You can't simply stop! You were raised from the beginning to kill! There is nothing you can do about it now! If you have the balls to kill your old man than go ahead and hope you kill me with the first strike, cause you won't last long if you miss!
The air was cold and pierced through the dark silence of the night. The moon hung high in the air, it was midnight. The witching hour. Pinkie knew the time well. When the sun is far enough away that there is only the light of the moon to keep a watchful eye on those that are still awake. She had once loved Princess Luna's nights. But now the night serves as a cruel reminder of the events she caused. All the blood that was on her hands now were that of her own family.
The dark overgrowth of the Everfree did nothing more than cast large shadows threatening to engulf her in their burning and looming shapes. The dry dirt crunched under her sneakers, the sound echoing in her bright red ears burning as she listened to her slowed heart beat thumping loudly in her head. Her chest aching and heaving with each breath taken in and taken out.
Those haunting words of her father repeated in her mind. She held her arms tightly woven over her chest. Pinkie limped along the long road leading out of Knoxville, just twenty miles east of Ponyville. Pinkie gasped hard with every breath. Blood dripped from gashes along her shoulders, arms, cheeks and face, legs, and one along her neck. Her plain pink tee shirt was now stained with crimson blood. Whether it was hers or that of one of her family's, she did not know. But she did know she would not last long. Her young eighteen year old body was not ready for wounds like these. Sure she had developed a pain tolerance for what her parents and family did but she never had these many cuts and broken bones before. She shuffled down the road, the wind lightly dancing over her trying to ease her pain but ultimately only numbed what had already existed there.
She walked along the right side of the dirt road leading towards Ponyville. She needed to start over some how, forget all of the horrible things she did and all the things her family did. They left nothing to the imagination. Cannibalism. Sadism. Murder. Incest. Rape. They did it all. And she hated herself for participating in it. She had heard of soldiers who never get over war and suffer severe cases of PTSD. She was going through it all right now. She felt the onrush of emotions when she first felt blood fall in between her fingers and over her face. She clenched her eyes closed remembering back to the pleasure she felt. The fact she held the power of holding the fate of someone's life in her hands, it was exhilarating. The cruel and twisted smile she held as she pulled that person apart limb by limb was excruciating.
Her father repeated in her mind, "Your soul is already as black as mine...just remember that..."
Pinkie stopped and clenched her hands tightly at her sides. She held her eyes shut and growled, "You made me what I am. I never wanted any of this..."
Her side flared in fiery pain. She grunted and breathed heavily, collapsing to her knees. It felt as if her sides were going to split in half, her back stung with the many lashings she had received before she killed her family. Her breaths were sharp and each time she exhaled her breaths were becoming shorter and shorter.
She stayed there kneeling in the dirt, clutching her wounds hard and lamenting of all the terrible things she had done. The dark overgrowth of the Everfree did nothing to alleviate her dark emotions. There was an eerie gale that blew past her. Wood creaking and owls hooting ominously in the distance. The darkness of night filled the corners of her vision. She clenched every she could and tried to muscle through the pain. But she heard foot steps approach her and her heart racing and the onrush of adrenaline kicked back in. The foot steps stopped in front of her and her mothers voice said, "You have been a naughty girl. I am afraid that I must punish you for your misdeeds."
Her heart sank and fear spread across her face. She looked up and saw her mother towering above her. There was only a few things in this world that frightened her, one of them was her mother's punishments. Most of them involved lashings or some other form of stinging pain. She fled back as fast as she could with her broken leg. She pleaded, "No! No! Not again! I can't survive another one! Please!"
She felt something hard press against her stinging back. Her fresh wounds exploded with pain and she gasped sharply as she tried to curl up. Blood continued to run down her wounds. She sat at the stump of the tree, her tattered clothing doing nothing at absorbing the red liquid. She cowered and shivered in pain, raising her severely cut arm to her face. She heard the footsteps draw closer and she said, "You've done a bad thing miss."

The air was rather cold, perhaps she should have brought a scarf. Did the weather team know that it was supposed to be this cold? Truth be told, it was autumn but something did not feel right. Rarity slowly shook her head and alleviated her wandering and troubled mind. Although, she did enjoy a nice midnight walk, the nights of Ponyville were a sight to see. The moon shining bright and full in the sky, a disk of pure reflected light. Stars dazzling and twinkling in the calm navy blue sky. A beautiful sight, that did not change with the seasons.
She slowly walked along the dirt road and her pristine alabaster skin shone gently in the night and an aura was about her with the light of the moon. She ran a hand through her dark indigo styled hair. She was careful with her steps however. While she was adventurous, she hated the feeling of dirt against her. It just did not feel right.
Her mind wandered off into a new vision, she was finally alone. Finally away from her nightmare of a father and her little sister now in custody of her mother. A hassle that they did not deserve. She remembered the long nights fearing her father to return heavy with a haze of drunkenness. Now it was all over, she however felt hesitant to move on. Was it truly his fault? He was always under the influence of alcohol, she never met him without that haze of drunkenness.
