Chapter 1: Crash Landing

"Crew..." A soft voice rang in the human's head. He opened his eyes, half lidded. "Wake up you stupid human."

Crew groaned at his AI, the soft voice in his head. "Make me..." He said.

While he never understood how a robot could sigh, but she did. "As you wish Crew." Suddenly he felt his heart start to beat faster, and he was forced to take a deep breath in. "Are you awake now Crew?"

Crew coughed the air out of his lungs as he fell on to the floor in shock. He stood up to look in his mirror and saw his eyes were glowing purple. "Enough Alice..." He said. "I told you not to do that anymore..."

She 'humfed'. "Then don't say 'make me', and I won't. It is my duty and programming that-"

"Blah-blah-blah!" He shook his head, falling back on to his soft bed, thankfully it was still warm. "Dad didn't have to put those things in me you know? Send him another mail telling how I'm 'enjoying' the smart ass voice who can kill me if she wanted to..." He rested his hands on his face and made a fake cry of distress. "Why dad! Whyyyyy~!"

"Shut up already!" Alice shouted in his head, causing Crew to grab his head in pain. Whenever she shouted, it was like having an air horn go off right next to his ear drums. "Let me read out the list of things you need to do today before you go see your father at PannCo."

Crew waved his hand. "Go on...lets get this over with..."

"Today: You need to do your laundry, eat that turkey burger that's been sitting in the fridge for the past two days, mail your father about how much you hate going to his meetings, and run the final checks on...ugh...Franky..." If one could hear the disgust in her voice, it was like walking through a meat packing factory, and not the clean side either. "I still do not understand why you wish to name every machine you come across. I only choose to answer by your reference name because I can't do anything about it...but your jet? Come on?!"

Crew winced. "Alright-alright....stop yelling Ally..." He stood up from his bed. "Do you think dad will be mad at me if I bought a field of weed?"

"Wasting money is a bad idea Crew. What if...Franky needs a new dash panel? Or a new paint job?"

Crew rolled his eyes, walking out to do his morning chores and what-not. As he was walking down the halls of his home, he hummed a song he once heard before. He couldn't remember the name, neither did Alice, but the tune was enough to wash away the morning feelings.

The sun was now shining in the sky, sitting happily at the eight'o clock position and not a cloud was in the sky. He smiled to himself. "Perfect..."

Alice would have nodded in agreement. "Being with you for the past six years Crew, they've taught me one thing: Everyday is new."

"That it is Alice." He turned from is backdoor window-door.

His home was located on an isolated island, which made it easy to take off and fly for miles and miles. His father was the founder of PannCo. A internet service provider that basically owned everything that had to do with the internet. He spent millions on research for Nanotech and Biotech to improve his only son Crew. His name was Baron, not the most inviting name, but the man was or could be described as Jesus.

He spent more than billions to improve the global economy. Trillions more just to fund more 'science stuff' as Crew had described it. No one knew why he was so giving with the money he had, but no one really cared too much. World Peace was actually an idea that could be seen.

While Crew was an only child, he was far from alone. Alice was a massive group of controlled self-replicating nanites that was inside of his entire body. She was able to create more of herself, given he had enough iron, gold, and copper in his bloodstream. She could heal him without causing cancer to form in his cells. He was, in a way, a god, at least he thought that much. He could still age, but with 2021 medications, he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

"If I may ask. Why do you want to buy a field of 'weed'?"

Crew shrugged and laughed a little. "Because I want to find ways for my father to disown me."

"You know that will be hard to do. Your father loves you very much, and is the only family you have alive." A painful memory of his mother dying in a plane crash flashed. He too was on the plane, but Alice kept him alive long enough for doctors to help him. He looked down sadly. "I-I'm sorry Crew..."

He walked to a mirror to check himself out. He could have looked better, his blond hair was in a disarray, and his blue eyes had two small bags under them. "It's fine." Crew said in a serious tone. "Can you do something-" He motioned down his body. "-about this yet? You download that update?"

"I have, but you look better like this." She giggled. "Besides, you need to hurry. It's already nine."

Crew sighed. "You're killing me here Alice...." He turned away into the kitchen. After a rough search, he found nothing he considered edible other than that turkey burger he just didn't want to heat up. "I think a trip to the mainland is in order."

"Can you take a boat this time? You can't get as much with your jet."

Crew smiled. "Well....I ccccoooouuuullldddd, but jets are more fun."

"I want to smack you. Remind me later when you're fast asleep, to give you the worst adrenaline rush a human could have."

Crew scratched his chin while looking for his pilot's suit and helmet. "Maybe, but we could knock out two birds with one stone with this one."

"Oh?" Alice asked.

"Yeah, Franky needs a test run before we go fly for the StupidBowl. So while we're out, do a few quick tests, and go shopping for more filly cheese steak Hotpockets and some Tang." He smiled at himself. "I'm so smart."

"With me, yes, without, you are as dumb as a brick."

When he found his suit he just started throwing his clothes off to the side. He winked. "Love ya Ally."

"Shut up human..."

"Oh, ow, my feelings."

"What feelings?"

He blinked. "Oh! Right! I don't have any!" He started to laugh and Alice joined in. "Anyhoo, we should get going." Crew zipped up the coat and picked his helmet up.

"Let me prepare my systems for ASM for Franky." There was a long beep followed by a wirl. "Alright, Franky's engines are heating up."

"Thanks." He jumped into a sprint outside. There was a mile long pathway down from his front door to his hanger which was located near the beach.

Alice kept his oxygen levels at their maximum which helped with his body's aerobic respiration, preventing anaerobic respiration from creating harmful lactic acids building up. She also pushed out carbon-dioxide so it wouldn't cause any damages. His whole body was fit, but it still required some assistance to maintain the sprint down to the hanger.

A large smile was on Crew's face. Every time he went to his hanger, a bird he noticed many times before flew above him once again. He looked up at it and waved his hand at it. It made a loud cry before shooting onward ahead where he would meet it once again.

"That bird is so strange." Alice commented.

"Does it matter Alice? It's a bird!"

"Would you like wings too?" She asked him, knowing his answer. "Too bad I can't make them. You don't drink enough milk too make up for the calcium needed to build new bones."

As the pathway began to curve he started to hoop-and-holler. "WOO!" He sped himself up, running as fast as his body could move his legs. There was a small ditch ahead he never felt like filling. His eyes narrowed and he grinned. When he felt like he got close enough, he jumped. However, his timing was never always right, and he ended up under shooting it and tripped over the other side and hitting the ground hard.

Alice mock laughed at him for his fail. "You ate shit..."

Crew got up and brushed the dirt off his suit. "Well, that ruined the moment..." He decided against running again, instead taking it a bit slower. He wasn't far now, maybe a quarter of a mile left to walk, perfect to let his heart rate drop a little.

The pathway he walked had a roof of leaves from the trees around him. His home was on a small island about six by eight miles in area. His house rested on a large hill that gave him a good view of the entire island. Most of the island was covered in a dense forest, but behind his house, maybe two miles away was his very own solar farm with twenty-six solar panels generating power. The pathway he was walking on was made of cobblestone, the ditch was caused by small flood during the last raining season. The ground became too wet and the stones sunk into the ground.

When he arrived at the hanger he saw the ice-blue jet sitting proud on the runway. It's hatch sun orange opened remotely by Alice, and an extendable and retractable ladder moved down to the ground. In his mind, Crew was thinking of Fire and Ice.

"An interesting song choice Crew...However, I do not think it is fitting as you might think."

He waved his hand to Franky. "Look at my jet, and tell me that again Alice."

She didn't anything for a few moments. Then, he could hear a sigh. "Shut up, and get in the damn machine human."

Whenever she got mad at Crew, Alice called him human. This told him that he had earned a victory against machines everywhere. He smiled as he hopped into the cockpit. He put his hands on the controls, feeling the hum of the jet engine as it waited for him to drive it into the sky.

"She's feeling fine..." He said with his eyes closed. There was something and him with machines. He could hear if it was broken or breaking. Whether it was happy to see him or not. "The air pressure's a little off Alice, do you think you could fix that?"

"On it, just a moment." She went to work, fixing the air intake. Instantly Crew felt the engine hum at a more even pace. "How's that?"

He waited to reply, wanting to make sure it didn't start back again to the weirder humming. A grin across his face, he said, "Wonderful Alice, thank you very much. She seems better now. Run full diagnostics, ten seconds."

"Right!" He could hear a happy tone in her voice. Crew knew very well that Alice loved to be praised for her work, quite a personality she had. As he waited he closed the hatch, and saw a full rainbow out in the distance. It was only to top of it, but it was a huge rainbow. "She's ready to go!"

"Everything's functional?"

"At one-hundred percent! Energy levels are max, hydrogen fuel is at max, wings stabilized."

Crew put on his air mask, and strapped himself into the seat. "Contact mainland, tell them I'll be arriving within an hour at sound."

"In a rush?"

He nodded and laughed. "I want to go back to sleep."

"Lazy bum...I'm on it."

Crew chuckled as he set the throttle up. As he moved down the runway, he felt a tingle in his back. Alice had said it was just the jet, but he thought differently. He thought it was strange to feel it as he did. It made him jump a little in his seat, surely the jet didn't cause this. Crew went on with the lift off anyways, really wanting to go back to sleep.

A few minutes later, once he got to cruising altitude, he leaned back in his chair. Thinking once again on the strange feeling he had a few moments ago.

"Are you sure everything's fine Alice?" He asked her, a slight hint of worry in his voice. "That hasn't happened before..."

She hummed, checking over everything once again. "Strange, there's actually an energy serge two miles north of here. Try going sound and getting away from that."

Crew looked out over to the full rainbow. It would be cool to reach sound as he passed through it. He leaned forward in his seat, and pushed it. Accelerating at a rapid pace, he felt the Gs push against him, which made him want to push for more. The more Gs, the better. He wanted to feel the air try to slow him down, but he wasn't having that. He looked over to a small red switch to the left of him. He flipped up the glass case, and turned the switch on.

The jet engines wined into overdrive, and the jet jumped. Already Crew was near the speed of sound, or 'sound' he called it. The air around the cone was starting to move closer to the wings. The speed dial told him he was reaching it, just in time too.

He heard the crack of the barrier snapping behind him as he was only about a mile away from the rainbow. Then, he felt the weird energy again, his eyes opened wide as he tired slowing down. He knew something was wrong! He tried to pull up, but he was too late. His jet jumped in a wrong way, as he cross through it. What he saw then was shocking to say the least.

From being in the middle of open ocean, he was now falling towards a massive white castle resting on an even larger mountain. He couldn't get a handle on his controls.

"ALICE! HELP!" He tried hitting the eject button, but it wasn't working. It must have been jammed by the jump.

"WORKING ON IT!" She shouted back. She started to use all of her processing power to remotely turn the jet, but none of the transponders were working. "Crew! I want you to lean to the left and stay there."

