Now that Scootaloo was free and learned her lesson, and now that Spring knew why she was born and Blitz had a new power, what now? It's been two days since the burning of the asylum, and just about everything had happened within that time; Bass Drop tried to kill me again, Order and her cohorts tried to kill me again, and Blitz began training with Rage Quit to try and unlock that most likely invaluable power again. Yep, defiantly an eventful two days to say the least...

"Midnight! Dinner!" shouted my mom from the dining hall. The entire day I had been talking with my friends, with the exception of Blitz, on how we should go about finding Order and stopping her for good. So far, we had nothing. But right now, I was hungry.

"Coming mom!" I shouted back. Before I could go downstairs however, I was halted by the ring of the telephone Princess Luna had given me for my 10th birthday. It was a cream phone shaped like a crescent moon with a white holder. The phone part shook around whenever it rung.

"Hold on mom, it's the phone!" I shouted downstairs.

"Don't be long! Your food's going to get cold!" shouted my mother back.

I rushed over to the phone next to my bed and picked it up with my magic. I then laid on my back on my bed and listened into what the pony on the other end had to say.

"Prince Midnight Sparkle, how can I help you?" I asked speaking into the phone as I smiled.

"Midnight?" asked the familiar voice of Rage Quit "I am truly sorry for the intrusion for whatever you may be doing right now, but this is urgent."

"Ragey?" I questioned "When did you get a telephone?"

"I am currently using the one at Miss Fluttershy's cottage" explained Rage Quit "That's not important right now however. What's important is if you know where the hospital is."

"Well, yes but-" I was cut off by the sound of the phone moving into another's hooves as well as somepony saying 'Give me that...'.

"Midnight?" asked Blitz "Get Princess Twilight and your family! Fluttershy is having her foal right now!"

"Oh, well okay the- WHAT!" I shouted into the phone, more than likely hurting my friend's ears "Hold on, where's B?"

"She's gone out for some grocery shopping" explained my best friend "Rage Quit and I we're passing over Fluttershy's cottage when we heard moaning and panting... well, you get the picture..."

"Alright, we'll be there!" I said before I hung up and rushed down the stairs to go get my family. I entered the dining room where my family was waiting for me to sit down.

"Midnight! There you are!" greeted my father as he patiently awaited for me to sit down so he could eat "Who was that on the phone?"

"It was Blitz!" I told my family "He's at Fluttershy's cottage! She's having her foal!"

My mom stood up from her table seat with a shocked expression. Halley sorta just looked awestruck and my father did a spit-take... unfortunately on my face. I suppose I shoudl be glad he was just drinking water and not something hot like coffee.

"C'mon, everypony!" shouted my mother "We need to help Fluttershy!"

Spring Blossom's P.O.V.

Boy was my day just about to get ten-thousand times better. My mom had told me to go and get a few groceries for the week. Just another boring evening in the life of Spring Blossom. Maybe if I went shopping earlier today, it wouldn't be so bad since I could shop while Bass Drop tried to kill Midnight again. How she always got away with it I will never know...

I was currently at the carrot stand, talking with Carrot Top and about to purchase a bundle of carrots when all of a sudden I heard Blitz's voice call to me.

"SPRING!" he yelled before as he flew up to me and landed next to me.

"Blitz?" I asked "What're you doing here? I thought you were training with Rage Quit."

"Long story!" Blitz quickly said "I can't talk now, you have to hurry! Your mother's having a foal!"

I dropped the carrots I had in my hand on the ground. My jaw was wide open and my eyes were as wide as saucers, not from shock however, but from pure happiness. My eyes glittered as soon as Blitz spoke those words.

"R-really?!" I said with a huge smile "Then in that case, let's go to... um... where is my mom right now?"

"Right now she's on her way to Ponyville hospital" explained Blitz.

"Then let's go!" I triumphantly said before I realized something "Wait, which road is she on to the Ponyville hospital?"

Springy, there's only one..." facehoofed Blitz.

"Oh, right..." I blushed with a grin "I'm sorry! I'm just so excited!"

"Well, you can be even more excited when your new baby... um... whatever arrives" said Blitz, not exactly knowing what gender my new sibling was going to be "Let's not keep everypony waiting any longer."

"Ugh... is she here yet?" asked Halley who was referring to Fluttershy "I mean, how long does it take to get ready for birth?"

All my friends and their parents, with the exception of my mother and Rage Quit; the former in labor and the latter wishing to stay away from Twilight's sight, were here in the waiting room, patiently waiting for my mom to get ready for birthing. We all sat quietly, even Pinkie Pie and Bubblegum, until of course Halley broke the silence.

"Halley, don't be rude..." lightly scolded Twilight "I know it's exciting, but try to stay calm, okay?"

"*sigh*... okay mom..." sighed Halley Comet.

"Hey! Look!" said Bubblegum "Over there! There she is!"

