When Teresa "Twilight" Sparkle and her little brother Spike are transferred from Canterlot Academy to Ponyville High, Twilight is sent by her best friend Celestia to confirm plans for the Summer Sun Homecoming -- and to make new friends. As Twilight goes throughout her first day of public school, she meets a tomboyish cowgirl, a colorful jock, a sophisticated diva, a shy choir student, and a hyper cheerleader. Convinced that public school kids are crazy, she persists to ignore their attempts to befriend her....that is, until Celestia's rebellious little sister crashes the Homecoming and threatens the students with Celestia's life. Will Twilight learn that life lessons don't always come from books?
