Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - The Victim of The Crime

Chapter 1 - The Victim of The Crime

Lavander blossom, female, age 16 strode down the street, the features of the buildings lapped in a brumous mist because of her dreaming state. This dream was a memory of a day with no significance, but albeit one that played through her naps more often than she'd like to admit. She took a turn left into a building, the only one that mattered which is why the fog did not consume the green paint of a shop that reminded her of a Japonyese-styled (Japanese) judo. The shop owner was usually a middle-aged griffon who would normally joke about the phrase 'weeaboo' but tonight a shadow of some sort stood there. It's features where uncertain, but the young mare in the memory from her fillyhood clearly saw the charcoal-black body of an equine. It was tall and slender, with the texture of leather. It had a shallow stomach like a poorly-fed beggar. The head rested on a long neck. Not like a giraffe, but longer than the norm. And it's face… it was unclear. Although the room (as far as Lavander remembers) was well lit, the face was masked in a shadow.

The mane was similar to the monarch's, in the sense of its astral appearance. But the shape was like that of rum in an open fire. The overall appearance was akin to changelings in the sense of chitin-like flesh. Lavender let out a breath she did not know she kept in, a wetness forming on her cheeks, the literal skipping of a heartbeat in her chest causing her entire body to a fit of erratic spasms. She looked back at the counter, the ethereal mass no longer there. Her legs gave in and her face collided with the soft-oak floor. Her Damp cheeks saturating in tears of an unknown sadness.

"…"

A shallow breath creeped up Lavender's spine causing her to yelp in fright as another beat skipped on her heart. She tried to stand up but the feeling in her hind-right leg at fully abandoned her. She pushed with all the might she could muster with her remaining strength, but fatigue lit her like a stone in a puddle, her hooves crumbling like a house of cards. She opened her eyes despite not knowing they where even closed to begin with. Messages flooded the now-misty walls of the room in a deep crimson.

'Blossom'

'Wake up!'

'You are dying!'

'Please'

The rest of them where unintelligible through Lavender's blurred, tear-soaked vision. She rolled onto her back with the last of her energy gone. A shadow looked at her with its invisible eyes… the figure had returned. New walls donned the room, her room. The loose wooden floorboard was replaced with a pillow filled with soft female griffon feathers made in Eagleand. (England) the blurred face moved closer, the faint sound of static filled her ears, a lingering heat eminating from his some-what face.

A dark hoof traced its way onto her chest, lavender looked down to see her now in her legal (in Britain) sixteen-year old instead of her smaller filly frame. The hoof looked like leather, but it felt like a new dressing-gown from the shop. Soft, delicate, prici-

Her thought finished as the hoof drove its way into lavender's abdomen, making a new orifice. Blossom screamed in pain as another mini-heart attack occurred. The hoof ramming its way though her digestive track. Small fountains of blood spewed from the opening in her torso, warm, bubbling blood secreting around the invading hoof.

The hoof was warm, boiling, unbearable! It wormed itself through her small intestines, although it's was more on the lines of drilling a straight line through her mortal vessel. Her heart thumped harder and harder, her breathing erratic. The hoof stopped at the spinal cord, brushing it with the soaked appendage.

At that point it stopped. The pain, the heartbeat, the ever-expanding army on her bed known as a bloodstain. Then… a soft whimper. Lavender Blossom looked to her celling, new messages she never knew was there fading into the background, drowned out by soft wails of sadness. Blossom tried to make a frown, unable to comprehend what she should be feeling when all of a sudden the walls exploded red, the sheets catching flame, her once magnificent magenta coat now scorched in the blazing torrent of sobs and screams. Invisable arms grabbed her by the shoulders. Saying that she was shook violently would be an understatement. It was like she was lifted from her bed, cries of wake up showed her as pillars of crimson busted like zits from her walls. She now say that they where the messages. They screamed wake up as the water works broke down. Blossom cried for reasons she did not wake up. She opened her eyes once more, and felt more energy feed into her form. She turned around and wake up her body was there! She was inches away from her wake up! The creature she saw looked up at her, the smoky face of his bursting into a large maw, the beast screeching like a banshee in a twisted rhythm of Blossom, baby! Wake up for mummy! Please, just wake up! For the love of Celestia and her people, WAKE UP!!!

Blossom screamed a final scream as she felt herself fall apart and crumble into the maw. It was like water down a drain as her literal soul tore itself apart, knowing its fate if it passed the even horizon where not even Celestia herself could escape.

And down she went, with a croak, she gave in. The pain of a thousand deaths claimed her as her ethereal form was torn asunder and consumed by a creature unknown in a collapsing world of a dead girl.

Lavender Blossom parents Shady Berry and Summer Skies cried over their lifeless bastard daughter in the dark of the night.