We all looked at where Bubblegum was pointing. Low and behold behind the window of the waiting room, my mom was slowly walking toward the delivery room dressed in a light blue and white checkered pattern robe, being guided by Nurse Redheart and her 25-year-old son who only recently began working here. I think his name was Doctor Marky-ply-err?

My mom turned to see us and smiled, before wincing in pain. The window was sound-proofed, so we couldn't hear her or anything that happened behind it.

"I do hope dearest Fluttershy is okay..." said Ribbon.

"Ah'm sure she'll be fine" reassured Little Mac "It's kinda funny actually. Ere' ah thought Springy would be freakin' out bout' er' mum!"

"I... kinda am actually..." I said honestly "I just decided to keep it to myself."

"Well, if Fluttershy managed to put up with giving birth to you, she'll be just fine!" joked Midnight.

"Hey, wise guy!" I smiled as I lightly punched him on the shoulder.

"You know how perfect they would be for each other, dearest brother?" whispered Ribbon into her brother's ear.

"I know exactly" whispered Thread back to her "The thing is, they know they like each other. They're just afraid that the other would reject them. I really do wish they would just admit their love."

"Hmm? What're you guys talking about?" I asked the fraternal twins.

"Oh us?" Ribbon said "Oh, you know... stuff... heh..."

"You two are terrible liars..." I deadpanned.

"Well, perhaps we simply wish to keep it a secret" Thread convinced me.

"Fine..."

"So... what now?" asked Rainbow "Do we like... sit down and tell stories... or what?"

"Oh, that's right!" Midnight said "You haven't been in the waiting room for a while, have you? You were busy giving birth to that little bundle of joy in your hooves..." he pointed to Whirlwind who happened to be sucking her own hoof whilst in Rainbow's arms "Well, when we were here last time, we played a game of 'How the hay Pinkie Pie, Cheese Sandwich and Bubblegum manage to break the fourth wall all the time'. We managed to come to the conclusion that they're all agents working for Hasbro to spy on our every move."

"And are they?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"No, but it's still an interesting thought..." concluded Midnight.

"Or are we?!" mysteriously shouted Pinkie.

"Mum, I'm pretty sure we aren't" spoke Bubblegum.

"Oh, right" giggled Pinkie "My bad!"

"Thought that would be pretty cool!" Cheese Sandwich exclaimed "Us all being secret agents? Sign me up!"

"You would certainly make a better agent than somepony else I used to know" said an oddly familiar voice say from around the corner of the door leading out of the waiting room. Before anypony could ask who's voice it was, Rage Quit appeared in the doorway, still with his black robe on his body.

"And just who the hay are you?" Twilight asked the light blue Pegasus with not anger, but slight confusion.

"Midnight, have you not told her yet?" Rage Quit asked the young prince.

"I kinda wanted to keep it a secret!" Midnight argued "I'm not sure how well of a conversation about this would go! 'Hey mom, meet the stallion that tried to kill me a few days ago!' wouldn't exactly be ideal!"

"He tried to what?!" shouted the Princess of Friendship at both her son and Rage Quit.

"Mom, he's fine!" the lavender prince tried to reason with his mother "We're all cool now, okay?"

"Princess Twilight, I can assure you that-" Rage Quit said before getting interrupted by Twilight.

"Don't call me that!" she shouted "Do you have any idea that this is my son?! Why I ought to-"

"Twilight, please, settle down" Bookworm tried to calm down his wife "I'm sure it was all in the past and now this stallion here is working for us. And if Midnight seems okay with him, then I am as well. Please just let him stay and please try not to shout. This is a happy day anyway, right?"

"I... I..." the lavender princess tried to find words to rant further, but she was won over "...fine. But any funny business and you're fried like roast chicken. Got it?"

"O-Of course, Princess Twilight Sparkle" Rage actually stuttered a bit, which means Twilight actually spooked him.

"Well, why don't we learn a bit more about Rage Quit's past?" suggested Bookworm "I mean, I'm sure we'd all like to know now that he's here, right?"

"Well, I suppose I could tell you a few good things that have happened throughout my life..." said Rage Quit "Being over 2000 years old, I suppose I would have some happy memories, right? Nearly all my memories before I joined Order were happy, save for a few..."

"You're over 2000 years old?" Pinkie asked "Holey Moley! That makes you super duper old!"

"Thank you for reminding me, Ms. Pinkie Pie" the light blue stallion gave his best shot at sarcasm.

"Don't keep us waiting Ragey!" I said "Why don't you tell us about your wife, hmm?"

"Do you mean Snowy?" asked Rage Quit "Well, she's the reason I joined Order in the first place. She had died from an unidentified disease whilst pregnant with our foal. I isolated myself afterwards. Then Order found me, and you know the rest..."

"That's quite sad..." Fancy Pants spoke finally "But were there any fond memories of her?"

