Love is a Powerful Thing

I never was a social person, I never went out, I never made friends, and most of all I never felt loved. Through out my life I was always the one left out of the group and so I just took it upon myself to be that one guy that never talked to anyone. You could say it was my fault in the end, I could have done more to reject this social standing, but I also never was the one to start something.

I'm twenty now, graduated high school and left that awful place two years ago. I thought it would be different once I got out of there but as they say, old habits die hard. Its been two years and still haven't found a job, ever time I got a interview I screwed it up somehow. I'm still living with my mom if you couldn't tell by now, it's not that bad for a twenty year old to still be living with their parents but still, it's just one more truth that I hate to admit to.

It was around this time when I found out about a magical show called, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I'm not going to tell you that this show saved my life or anything like that, it just made it easier to forget things for a little while. I loved everything about the show, the colors, the story, and most of all the ponies. I loved every single one of them, from the mane six, to the nameless background ponies, I loved them all. I would imagine being in Ponyville and living with the mane six all the time, it was the easiest way to escape from my life. But eventually my mother caught on and found out that I wasn't going to interviews anymore and she took the one thing that kept me connected to the ones I loved, my computer. It was just before the Royal Wedding to, it was only a few days away.

I longed to see my loved ones, it had been weeks since then and I've been getting more and more depressed. It had gotten so bad that I did something that I haven't done in a long, long time, I prayed. I prayed to ever God I could think of, even to Celestia herself, and through my tearful praying I heard a voice. A beautiful voice that was filled with so much understanding and love that it made me cry tears of joy just listing to it.

The voice said to me, "I have heard you young one, you wish to be here with us. I can grant you that wish, but only if you agree to but one request."

I yelled, "Yes anything!"

"You must try and open up once you're here, you must become one with the Harmony of this land. If you can do that then you can come here and live with us."

"Yes! I promise that I will change! I will be one with the Harmony of Equestria! I will do anything that you ask!"

After my I yelled to the havens my pledge of change, I was engulfed by a golden white light and was lifted out of my window and into the sky. I was leaving the atmosphere and soon our solar system at incredible speed. When I looked back I couldn't even see the Sun anymore. As I looked ahead the light of the stars were shifting into rays of light. I must have been going faster then the speed of light, but just how fast? Ten times? A hundred times? I couldn't tell you, but before long I couldn't see any light ahead of me, I looked back and saw the last of the light vanish from view. I must have been in the area of space that the explosion of the Big Bang hasn't reached yet. Then out of no where it felt like I broke through something and I was surrounded by white and then ended up back in darkness after the same feeling as before. Before long I could see the stars again and not so long after that I noticed that I was slowing down. I looked ahead and saw a planet, it looked roughly the same as Earth but with different land masses. As I entered the atmosphere I was surrounded by fire that was being shielded by the light surrounding me, but the heat on the other hand was still coming through for the most part and I blacked out from my brain nearly frying.

I... I can't move, the pain is to much. I guess crossing into an other universe and falling through the atmosphere can really fuck someone up.

*Snap Snap Snap*

What was that! Come on body MOVE!

"What is it?"

"I don't know, but it looks familiar."

Voices? God I hope their friendly.

"Now now my subjects, this is our guest. He has come a long way to get here and I'm sure he needs his rest. Take him back home and we will begin."

"At once."
