight’s face!” Aria laughed as they stumbled back into the car, “He’s like ‘I can’t fight a maiden!’”

“And then she wiped the floor with him!” Sunset laughed, “Didn’t even bother picking up the armor, just floored the guy!”

Adagio smiled, “When push comes to shove, Mommy can fight dirty.”

“And how!” Sonata giggled, “Wicked awesometacular, Mommy!”

“Thank you, Sona-baby,” Adagio purred as they got back into the car, “I don’t know about any of you, but I couldn’t eat another bite if my life depended on it.”

“Urgh…” Aria clutched at her stomach, her tongue sticking out, “If anyone mentions food, I’m going to puke.”

Sunset giggled, “I’m still famished! Then again, I’ve been ravenous for the past few days, so I’m not too surprised.”

Sonata blinked, “How can you still be hungry?! You had nachos, burgers, another burger, and you even finished off my noodles!”

“I don’t know,” Sunset laughed, “I just am.”

“How much do you usually eat?” Adagio asked as everyone strapped in.

“A lot,” Sunset admitted, “I binge sometimes, and tend to have five small meals a day.”

Adagio raised an eyebrow and lifted Sunset’s shirt, seeing her toned stomach underneath, “Damn, what’s your secret?”

“I have a fast metabolism,” Sunset sweatdropped.

“Lucky you! I’ve got a belly now!” Sonata lifted her shirt and patted her rounded belly, “See?”

“Aww, but it’s adorable!” Aria giggled, patting it too, “I always liked girls with some tummy pudge.”

Adagio giggled, “That’s because I kept feeding her. When we met, she mentioned that she had an eating disorder. Not anymore she doesn’t,” she snickered.

Sonata shook her head, “No, I feel better from it! Plus Mommy burned all the trashy magazines I used to read! No more of that ‘Look Like This And You’ll Matter’ nonsense!”

“Blegh,” Aria made a face, but laughed a bit, “I don’t do book burning, I just rip out the pages and toss them in the recycle bin.”

“Have you ever put magazine ashes in soil? Feeds the plants like you wouldn’t believe,” Adagio giggled.

“Are you serious?” Sunset looked at her with surprise, “I had no idea!”

“Why do you think those flowers on the shelves are so big and beautiful? I put her magazines in their pots,” Adagio explained, “Ironic, actually.”

“It’s amazing!” Sonata beamed, “We made a game out of it. I went and bought trashy magazines, we’d laugh at the stupid stories, and then we’d burn them for the plants!”

“And I demand to be in on it because that sounds fun,” Aria chuckled.

“This, I have to see,” Sunset grinned.

Adagio giggled as she flicked on the car stereo.

‘Because you know I'm all about that bass, 'Bout that bass, no treble! I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that ba-’

“Ugh, I hate this song,” Adagio scoffed as she fiddled with the dials, “But yeah, Sonata’s favorite, the white rose, is almost two and a half feet tall now.”

“She grew that for me shortly after I moved in,” Sonata smiled brightly, “And she used the magazine ashes to make it grow. When she showed it to me a few days after planting it, it was already pretty. I think I started crying, it was so beautiful, just all of it!”

“Awwww…” Sunset cooed, giggling, “That’s really sweet. Poetic irony and with something so nice! What better way to stick it to unrealistic beauty standards?”

“Oh I didn’t grow it for that,” Adagio snickered, “I grew it because I thought it was pretty, and Sona was pretty, so I grew it for Sona. Trust me, if I’d deliberately tried to do that, it wouldn’t have turned out that well.”

“I can imagine,” Sunset shuddered.

“That is so sappy,” Aria said dryly, but giggled, “I swear I’ve got diabetes and cavities because of you two.”

Adagio turned back to Aria and grinned widely, “Brush your teeth when we get home, then.”

Aria pouted, crossing her arms, “Yes, Ma...”

“Good girl,” Adagio purred, leaning over and nuzzling Sonata in the passenger seat.

Sonata giggled, “Speaking of brushing teeth, I went and made a dentist appointment for next week! I’m due for a cleaning.”

“That’s good,” Adagio smiled as she pulled off into the highway, “Also make an appointment for a physical when we get home,” she added, poking Sonata’s stomach, “Want to make sure that all you’re getting is pudge, sweetie.”

“Okay, Mommy,” Sonata smiled, “Ari? When did you last go to the doctor?”

“Uh… a few months ago!” Aria said, her eyes shifting slightly, “Clean bill of health, he said.”

“Aria?” Adagio said sternly, looking at her through the rearview mirror.

Aria sunk back in the seating, shuddering, “...Last year.”