"Quite a few, yes" Rage answered "Our times picnicking together in the park, our grand marriage, us finding out that she was with a foal..."

"Only for it to come crumbling down..." Midnight said sadly before perking back up again "But from what Spring tells me, Fluttershy's taken a good interest in you."

"She has?!" said literally every single parent present to Rage Quit.

"I would appear so" Rage nodded in confirmation "Though, I think it's merely a one-sided crush. I am sure that she'll get over it in a month or two."

"Now listen 'ere, pardner" Applejack spoke up "Fluttershy's been havin' some problems findin' a good stallion so she can raise 'er kids a lot better. Y'all dun have ta date 'er, but it would be much appreciated."

As if on cue, we all heard the ear-crushing scream of Fluttershy trying to give birth in the room right next to this one. She was a quiet mare, but when she was loud, she was very loud.

"Holy cow" Midnight said after the scream stopped "Sounds like she's trying to lift two Ursa Majors at once."

"Midnight, try to be a bit nicer, okay?" Twilight asked, to which her son nodded.

"In any case, it sounds like Fluttershy is nearly finished" Blitz stated.

"Yeah! Then we can have a Very First Birthday Party!" Bubblegum exclaimed "I can get the streamers, and the cake, and the little baby toys too! Oooooooh, it's going to be SO much FUN!!"

"Ah dun think a little foal can appreciate such a grand party" Little Mac stated "Besides, ah'm sure Fluttershy an' Spring jus' want a day alone with their new addition."

"Awww..." Bubblegum's excitement shrank down before she quickly perked up once more "But that doesn't mean we can't have an US party!"

"'Ere's jus' no stoppin' ya, is 'ere, Bubble?" the orange colt sighed.

"Nope! I'm one-hundred percent unstoppable!" the poofy pink maned mare said proudly.

Suddenly, we all heard a knock at the waiting room door. Nurse Redheart entered the room with a smile on her face. We all looked at her with faces of both concern and excitement. She then turned her direction to me.

"Miss Spring Blossom?" she asked "There's somepony here who wants to meet you."

I honestly couldn't contain my excitement. I got up from my seat and walked with Nurse Redheart to the delivery room. Nurse Redheart turned around and said in a kind voice "Everypony else can see the new foal when we're ready."

That being said, she turned back and began walking with me to the delivery room. As we entered said delivery room, the very first pony I saw was my mother smiling and cuddling something in bed. As I got closer, I saw that it was my new baby sibling. As I looked over my mom from beside her bed, she slowly looked up and smiled.

"Hello there Springy..." she said in a kind yet extremely tired voice "Do you want to say hello to your new baby brother?"

I nodded furiously. My mother slowly released my new brother so I could pick him up with the softness of my wings. I pulled up a chair so I could hold him with my front hooves. He was, oddly enough, a Unicorn. He had a cyan coat and a short pink mane. He slowly opened his eyelids to reveal his big green eyes with a hint of blue in them. He then smiled and giggled, all the while gumming my long white mane. I began to cry in pure happiness.

"Hello there, little one..." I said as I smiled, tears running down my cheeks "Welcome to the world."

"His name is Summer" spoke my mother "Summer Rain. I know it sounds a touch girly, but we could all just call him Rainy for short, right?"

"I think it's a great name..." I said "Summer Rain... my little Rainy..."

Eventually, everypony else was allowed into the delivery room. They all squealed at the sight of my new baby brother. All save for Rage Quit. He slowly approached Rainy who was still being held in my arms, knelled down and touched him on his cheek with his left front hoof.

"A new life is born this day" he said "Absolutely beautiful..."

"Rage Quit," spoke my mother. He and everypony else turned to face her "Since my previous husband, from what Springy here tells me, abandoned me, would you like be this little one's daddy?"

Everybody gasped at my mother's request, including me and Rage Quit.

"But, Miss Fluttershy I..." began Rage Quit before being interrupted by my mom.

"Rage Quit, I would like that a lot of you could..." she said softly "I know that you're wife had passed away a long time ago, and I also know that we haven't known each other for that long either, but I think you're kind of cute. Plus, Snowy would want you to live happy, right?"

"Yes..." he said "I should move on... she would want that..." he closed his eyes and smiled "Snowy would want me to be happy..."

Aww, well isn't that sweet? And welcome Summer Rain to my universe! May you one day be a main character later in my series.

Speaking of universes, my world isn't going to be post-canon for very much longer with the fifth season rising out from the ashes this fall/spring, which, by the way, I'm VERY excited for! The show can only move up from here! And, for their 100th episode, Hasbro's doing a special on the background ponies we bronies and pegasisters have created! Doesn't that excite you?!

BTW, Markiplier reference. Mark is my favourite YouTuber ever, so naturally, I'd make a small reference of him. He's awesome, and I hope he stays awesome for years to come!