Crew did as he was told, and asked. "We're going to crash!"

"Don't worry! I'll save you!" He heard her say before everything went black from shock.

Only seconds before...

"That was another wonderful performance Rainbow Dash." Celestia said with a warm smile as they and the other Elements of Harmony walked into to castle's throne room. Luna was happily talking with Fluttershy quietly. "Seeing you perform the Sonic Rainboom is truly amazing, I do not think it shall ever get old for me."

Rainbow Dash paused in midstep to stand proudly. "Heck yeah Princess!"

She laughed warmly, then her ears turned towards a strange sound. Everyone then had seemed to notice it. "PRINCESS! GET DOWN!" A guard shouted, flying into the room.

Her reaction was instant with a solar shield, Luna followed with a Aegis Shield, a favorite of hers. They waited only two seconds before the wall  to the right of them blew open as a massive blue metal object crashed through it. Rocks of marble and shards of stained glass were incinerated on impact of Celestia's Solar Shield.

Everyone had their eyes closed until they knew the dust had settled. The shields dropped in suite.

"Is everypony alright?" Celestia asked worry in her voice.

"We're fine." Twilight said, looking to her friends, but it seemed as though Fluttershy had fainted from the shock. "Shaken, but not stirred."

All three princesses looked over to the massive blue object made of metal. "What in mother's name?" Luna asked, angry that her wonderful conversation was interrupted by this blue thing crashing into their castle, their throne room no less!

Twilight ran towards it where she saw orange stained glass. Being one to find answers, she believed she found it, but what she saw was something she had never seen before. Something was sitting inside a small space with two chairs. It wasn't moving either.

"Princess!" She cried. "There's some kind of creature in here! I don't think it's fine!"

Celestia ran towards where Twilight was, and saw something inside. "I think we need a medical team! FAST!" She yelled in her royal voice. Then she looked back inside the metal thing. Using a spell to see if it was alive, she found that whatever was inside of it, had something inside of the living creature. All she could tell were very, very small metal balls inside of him. Thousands at least, more than she was old. They were doing something, acting as though a very powerful healing spell. Her eyes narrowed. "It's powerful...No creature this size could heal so quickly..."

Twilight did the same spell and got the same results and more. "Princess, it doesn't have any magic! I don't think that's possible!"

Celestia turned to the massive hole in the throne room's wall. Her eyes widening. "Such destruction..." He turned back to the creature inside the cause of the destruction. "Twilight, please help me get this creature out of....whatever this is."

Twilight nodded, and both powered up their horns. First they pulled the glass shield off, and lifted it up. Right as they set him down on the ground, laying as flat as possible, a group of unicorn doctors ran into the throne room. First they saw the damage that was done, then saw the princesses standing over a creature who had blood spilling out of it's nose.

"What is it?" One asked.

"Doctor Stable Heart, thank you for arriving so swiftly. We do not know what happened other than this creature inside of that-" She pointed to the blue object. "-and we do not know if it will survive. It is healing, but there is much damage done to it's body."

Stable Heart did a quick medical scan. He found that there were a few things odd about the creature. It was much like a monkey, but the spine and skull were not as fine as it's. He scanned deeper, his horn glowing brighter. His bones were broken, many of them were, but the area where its vital organs were healing at nearly impossible rates!

Stable looked at the princess, shock written on his face. "P-princess, it will live. From what I see, its healing is amazingly fast. IMPOSSIBLE EVEN!" He looked down at it, still in shock. "This is strange as nothing has ever had this ability. However, we might need to take it to the hospital. From what I found, the minerals in its body are being used faster as well. We'll need to IV it until it wakes."

She nodded sternly. "Then do so at once."

He bowed, and teleported out with the other doctors. Celestia turned to the Elements with a frown. "I'm sorry girls. As much as I had enjoyed our little get-together, it seems issues have come up."

"That's a bit of an understatement Sister." Luna said looking to Fluttershy. "Poor girl...she might as well be out until it wakes up too."

Celestia nodded and said, "You all may stay until things have calmed down. We might need you if this turns to be a threat."

"As you wish Princess!" Twilight bowed. "I'm just glad Spike's at the castle..."

Rarity put a hoof on Twilight's shoulder. "Everything's going to be fine darling. Just you wait."

"I sure hope so..."

Unknown to everyone else, Rainbow Dash was still staring at the metal object. She could feel the heat around it from a glowing red bit at the back of it. There were wings on it too, fins at the back too. Her eyes narrowed, "This thing flew in here..." This didn't seem good at all.

Chapter 2: Celestial Greetings and Happy Memories

It was two days waiting in the IC room for the creature to wake up. So far, he had no signs of waking, and there was a good chance that the crash put him into a coma. Celestia sat there, for two days, and possibly more, waiting. It was strange for Luna to see her sister just sit there, staring at the creature as it was sleeping soundly. She had been watching her sister do this. Spending sixteen hours a day, watching it.

Luna had enough. She stepped into the room, a tray in her magical grasp with a slice of banana bread and a glass orange juice. Celestia looked away for a moment and flashed a smile at her sister.

"Hello Luna." She greeted her, then turned her attention back to the creature.

"Sister...I wish to know why you stay here watching it. It worries the Elements of Harmony, and I to see you like this."

Celestia sighed sadly. "I fear it isn't going to wake up Luna."

"Is that all?"

She shook her head. "Spells were cast hours later after the crash. Reports of high surges of magic used and speeds that only Rainbow Dash has been able to achieve..." She took the glass and drank a few gulps of it, leaving it half empty. "When it crashed through the castle, guards reported more damages. Two houses had metal bits recovered from walls from the object it was in."

"Was anypony hurt?"

"Thankfully no. Some citizens were able to act quickly and teleport anypony that was in danger, out of it." She sighed, taking a few moments to think more. "Where has this thing come from? I have never  seen such a being before in my life or while you were away."

"Truly?" Luna looked at it with a questioning glace. "Anyways, Sister you must leave him be."

Suddenly the heart monitor shot in it's pulses. The creature shot up, sitting up right. "FUCK!" He yelled.

"Fuck?" Both of the princesses asked, looking at it.

It looked around for a moment. "Alice? Where are we?" He was quiet for a moment. "Yeah I see the two horses, clearly I'm dreaming."

Luna frowned. "I assure you, you are not dreaming creature. And who is this Alice you are speaking to? We do not see anypony else here other than us."

It's eyes widened. "Alice...?" Worry was starting to spike up in his voice, it was shaking, and the monitor started to beep faster again. "WHAT!? NO-NO-NO!" He jumped out of the bed, but was pushed back down. "AH! HELP!"

Celestia moved first to calm him down. "Please little one, you must calm down." It stopped screaming, but it was clear he was already in shock. "Please, we will not hurt you if you will just please calm down." Her voice was calm, and a soft smile was on her lips.

He seemed to pause for a moment, but his eyes still showed much fear. "W-where a-am-m I?" He asked. "How are you talking!?"

"First, you are in a land called Equestria. Second, we are the rulers of said land. As far as I am aware, everypony can talk. Now, may I ask you two questions?" It nodded. "Can you please tell us who you are, your name and race perhaps?"

He took a deep breath, looking down at his hands. "M-my name is Crew Michael Walker, I go by Crew. As for my race...Human, or Homosapian."

"You are a monkey?" Luna asked, raising a brow in question.

He shook his head slowly. "No...well...thanks to millions of years of evolution, we aren't anymore." He pointed to his bright sky blue eyes. "These aren't solid brown like regular monkeys are they?"

"I suppose not, but they are beautiful I must say. Your mane is also pretty too." Celestia said.

"Humans call it hair, but whatever..." He shrugged. Celestia could tell he was much calmer now.

Celestia thought once again for a few moments. "I have a few more questions to ask. Then you may rest again."

"Shoot." He sat down on the bed now that he was released from whatever was holding him. Crew frowned. "Shut it Alice..."

"Again, who is this Alice?" Luna asked once again. "We would like to know."

"Yes, that will be my first question. Who is this Alice you are talking to?"

"You want a long and complex explanation or a simple and quick one?"

"Quick would be nice." Celestia nodded.

"There's another person inside of me who can heal me, keep my body in tip-top shape, and a few other cool things. Like tell me where my Jet is and how it is doing." He looked little sad there for a moment. "She's beat up I can tell."

"Alice, or the Jet you call it?"

"Jet, she's damaged bad, but if I can find a few parts to replace the broken ones, I can put her back into the air."

"And, can this Jet fly at high speeds?"

"She is the fastest Jet made by humans, well me anyways. I always loved them as a kid. Grew up learning everything about its parts and how they function together. I call her Franky-shut it Alice-and her model is Omega-420. Her top speed is mock two point five. That's two and a half times the speed that sound can travel."

Luna's jaw had dropped in shock, while her elder sister's eyes were wide open. "T-that fast?" Celestia asked.

"Yep....hey, wait!" He paused looking at the bed for a moment. "Yeah, Alice wan'ts to know what your names are."

"I am Princess Celestia, Diarch of Equestia and Harbinger of the Sun."

Luna sat proudly as she spoke her title. "And I am Princess Luna, Diarch of Equestria and Harbinger of the Moon. Greetings. Do you have a title?"

Crew sat quietly for a moment, staring nowhere again. When he seemed to come back, he nodded. "I do...I am Ace Crew Michael Walker, Son of the Baron of the Interweb Network Company called PannCo. In short terms. I am the son of one of the most powerful humans ever to be alive. I could make kings fall into bankruptcy if I ever feel threatened."

"And do you?" Celestia asked.

He laughed a little and shrugged. "Okay, the king part was a stretch but with a little work, I'm sure it could happen."

"I knew you were jesting."

"Jest-?" He paused. "Oh! Old English speaker?"

"Old English? Nigh! It is Old Equestian."

"She's getting out of that, I'm sorry if her words may ever confuse you Ace Crew."

"Just Crew would be nice Celestia."

Luna narrowed her eyes. "Use her title..."

He shook his head. "I'm sorry Luna. Where I come from, we don't have a king, queen, prince or princess. Our land is Diplomatic and we elect our leaders. We do not even use their titles when speaking to them unless it is a formal greeting like 'Mr. President' or 'sir'." Crew stopped her from speaking by putting up his hand. "I already know what you're going to say Luna. And no...I will not. If there is one thing that I will ever follow it is laws, not titles. Titles mean absolutely nothing to me."

"But you are rich are you not?"

"Rich, not greedy Celestia. I don't even want my father's money, but I have it anyways." Celestia was starting to get a little tired of him freezing up when this 'other person' is talking to him. "Right, anyways I'm sure there's one more important question that you'd like to ask right?"

She nodded. "Yes, actually two if you don't mind." He shook his head with a kind smile. "Are you going to attack any of our subjects?"

"I will not cause harm to any whom don't deserve it Celestia. You have my word. If I feel threatened, I can, and will defend myself regardless of any law you have that can stop me."

