Twilight Sparkle has had an affinity for magic for as long as she can remember. She loves experimenting with it, and discovering new things she can do. Sometimes, something goes wrong.

But never quite this badly.

When an underestimated teleportation spell leaves Twilight stranded halfway across the universe on an unfamiliar planet, she finds herself in a struggle to survive as she desperately looks for a way back home. Many of the planet's inhabitants try to kill or capture her, and only a precious few are willing to offer help, so getting back to Equestria is a task easier said than done.

Meanwhile, her friends (and her marefriend, Rainbow Dash) are beside themselves in panic, and as they try to piece together what happened to her, they run into another problem...

(Note: although this story includes TwiDash, I don't think the romance tag is really warranted as it's not the primary focus of the plot. Hehe, plot. That said, this story includes TwiDash. If you have a problem with that, well... that's your problem, I guess.)
