There is a town, not very far away from Ponyville, that has been forgotten. Oh, you must know the story. You don't? Well its time you've learned. Once a pon a time, there was a filly named Emerald. She had all a little filly of the age of three could ask for. She had a emerald mane and a light-lime colored coat, she also had blue eyes. There was one problem, however. She was forgotten. She was forgotten by her mother and father, she was forgotten by all the foals in neighborhood, and she was even forgotten by the two maids that lived in her house. She had tried to get their attention, she tried to be a very good filly at first. She also tried to be a very bad filly, too, but nothing worked. She often wondered why, just why everyone in the whole world seemed to be ignoring her. She had no pony to keep away the monsters, or to kiss her goodnight. She felt alone.

One night, before she went to bed, Emerald saw a beautiful star that shined brighter then the others. She remembered a nursery ryime and wished, wished, and wished harder than most fillies would. She wished, "Please..." And at midnight, maybe a few seconds before, her wish came true. She had wished for a friend that would never abandon her. What she got was a small dragon she named Scales. Scales was a red dragon with white on his belly and orange eyes and back scales. Scales kept away the monsters as they made up stories and laughed and played. Emerald had much fun with Scales, but soon he became less entertaining. She one day figured out he could not love her by his own will, he also had to do whatever she said. This made her sad, but then thought about that wretched feeling of being alone and thought this would be better. In the end she was happy to have scales, and she kept him a secret.

One day, during their pillow fight, one of the maids, that never talked to her, said, "Oh darling! Wonderful news! Your mother will be having a filly! You'll have a sister soon!" And just as quickly as she came in, the maid left. No, this was not good. This was not wonderful, how could her parents abandon her for another filly! She got so mad she screamed and screamed. All the time she screamed, Scales grew bigger and uglier the more she screamed, soon he grew bigger than the house and started wrecking the house and killing everyone inside. He then went into the town and killed everyone, with no mercy. When he was done, Emerald stopped screaming. Who would ever love her now. Scales came back and grew to his normal size and Emerald saw that same star. She wished just as hard and said, "Please..." Her wish came true at midnight, maybe a few second before. Then, she and scaled started to get dim and disappeared into the night sky. Some people still swear they can hear a, "Please..." In the wind. The End.