"And If I?" He nodded gravely and she sighed. "Alright, fine then last question then you may rest Crew. How old are you in terms of three hundred and sixty-five day years?"

"Twenty-five and I guess in two months twenty-six. But I'm sure by then I would have found a way home." He smiled to himself and nodded.

Celestia stood and looked to her sister. "Luna, we must go by our word. Let's leave him to rest."

"Actually, I'm fine. Alice says I'm fine enough to run a marathon."

"Marathon? What is that?"

"A twenty-four and a half mile run." He shrugged. "I think it's pretty cool ya'know? Alice does a great work with taking care of me."

"Can this Alice speak for herself?" Luna asked.

"She could, and would if she had enough energy to do so." He said sadly. "She did a number on herself trying to keep my vitals up...Sorry Ally..."

"A nickname for her?" Celestia asked.

"Ish, but yeah. AI like her are rare and very expensive. She tolerates it because she needs me and I need her."

"Need?" Luna asked. "Why is that?"

Crew looked dark for a second, then looked at the princesses, his eyes showing hate. "Get out..." He laid down on the bed, looking out the window. "Leave me alone..."

Luna opened her mouth to say something, but Celestia shook her head. "As you wish Crew. Have a good rest, I will return later to see how you are feeling."

"...Alright..." He said quietly.

As the princesses exited the room, Celestia felt like giving a long sigh of relief and added stress. "Luna...please watch what you say around him."

"I only asked why he needed this Alice." Luna said softly. "It was like I had castrated him..."

"Luna...perhaps there are things where he is from that requires her to be with him. I've cast a spell on the chair to listen to him whenever I need. For now, we need to wait to see if he will do anything worth noting."

"As you wish Sister, but I do not like how he speaks to us. It is like he holds no respect to anypony who's higher than himself."

Celestia scratched her chin. "Yes, he does seem to carry that attitude doesn't he...? Another question for another time I suppose. Now, we must go tell the Elements that our human is awake."

And as they began walking, Celestia was thinking about the human. He was strange, and didn't seem more than just another one of her subjects. She could understand how he would feel frightened speaking to something so new, so power, speaking to a goddess was no small feat. Why he was so defensive about Luna asking him why he needed Alice brought up more questions.

What could have caused him to feel so angry about someone asking him such a simple question. It confused her. Alice seemed nice, she kept him alive and only hurt herself in the process of saving his life. Maybe, this Alice was more to him than just a person. Maybe, he loved her. She chuckled to herself at the thought. When Luna asked about it, Celestia just waved a hoof, saying it was nothing. How could one love who is inside of them.

She blushed up. No, I must not think like that! Her blush was sustained with even more thoughts. She shook her head to the point her crown fell off. No! Not like that! Surely they are just friends or partners like a pair of guards! This seemed to ease her blush, but her face was still a little red.

Luna looked at her sister pick her crown back off the ground and rest it back on her head. She tried asking why she was blushing so much, but she waved it off again. Deciding to ask about it later, Luna just shrugged. She just wanted to see her friends again and get back to work. It was close to five, so it was still another hour until she was needed to raise the moon.

They were entering the castle once again, hopefully for the last time for the day. Luna had been in and out trying to deal with the nobles complaining about their homes having holes in their walls and roofs. Others were asking about why there was still that large metal object they now assumed was Crew's Jet named Franky. Luna was just happy to be back in her home again, no matter how badly it looked in the throne room, the castle still seemed to show its marvelous glow.

When Luna saw Fluttershy walking with Rarity in the halls, Luna bid her sister farewell until dinner was ready. She ran down the hall until she caught up with her friends.

"Greetings little friends of mine!" Luna smiled happily.

"You seem in quite the good mood princess- I mean, Luna." Rarity said. "Any reason?"

"Sister and I have spoken to the creature who calls himself Crew Michael Walker. It is a hairless ape!"

"Oh my!" Fluttershy gasped sadly. "What happened to it!?"

"I do not believe that it being hairless is a defect of any kind dearest Fluttershy, but a part of who his kind is."

"O-oh, I guess that's okay then. How is it?"

"It tells us because of another, he will be or is fine now and at his peak of health." Luna answered. "It is good that he made a full recovery, but it hurt this Alice he speaks of."

"Who's Alice, Luna?" Rarity asked.

"Tia and I believe it is a creature of tiny masses around and inside his body. It is how he can heal so quickly, but healing him after his crash took a toll on her."

"How can we help her if we cannot help this creature?" Fluttershy asked quietly.

"He did not give us much information about this Alice friend, but tomorrow in the morn we will return to speak to him to ask him more of her and how we might be able to assist both of them."

"I-is it alright....if I come too?....If that's alright with you Luna..."

Luna smiled with a nod. "Of course Fluttershy. Maybe you could do a little check-up on him to make sure he is fit to leave the hospital. You do know what a monkey's biology is right?"

"Of course!" Fluttershy said, her voice rising a little higher in volume. "Is there anything I should know about him before I see him. Anything that he isn't could harm him in anyway we might not be aware of! I don't want to hurt the poor thing."

"He says that his kind have evolved from sapiens. His spine is straighter and his skull isn't as crude."

Fluttershy sat still for a few moments, and then nodded. "Alright, I think I have a good idea. I will please tell me when you are ready to leave."

"Fluttershy are you sure you want to do this? What if he is dangerous?" Rarity asked, looking to Luna. "Is he Luna?"

She shook her head. "He has made a vow that he would not harm another unless another harms him. And you will have us there if he does do anything to break his vow. Though his name means nothing here, we must give him some trust if he is going to trust us in return."

Rarity sighed. "Okay Luna...I just don't want Fluttershy getting hurt, that is all."

"And I thank you for your concern Rarity." Fluttershy said with a kind smile. Her belly had made a rather loud noise, causing a could guards close by to look at the yellow mare with looks of shock before laughing.

Luna and Rarity started to giggle, and Fluttershy was hiding behind her long mane. Luna hugged the shy pony before saying, "It is alright Fluttershy, we haven't eaten all day either. Come, let us aid you in sating that beast inside your stomach." The joke was clear enough to make the shy pony laugh a little, coming out of her mane. "Ah, there is that beautiful face we all enjoy seeing." Fluttershy blushed a little.

Back in the hospital, Crew was still staring out of the window, but after the princesses had left, he started to cry. Alice, who was weak was unable to say much, leaving long spaces in conversations afterwards.

He looked down at his hands. They were still there, he could still see. That much he was thankful for.

"Crew..."

"Alice, rest you used a lot."

"You will need to tell them sooner or later."

"No..."

He could hear her huff. "Stupid....human..."

Crew, closed his eyes and gave a long sigh. His ears were picking up more of those horse-pony things talking. Some where asking who he was, and why the princess was so interested in speaking to him. Which made him question why too. Aren't there humans here? No, that couldn't be. Back on his world, horses weren't sentient, the solid brown eye with black dot to see out of proved him right. They only followed their instincts and memories they hardly kept unless repetition was a common occurrence. These ponies weren't like them. Their eyes were white and colored like a human's eyes.

"Crew..."

"Alice! Sleep! I command you!" Crew slammed his fist on the bed in anger. "SLEEP! REST YOURSELF!" He shouted.

"A-as you wish. I will be up tomorrow in the morning to wake you up."

Crew felt himself tear up. "Shut up you stupid AI..."

"Yes my human." He heard her chuckle. When he opened his eyes, he saw nothing once more, just empty darkness.

What he didn't want to tell the princesses was without Alice, he was blind, and he was born that way. He wasn't sure his eyes gave that away or not, but he was thankful that they didn't push for answers. He didn't know what he would do to keep that a secret. He rarely thought about the years he spent blind. It was a few months before the excitement from seeing everything was old news to him. His father was right, it is rather old to see everything.

He rolled over in his bed for a little while.

"Alice?"

"Yes Crew?"

"Can you play white noise for me?"

The noise started to play quietly inside of his head. It sounded like a small rainstorm. He wiped away a few tears and sniffed. "Thanks Ally..."

"You're very welcome. Goodnight my human."

As Crew went to sleep, Alice started repairs on herself while on standby mode. Her micro-squared processors working at creating new lines of biological repair codes and new micro drones to check for any signs of unstable cellular growth withing his organs. So far she found nothing other than a couple biological viruses that were new. She quickly went to work creating anti-bodies for them by capturing an infected cell and isolating the RNA strand.

It seemed to be a variation of the Influenza virus that she wasn't aware of. It had the same symptoms, but it was a tad bit more aggressive. Luckily her programming was quick enough to react to the virus, killing it completely off within two minutes. If she had a face, she was smiling to herself. So much has she assimilated into her systems that were of human emotions and reactions. Of course she was programmed to do so she might be better equipped to dealing with Crew.

Then, she started working through what memories she coded for later to be looked over. She did visual biological readings on the princesses, and found them to have high readings of energy...This is not good. She said to herself, moving her main micro-drone through the pathways of his neurons. She looked around for the right memory to match with her readings of the high energy signature.

They were slightly different, but they spiked at the same points. Just as I had thought... She moved back into his bloodstream. She was making sure most of herself were on standby mode. It seems that there was a high energy signature at the same time we entered this place. There are no signs of radio waves of any frequency. We could be in an entirely different world. Alice did a quick scan to see if Crew was sleeping, thankfully he was which might have explained how the heart was slowing down to a rested rate.

Now was her chance to try something she had in a beta. For the past two years, she had been trying to work on a code that would allow her to attach herself to a line of neurons in the part of his brain where it was most active while he was dreaming. So long has she wanted to know what he dreamed, what memories were plaguing him the most. She activated it once she was back once again inside of his brain.

After a few seconds of her own darkness she found herself in plane. Oh no..! She gasped. This was the first year she was inside of him. He and his mother were on a private plane to Australia to visit the Sydney Opera House. She knew this memory herself most of all. This was the first time she had to save his life. It was only minutes, perhaps seconds.

She saw a butler, who looked rather tan, walk up next to Crew. "Good evening sir. Would you like anything to drink?"

Crew shook his head. "No thanks, why don't you get yourself something?"

"I cannot, I might get fired if I do."

Crew waved his hand with a happy smile. "Mom, this man may get a drink. He has my permission."

"Thanks wonderfully nice of you Crew." She said with her own smile.

Crew's mother was a very pale woman with blond hair and dark blue eyes, so dark in fact they almost looked black. She was very fit, but didn't have the muscles. She was always very nice and helpful. She even trained Crew how to echo locate. While he was blind.

Crew smiled back at the butler. "See, no problem dude. Go, relax a little, we still got an hour before we land. One glass of wine won't hurt."

He bowed. "Thank you very much ma'am and sir." He walked off with almost a skip to his step.

Crew laughed, shaking his head. "Everyone needs a stiff drink..."

Crew's mother nodded. "Indeed, so how is your AI today?"

"I'm fine, thank you for asking Freya."

Freya smiled. "Wonderful!"

