Twilight sparkle was enjoying her day sitting in a chaise with a cup of tea in one hoof and a book in the other titled "The history of equestria" her favorite book.Spike came running down the stairs of the peaceful library and tripped over his tail on the way.Twilight asked "Spike what are you in a rush for?" he was holding a scroll in his claws he said "Twilight its a urgent letter from princess celestia!" Twilight dropped her tea and book on the floor and took the scroll then said "thank you spike" then he ran back upstairs tripping once or twice. Twilight opened the scroll reading Twilight there is a important emergency I need you to come to my castle at once  -C Twilight did not have any idea what the problem was nor what was happening so she said her farewell to spike and flew off.

Finally at the castle Twilight rushed in and saw celestia and with a worried and slightly exhausted voice said "is everything alright? I heard there was a emergency are you ok?" celestia walked over to twilight and said "follow" twilight did. They slowly went to a wall twilight thought why are we at a wall? celestias horn then shimmered and the wall opened to reveal a basement. Twilight and celestia walked down and when they got down there was books with different shapes, covers and sizes they all looked dusty and old.In the middle of the room there was a giant crystal and a label marked Time Crystal Twilight kept following celestia stopped again at a cage above was a sign that said Do Not Enter! Twilight gulped then Celestia gave a re-assuring smile and unlocked it and went in twilight followed celestia went down a isle of books and pulled out the book with her magic she very carefully took the book with her magic a gold glow surrounding the book.

The book was black with a red rim and a glowing rose symbol on the front Twilight felt a shiver go down her back when they left the cage.She brought the book to a table and told twilight to sit and she did celestia whispered a few words then the book glowed dark red the color of blood then opened celestia said "Twilight there is a very powerful force existing in this world a fast,strong, and wise force that is immortal and almost un-stoppable do you know what these creatures are twilight?" Twilight nodded "Vampires" twilight said

Celestia spoke softly like somepony was watching "yes I need you to stop them you posses a power I do not the power to touch the dark " Twilight asked "wait what? touch the dark?" celestia nodded and said " I am pure light I can not go near darkness for I will die but you are not dark or light you are special and can destroy them which is why you are here you see that crystal over there can let you see and go in to the future I looked to see if there would be a great future but when I looked I was dead so was luna a pony named Vinyl scratch happens to be a vampire she took over everyone a vampire no regular pony left so you see I need you to go to the future and stop the darkness that lurks I will send you a little before the end so you will still have to be quick and swi-" twilight then said " what if I cant do it what if I dont come back alive what if I die but what if I do get turned I dont want to loose you!"  Celestia then gave twilight a hug "you will be fine " Then when celestia was done hugging her there was a necklace on her with a cross "this will protect you I will send you there in one minute are you ready" twilight spoke "yes" then the crystal started glowing and gleaming then twilight was gone celestia was now crying " be careful my faithful student " Twilight opened her eyes and saw a pony attacking another biting down on there neck with blood flowing out the pony was rainbow dash she was crying and kicking her hooves with all her might but then she froze and her head fell on the ground and with a smash her head was bleeding twilight was crying and whispered "I am in the future of blood..."
