Fluttershy trotted merrily down the thin, dirt path that led to the cave where Harry The Bear slept. She was going to teach him how to catch fish, he never learnt by himself because no other bears lived near Ponyville to teach him, and although he is a bear, he can be nervous to do things alone. Hey, you learn something new every day!

The day had been planned out: Wake up, eat breakfast, wake up birds, wake up Harry, teach him to fish, get back home in time to feed the rodents, then she could meet up with Rainbow Dash for cheering practice. She had the cheering nailed pretty well already, so maybe she could meet with... Twilight? Meh, why not.

There was a small breeze in the air that gently pushed leaves along the path. Fluttershy didn't pay much attention to this, until a path of leaves gave view to a small, white shape. She was at first nervous to investigate, being Fluttershy and all, but she soon noticed: it's a bunny! She slowly approached the timid creature, curiosity taking the best of her.

"Well hello there little guy!" She started, talking in a small voice so an to not spook the creature, "Are you lost? The rest of the bunnies are further south." The bunny didn't move at all, or respond in any way. Fluttershy looked closer at it, and saw that it was shaking quite rapidly!

"Uhm, hello?" She was clearly not wanted hear. "Uhm, okay, I'll just... check back later, okay?" Fluttershy was about to walk away, when the bunny turned around to face her. This bunny was hopelessly small, clearly very young. It's face was full of worry and dread. It clutched it's knees and held them close to his chest as he violently shivered and stared at Fluttershy. It took her a moment to realise, he had a large red patch on the side of his face!

"Oh no, you're hurt! Oh you poor thing!" This was a dreadful sight, such a tiny creature, such a bad looking wound. Fluttershy, with great care, lifted the bunny into her hooves. She looked down at the creature, it didn't respond at all. Fluttershy was in a hurry to consult a vet, yet she flew at a steady speed, if she dropped this poor guy ,she wouldn't be able to live with herself.

Fluttershy waited impatiently in the waiting room, she feared the worst. It was probably only 20 minutes or something, but it felt like hours. Not only that, but she had to live with the fact that Harry The Bear would have to wait a while longer before he learns how to fish!

Every time a nurse walked through the door, Fluttershy's heart beat would stop for a second, the wait was painful. Until, finally;

"Fluttershy, you may see your bunny now." She didn't waste any time, she immediately leapt onto her hooves and sprinted into the vet's room, probably accidentally shoving the nurse, not that Fluttershy would have noticed.

The bunny was now in a glass case, no longer looking shy or vulnerable, but... mad? It sat with it's arms folded, a bandage around the side of his tiny face.

"I have some good news and some bad news for you, miss." The doctor said to Fluttershy, he spoke calmly, noticing her worries. Fluttershy didn't reply.

"The good news is, your bunny is not at risk. We managed to tend to the wound and clean it before any infection occurred," Fluttershy now looked up at the doctor, "No other injuries have been found ." She sighed, relieved that this bunny would be A okay.

"However..." Fluttershy's heart beat starting increasing again, surely this wasn't healthy, "We have discovered your bunny has ADHD." Fluttershy froze. "It can be difficult to find owners for pets with mental disabilities like this." She looked into the creature's eyes, the bunny only looked angry with her... "They're an awfully big handful to care for, though if you treat them right they will do as they're told... now and then" the Doctor explained.

Fluttershy though for a moment... "I'll take him!" The doctor looked at her and smiled.

"You did the right thing, if you won't, odds are nopony else will. She needs a carer." Maybe this bunny was going to be more difficult to tame than Fluttershy's other pets, all she could think about was that traumatised, tiny body laying in shock by a pile of leaves.

She was home now, her new pet in a little basket with a red and white chequered blanket. She placed it on the floor and SUMMONED THE RABBIT!

"You can come out now, little guy, we're home." A small face poked out of the blanket, and soon enough the bunny leaped out and started investigating Fluttershy's cottage.

"So, are you hungry?" The small creature immediately snapped it's head towards Fluttershy and started rapidly bouncing.

"I'll take that as a yes." Fluttershy decided that the lil' guy should have something super nutritious to get his energy back, sweet potato salad!

She stood at her kitchen corner, peeling the potatoes, and who should approach the bowl, but the bunny! Fluttershy didn't know how she got up there, but if there's anything Pinkie Pie taught her, it's not to question things! The bunny took one sniff at the bowl, and covered it's nose, shaking it's head.

"Oh, uhm, I suppose you could have..." before Fluttershy could suggest something healthy, the bunny had already found the cookie jar, and was waiting beside it.

"But, a cookie isn't very good for you, you need something fresh to regain your energy." The bunny just folded it's arms.

"Well, it was worth a try..." Fluttershy decided to just give the bunny a cookie, she wanted him to see her as a friend, so this might be a good way to do it.

"I'll just have these sweet potatoes ready for the rodents, I know Sammy The Squirrel loves them..." The bunny hungrily devoured the cookie, leaving not a crum to remain. The speed at which such a small creature could eat this cookie was... odd, he must have been very hungry...

Fluttershy continued pealing the potatoes, when, she looked to the side to check up on the bunny. It had fallen asleep on the kitchen counter. It's stubborn face now returned to that innocent face Fluttershy first saw, it's folded arms were spread out, and Fluttershy couldn't help but internally "naaaw" at the sight.

"Good night... my sweet angel."
