Gamma base, a "top-secret" research facility, rest rested in the rocky mountain range of Alaska. The base appeared dark and empty as if avoid of all life. The only light came from the lamp posts that dotted the compound. The compound’s buildings were worn and weathered, from the Alaskan cold. The cold winter winds howled and hollered, as they beat down on the facility structures.
A door of a slate gray building slowly opened, breaking the sound of the wind with its cold unoiled creaky. Two guards, dressed in heavy olive drab green uniforms and black combat boots, walked into the cold winter’s the night. Three of the men were dragging a barefooted man behind them, his arms slung over their shoulders. The third guard carried a large M-16 rifle, in the ready position, with the end of the barrel pointing to the ground, followed behind them.
The man being dragged wore a pair of white scrubs with the serial number BH-619 written in black over his right chest. His long disheveled raven black hair did his face from view, on his back he donned a pair a large black feathery wings and long thin barbed black tail. They continued to drag him across the compound to a building labeled “kennels” written on it.
The third guard swung his rifle over his shoulder by its strap. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He walked up to the door and proceeded to unlock the heavy metal door. The door swung in to reveal a dark corridor, the stench of fecal matter, rotten meat, and corpses filled the rolled out, assaulting the guards nostrils. The proceeded inside and closed the door behind them. The building’s lights flickered on seconds later after entering the building, revealing the concert corridor. The group continued on till they were by thick iron bars with a matching sliding door. A loud buzz broke the silence as the bar and the door slide open. They quickly continued down the hall, stopping at multiple checkpoints, eventually finding themselves in a large room with heavy iron cells, each one with a number of each cell. Many were empty and others hosted a creature of some kind or man, several were laid dead in their cells and were beginning to rot. They dragged him to the open cell with matching number above the cell door to his scrubs, threw him in, and slammed the door shut behind him.
(619’s Pov)
Around midnight, I awakened back in my dark, cold cell, the only source of light came from the moon shining through my cell window. I lifted myself off the cold concrete floor. I groaned in pain after today’s “training” and staggered to my bed before lying down on it.
My mind drifted to my memories, I was a Bio-human, a genetically enhanced human, born from a test tube. Nothing more than a living weapon. It wasn't always this bad, in fact, the polar opposite, but that was when I still had her. I remembered all the fun I had when she was here, but now she was gone.
My thoughts were quickly interrupted by a strange laughter, it was an insane kind of laughter, but it had some of mischief tone as well.I clenched my teeth, as violent ideas of what I want to do them, 'no she would want that, that what they want’ I thought to myself.
I quickly sat and sprang to my feet, pain seared through my body but pushed through it “Who’s there” I demanded the laughing ceased.
“Oi, Shut up freak” a guard down the fall yelled, overhearing my outburst.
“Oh, what joy such a chaotic mind you have” the voice spoke in a mischief tone. “by the way you can just think, what you want to say to me, we don’t anyone thinking you're crazy or something”
‘Pretty sure I already am.’ I thought as loudly a possibly could.
“Now, no reason to shout.” the voice spoke again “allow me to introduce myself I Discord, God of Madness and Disharmony.”
‘Okay, what do you want?’ I question the voice now knows as Discord.
“Oh, that’s simple, I've got a proposition for you,” he spoke in what serious voice with a hint of madness. I was about to tell to go to hell, before he made an offer I couldn't refuse “One that would get you out of here.”
Freedom, the one thing she wanted me to have but couldn't give me, I finally had a chance. ‘I’m listening,’ were the first words that came to mind
“Good, now first let's get you out of this cell.” he spoke and I then heard an audible snap, followed by the click of the cell door lock.
I made my way to the cell door and carefully opened it, so not to make a sound. I slowly slipped out and closed it behind me, without making too much noise.
“Good, Now make your way to the building labeled laboratory.” Discord instructed I made my way down the darkened hall ducking behind corners to avoid cameras and patrolling guards. I found my way to the security room and sneaked inside. Luckily for me there was only one guard stationed in the room. I quietly sneaked up behind him and grabbed him by the neck with one arm, putting him in a headlock, I quickly dragged my clawed hand across his throat. I then began to search his body for anything useful. All I found was a set of keys, a wallet, and his 9mm Glock with two full magazines.
I looked around the room as I tossed the keys in my hand, there were the monitors and control panel as well as a weapons locker. I quickly made my way over and unlocked the door. When I opened it up I found a bulletproof vest, an M-16 rifle with several rounds of ammo, and a few frag grenades.
I slipped off my shirt and slipped on the vest, and tightened the vest before my shirt back on to concealing it. I returned my gaze to the guard’s corpse, my clothes weren’t made for my task. I removed the guards pants swapped the for mine, and slipped on his jacket. I grabbed the M-16 and slipped the strap so it went across my chest.
