Chapter 1: Sunset Acts On Her Frustrations

Sunset Acts On Her Frustrations

Sunset banged her head against her locker. Another nearly sleepless night thanks to Little Miss Sunshine, Twilight Sparkle. Lately all of Sunset's thoughts have been consumed by the princess.

And she seriously wanted it to stop.

After she had watched that performance by Twilight and her five so called "friends", the thoughts Sunset got about her were anything but kid friendly.

It didn't help that they had a few classes together, ones the rest of the girls weren't in. Sunset's eyes would wander during a boring lesson, and fall upon the younger girl. Who, almost every time it happened, would unfortunately be doing something incredibly cute.

Like biting the tip of her pencil in thought. Or making little grunting sounds as she worked hard on something.

Sometimes Sunset wouldn't even realize she was staring until Twilight would look back at her with a curious expression.

To which Sunset would respond with turning around so fast it hurt, and sliding down in her chair.

It got worse as the week went on. Sunset started not paying attention to anything but Twilight at all. Anytime they passed each other in the hallway, the younger girl would catch her eye and she'd be completely transfixed by her.

She started slamming into open lockers, running into people, (like Flash, who she couldn't even look at without getting a migraine) and tripping over nothing.

She hated it.

Sunset was not clumsy. Anyone at Canterlot High could tell you that. In the four years that she had been at CHS, she has never fallen, stumbled, crashed, tripped, slammed, banged, dropped, or bumped.

But now, here she was, barely able to walk in a straight line because of some stupid princess. And people were noticing.

Plus, why should only Sunset suffer? It's her fault Sunset was acting like this. She should have to pay too! Especially since Sunset had worked so hard for what she has now, only to watch Twilight take it from right under her!

Oh, she was going to make Twilight pay. And then the thoughts of her would leave Sunset's mind once and for all and she'd finally be at peace.

Sunset lifted her head off her locker, closing it with a devilish smirk. She had work to do.

Thanks to some intimidation, she was able to get Twilight's schedule from some terrified students who worked in the office as aids.

She had English first, then Art, Trigonometry, (With Sunset), Lunch, History, (Also with Sunset) and Science. (Also with Sunset.)

Today they were working with chemicals. Which meant instead of being in the classroom, they were going to be in the labs all period. Which also meant Sunset had the perfect opportunity to snatch Twilight up when she least expected it.

She was practically giddy when the bell rang, signaling that class was over. She waited until Twilight had packed up her stuff before following her out the classroom. When the throng of students thinned and Sunset was sure none of Twilight's friends were in sight, she put a hand over Twilight's mouth and dragged her over to the corner hallway that was half shrouded in darkness.

Since it was the end of the day, most students who had lockers this far back had already packed up their belongings before last period. Which meant Sunset would have no interruptions whatsoever.

Perfect.

She slammed Twilight against an empty row of lockers, the loud sound reverberating around the now deserted hall. Twilight gave her the same terrified look Sunset had imagined she would give her, and she grinned wickedly, resting her hands on either side of the younger girl, making sure she couldn't escape. She stared into Twilight's eyes for a moment, the grin widening.

"You know," she started in a low, husky tone, "You've been driving me crazy all week," She played with a strand of Twilight's hair that had fallen over her chest. "And now that I've got you in front of me, I just don't quite know what to do with you."

"W-With me?" Twilight stuttered. "What do you mean 'with me'?" She audibly gulped, which made a fire ignite in the pit of Sunset's stomach. "What are you going to do with me?" She sqeaked.

Sunset chuckled darkly. "That's for me to know and for you to find out, isn't it?" She replied, tugging at the neck tie around Twilight's sky blue blouse. Oh how she loved being in control. Striking fear into the hearts of others and making them cower in her presence. She almost got drunk off the feeling. She guessed some people would call her a megalomaniac.