Before she knew it, the memory blacked out to nothingness. Must be dreaming something else... She followed through to the next memory. It was black, but she heard clicks meaning this was before Crew could see.

In a childish voice Crew was laughing happily. "Stop it mom!" He laughed, happy tears running down his face.

"Never! Not if the Dread Pirate Freya has anything to say about it. TICKLE ATTACK! Arrrgggggh!"

Crew exploded into a fit of laughter. If Alice could, she would be crying. He was dreaming of his mother, what brought this on, she hoped it wasn't herself that had done it. "St-top! MOMMY STOP!" He laughed. "I'm going to pee!"

Crew's mom had seemed to stop, she was laughing along with him. She held him close as he clicked the roof of his mouth with his toung. "So Crew, your birthday's coming up. What do you want this year?"

"More books!" He answered. "About Jets and planes and super fast engines!"

"Do you want to able to read them, do you want me to?"

"You! Your voice is super pretty!"

"Aw...Thanks Crew..." Then, everything stopped. Crew was starting to wake up again.

She moved back into the blood, and just let the flow of it take her. She had much to think on. The voice of his mother and Celestia's were...extremely similar, scary even. More research is needed...

Chapter 3: A Whole New World~!

Crew woke up with a light smashing against his eyes. He groaned awake, realizing that Alice was already back in working order. Not that he felt tired, it was the ruder than normal awakening that he normally got is what made him so groggy. He was just sleeping for two days before hand, and who knew how long during that night.

He sat up in his bed after asking Alice to turn the lights off again. He had to think in a big way. He knew very well that this wasn't at all a dream, if the pain in his eyes, and the sore muscles were anything to go by. Crew wasn't at all prepared for this, he didn't even get a warning other than a tingle down his back. A long sigh escaped his lips, he wanted coffee, something good to eat. A nice steak would've been awesome right now.

"Alice, how you feeling?" He asked, tired of the quiet.

"Fine, thank you for asking Crew."

"You do anything to my head last night? It feels sorta weird."

"You had a concussion, so I had to repair it. I didn't notice it until last night, busy working on fixing the priorities." She explained in a smooth tone, careful not to expose the lie. "Anyways, I've also been collecting some data."

Crew smiled, data meant results. "Care to tell me?"

"I have a slight feeling...now this is a huge long shot, but Celestia....doesn't she sound like your mother?"

His eyes opened wide. "H-huh? No way!?"

"I must say, the vocal ranges reach the right pitches in every word, every sound she made. My only explanation would need to fit on the line of: We just traveled through the void, to another dimension."

That hit Crew hard in the head. He fell back onto his pillow that seemed to be made of a light comfortable material, almost like a cloud. "That's pretty big. Did we even reach eighty-eight miles an hour?" He laughed at the joke he made, Alice seemed to enjoy it a little as well. "...So...dimensional jump at the speed of sound...through a rainbow-"

"Lead us to a land of rainbows and magical talking ponies? Yes, yes it did."

He made a light hearted laugh. "Heh...well fuck."

"Indeed." If Alice had a head, she would've nodded along with him. "I'm working out possible solutions on how to return to our dimension."

"Any so far?"

He heard Alice sigh sadly. "No, I'm sorry. I'm running sixty two thousand different operations, the maximum my systems will allow. All of them tell me that the energy readings are impossible for inter-dimensional travel. You'd need to burn a new born star to super nova in a day to get the energy to punch through the void..."

Crew already knew where this was going. "I'd like to keep my hopes up...you kinda dashed them Alice."

"I-...I'm sorry..."

"Hey Alice?"

"Yes?"

"It's fine."

"Thank you... you are very kind."

He smiled to himself, but mostly at Alice, she knew it. "Hey, we're friends who can't live without each other. I trust you to tell me the truth, and I'll give you what I think is right."

"Before you were blind-" She paused, picking up on the rising energy readings of the princesses. They had another, one with a lower scale, but it seemed to have the same frequency. "They're returning."

"Stand-by Alice." He heard her hum her answer.

There was a knock at his door, they didn't need to, but they did it anyways. He had a twenty thousand blazing questions running through his head. The feelings of nervousness, anxiety, and other quite negative emotions were running through his head.

"Come...Come in." He said, fixing himself back in an upright position.

First he saw Luna and Celestia walk through the door, then he saw long pink hair covering a yellow face. He smiled softly, the thing looked so damn shy. She squeaked as she entered the room, rushing behind Celestia for protection.

"I do something wrong?" He asked. "Am I not allowed to smile at my guests?"

Celestia laughed a little, looking to the winged horse, or pegasus. "Now Fluttershy, I told you he's safe. This is Crew, the human Luna told you about."

"Oh, her name's Fluttershy? That's a cute name little one. Hello, my name is Crew Walker." He made sure to keep his tone evenly soft, not raising or lowering his voice in anyway that he could think of.

"H-....l.lo.." She squeaked.

Crew felt the urge to laugh at the cuteness, but he feared it would only cause her to get angry or upset in anyway. It might also cause her to fear him even more, thinking he was some sort of bully. "She always that shy Celestia?"

"I'm afraid so Crew. But she's the best beast tamer in all of Equestria."

"The BEST eh!?" He looked to Fluttershy. Shy, good with animals. Quick Alice, give me some animal facts! Instantly he got information about bears. "Hey, if you know about animals, then answer this question: What kind of berry to bears like the most?"

Her ears shot up almost instantly. "Oh! I know that one!" She jumped ahead of the princesses, both looking at Crew in complete shock and dismay. "They like red, blue, and green wild berries!"

She's correct Crew. Alice said. "Interesting, you're right about that. Now, tell me, can you figure out my diet just by looking at my teeth. I won't believe that you're the 'best' until you do." It looked like he got her where it mattered. He was always good with shy children, working with them in orphanages to tell them about how he learned to see because of his father.

She jumped over, but paused. "C-can you open your mouth...please?"

Crew opened his mouth wide and laid his toung back to allow a full view of both sets. "Ah-nkee ting?" He asked.

Fluttershy backed away slowly, fear rising in her eyes like from before. "O-omnivore...!"

He nodded. "I am, but do not worry. I don't eat anything that can talk or understand me. That goes against human code of law in multiple countries..." Or unless you're starving on a beach... Alice said as if she were looking away from him. "Don't worry little one."

Luna raised a brow at what I had just said, so she opped to speak. "You say little one as though she were younger or that you were much older Crew. Care to explain."

Be careful to what you say, or they might push for you know what. Alice said to me quietly. "I took care of orphans when I graduated from flight school back home." I answered. I thought that would be harder than that. "She's like a shy child I met named Naomi. If you find an interest and expand, its actually quite easy to get them out of their shells. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable Fluttershy, if anything, I'm quite afraid of your kind more than you might be afraid of me."

"What do you mean by that Crew?" Celestia asked this time.

Ohhh....the fact she sounds like your mother for starters. Kind, but a WMD when it came to protecting you. "You two have this...feeling. Power...I don't know... Even her I'm afraid of. I don't know where I am, and how I got here or if I can ever get back. And as far as I know or anyone else knows....I'm the only human..."

Celestia looked to Luna. Both nodded at each other like they had spoken without words leaving their mouths. Their horns started to glow and two scrolls appeared. They floated them over to Crew, a soft silence fell upon them.

"Crew Michael Walker-" Luna started.

"-we would like to give you our utmost apologies towards your unfortunate arrival to our peaceful land." Celestia finished.

"So here we give you two choices, like we give all males in our land. Either you may become a royal guard of my elder sister, or I."

"These scrolls both give you full rights to Equestria under royal decree."

"But should we feel the need that Equestria is in danger."

"The one you choose is to whom you will heed the call." Celestia said and a needle appeared. "Every oath is signed in blood."

"Because blood is stronger than ink." Luna said darkly.

"While you await for us to find a way to send you home, we wish to make this as easy as possible for you. If you choose to earn a living here such as getting a normal job, a home, or even a herd of your own."

Crew looked down at the two sealed scrolls. "Don't you think this is all sudden?"

Celestia sighed, looking away and her face showing much pain. "Because you aren't from Equestria, the nobles of the court think that this is an attack on Equestria. My sister and I understand that this was all not meant to be on purpose, but the nobles are angry. Should you choose to deny either scroll, you will be arrested, put on trial, and if found guilty, you will be publicly executed for your crimes."

"Don't you think that's a little harsh!?" He screamed, scaring Fluttershy back behind the princesses. "I swear-!"

"Please Crew, we don't wish to make this harder. You will only serve for two years after the repairs are finished, then you may leave to your world." Luna said, looking a little sad. "Please, read each scroll."

The first was Celestia's, written in yellow ink:

Should you choose to sign this document, you will be put under the command of the Solar Guard captain Shining Armor Sparkle. You will carry a miniature star that will light even the darkest of caves, or brighten the mood of your comrades.

Then he opened Luna's, written in blue ink:

Should you choose to sign this document, you will be put under the command of the Lunar Guard captain Cressent Moon. You will carry a special lens that will allow you to see any shadow that may lurk and see in the night. Even those who hide in darkness see a different kind of light.

He leaned back in his bed, sighing like he had just ran a marathon, exhausted as fuck. "H-how long do I have."

"I'm afraid only a month." Celestia said. "But this will give you enough time to get used to everything I hope?"

"Humans are masters at change Celestia... I...I think I'll manage..." He covered his eyes. "I need to think..."

Both princesses thought then it would be a good time to bring up an idea. "Lunch is in two hours Crew. Should you wish, we can ask our griffin chefs to cook some beef. We would be more than willing to treat you as a guest while you think about this."

Take their offer Crew. Their IV drops are less then useful in supplying the right materials to heal you. You still have muscles in need of some repairs. "Sure, that actually sounds nice." He looked to Fluttershy with a very soft expression on his face. "Could you please help me Fluttershy? You don't have to, but I'm still very hurt and sore from my crash."

"O-of course! Anything for somepony hurt!...Even if you're kinda scary...You still need help..."

"Thank you very much little one." He smiled.

It was about ten minutes before lunch would be served. Everypony was sitting in the halls with Crew. Slowly, Fluttershy had realized herself that Crew was more in need of help than they had thought. He couldn't even stand up for more then a few seconds at best without assistance. Of course Crew had kept thanking her for her bravery and helping him walk to the dining hall which was still untouched by the crash.

Every second after he arrived, everyone was looking at him. Fear, excitement, anger, happiness, all different emotions he felt with their eyes. He hid himself away slightly by looking away from it all. This was even more shock then he was ready for. Alice kept trying to calm him down, by humming a soft melody, but his heart just jumped back up to a very swift pace.

"Crew?" Celestia tried to get his attention. "Are you well?"

He shook his head, looking down. "I...I can't think right now..." He lied.

Celestia seemed to catch on. "Why don't you six introduce yourselves to Crew here. Say your name and tell him what you like doing." She looked to see if Crew was getting better, but he seemed to be in a flight or fight mode. "I'll start. My name is Celestia Everfree, and I like teaching magic to special foals and fillies."

