Hi, my name is Nick. To many people, I look like your everyday average teen. going to school, sports, family, all that stuff. Not me, I mean, yes I have a family. I'm no average teen though, I am a Brony, a male who loves My Little Pony. I don't really care about what others think, neither do other people. In fact, to everyone else, I'm just a shadow, a ghost. The only person who knew I even existed was my friend. Though, we only say hi to each other. We would have some conversations, but all we do is say hi and go on with our lives. My parents are sometimes to busy either working or arguing with each other. I had to teach myself how to cook since my parents were always busy. When everyone is asleep in the middle of the night, I would sneak out of my house and climb the highest hill to visit the moon. I always think that the moon is like me, alone, a ghost in the night sky. I would visit the moon everyday, have conversations with it, even sleep with the moon. However when dawn is about to rise. I would return home and gain what sleep I had left. Then one day, I was walking home from school, I was all alone on sidewalk. Thats when I heard it.

"Nick."

"Huh" I turn around, no one was there, I continued to walk.

"Nick!"

"Whose there!" No answer, "show yourself!" Still no answer. I continued to walk. who was that, and how did they know my name. After that, the voice never called my name again. At least, that's what I thought. after the weird voice incident, I arrived at my house to still find my parents in there piles of work. "Hey mom, hey dad." No answer, "good to see you to" I said to myself. I went to my room and place all my stuff by a wall. As always, I stand by myself in my room with a mirror, a TV, and my bed. I decide to walk to the mirror, and when I got there I couldn't believe what I saw. A pony was in my reflection, and real Life pony. I didn't know what was happening, I rubbed my eye's and the pony was gone. Was that me, and why was it in my reflection. I decided to forget about it and go to bed.

It was the middle of the night, and my family was finally asleep. I got out of my bed and started to gather all my supplies. Then, that's when I heard it again.

"Nick."

Now I knew it wasn't my imagination, "who's there, show yourself" I called out in a silent voice. there was no reply, until...

"Look through your mirror to see the truth."

I went to the mirror in the corner of my room and saw my reflection, "ok, you told me to look at the mirror, but all I see is myself"

"Look again"

I turn towards the mirror again and that's when I saw it. a Tannish pony with a black tail and mane was in my reflection, instead of me. "Who are you?" I asked to the pony in the mirror.

"I am you, well, sort of. I am another soul in your body, you see me as a pony because the universe I come from is the one you know as a TV show."

I think back, that's when I realized, "your from Equestria!?!?"

"Yep" pony turn around a continued to talk. "In my universe, I'm known as Lunar Shield, a personal unicorn guard of Princess Luna." The pony turn back towards me "I was researching some spells in one of the castle libraries. By accident I read a spell that sent my soul to a random universe and into a random body, that is your body. But what I didn't know was that I released a entity that now control's my body."

I turn around and walk back from the mirror. I turn back and walked towards the mirror that had the pony in it. "So let me get this straight, your a pony from equestrian that is trapped in my body and you need me to go to Equestria to save Princess Luna from this entity that now controls your body."

"Yep"

I stopped in front of the mirror. I picked it up from the spot it was located at and placed it on my door. "I'll do it. However, on one condition."

"What's that?"

I stare straight into the ponies eye's. "You let me stay in Equestria."

"What!? You can't be serious!"

"Hey, can you keep it down, you might wake up my parents." I told the pony as I tried to calm him down.

"I'm sorry, but you can't stay in equestria, you have life here, with your family and..."

"NO I DON'T!" I yelled in a soft voice again. "You don't even know my life. my life hides behind the shadows of my grade. the only friend I have doesn't even have conversions with me. My own parents, my own fucking parents, don't even talk or respond to me. I have to cook for myself, I have to fend for myself. So don't you dare say I have a life here, all I am in this god damn world is a ghost." As I stared at the lunar shield's eye's I knew he could see anger in my eye's, and in his, I saw... sadness? Why did I see sadness in his eye's. What happened to him.

"I know how you feel, I had no friends why I was a young. My parents never talked to me because they were dead before I could say mom or dad. They protected me to save my life. Every pony laughed at me and told me I was the only filly who had no parents or friends. I had teach my self to cook and I had to find a job to eat and survive. When I went to castle one time, I met Princess Luna, she was so nice to me the first time I saw her. She was giving a speech to the every pony in the castle hall. I notice a strange pony in a hood with a small knife in his pack. I got closer to the stage to be on the safe side, still keeping an eye on the strange pony. The ponies horn glowed and the knife was floating towards the princess. I jumped on the stage and pushed the princess out of the way. Before I knew it, the knife missed it's target and hit the tree behind the stage. The princess afford me a job as her personal guard. I accepted and now the night guard and the princess was my new family. I felt like I was home. So if you want to stay in Equestria, you have to keep a low profile and stay away from the princesses, got it?"

"Got it." I told the pony. I had know idea his life was as hard as mine. he must have felt alone when he was young just like me. He found a new family that actually cared about him. But for me however, I don't even know if my own family an friends care about me.

"Then enter your mirror, the mirror will act as a portal from your universe to mine. The image of lunar shield disappeared and was replaced with a swirling image. I pressed my finger on the mirror and my finger got sucked into the portal. I stepped in and found myself sucked in the mirror. The last words I hear was " this could get bumpy."
