the More, the Merrier...

Applejack jumped out of her bed, sweating and breathing heavily. She shifts her eyes in every direction, waiting for something to pop out of one of the many crevices in her room. She was in her bed. Nothing she had in her room was moved or changed. Of course, she just woke up from a dream. The orange mare released a sigh as she realized that she already forgot what her dream was about. She yawned as she crept out of her bed and began her journey through the house to get ready for the big day.

It was the day she sold her famous apple family apple cider.

When her quest began, she ventured to her closet, and searched for her hat, finding it in her closet right where she left it. She then traveled to the bathroom, filled the sink with water, and washed the sweat off her face fur. She then fished a rubber band out of the cabinet above the sink, and began tying her mane. It was finished a few seconds after, but as she tied her tail up, the band snapped. She grabbed another, but as soon as it was wrapped around her tail, it slipped and flung itself off, completely vanishing. On her third try, it fell out of her hoof and into the sink, slowly sinking to the bottom. Applejack had a strange feeling of dread as she watched it sink.

She left, not bothering to tie her tail up or say hi, as Applebloom came in to wash her own face. She came down to find Granny and Big Mac absent from the dinning table. She looks out the kitchen window, and sees them out in the orchard gathering the last of the barrels of cider. She rushes to them, skidding to a stop. "Granny, You're gonna hurt yourself, carryin' those on your back!" Applejack said.

"I had to help gather all these since you've been slackin' off." She retorted.

"Granny, you know darn well that I've been workin' my rear off, like I do for today every year." She said, rolling her eyes.

"Every year they demand for more, so we need to work more often to satisfy them!"

"We use up nearly every apple in our orchard to get the cider they want!"

"Then we need more apples." she stated dully.

"I'm tired of this." Applejack complained. "This happens every year! Only the first few ponies in line drink all of the cider. And even though we get plenty of praise for it, we run out of it before at least 50 ponies get sat some, and they always day we've been lazy!"

"The costumer's always right, so you'd better listen to em' or they'll give a good rear's kicken'!"

"That's it!" she shouted, stomping her hooves. "I'm gonna make sure everypony get's the cider they want!"

"You'd better." the granny growled.

Big Mac spoke up. "Well, how are you gonna do that?"

"There will be a limit: Only one mug of cider per pony."

"Sounds fine to me." Big mac stated.

The look on Granny Smith's face said the opposite. There was a look of terror on all over it. "That ain't fine." she said in a hardly audible whisper. She then raised her voice. "That is absolutely horrible! Ponies from all over Equestria will swarm this farm like changlins' at a wedding!" Her volume rivaled Luna's Canterlot voice.

"Granny, calm down. They ain't gonna kill eachother or anything like that! Ponyville ain't that crazy!" She knew they weren't, but she still felt the dread that fell over her earlier. She felt her eye suddenly twitch. Granny noticed.

Her eyes widened with fear. "I saw that look." she stated. "You had the dream, didn't you?"

"Well, yeah, I had a dream, Granny. I don't know what happened though." she felt her other eye twitch. Granny saw it.

"You received the omen too." she stood completely still.

She's crazy. Apple jack thought. She believes she's some kind of oracle. "Granny, please, calm down. Me and Big Mac got this all taken care of."

"No...You don't." said Granny. "Both of your eyes twitched...I can't stop ya..."

"Granny, please just go back inside and rest." She began to usher her home. "I'm sure everypony will like the idea of getting cider."

"They won't listen..." She whipered as she wandered towards home. "This is the end of the apples..."

Applejack felt worried, seeing granny's mind slipping so soon. She sadly dragged her hooves to the stand, and put on her smile.

"All right, everypony!" she yelled, grabbing the attention of the ponies at the front of the line. "This stand is officially open!"

Everyone in line cheered and ran up to the stand. The first mare, a gray and black Pegasus, came up. "Five mugs, please." she asked as she pulled out 25 bits and placed them on the stand.

"Sorry, Moon." A.J. said taking only a fifth of the pile of bits. "Only one mug of cider per pony." She announced as she pointed to the huge sign above the stand.

Moon's pupils shrank, as well as the other ponies behind her. Their were shadowed by their bangs. Those with short manes let their faces show, and they weren't smiling. "I need cider!" Moon yelled, stomping her hoof on the counter.

Applejack got the first mug Big Mac filled up. She shoved away from her towards Moon. "There's your cider. Now, can I see whoever's next?"

Moon didn't move out of the way