Twilight blushed a little and spoke. "I'm Twilight Sparkle, I love reading and casting spells."

"I guess I am next." Rarity said. "Hello darling my name is Rarity Belle, but you may call me Rarity. I create top of the line clothing for all sorts of ponies. Maybe, I can create more than that horrid jumpsuit you're wearing."

"Alright! I'm Rainbow Dash! I'm the fastest flyer in all of Equestia and the first to create a Sonic Rainboom in a thousand years!"

Crew...Already I see that Rainbow might be a key. Alice noted. Though I am not sure if it is hear that caused the energy readings to spike like that. He nodded in understanding, thanking her for the information.

"Ah'm Applejack Apple! I like buck'n apples!"

Crew snorted. "That country tone reminds me of my grandmother."

"Well Ah ain't!"

"Clearly..."

"I'm Pinkie Pie!" She somehow teleported in front of Crew in the blink of an eye. "Nice to meet you! I like making ponies smile!"

"A-and I'm Fluttershy..." She said softly. "I like taking care of all sorts of animals...even you if you're hurt."

"That's rather nice of you." He smiled with his eyes closed.

"Um Crew?"

"Yes Fluttershy?"

"What color am I?"

Oh shit! "Y-yellow, why?"

"Then how can you see me?"

Chapter 4: Brothers and Sisters, Perfect Rivals

He was breathing heavily, grasping his chest, he tried to calm himself down. "I have two eyes, duh."

She shook her head. "Your eyes Crew. They are hollow like you don't see or haven't seen in some time."

"Crew?" Celestia asked. "Is this true?"

"Of course not!" He lied. "I see you! You're white! Luna's blue! I. Can. SEE."

"B-but your eyes! They're so faded!"

Crew turned back to Fluttershy. "Look!" He shouted, getting in her face. "I can see you, your blue eyes, your pink mane. Humans have different eye colors that might be different to your eye colors!" Fluttershy was on the verge of tears, and already he could see from the sides everyone looked like they were ready to kill him.

Crew sighed, bending down to hug the mare. "Thank you for your concern Fluttershy, but trust me. I can see you." He wiped the tears away and laughed a little. "Why are you crying little one? There's nothing to be afraid of, I just got a little angry, that's all. Everyone gets a little angry right?" She nodded, making a couple sniffles. From his pocket, he pulled some tissues out, and wiped her face. "Don't dirty up that cute little face Fluttershy..."

"You handled that rather well Crew. I think her friends were going to execute you themselves for making her cry." Celestia said.

Rainbow Dash flew into Crew, and punched him right in the face. "DON'T EVER MAKE FLUTTERSHY CRY AGAIN YOU STUPID GROUND POUNDER!"

"Did you say ground pounder?" He asked through his teeth and started laughing. "How fast can you fly you horse!? Can you fly at mock two without pushing yourself?"

"M-mock two!?" Twilight yelled out her question. "Rainbow can only fly at mock one!"

He grinned, knowing he won the argument. "Maybe when my jet is repaired, I'll take you out on a ride twice the speed of sound."

Celestia cleared her throat as the lunch started to make its way around the table. "If anything Crew. I shall be the first to see if it is safe for my little ponies. You did crash it after all..."

I have a feeling it isn't just Rainbow Dash who loves to go fast. Alice remarked, amusement in her voice. Any who, I'm going to see if there are any midieval codes or something that could assist you out of this mess. Going to Stand-By Mode. He nodded, and turn his attention to his food.

It was pork with a bit of garnish, some mashed potatoes, and chopped carrots. He smiled wildly at it, and it smell like his mother's own cooking. He closed his eyes, remembering the face of his mother, one he knew he would never lose the sight of. He grabbed the knife placed next to him, and heard everyone else gasp. Opening his eyes, he saw everyone just looking at the knife in his hand. Then, he picked up the fork and stabbed the meat. After trying to cut it for a few seconds and not getting any work done he set the knife down along with the fork.

"Could I have a sharper knife please?"

Celestia struggled to keep her jaw jaw dropping and eyes widening. She nodded, and clopped her hooves. "Your hands are quite marvelous Crew... To be honest, I'm sure none of us were expecting to see you do that, rather..."

"Eat it like a monster, or a...excuse the pun, but like a pig?" Pinkie seemed to find it funny at least. He shook his head. "No, if there was one thing my mother taught me was to be polite at another's dinner table."

A steak knife was replaced, and he went at the pork again. Once he got the cooked meat cut into ten or so even bite sized pieces, he grabbed his fork and slowly ate one-by-one. Smiling at the flavor he said, "This is wonderful." He grabbed the water, or at least he hoped it was. Alice said it was Dihydrogen Oxide, so he drank it anyways. After that came a long, drawn out burp. Rarity had fainted, while others were staring at him wide eyed once again. "What?"

"WWoooooowweeee!" Applejack burst into a fit of laughter with Rainbow Dash, Pinkie joined in just because. The princesses in the room just shook their heads.

"Must you belch so loudly Crew? Must you belch at all?" Luna asked, speaking for the first time.

"Back on my world, we have many different cultures-" He began speaking of cultures and Twilight somehow got a scroll and quill and started to write. "Many are different because humans have almost completely populated the world, our population reaching seven billion. The French, and I think Chinese humans burp after a good meal, but I couldn't help myself. This will get another generous praise after I'm done."

"So, the louder the belch, the more you feel towards the meal? How strange..."

Crew shrugged, taking another few bites, moaning at the flavor of the juices each time. They did wonders to the meat, go griffins. "Humans are weird. The Japanese humans take their shoes off before they enter their houses. American- which I am- generally prefer freedom over all else. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to live a long prosperous life...but I never got to follow that last part..."

"Why not?"

Be careful Crew, you're leading yourself into this. "I wanted to join the army...or guard as you might call it. We were a hundred thousand or more strong. Naval, Air, and Ground troops all ready to whoop some foreign ass." He laughed shaking his head. "Look at me, rambling on about the home I never loved."

Celestia was looking more interested in Crew every second he spoke. "Please, go on. Tell us of your home."

"Well, like I said our world is populated with seven billion humans of different races, however we're the only sentient species. Many humans suffer from a range of disorders due to how we're evolving and how we're changing the world. Too many people, too many factories, too much smog. We're killing our planet, slowly...."

"So why should I risk having you here then?" Celestia asked.

Alice decided to step in. "Because if you hurt my human, then I will enter your bodies, and disassemble you at the atomic level. Atom by atom, you won't even know you're gone." His eyes flashed purple as she spoke. "This is a threat, but this human is different. He is eco-friendly, he powers his house with the sun rather than burning coal or fusion. He is smart, caring to all living things, and is great with children who don't even have homes to all their own! Don't you DARE! HURT MY HUMAN!"

Everyone, once again sad to say, was staring at Crew who was now Alice. His eyes were still purple. "You wished for me to speak Princesses, those are my first words. Do not hurt my human!!!" His fists slammed down on the table, making his glass of water spill over and his fork to jump in his plate. "And don't you dare call him a threat to this world! He is lost, and afraid! Wouldn't you freak out, try to defend yourself around creatures who could or would harm you!? THREATEN EVEN!? I know you haven't yet, but it was implied in the tone of voice you carried."

Alice, enough, let me back in control. Override code: FREYA. His eyes turned back to normal. He blinked a few times, waiting for his vision to return. "I'm sorry you had to see her like that Celestia, Luna, girls." He nodded to each as he said, "She is very protective over me. She may be a robot, but she can think and act like most of us here. She cares not for how others feel to her words, robots do not have those kinds of feelings. Alice however, keeps her word, much like I. Our names mean more than any currency could buy, because if we allow ourselves to be bribed by another, we lose a part of ourselves in the process."

"So it is loyalty you inspire?"

"You could lay, I'm blindly loyal Celestia." Crew smiled, knowing this to heart. While he was blind he had to rely on everyone around him, now he just relied on Alice. "I am loyal to those who give me their trust. Their trust should not be taken for granted, and that's how it should remain." After he finished the potatoes he smiled, rubbing his belly. "That was a good meal Celestia. I give your chefs much praises for their work."

"Griffins are masterful chefs when it comes to cooking meat. We have a few around because some of the my guard requires meat." Luna said. "Well, those who were inflicted with the mutation..." Her gaze seemed to go out for miles. "Poor souls..."

"Anyways!" Celestia said, quickly changing the topic. "I must set a few ground rules for you Crew while we wait to hear which of us you choose to enter the guard under. You are not allowed to leave the castle-" A metal band flashed around his wrists. "-secondly, as a guest, you have access to everything the palace has to offer. You stay will be not only your cell, but your paradise. If you wish to view the rest of Canterlot, you must be either with my sister or I."

The ban looked to be made of some sort of gold. It floated with glowing runes around his wrists. "What happens if I try to leave without one of you."

"Simple. If we are not within ten meters of you, you will slowly feel heavier." He already knew where that was going. If he stayed to far, he would simply get crushed.

He waved his head to shut her up. She got the information across well enough. " 'Ight Celestia, I understand those terms, and I fully accept them. I highly doubt if I left here there wouldn't be either mass panic or mass hate towards me...I don't like it, but then again, who would like getting bound like this...?"

They all seemed to blush up at his words. He smacked his face and chuckled. "Naughty...so...dirty..." Rarity said shaking her head. "You sir, are much like every other stallion. Sexual jokes within each word you speak. Humf! Brute..."

Crew stood up. "Do I have a room to stay in?" He asked. "If I do, a tour around the castle and too my room would be rather nice of someone."

Celestia stood to the offer. "I actually have a few private questions to ask of you Crew. I shall take you to your room. It will be close to my own so that I may have a better eye on you." She narrowed her eyes. "I have yet to find myself to trust you far from my site."

"That being?" He asked.

"You crashed into my house..." She deadpanned with an angry look across her face, then looked to Luna. "Our house."

It was a few hours later, Crew was sitting in his new room. Celestia had to talk to him about the run downs of the castle, and a few things he had to do. It wasn't like he was going to be there for free while he was staying in his room. During the mornings the maids will come to his room before going onto her room, and at that time he had to be escorted down the halls to the dining hall. Later he'd come back with fresh linings on his bed.

Crew was fine with it all. Supposedly he'd need to help the maids by next week, which was also fine. He was still sore, but Alice was fine at work taking care of that issue. Already he was able to walk on his own, but he didn't want to. Sloth let it be him this night. As soon as Celestia told him that there was a spell enchanted into the door when locked, it muted the entire room.

Standing up with his wobbly legs, he stood up to lock the door. When it make a slight click from the door, he sat back down on the bed. His hands were shaking, but there wasn't anything Alice could do about it, not that she wanted to. She knew very well what he was going to do next. He'd done this after the first couple hours of seeing for the first time.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" His eyes were wide and all he saw was red, and his breathing was off pace. "FUCKING PONIES! WHY PONIES!? DAMMIT! Why...why ponies Alice?"

