Liate Noate’s Birth

Liate Noate, a unicorn, was born in Canterlot by two loving unicorns. Liate started his studies in magic with his first crush, Twilight Sparkle. Twilight never knew, and neither did anyone else. He did talk to her time to time, but never did confess to her. They remain friends to this day. After Liate has succeeded in magic school as the top 4. He later helped his family with cooking, laundry, and getting them groceries. One evening they played music on the radio, Liate was interested and started taking music classes. He was skilled in magic, which helped him succeed in his music studies. He then performed small group parties with his music. They enjoyed it. When he had his first concert in Canterlot, he gained his cutie mark, a music note in a blue ring. He started performing more and more concerts, and releasing disks for other ponies to listen to. One day during the Summer Sun Celebration, Nightmare Moon killed his parents. Devastated, he moved to Ponyville, and that’s where his story begins.

Dust Storm’s Birth

Dust Storm, a pegasus pony, was born in Cloudsdale as an adopted foul. Nopony knows who her parents were, as she was left alone in Cloudsdale. She raised herself alone due to other pegasus ponies bullying her for her light brown coat. She was a moderate flyer, not fast like Rainbowdash, and not weak like other ponies. While having a little challenge with the wonderbolts, the pegasus’s we’re to make a tornado, and the first to make one wins. She tried, but ended up making a dust storm, which helped the crops in Appaloosa. she gained her first cutie mark, a tornado colored in a dusty color. She then started working for the wind tribe, she was instructed to help make dust storms to help crops. She was the only pony who could make dust storms, so she was paid a lot in bits. Then one day she came to lower Cloudsdale, where she met Liate Noate.

The Special Somepony

Liate and Dust started talking for a while, she told him how much she liked his music, he told her how much he liked how she helped the crops. They spent the day strolling along looking at nice scenery and then went home. The next day he asked her out on a date, so they went, had a nice time, and had their first kiss together. They went out on more and more dates, until she accepted to be his special somepony. After a couple of months, Liate started making a new song, he didn’t produce it in front of others, instead he turned it into a disk and wrapped it into a box. He then mailed it to Cloudsdale for Dust. She received it, listened to it. Liate named it “Only One Way.” Basically, in the song, Liate was proposing to her in a romantic song-like way. She was screaming yes, crying, and blushing. She flew all the way to Ponyville to his home and kissed him. They walked out to they’re little special spot in lower Cloudsdale. To their surprise, they were not the only visitors there.

The Attack

Liate was just about to put the ring on her hoof, when suddenly. Bazing! Queen Chrysalis teleported there. “Why hello you two love ponies! I’d love to thank you for my meal.” Liate stood in front of Dust Storm and he used his magic to try and attack her, but she used her magic and deflected it. Queen Chrysalis then shrouded Dust Storm and Liate Noate in magic, trying to switch their cutie marks, but Liate quickly trying to save both of them only was able to save himself, saving his cutie mark and a bit of Dust’s memory. A huge light flashed and both ponies and the same cutie marks and they lost their memories. Queen Chrysalis stole their memories for love for each other to keep for herself.

Meeting Again

Dust Storm awoke a few hours afterward with a new cutie mark, a music note in a blue ring. She got up in a pile of leaves with a painful headache. Liate awoke three hours afterward in his cottage in Ponyville. He didn’t have much of a headache, but had a sudden urge to make music, so that is what he did. He wrote tons of songs, that were sent all the way around Equestria. Liate Noate was later in Twilight’s library autographing disk cases. Twilight just sat over in the corner of the room admiring Liate. After all these years, she started to like him. When the autographing was over, she went over to kiss him on the cheek. They then went out on a date with him. Dust Storm was wandering around Ponyville at the time looking for answers of what her cutie mark meant. They accidently bumped into each other. Dust got a flashback of hugging him tightly, she presumed to do so. Liate Noate looked at her surprised, “Why did you do that?” “I-I don’t know, we just did it before.” “w-what? I have never met you, do you even know who I am? I’m the famous musician, Liate Noate.!” “I- know!” She got more flashbacks until she got all of her memories back. “Liate! I love you.” He looks at her, “I know, lots of fans love me.” He left away laughing.

Convincing Him

A few weeks later, she sees him kissing Twilight, she got so sad and started crying. Then she got an idea to break them up and try really hard to get back with him. She goes over to Zecora and pays her about 500 bits for a hating potion. He made one and then gave it to her, “If a spell is what you wish, which pony do you wish to piss?” “Twilight Sparkle please.” He looked at her weirdly, then gave her the finished potion. Afterwards she flew back ponyville and poured the potion into a cup for Twilight and a regular glass of punch for Liate. She was warned the the spell would only last for 2 minutes, probably enough if you were to break them up. He gave them the drinks and watched as Twilight lashed out at him and left. Liate Noate started to cry, but Dust went to Liate and held him in her hooves. Liate leaned against her, she put her wings around him and comforted him.

Getting Him Back

After they went back to his cottage she started telling him all the stories of their times together and how they loved each other so much. She then played the disk she gave him. He then started remembering everything. They went to Princess Twilight Sparkle and started having a huge conversation on how they got their cutie marks duplicated. Twilight started explaining.

The Cutie Mark Switching Spell

Twilight explained that Queen Chrysalis placed a spell that was supposed to switch their cutie marks, making them weak which would alter end up killing them. Since Liate protected himself, he was able to protect himself, so Dust storm was the only one affected. If he was  affected she would’ve been able to reverse it. Now all she could do is give Dust a one way chance. She would have to have her cutie mark removed and regain her cutie mark. Rainbowdash was there and reminded her that another Wonderbolt’s challenge was tomorrow morning. So she had her cutie mark removed and stayed with Liate. Then Twilight guided her to Cloudsdale to help her get her old cutie mark back. She flew around in the same circles that she did earlier and made that same dust cloud that she made when she was a little pony. She gained her old cutie mark back and flew down to Liate and kissed him.

A Happy Ending

They went to The town hall in Ponyville and got married. They lived in his cottage and have kept their jobs. Liate and Dust make songs together and Liate helps Dust with crop helping. They haven’t had any fouls yet but plan to. They live together and have lived happily ever after.
