Twilight Sparkle has a castle. This castle is very impressive, but it's a lot of room for just one pony to fill, especially with Spike away. So, when Rainbow Dash shows up in need of some help, Twilight is more than happy to invite her in.

A sleepover is the logical progression, but when Twilight catches Rainbow Dash doing that, she's more than slightly perplexed. She wants an answer, and Rainbow is happy to give her one.