Alice giggled. "I think they're cute little beings. Lots of energy around them, even that pink one. She seemed to create her own energy just from smiles, even her own." She moved around to his brain and gave him a little bit of his body's own natural relaxant. He breathlessly thanked her and fell back on the bed. "Do you see what I mean now about Celestia, Crew?"

He nodded. "She does...but I know it isn't her. Mom would never make me go though this if she had a choice."

"But doesn't it seem like Celestia doesn't either?" Alice asked quizzically. "Seems that way to me when she and her sister gave you those scrolls."

"By the way, how's the whole search going?"

"Actually, I've found only two ways. They are: One, you could kill yourself, or two, trial by combat."

"Those are supposed to help me Alice?" He laughed. " 'Cuz, that don't sound like either could."

"You took a fencing class on year five for two months. You went there everyday so you could be the best at it."

Crew snorted. "Like their fights will be a simple spar Alice..." He looked over to the scrolls, thinking for a few moments. "Y-you would count as a person too right?"

"Crew?" She sounded slightly worried. "Where are you going with this?"

"Remember what dad told us? You're as human as I am when it comes to problem solving. 'Alice is just like you Crew, but she can help you with anything you want of her, and more!'. Remember? W...now what if, you signed Luna's and I Celestia's?"

"You're dumber than I believed Crew. Honestly, if this is how any Blood Magic works, your idea wouldn't work."

"Hey, it's worth a try right? Plus, I don't like deciding on this. There are so many problems that could arise if we don't. Siblings make the worst rivals ever."

Alice didn't reply, she didn't know what having a sister or brother was like. Crew had a younger brother who couldn't hear, the two were almost always together being each other's eyes and ears, they were twins. Crew was the first to come out, which made him the older twin. However, it was when he was eight when his brother died of heart complications. There was a issue with his brother's heart where it would beat for a few minutes then stop for maybe ten or so seconds. At first it was only slightly worrying, then one day, he stopped breathing. Crew cried out, begging for his brother to breath for several hours, too young to fully understand death like his parents.

She was actually rather silent lately. Alice had been working hard to keep her own systems from collapsing or failing. The crash actually damaged a few key drones, but luckily she had back-ups and enough minerals in Crew to make more. There was still the issue of her AI getting out of control. She already had lashed out at the princesses, and it was the override code was the only thing that had stopped her.

"C-crew?"

"Yes?" He opened his eyes.

"I am sorry about earlier." She said, sounding a little ashamed. "It was very unlike my coding for me to lash out at them."

"It's fine Alice, you were only protecting me, that's your job."

"My purpose is to make sure that you are safe and well cared for. However, I am developing flaws in my codes that I am trying to work around. I...don't know if I should self destruct or not..."

"That worried?" He asked.

"I am Crew! I'm scared I might hurt you! I don't want to hurt you! You're my human!"

*knock, knock* "Alice, go to sleep mode, but keep eye function on. Rest, try to work out those flaws."

*knock, knock, knock* "Okay...I'll talk to you later..."

"Come in!" Crew called.

Celestia entered the door, and locked it back. "If you're wondering, I have a skeleton key." She showed him a key made of bone. He winced at the slight of it, turning a little pale. "I'd like to ask you a question, and don't worry, I am a mare of my word."

"Am I in trouble again Celestia?" He asked by way of joke.

She laughed a little, and sat down next to him. "Not at all. Now, onto the question...Crew, while we were walking earlier I was running some scans on you. I'm sorry for not informing you, but something was bugging me."

"That was?"

Celestia sighed picking up the scrolls. "What you say now will effect how these turn out Crew Walker...Now, tell me the truth. I will not know if you are telling it or not, but I need to have an answer. I swear I will not tell a soul other than to those who wish you dead." She put them down and looked at him in the eyes. "Were you born blind, and Alice is who you rely on to see? Please Crew, I want to help you. It was not your fault that you crash if you tell me yes."

Crew looked down at his hands. "So... if I tell you, you won't tell anyone who doesn't need to know?" He asked, and Celestia nodded, swearing to her crown and saying only one other pony aside from her sister would know. "Y...I was born blind yes...I had a brother who was deaf to help me see, and I helped him hear. When he died, Project Automated-Logistical-Intelligence-Caring and Entertainment Units one to one hundred thousand was underway. When I was eighteen, Alice was finished, and quickly injected into my blood stream." He smiled. "Alice is six years old now...When he first met me, she was set on fixing everything, but as it turned out, my body never made the nerves for my eyes. I had the organs-"

"But they didn't have function?"

"Exactly." He nodded. "So instead, Alice ended up using two thousand units in a chain to connect my brain to my eyes. At first, the light hurt, for the next few days anyways...After that, I wanted to know what every color was, do everything I could have done if I had eyes that worked..."

Celestia began ripping the papers up with her magic, then burned them into tiny little bits. "Can I speak to Alice?"

His eyes flashed purple and Alice turned his head to gaze at the princess. "Princess?"

"I need you to sign a waver, saying that you are Crew's helper. I must be here to witness you signing it or the nobles will throw fits. I will explain that there was a fault in your systems and that the jet had experienced a jump. There are signs on the jet that show this as proof such as 'bent wings' as it were."

"Why?"

"Because I cannot allow this. The nobles are so ready to start a war, and it is only my sister and I who stop them every time they feel even slightly threatened. Plus...Crew is blind, and I wish to aid those who need help the most."

Alice nodded. "You are just like his mother princess. Always doing whatever she can to help those in need..." She laughed and nodded. "Yes! Very much like her, voice and all."

"Who was this woman?"

"Her name was Freya. Now-" She clapped Crew's hands together. "Lets get my human out of the noble's asses hmm?"

"Yes, quite." Celestia looked a little perturbed, but shook it off. She knew a goddess named Freya, but there was no power to be felt from this human. So she smiled, and teleported the right scroll for Alice to sign.

The rest of that afternoon went smoothly. Celestia left only to come back some time later to explain that Crew was in the clear, but the offers still stood. Crew, felt then that he had to make it up to Celestia. So he started to think on what he was going to do for the time being. The shouts in the court yard showed him the later training ours of the Solar Guard. They all did push-ups and ran dozens of laps. And as the gears began to turn in his mind, he knew then: "Joining the guard is how I'll repay my debt." Alice could only agree. Crew was never the one to take things for free. There was always a price, even if he had to pay it, and Celestia did more than he could ever pay for...

INTERLUDE: Alice

Crew winced as he felt the needle slowly force its way through his skin. His father and mother watching behind a glass sheild as the doctors did their work. Each tasked with watching different monitors and the one closest to him was a lovely doctor by the name of Katie, his aunt.

"Hang in there big boy, you got this." She said as she pushed down on the injector. "ALICE is going in. Start up main sequences, one through ten." The other doctors gave their affirmatives as buttons were pressed and levers pulled. Once all of the clear blue fluid was inside Crew she backed away a few steps.

Crew was shaking in his seat. "M-mom....I'm scared..."

Freya pressed a button to open the microphones. "I'm right here honey, don't worry. Just relax and stay calm."

Katie turned the microphone off from the inside, and mouthed a few apologies. Then, turning to Crew she nodded to a few doctors. "Project A.L.I.C.E. Unit one to one hundred thousand? Can you understand me?"

Crew's eyes looked mechanical for a few moments. They looked purple, (Katie 's favorite color) and looked like they were straight  out of a movie, glowing and all. "I am...who is this? Where is everyone?" Crew fell onto the floor and started screaming. "WHAT IS THIS!? Who is there!? I cannot see!"

"A.L.I.C.E! You need to calm down!" Katie ordered. "Do you understand me!?"

"W-who's there!?" The female robotic voice screamed, then the eyes switched back. "AGH! MY HEAD! GET IT OUT!" They turned back to purple. "W-who was that?! WHO'S SPEAKING! AGH!" Crew's body began lashing about randomly. He kicked and screamed, their voices began to fuse creating a reverberating voice. "Who's that! MY HEAD! AGH! MOM!"

Katie ordered everyone to leave except her. "Voice recognition! K-A-T-I-E! CREATOR SPEAKING!"

Crew's body stopped cold. "Creator?"

"Yes-yes! It's me! Katie!"

"Why can't I see creator?"

Katie knelt down and hugged Crew's body. "You're inside of someone who's very important my creation. His name is Crew Michael Walker, and I need your help in helping him."

"That is what I am designed to do Creator. What do you want me to do?"

"Can you find his eyes, and heal them? If you do, both of you will be able to see." Katie smiled softly at Crew. "He's never seen anything before, and would really like to. You know why?"

"I'm afraid I do not Creator. Why?"

"Today, its both of yours birthdays. Today, you get to live with someone I care a lot about." She looked back at Baron and Freya. "Behind me are two other people who care about Crew a whole lot too. So, do you think you could help him see for the first time? Please?"

Crew's face showed a smile. "I will try. For...Crew...My Human..." She closed his ice blue eyes and kept him breathing as she moved around inside him. Once she located his eyes she found nothing there. "M-my creator! Crew has no nerves in his eyes! What should I do?"

Katie winced, fearing this was going to be an issue. "What should you do. Not what I would do. Think Alice, you're smart, you can do it."

"I will try, for you and for him."

"Great my little creation." Katie smiled. For one thing she was happy about. She didn't seem to be all to violent for AI. I guess all those movies like the Matrix are just tiny horrors. She giggled to herself.

A few moments passed Crew stood up, gathering attention. "Creator?"

"Yes?"

"I have come up with a solution. I am rather proud of it too. I will use some drones to make connections from his brain to his eyes. It will take two thousand and eighty-four drones. Am I allowed to follow through with this plan?"

"Anything you think that will help him, you may."

"Affirmative, starting process now."

His eyes went back to normal and was about to fall over, but Katie caught him. She helped him onto a table and dimmed the lights in the lab room.

It was quiet, everyone watching were on their high alert, waiting. Suddenly, Crew gasped. "W-what?!"

"Crew? Can you see me?"

Tears formed up in his eyes. He nodded, unable to speak. "M-...I...Wha?" He started to cry, covering his eyes, he just sobbed. Katie nodded to her sister and husband, and they entered the lab.

Freya moved him into a hug, a tight one at that.

Here we are in the sky

together we will fly~

When you are by my side.

I would like to see you fly

so high up in the sky

spread your wings to fly

with new eyes,

you are by my side."

Crew uncovered his eyes to see his mother for the first time. "M-mom?"

She smiled as she started to cry herself. "Yes my baby boy." She stroked his blond hair. "Its me, and that's dad." She pointed to her sister. "And that's Aunty Kate. She helped the person who did this all for you. Why don't you say thank you hmm?"

"Who..who did this?"

"Why don't you ask her?" Katie asked smiling. It seemed now everyone was crying, even his father Baron.