“And why didn’t you just say so?” Adagio asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I didn’t want to, okay? I get nervous going to the doctor,” Aria groaned, “It’s not that I don’t like it, I just don’t want to get told bad news.”

“Sweetheart, I know how nervous it can be expecting bad news from the doctor,” Adagio said softly, “But just because you don’t hear it doesn’t mean it’s not there. If something’s wrong, wouldn’t you want to know?”

“...I guess so,” Aria sighed.

“We can go with you!” Sonata offered, turning to look toward the back.

“Yeah, one or all of us can come with you to alleviate your fear,” Sunset nodded.

“There, see? We’ll make an appointment for-” Adagio was cut off when the car jerked forward and skidded to the side as a car rear-ended them. Pulling out of the skid, Adagio pulled the car to a stop before it veered into a ditch. Hissing, Adagio clutched her shoulder as the car that hit them gunned its engine and took off down the road.

“Mommy!” Sonata cried, unbuckling herself and clutching at her, “Mommy, are you okay?!”

“That dirtbag!” Aria snarled, looking out the window, “He just hit and ran!”

“Never mind, is everyone okay?” Sunset asked, a bit shaken.

Adagio struggled to unclip her seatbelt and opened the door. As soon as her foot hit the pavement, a sharp pain shot up her leg and she nearly fell over. Bracing herself on her good leg, she pulled herself back into her seat, “No… I think I broke something…”

“Mommy!” Sonata uttered in despair, snuggling her, “Someone call 911! We have to get Mommy to the hospital!”

“I’m on it!” Sunset whipped out her phone and dialed.

“I’d better call a tow truck,” Aria pulled out her phone as well, getting out of the car to inspect the damage.

Adagio leaned back in her chair and pulled her arm against her chest, running her fingers painfully over her shoulder, “Yeah… my arm and leg are either fractured or broken…”

“Which ones?” Sonata asked, her lip quivering.

“Right arm… left leg…” Adagio hissed, “Sona… grab the splint out of the glove compartment…”

“On it!” Sonata did so, pulling a splint out of the glove compartment and taking off the plastic wrapping, “I got it… what next?”

“Give it here…” Adagio said weakly, taking it from her and wrapping her arm tightly against her chest. Taking the second splint, she painfully set her leg into place and wrapped it tightly, “There we go… fuck, that hurts…”

“Mommy…” Sonata whimpered in worry. She reached into her purse, pulling out a spare bottle of painkillers, “Here, do you want one?”

“Oh no! Mommy can’t take medicine she isn’t prescribed,” Adagio hissed, “Thank you, though.”

“The ambulance should be here in a few minutes,” Sunset said as she got out, “I’m going to go on the road to flag them down. Sonata, stay here with Mama.”

Sonata nodded, “I will!”

Adagio leaned back against Sonata and sighed, “Mommy will be fine, Sona. She’s just a little banged up.”

“I-I know… I just…” Sonata gently snuggled her, careful not to apply pressure on her bad arm, “I hate seeing you hurt… It scares me.”

Adagio turned her head and kissed Sonata’s cheek, “It’s okay, sweetie. Remember what the Knight said when I clobbered him with his own mace? ‘Tis but a scratch.”

“B-But, your arm could be broken. That’s not a scratch…” Sonata nuzzled her, kissing her cheek.

“It’ll be okay. I’ll get to the hospital and they’ll fix me up no problem,” Adagio smiled.

Sonata nodded, cuddling her some more, “We’ll take care of you, Mommy…”

There was a sharp sound of a siren as the Ambulance pulled up beside the car. Two paramedics emerged from the back carrying a stretcher. Adagio waved them off.

“I don’t need a stretcher,” she grunted, “Just a little help getting in.”

The paramedics put the stretcher back and helped Agaio up, holding her under the arms. Adagio thanked them as she climbed into the back and sat down.

“Miss Dazzle?” one of the paramedics remarked, “I haven’t seen you since that incident at Canterlot Noble Inn.”

Adagio’s eyes widened as she made cutting motions across her throat, too late to stop Aria and Sonata from hearing.

“Incident? What incident?” Aria asked, frowning in confusion.

“Canterlot Noble Inn? What were you doing there?” Sonata blinked.

“Nothing, it was… on business,” Adagio said coolly as the Paramedics cut into her shoulder, “Ah!”

“Mommy!” Sonata reached out for her.

One of the Paramedics looked from Sonata to Adagio, confused, “...Aren’t you a little too old to be her daughter?”

“She’s my girlfriend,” Adagio hissed as the paramedic set the pieces of her shoulder into place, “She calls me Mommy.”

The other paramedic chuckled, “That’s cute.”

Sunset came over to them worriedly, turning to Aria, “So, what do we do? Someone can go ride with her in the ambulance, but we’ll have to make our own way there.”