She was however taken out of her thoughts when she heard the light shuffle of feet against the dirt road she was on. Rarity looked up and about thirty feet away was the shadow of a woman, the fashionista feared her for a split second until she saw that she was limping. Rarity gasped sharply and rose her hand to her mouth and softly whispered to herself, "Oh my..."
Her heart sank when she saw the figure fall to her knees. Rarity carefully rushed over. Her heart and mind poured with questions as she rushed to the woman's side. Why was she injured? What had happened? What was her name? So many questions with so little answers. She slowed down and saw her in full view.
She could not have been more than maybe two years older than Rarity. She was shaken and was shuddering. Blood. Blood all over her. Gashes along her body. Dirt and strain against her face as well. Rarity never saw a more horrible sight. She had seen injuries before, but this...she was literally inches away from death.
Rarity saw the shaken form of a girl in front of her. Rarity calmly asked her, "Oh my...are you okay?"
The pink haired girl looked shakenly up at her. Her eyes were red and puffy and stained with tears. Fear was plastered on her face, her eyes grew wide as she met Rarity's. She stumbled backward and braced herself against the tree. She cried out, "No! No! Not again! I can't survive another one! Please!"
Tears formed in her eyes. Her chest heaved with long and laborious breaths. Each one bringing her closer to death. Rarity's heart felt crushed. She did not know this girl but she was not without a heart. Whatever this girl was subject to seeing, it scarred her. The time for thinking was for a later time, right now she needed to get this girl to a hospital. Rarity feared if she terried any longer then...
Like approaching a wounded animal she had careful steps and walked over slowly. She said aloud in a soothing voice, "Calm down, I'm here to help. Please just let me help you."
The pink haired girl looked shakenly back over at her, with each step she cringed, finally after closing her eyes tight and reopening them she seemed to calm down, only for a few seconds. Quickly she forced herself against the trunk of the tree behind her. She snapped at Rarity, "Stop! Don't help me! No one can..."
Rarity got down on her knee and reached out to touch the girl on the shoulder but she gasped hardly and moved her shoulder. Rarity shot her hand back away from the girl and said trying to soothe her, "Why? What happened?"
"I..." The girl's words were cut short as her entire upper body fell limply forward. Rarity caught her carefully in her arms, blood slowly staining her bleach white blouse. In any other circumstance she would not catch herself dead with something she wore being stained. But that did not matter at that moment. At that moment the only thought that Rarity had was. Save this girl.
Rarity muscled all she could and lifted her carefully. Holding her arm under the girl's knees and her other arm holding the girl's back. Rarity stood up carefully and started walking briskly over to the local hospital. She had a life in her hands now, if she failed then...her death was on her conscience and she was not going to allow this.
She felt the various still bleeding gashes along her body and they were still warm, seeping out and staining Rarity's arms and chest. Rarity as well felt the lash marks on her back, even through the dark pink tee shirt. She could not help but wonder what exactly happened to her, something dreadful and nightmarish no doubt.
She winded her way briskly but carefully to the hospital, she prayed to Celestia above that it was not closed. The hospital was not too big but not too small either. Besides the old town hall and the new town hall it was the largest building in Ponyville, oldest too.
Light illuminated the inside of the hospital, letting a large sigh of relief to wash over her for only a few moments. She stopped at the front door and kicked it open with all the might she had left, holding the girl tight in her chest so she would not fall. The door swung open and Rarity moved inside. She stopped in the middle of the waiting room and shouted the loudest she could, "I need help!"
A new nurse that Rarity knew well, Nurse Redheart, came bursting through the doors from another room. Her eyes went as wide as plates when she saw Rarity holding the pink haired girl in her arms and she called back and a doctor came from the right side of the door. He shoved past Nurse Redheart and he said to her with the tone of a drill sergeant, "Get a gurney, some towels and prepare a room."
"Right away Doctor Strongheart." With that being said she left the room. It was not long that Nurse Redheart came back with a gurney. She pushed through the doors and brought next to Rarity and Doctor Strongheart. Strongheart gently but quickly took the girl's torso and they together set her down on the gurney. Rarity folded her hands together and said with genuine concern, "Will she be okay?"
Strongheart heaved a breath as he finished laying down the girl and replied with a heavy heart, "Too early to tell."
Rarity never felt so concerned before. She never had to do something like this before. Her heart never felt so heavy before. This girl's life was still in her hands, she felt so nervous. She looked down at her blouse. Where once there was white, is now stained red with the blood of someone else. She raised her hands and they were shaking nervously, stained bright red just like her top and her tight jeans. It was then that her stomach heaved against her and she felt something rise up through her throat and threatened to escape. Rarity choked back the vomit long enough to rush into the woman's bathroom and heave it all out.