Hello my human. You must be Crew, it is a pleasure to assist you. What would you like to call me?

"Project A.L.I.C.E, seemes to be a success." Katie smiled, writing down some notes.

"You're Alice." Crew said. "Hello there, thanks for helping me see."

It was easy Crew. My creator Katie gave me everything I need to know about you and about humans. I can heal you from the inside and out.

"You and I Alice, we're going to be best friends."

I hope so Crew. You seem really nice for a human.

Chapter 5: An Easy-ish Day

Crew woke up on his own this time around, which was for him a very pleasant surprise indeed. Normally, Alice woke him up. When asked, Alice told him a few times that he deserved the extra sleep. After thanking her, he went around his room, trying to find a bathroom to take a shower. His suit had been on him for the past three days, maybe longer, and to make a long story short, he stunk, bad.

He found his room to be quite large, a guard outside explained that it was a room made for dignitaries and visiting royals. While normally he was used to the 'high life' his father provided him, there was a reason why he lived on that island before he crashed, but now he felt like he was given too much. It made him a little sick thinking about it. That's when he found the shower, and decided to wash his worries away (and his nasty stank).

There he stood as the water showered over his head, making his once rat's nest of hair now become long "manjestic" mane. His old friend Eddie had described his hair with those very words at one point, and he'd come to like that term very much. But, he just stood there, feeling the water wash over him, feeling the hot droplets hit him like tiny stingers. His knees felt weak, so he sat down, not bothering to turn the knob back down to start a bath. Once he was sitting, he curled up into the fetal position, taking in deep breaths. He knew this wasn't a dream any longer, there wasn't any doubt now.

"Are you okay Crew?"

He shook his head, getting in a tighter hold of himself while the water continued to pelt him. "What if we can never get back...?"

"Then you'll finally get what you always wanted." Alice said simply. "To live a 'real' life. The one you always wanted."

Alice was right. Ever since he could see, he wanted to live like a normal person. Being rich, he never got to love someone without them wanting him for his money. He never got to go to regular school. The more he thought about it, the more he felt conflicted. "I-...I still don't know Ally."

"Give it some time Crew." She said softly, trying her best to help him relax in all sorts of ways. "I'm sure they're be a way home, you just need to wait. Maybe soon...maybe in a couple months."

Crew didn't reply, Alice knew why. He didn't want to think about these kinds of things. While being in a new world, he could start anew, but he could never see his beautiful island, the sea... Crew started to cry, Alice only gave him the feeling that there was a hand gently rubbing his back, it was all she could offer him.

There was a knock at the door, but he still kept going, still kept crying while she shower washed away his tears. He kept thinking about his island, the bird who flew over him as he ran, the sound of his jet engines running at their full power. He wanted to fly, he wanted to be where the world couldn't touch him, he wanted to touch the clouds, to see the curvature of the earth. Now, he couldn't. His Jet was damaged, he was in deep trouble with the princesses.

*knock, knock* The knocks where heavy. "Go away!" He shouted, sorrow threatening to drown his voice out.

"Crew?" It was Celestia's voice who answered back. "Please, you've been in the shower for two hours."

Two hours? Crew thought. "Just go Celestia! You don't want to see me like this!"

The door cracked open and he covered himself. "Crew?" She took a look at his face, and saw that his eyes were very blood shot. "Oh my! You've been crying!" She rushed in and turned off the water. Then, she placed a towel over his crotch as she looked away from him until she knew from her magic that he was covered.

"Just leave me alone Celestia! I want to be alone."

"Well, you're running the water bill high, and I do need to pay for these kinds of things." She laughed lightly as she moved him back into his room. "Guards told me that they heard someone crying in your room. I came as soon as my meeting was over."

"Well, now you know who was crying, now you can go back to your damned nobles!" He shouted. "Just leave me alone! I want to be alone!"

She wrapped a wing around him and sighed. "I often wanted to be alone Crew, but then I remembered I have a important job to do. While you are here, under my roof, I will be the one who cares and looks after you." She hugged him tightly. "I feel as though there is a double meaning to your words however. Alone I mean."

"Well..." He looked down at his hands. "I am alone, and I want to be alone..."

She sighed, letting her wing fall back to her side. "Would you like to take a walk with me? Walking often helps calm my mind." She smiled kindly at him.

However, he shook his head. "No thank you..."

She bit the bottom of her lip, thinking. "Is it a human thing?"

Alice chose this point to speak. "No, actually, my human is just a lazy ass."

Celestia snorted into a chuckle. "I know quite a few ponies who don't want to walk, but come on Crew. Please?"

"Maybe tomorrow Celestia...I don't feel like it..."

Sighing in defeat she stood up. "Well, you'll still need to walk to breakfast. The Elements of Harmony are leaving back to Ponyville soon after. You're welcome to join them soon enough, but you're still in the red zone." She paused, looking over Crew's words. "And I will take you up on that walk tomorrow Crew. Do not forget."

"Alright! Alright!" He cried. "Just get out so I can get dressed. Don't want you to see me naked." He looked down at himself. "Alright, all naked."

"Why?" Celestia asked. "I'm naked, why can I not see you?"

Once again, Alice spoke. Crew was starting to think Alice knew when to screw up a conversation, or maybe she just wanted to talk more out of spite towards him. "Humans have exposed Penises princess."

Celestia's quickly flushed up as she started to walk out. "Say no more..." She said, trying to cover herself. When she exited the room, a guard asked her if she was alright. No, she found something that made her quite flustered.

A few hours past. Breakfast was boring, nothing actually happened. Everyone said their goodbyes, and Pinkie Pie swore he would get a party as soon as Crew got to Ponyville. Crew thought the name of the town was rather...strange, but he ignored to sooner or later. At least it isn't weird as the Island called Tittycaca back on earth.

Crew however, saw himself smiling when he found a library. All the books one could read, there right in front of him. Alice switched her repair mode to function mode to better allow him to read the books at faster paces. This is where he found the history section. A little history would do anyone some good. He thought to himself as he pulled a large book open on an even larger lectern. The book was thankfully called History of Equus and Equestria. The index showed six thousand pages, and one hundred and three chapters.

He passed the time, smiling as he kept to himself. Often ignoring anyone's advances to make him leave, he didn't want to. He had a book to read, a mood to work on. This is when he closed his eyes, replaying all the information of the first ten chapters he read within six or so hours. He found himself battling creatures of unknown origin, swinging a broadsword in one hand, and a magic spell in the other. The last of the humans, no other, and he laughed as they all ran for cover.

"Mr. Walker?"

Crew snapped out of his own little adventure to see a weird looking pegasus staring at him. He had a moon crest on his chest, his wings were like a bat's and his eyes were like a cat's. Also, two little teeth poked out from his mouth pointing down like a vampire's fangs. A few other nice features is that the stallion was a dull purple with white mane.

"Yes?"

"Oh welcome back. I've been trying to get your attention for the past half-hour."

Crew looked at the page he was on and closed the book, making Alice remember the page later. "What's up?"

"The sky...Look, the princesses wish to speak to you in the royal hall. You know, the one you destroyed with that metal bird you rode in?"

"Oh, did they say why?" He asked.

The stallion shook his name. "No sir. Only that to tell you to come see them as soon as I find you."

"How long has it been since breakfast?" He pointed to the windows and it looked like the sun was about to go down. "ALICE! IT HASN'T BEEN SIX HOURS!" He heard Alice begin to laugh her nanites out.

The guard shrugged simply. "Anyhoof, we should get going. The princesses must be wondering themselves ragged trying to figure out where you are."

"Lead the way my leather winged friend."

"Right..."

The walk to the throne room was, uneventful to say the least. Other than a few guards staring at Crew and the Lunar guard as they passed them with either confusion or horror. Horror mostly directed at Crew. He was tall, walking on two legs and his long nimble fingers they saw earlier holding a knife with ease. Already there were rumors in the castle that he was a demon or some sort of creation of Discord.

The large doors opened to reveal the room in pristine condition. Crew's jaw dropped, and if Alice had one, it was down too. The whole place looked like it hadn't even been destroyed in the first place.

Celestia smiled down along with her younger sister at Crew and the Lunar guard. "Princess  Luna, Celestia, here is the human you asked for." He said with a bow before exiting the room though a door to the left of Luna.

"Ah, Crew. There you are." Celestia smiled down at him, then it was lost.

"Crew, we wish to speak to you about how you managed to enter Equestia. Could you enlighten us?"

He nodded, stepping a little closer to he didn't have to raise his voice. "While on a test flight to make sure my jet's computers were still fully functional, Alice recorded high energy readings close to us. However, while I was trying to get away from what could have harmed my jet, I hit the speed of sound as I was crossing a full rainbow. When I opened my eyes, we were about to crash. Alice told me to lean to the left so my jet's cone wouldn't take the front of the damage."

Celestia nodded. "Which explains the bent wing. Anything else?"

He winced, just thinking that his jet was damaged was eating him up inside. "I don't think so. Oh wait!" He held up his cuffs. "Can you take this off?" In a flash it was gone and he smiled, rubbing his wrist. "Thanks Celestia, you're the greatest."

Luna rolled her eyes. "Because of this development, we have chosen you to aid our top engineers to assist in the repairs of you jet." A smile graced her lips. "Once it is done, you will take first my sister, then I into the skies with it to see if it is dangerous."

"Well, okay, but it wasn't made for combat, just to get off my island and do air shows." He shrugged. "But fine. If you want to go fast, you just have to ask."

Celestia smirked. "May we?"

Crew laughed a little. "Can I say no? Sure you can, but uh....you two might need G-suits."

"G-suits?"

"Yeah, they protect you from harmful G-forces. You got them right?"

The princesses looked rather confused. "Crew, alicorn bodies are very durable. Twilight a few months ago was blown though a couple mountains...by a six story minotour mind you."

Crew grimiced. "Ow....Okay, yeah." Alice?

I'm making a rough judgement here, but that's well over two tons of force right to Twilight Sparkle.

"Two tons?" He asked aloud, the shrugged to the princesses. "Yeah, alright, no G-suits then. But you'll be in for the time of your lives."

"We've yet to have one of those Crew." Celestia said in a serious tone. "As princesses we only have time at the end of the day to relax, or for my sister's case the morning when her time ends."

Crew looked a little confused. "Wait what? Do you two ever sleep?"

"We hardly require sleep. Though, it does wonders for our moods." Luna answered with a soft smile. "I sleep even during the night to enter dreams as one should be asleep to help those who are too."

"This place is so weird..." Crew said under his breath. "So, I was told you needed me for something else? Guy who brought me here only told me you needed me."

"We did now we're done. You may go back to your room now. Or, if you wish, you may take a walk around the castle. For the next week while we find you accommodations down in Ponyville."

"I'm going where the others went? Why?" He asked. "It's not like I hate them, its just I don't know about that. What if there's panic?"

