It was a cold Christmas Eve in Equestria, just a week after Hearth's Warming Eve, December 17th. Everypony was relaxing with no worries of decorations since they were put up on Hearth's Warming Eve. Stallions were drinking beer and watching sports at bars, while mares were tucking their fillies in to bed, as they hoped that Santa Pony would stop. The Mane 6 were having a slumber party at the Friendship Rainbow Kingdom Castle. They were really excited, but weren't sleeping in their beds, they were finishing their Christmas gift shopping and wrapping them up. When they were all in the castle, they were given different jobs.

'Alright girls, there's still a lot more to do. Pinkie Pie, you leave out the cookies and milk for Santa Pony.' Said Twilight.

'Oky Doky Loky, Twilight! I'll leave out 4 Oreos, 8 Chocolate Chip Cookies, maybe 6 Gingerbread Men and about 5 Peanut Bu-' Pinkie said until she was interrupted by Applejack. 'Pinkie, maybe one of each is fine!'. 'Ok, besides, we wouldn't want his sleigh to fall due to all the weight he would carry!' Pinkie said back.

'As for you, Applejack, you cook all the dinners and treats.' Twilight continued.

'Don't worry Twilight, why the Apple family makes a great Deep-Fried Hay Leg (Equestria's version of ham) that you will love!' Applejack said as she ran to the kitchen.

'Rarity, could you go put all the wrapped gifts under the tree? And don't think about peeking at your gifts.' Twilight asked Rarity.

'Sure, and I won't peek!' Rarity said.

'Fluttershy, you hang the stockings and Rainbow Dash, you go lay out the table for tomorrow.' Twilight said.

'What?! Why do I have to lay out the table? Make Fluttershy do that!' Rainbow Dash shouted at Twilight.

'Because Fluttershy is hanging the stockings.'Twilight said back. Rainbow Dash groaned and went to get the cutlery. Fluttershy went and hung the stockings. As the ponies were heading to bed, they heard Rainbow Dash say something. 'What are you guys doing?! We have to see Santa Pony!'.

'Why? Santa Pony only comes when your asleep.' Twilight said.

'But we need to! When I was in Flight Camp, Gilda told me there was no such thing as Santa, and ever since, I've been trying to capture him to prove he exists!' Rainbow Dash said.

'Wouldn't that get you on the Naughty List for kidnapping him, silly?' Pinkie Pie laughed. Rainbow Dash started getting a temper. 'But we need to! I need to prove it to her, especially after the last time I met her!'

'Um, are you OK, Rainbow Dash? I don't want you to get mad.' Said Fluttershy. 'Yes! I'm fine! Just please stay up with me until we catch him! I promise it will be tonight!' Rainbow Dash said back.

'And promise this will be the only time?' Said Applejack. 'Yes, I promise!' Rainbow Dash said.

'OK Rainbow Dash, we'll stay up with you.' Said Twilight.

"Oh yeah girls, Operation: Capture Santa Pony!' Said Rainbow Dash.