I walked over to the control panel, I glanced over the buttons that dotted the metal panel and looked at the monitors. I couldn't leave them there I quickly found a button that readily opens it. I returned my attention to the screens all the cell doors opened. I returned my gaze to the console and found the switch for the lights and turned them. Chaos assumed as the creatures and my fellow Bio-humans made a dash for freedom.
I had to chuckle at the irony, the creatures, and weapons they made, to save lives, were now being used against them.
I left the control, locking it behind me, and made my way to freedom.
I managed to get out of the cell block with relative ease, only passing a few bodies of the guards that guarded us. One was literally getting with his pants down as it looked he didn’t have time to finish pulling up his pants before he had a claw ran through him. The cold night air stung my exposed skin, as it’s icy wind blew.
I looked around I saw my brothers sizing the main gate. Alarms blared alerting the base of the events. I stayed down not wanting to draw attention to myself. I quickly made my way over to the building labeled laboratory above the door.
I managed to get building unnoticed, but that was mostly done to the distraction at the main gate. I returned my attention the gate had been busted down, and the vehicle tracks led out from the depot. I shook it off and hoped for the best for them, and entered the building. The inside of the building was the same as the cell block expects the smell.
“Excellent, now head this hallway and go through the seventh door on the right inside a machine you just need to turn it on.” Discord chimed in.
“Thanks,” I replied a bit annoyed. I made my way down the hall till I reached the seventh door on the right, it w
“Oh, and, by the way, nice work on that distraction such chaos” he praised me ecstatically.
“Karma is a cold, heartless bitch,” I replied.
“Agreed.” He agreed without a second thought in dead tone.
I made my way down the hall till I reached the seventh door on the right, it was a typical wooden door with a fogged glass panel with the letters “DDG” written on it. I turned the doorknob and entered.
Inside was a dome-like machine with what seemed like a hole in the center. Heavy cable wires hung from the ceiling and connected to its base. A walkway seemed to go over the machine and stop halfway. I noticed the control panel and laptop sitting on a stand ran up to them.
The laptop was pretty basic, the screen was black with green letters on it. Next to the laptop was the control panel. It had a bunch of knobs and buttons, what caught my attention was a large switch with written beside it. The word on “on” was at the top and the word “off” was on the bottom. I pushed the switch forward to the on position and the machine whirred to life as a bright blue light erupted from the hole.
I slowly walked up a ramp to the plate from. I turned when I heard the sounds of heavy boots and the cocking of guns. I saw six armed men pointing their firearms at me while a seventh walked through them.
“Well 619,” he spoke with a mad scientist grin “now you weren't planning on escaping were you?” I knew this man well his name was Dr. Monstrum. He wore his typical black dress pants and gray striped shirt, with a white lab coat over it, and gave me his normal madman smile. “ Are you not enjoying your stay here,” he chuckled “now that breaks my heart”
I slowly backed up and reached for the frags in my pockets. I pulled them out and pull the pins. The rifles roared to life, the bullets dugged into my body. I threw the grenades at the control panel, before disappearing into the light.

As 619 vanished into the light, the grenades landed by the control panel and the second later destroyed the machine. Technicians and scientists assisted the damage to the dimensional doorway generator. Medics patched up the guards that were injured in the earlier events.
“Damn it,” Dr. Monstrum swore loudly, he turned to leave “ I want this machine fixed as soon possible and bring me 619’s file.”
“But doctor it would…” the lab assistant spoke but never got to finish her sentence. The mad doctor quickly pulled shoved his revolver into her mouth.
“What was that?” he asked, pressing the side harder into her mouth. She remained silent, closing her eyes tight and fearing the worst. He turned his gazed at her body and gave her a once over. “Why don’t you come from quarters and will talk about your position in this facility” The lab assistant nodded, and Dr. Monstrum removed his pistol from her mouth and wiped off the saliva on her blouse. After holstering his revolver, he left without another word. The assailant fell to knees and began to sob, a medic came over and tried to comfort the young girl as she let her cry softly into the medic’s chest.
(619’s pov)
I found myself in what appeared to be a dark forest. I slowly got to my feet, an incredible pain shot through my left leg. I reached down to find out I have been shot, from the placement of the bullet I guessed it was just a flesh wound.
I looked around and spotted the light in the distance. I ignored the pain as I limped towards to find a small cottage. It was too dark to see any real detail, but it looked like it was made out part of a tree. I hopped the some stairs and banged on the door.
I eventually succumbed to my injuries and leaned against the door. The door open as my vision blurred. I hit the floor, as a tall figure entered my view
“please, help.” I croaked out with the last of my strength. The appeared to sit down and place my head in their lap.
“Oh, you poor dear, Angel go get some help” the figure spoke with a feminine voice with that of an angel. “It’s okay you're safe now.” With that reassurance, I fell into the dark recesses of my mind.