"That's why we're sending you to Ponyville. While Meretropolis, Canterlot, Manehatten, and other large cities will, Ponyville is a town that boarders a forest filled with dangers. They are so used to change, so you going there wouldn't cause them to panic as much. Yes, they might think you're some sort of monster, but if you should stick around long enough-" She smiled widely. "-they might just accept you as one of them."

"They're that accepting?"

"Why wouldn't they be?! With Pinkie Pie there, I'm sure you'll find yourself with the whole town being your friend." Luna laughed. "Are humans not as accepting?"

"If I were a scientist, I would've found ways to see what makes you tick. But I'm not, but humans are shitty."

"You seem to hate your own kind Crew, care to explain?"

"Humans are destructive creatures." He said flatly. "We distort our world, bending everything over out laps like a child being reprimanded. We continue to destroy and build up and wide. Humans are demons of earth." He put his hands up before they could ask him what he meant, they chose to let him go on. "However, there are humans who wish to protect the world, try to slowly turn it back into the pure environment as it was before humans discovered the internal combustion engines. I am one of them, and I'm proud."

Celestia felt a tingle go down her spine. Something had happened there while Crew was talking. There was, maybe just for a fraction of a second, a second shadow behind him, helping him push his words. She looked to her sister, Luna nodded and spoke. "Crew, are humans have the ability to use magic?"

He shook his head. "Many believed  that magic existed on my world. However, none were able to use it, magic was never real."

"Truly? No magic whatsoever?" He nodded, Luna frowned as his answer, but chose not to ask or say anything else.

"Why do you ask?"

Celestia did a quick scan on him once again. This time, like the last, there was no magic to be seen, or was there at all. "We were curious, that is all."

A guard rushed in, panting. "Princess, more Griffins....attacked...Trotenburg."

Celestia pinched her snout with her hooves, sighing. "I'm sorry Crew, I have matters to attend to. Luna, can you go look for Right Word?"

"Isn't he in Trottingham?"

There was a audible smack as she hit her face, Crew winced with Luna. Celestia, irony as it be, was struck with an idea, be it by her own hoof. "Crew Michael Walker, to repay for the damages done to our home and the homes of others, you will become a temporary Equestrian Ambassador."

Luna stared wide eyed at her sister. "You expect him to-" With the eye motion her sister was giving her Luna paused, then nodded. "Yes, actually, you have a point. I too agree."

Crew looked completely dumbfounded. Alice the whole time was trying to figure out what had just happened. She was still trying to figure out equine body language. They both agreed, the next few days were going to be strange.

While walking in the halls of the palace, Crew wanted to find the library once again. Everything in the whole place looked the same, hardly any differences in each hall. He was feeling drained now. Whenever he spoke to the princesses, it was like having a weight on his chest. Like he was speaking to a god that could kill him a fraction of a second. It was slightly frightening.

Then there was Celestia's and Luna's voices. Celestia's sounded like his mom's, while Luna's sounded like his aunt's. He wondered what they would look like if they were humans. Crew sounded like his father, only with a slightly deeper voice that would've made women wet their pants. A girl he liked described his voice as: 'White Morgan Freeman with a little less age.' He laughed a little. Ruby was always so childish, and he remembers watching movies with her when he was a kid. She would always sit next to him, describing the movies for him. If he was a little older, he would've loved her. However, when he reached eighteen, he became a recloose, living on his island alone to escape those who only love him for his money.

His face scrunched up. He HATED money. It ruined his life while making it better. Yes with money he could see, but with money, he could never love another. Crew just hated everything that had to do with money. He told his dad he wanted an island, a jet and boat, a home, and to be left alone. Right after his mother died, he left less often to visit his father. All he ever asked for was to be a normal person, to be left alone, to fit in...

"Crew Walker?" Crew turned to see the same guard as before. He bowed. "I am to assist you with whatever you may require or inquire. My rank and name is Second Lieutenant Light Touch, at your service."

"You can stay at ease Light, I'm not stuck up." He smiled. "But thanks. I'd like some help getting back to the library. Can you help me with that?"

Light Touch nodded. "Of course, this way sir."

"Cannit on the sirs, I don't hold rank over you."

"Yes, Mr. Walker." Crew sighed, he supposed that was as far as he was going to get with Light Touch. It didn't really matter, he just felt like Mr. Walker was his father. "If I may ask, why are you so loose?"

"What do you mean? Care to reword that?"

Light nodded. "You want me to treat you like I would to a new pony I've met. Why?"

"Simple, I hate being formal."

"Oh, ah...Okay then. Turn left, we're here." He said pointing to the door. "You weren't that far actually."

"Thanks Light." He nodded with a smile. As he was walking into the library he noticed Light wasn't following him. "You coming?" Light didn't answer, but followed him instead.

Crew walked back over to the massive book he was reading earlier. It took only a second or two to find his spot, and then he got back to reading. At this point in the book, Crew was reading about eighteen alicorns who once guided the world. Each had a job, aiding the world with just their powers. They all ruled over different regions. Celestia and Luna ad he found weren't exactly sisters, neither were they related to the other alicorns. A few struck his interest: Laov, the goddess of love, Terith, god of the earth, Sikal the goddess of passion and friendship, others were Gale, Ignal, Jade, Lorana, and others. Together they had made sure all of Equus was working correctly, and was balanced.

As he read on a picture of a sky blue alicorn with amber eyes, and his mane was white. The caption under the picture depicted the name Gale, Lord and God of the Skies Above. The alicorn had a picture of a silver wing on his flank, and in a yellow magic hold was a flute. The drawing was crude, but the alicorn looked to be smiling as he held the flute. The more he read of him, he found that he vanished three thousand years before Equestria's founding.

How did he vanish? Alice asked. As it turned out, it was still a mystery, but rumors held up a few suspicions. The first of few was he was trying to stop a war by talking to the parties involved. Another, he played a long that turned him into the wind and was never able to turn back. The last, and most ridicules was he killed himself without a reason. So no one really knows? Strange...

"Yeah..." Crew said, looking away from the page. The moon was rising, quickly. He guessed it was time for Luna to raise it since it was moving so fast.

He stood up and asked Light to help him to his room. Of course the guard agreed, but didn't like making much small talk. Part of the job Crew guessed simply. It wasn't his place to tell the guard to talk to him. If Light wanted to talk, he'd talk, so Crew left him be.

Crew, you've been quiet. Alice noted.

Crew shrugged and thought back. No much to talk about. Still trying to keep myself together. Don't want another shower with Celestia trying to help me.

You need to thank her for that. She's trying to help you, and all you've done is push her away. She isn't your father, she isn't anyone that we know. If she's wanting to trust us...well you, then you need to trust her. You've taught me that trust is important between humans.

Crew sighed to himself. Yeah, you're right...

"Everything alright Mr. Walker?"

He nodded. "Yeah, thanks for asking. Just in deep thought is all."

"What are you thinking about?" Oh! So now he wants to talk!?

"I'm wondering if I'm ever going to get home is all."

"Princess Luna is very wise and smart. She will shatter the moon to make sure her subjects are okay." Light said with a serious look on his face. "She is very generous when it comes to us who hide in her night."

"You seem to be very prideful in Luna."

He nodded. "She gave me a royal pardon for my crimes if I joined the guard, and swore to protect those who I failed before."

"What'd you do...if you don't mind me asking."

"I murdered my wife for sleeping with too many stallions. At first, it was heart breaking, but after the sixth...I became enraged. She broke my trust too many times....I-I couldn't take it anymore. She kept-"

"Stop there Light, say no more." Crew said kneeling down to hold the station's mouth shut. "Listen to me okay?"

He smiled once Crew let go. Suddenly he saw something standing behind Crew. It was a light gray figure, tall and had two large amber eyes. His eyes grew wide as the figure nodded and vanished away. "Did you see that?" Light pointed behind Crew.

Crew turned around and saw nothing but air. "I don't see anything, are you crazy?"

"N-no! I saw something behind you! I swear!" Light shouted. "It was huge!"

Crew rolled his eyes. "Yeah, alright...Back to my room now." He gave a long yawn. "Ambassadors need to get some sleep, room.  Now."

Light gave a sigh. "Yes, let's go..."

Chapter 5-Part 2: Hope

Celestia paced around the throne room, often looking at the part of the wall Crew had crashed his jet through. It worried her to see such an act. When she saw Crew a few minutes ago, she saw a form with a massive amount of power inside of it. When he spoke, it was like the shadow was guilding his words, speaking with freedom on his mind.

She also found it interesting to see such a form. While she was in thought, she failed to notice the temperature lower a little. Luna was the first to notice it.

"Tia, feels cold in here, does it not?"

Celestia paused her walk, taking in a deep breath. She did feel it. "I do..."

"Why did you make Crew become the ambassador?" This was a question that was burning Luna's very core. "He knows nothing of Equestian life on a day-to-day basis, and he is still looked as an attacker."

Celestia sighed. "I know, but who else do we know? He...had this thing behind him while he spoke...Did you see it's eyes?"

"I did not."

"They were amber. Now tell me, who do WE know that has amber eyes and can vanish and reappear anywhere?"

Luna looked saddened. "He is dead, and you know it. He played his last melody long ago..."

Celestia sniffed with a nod. "What if he is like Twilight and Cadence?"

Luna's ears perked up. "Do you honestly think that he would be inside that human?"

"Think Luna!" Celestia cried out. "His flute was named Aliza because it was named after its maker and his AI is named Alice. His sir name is Walker, Gale Walker. He has the power to fly twice the speed of sound!"

"Yet, you and I know Crew holds no Mana Pathways. He cannot use magic." Luna pointed out with certainty. "Even earth ponies have Mana..."

Celestia nodded and sighed as she sat back down on her throne. "Perhaps Crew hasn't be given his yet....Perhaps....he is not ready?"

"If this were the case Tia, why? Why hasn't our love given Crew his magic yet."

Celestia closed her eyes, trying to rebuild the shadow. It stood over Crew by at least two heads, and Crew was taller than Luna. Gale was always the tallest. Even if it were for a flicker of a second, alicorn minds, especially her's, could process things a millisecond at a time. Immortals could think like no other. The amber eyes glowed faintly behind him.

"I don't know Luna... I don't know....Wait!" She jumped up. "That's it! He needs freedom!"

"The freedom he spoke about is here in Equestria sister what do you mean?"

"Gale always spoke of being free, how the sky he claimed his would be open to those who wished to reach it!" A spark ignited in Celestia's eyes. "Gale! I will help you!"

"Tia! Please explain."

Celestia turned to Luna, smiling wildly. "Gale will soon be with us, and this meeting with the Griffins will do just that. Freedom for you Gale, freedom for us all..."

Unknown to them all, a shadow had been hanging over them. It looked over the two alicorns with a soft smile on its face.

It is not freedom that I want my loves... He looked to where his new incarnation lay. He was in the library, reading about him. Gale's magic made a sigh. Soon though, everything will be clear...Wait my loves, I shall return soon to you with my new form. He shifted with the wind and dissipated.