Sunset stared at Twilight darkly. "I saw your little, 'performance' in the cafeteria on Monday. If you could even call it that." She scoffed. "And you know, I couldn't decide between getting rid of you, and kissing you."

She watched Twilight's eyebrows shoot up in curiosity.

"Oh don't flatter yourself. You're the reason why I'm in this mess!" Sunset pointed a finger at her.

Twilight looked confused. "My fault? What's my fault?"

"Don't act like you don't know!" Sunset snapped. "I've become a complete idiot because of you! I keep staring into space, walking into things, tripping over my own two feet! Everything was perfect until you showed up with your stupid cute face!"

"You think my face is cute?" Twilight asked with a blush.

"Is that all you got from that?!" The older girl barked at her, making her wince. "I just told you that I couldn't stop thinking about you all week!"

"I thought you hated me." Twilight responded, eyebrows knitted.

"I do!" Sunset barked back defensively. "Or at least I did! I don't know anymore because every time I think of you I wanna do things to you that aren't kid friendly!"

Twilight snorted. "Like what?"

"Like this!" Sunset shouted, roughly kissing Twilight, tugging at her hair until she squeaked.

Sunset pinned Twilight's arms above her head while catching her breath. She dove back in, nipping and pulling at Twilight's bottom lip until she moaned.

And that's when Sunset lost it.

Her lips moved from Twilight's own to her jawline, down her neck and to her collarbone. There she left generous amounts of marks, just like she said she would.

Twilight's erratic breathing was enough to boost Sunset's ego for days. She was the one in control. She was the one reducing Celestia's prized pupil to a puddle. Twilight was putty in her hands. There was no greater feeling than the one she got from making those who defy her into submissive dummies.

Though Twilight was no dummy. She was still a high ranking princess after all, but it was clear she was losing this fight. Sunset was just too skilled at what she was doing for her to give any resistance. Sunset could feel the younger girl's body go weak under her touch.

"So this is how you truly feel about me, huh?" Twilight quipped breathlessly with a smirk.

That cheeky little- Sunset nipped hard at a particular spot on Twilight's shoulder causing her to wince in pain. "Shut up." She commanded.

Twilight raised an eyebrow. "And what if I don't?"

Sunset hadn't thought this far. She didn't expect someone like Twilight to have a backbone. Especially not in this situation. "I'll uh, um-"

Twilight folded her arms and looked at the older girl expectantly.

"No one's ever challenged me before." Sunset said, squinting at the other girl. "So I don't have an actual response to that."

Twilight smirked. "Of course you don't," She responded, her breathing becoming normal again. The marks on her lavender chest were starting to turn red.

Sunset should be angry. Furious even. How dare she ruin what was supposed to be Sunset conquering her opponent by making smart remarks? How dare she think she could just waltz into the school and take what was rightfully Sunset's?

But she couldn't.

Because she found the smug look Twilight was giving her to be extremely endearing. She wanted to pull her into the nearest closet and wipe it right off her stupid face.

They stared challengingly into each others eyes for a long drawn out moment, sizing each other up. Their breathing became heavy with excitement and anticipation. Who would make the first move? Who would dominate the other and truly be known as the girl who ruled the school?

Neither, apparently, because the whole thing had been just a really realistic dream.

Sunset had awoke in Science class with a start, her safety goggles pushed up in her hair. She must have fallen asleep during the lesson. She looked around at the other students who were snickering and giggling at her expense.

"Glad to see you're awake, Ms. Shimmer." The Science teacher said, turning around from the dry erase board. "Maybe you could actually pay attention to the lesson now."

More laughter erupted.

Sunset groaned in response and just propped her head up on one arm in severe disinterest. She could have sworn the whole thing was real.  The sounds Twilight made, the feel of her lips, the sweet smell of her skin, everything was so real and yet, it wasn't. Half of her was relieved but most of her was pissed.

She sighed as the teacher began the lesson on how opposites attract, but couldn't fight the feeling that a certain purple haired princess was staring at her.
