"Have a party? How, we are keeping Ed secret remember." Rainbow dash states.

"We'll have a secret party!"

  Personally I don't really care about a party, but it looks like it would make Pinky pie happy. I'm more like those people who sit at the back in the dark waiting till it's time to go home. But who knows maybe they are different here.

"Sure let's do it. Let's see if we can pull this off without anyone noticing" I say.

"What, your okay with this?" Rainbow dash looks shocked.

"Sure why not, I haven't been to a party in over a year." I say shrugging my shoulders.

"B-but then you may get discovered. We don't know what other ponies will react like." Twilight says jumping into the conversation.

"It's no big deal, if anyone comes to check on us we can just say you all were having a sleepover. And Pinky pie wanted to have a sleepover party. "

"That actually sounds like it could work." Rarity comments.

"Yay! Just leave all the preparations to me, THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST SECRET PARTY EVER!" Pinky says practically buzzing with excitement.

  It takes Pinky pie roughly six hours to set up for the party. The entire time everyone else was banished to the upstairs bedroom. Twilight spent the time reading, and everyone else talked about old times. I decided to get some practice in for my drawing so I drew everyone sitting upstairs in Twilights room. I don't know how she did it but when Pinky pie was done setting up she just appeared over my shoulder.

"WOW! Your a really good artist!"

  I nearly fall out of my seat, when she appears and practically yells that in my ear. I looked over into her direction.

I turn to look at her. "Thanks."

"So is the party ready?"

"Yep! Everypony come on down!"

  I follow pinky down the stairs and to say I'm shocked would be an understatement. The entire downstairs is designed like a dance club. Lights are hanging from the ceiling, dark blue styrofoam covers the walls and a DJ stand has been set up by the stairway. The windows are covered with pictures of the inside so if anyone looks in from the outside it looks like a empty library.

"Where did you get all this stuff?" I ask in bewilderment.

"I had it lying around." I hear her say while bouncing around.

  Rainbow dash flies over to me and puts a hoof on my shoulder." Listen, here's some helpful advice. Don't try to figure out how pinky pie does anything and you will keep your sanity."

"O-okay" I say trying to understand what she meant.

  Out of the corner of my eye, I then notice Pinky reach her hoof into her mane and pull out a cupcake.

  Suddenly the front door slams open and in walks a white mare with a mane of varying shades of blue.

"DJ PON 3 is in the house! Let's get this party started!" She yells.

I look over to Twilight and Pinky pie having a conversation about what's going on.

"Pinky pie I thought we were keeping Ed secret. So why is Vinyl here?" Twilight says to Pinky in a hushed voice.

"Hey, you the new person in town." I turn around to see that the DJ has walked up to me.

"Yeah."

"The name's Vinyl Scratch, nice to meet ya"

"It's nice to meet you as well."

Vinyl shakes my hand, then walks over to the DJ stand. "Let's do this!"

The party lasted till maybe 12:30, and it was the most I've ever danced in my whole life. Somehow once the party was done pinky pie managed to remove all the decorations, and electronics. The library looked the exact same as from when I first saw it within ten seconds.

  One by one the ponies started to leave, starting with Applejack because she needed to get up early tomorrow. Then Rarity, Rainbow dash and Fluttershy left. That left Vinyl, pinky pie and Twilight.

"So what now?" I ask.

"We all hit the hay" Twilight says mid yawn.

  Then she realizes that I have no place to stay. I notice her looking around the library room as if she's trying to find something that's not there.

"What's up Twilight?"

She looks at me with a guilty grin." It's just that I realized that you have no place to stay. There's nowhere in this library that would even be considered comfortable enough to be called a bed."

I nod my head understanding her concerns. "Well maybe I could just get some blankets and sleep on the floor."

"Sleep on the floor! No way, I've got a free room back at my place." Vinyl says walking over to us.

"Vinyl what about Octavia?"

"It's no problem Twilight, she's all the way out in Canterlot right now."

"Thank you for your hospitality" I say to both mares trying to be as respectful as I can.

Both mares just smile at me. Then the sound of the door opening and closing alerts us to Pinky pies departure.

"Right, shall we get a move on then." Vinyl says gesturing to the door.

I simply nod, and we make our way over to the door. I decide to let vinyl go first to see if the coast is clear however nobody is awake. The town is silent and the moon is high above the sky surrounded by a glorious array of stars.

"So, where is your place?" I ask.

"It's that one over there." She points her hoof over at the closest house to my right.

It looks the same as most of the houses around but it still holds slight differences. From this distance I can see the party lights attached above the door and the top window lying on the ground by the front door.

"What happened?" I say looking at the window waiting for her to follow my gaze.

"I was doing the dishes."