“The tow truck should be here soon, we’ll ride with him,” Aria nodded.

The paramedic nodded as they closed the doors of the ambulance as Sonata sat down next to Adagio and cuddled her. Setting a proper splint into place on her leg, the paramedic looked back up.

“So Miss Dazzle, if you don’t mind me asking, what business was it you were doing with the Rich family?”

“Nothing!” Adagio snapped, “And you’d do well to mind your own business.”

Sonata bit her lip, getting increasingly worried about that situation. She nuzzled Adagio, cuddling closer to her, ‘What did Mommy do? Was she okay? Why was she with them? Why won’t she tell us?’

“Well Miss Dazzle, everything looks okay, just a broken leg and a double break in your upper arm,” the paramedic remarked, “You’ll get fitted for braces at the hospital. You should still be mobile when you get home, but you’ll be in a lot of discomfort.”

“Thank you,” Adagio said stiffly as the paramedic returned to the front of the ambulance, leaving Adagio and Sonata alone as it took off toward the hospital.

While it had been just as Sonata feared, she was relieved that Adagio would be okay overall. She kissed her cheek, nuzzling into her good shoulder. Adagio purred softly and nuzzled Sonata’s hair, “Aw, Mommy loves you.”

“I love you too, Mommy,” Sonata murmured, “I’m just glad you’re okay…”

“You don’t sound glad, what’s wrong?” Adagio asked, bringing her good arm around Sonata’s shoulder.

“I… it’s nothing, Mommy,” Sonata shook her head.

“No no, what’s wrong?” Adagio asked, gently rocking Sonata against her.

“I just… When the thingy about your business with that Filthy Rich guy… I was worried,” Sonata murmured, “You don’t get secretive about things unless it’s really important… Is… everything okay? Did something happen?”

“I…” Adagio paused for a minute, remembering what Sonata had said when she’d shown her Timbre’s urn, “...do you remember when I got you and the girls all these really lovely Christmas gifts last year?”

Sonata nodded, “Yes… I remember. What about it?”

“Well… it cost so much that I couldn’t take the money out of the club’s profits, that would have been incredibly irresponsible of me,” Adagio sighed, “So… I made a deal with Filthy Rich.”

“Oh, well okay,” Sonata felt a wave of relief, but then paused. No, something wasn’t right. There was no way Adagio would have kept it secret if it were that simple, “What… was the deal?”

“I… sold my body to him for a night,” Adagio said, looking away from her.

Sonata’s eyes went wide. For as long as she’d known Adagio, she was gay. Repulsed at the idea of sleeping with another man. It was even hard to look at it as cheating, despite that in some technical way, it was. She’d slept with someone else and didn’t tell any of them about it. Nonetheless, she could get past that, and was more shocked at the fact it was a man.

So many questions ran through her mind, even with the obvious answer as to why. Sonata bit her lip, unsure of what to say about it. Then again, what could be said? It was all said and done. She shifted a bit in her seat, trying to pinpoint how she felt. Mad? No, she didn’t feel mad at all. Sad? That wasn’t it, either. Confused? Probably. But overall, as she looked upon Adagio’s body, getting a sense of shame from her, Sonata reached over and touched her hand.

“You really… did that? Just… Just to get us all a nice Christmas present?”

Adagio nodded, turning her head back to look at Sonata, “Mmhmm. I wanted to do something nice for all my girls…”

“Mommy… I can’t believe you… actually slept with a guy just to… get some extra money,” Sonata murmured, leaning toward her a bit, amazed, “I… I don’t even know if I could’ve done that! But you… you just… Mommy… I… we…” She looked down a bit, her shoulders shaking, “I can’t believe it, you’re just… you’re so amazing. You do so much for us… You always have… and… oh, Mommy… I don’t deserve you…”

Adagio wrapped her good arm around Sonata’s shoulder and pulled her in tightly, “Oh Sona, don’t say that…”

“But you do so much, and you’re amazing,” Sonata gently cuddled in to her, “I don’t know what I’d done to deserve that… But I won’t ever let you go! Why didn’t you tell us? We would’ve understood…”

“I just didn’t want to think about it,” Adagio sighed, cuddling Sonata under her arm, “This isn’t like with my… you know. I wasn’t trying to protect anyone, I just wanted to forget it ever happened.”

“Oh…” Sonata kissed her cheek sweetly, “I’m sorry, Mommy. I know what you mean.”

“It’s okay,” Adagio whispered, kissing the top of Sonata’s head, “Mommy loves you.”

“Sona-baby loves you too,” Sonata nuzzled her. Next Chapter: I Like It On My Belly Estimated time remaining: 3 Hours, 54 Minutes
