An Introduction
This is the story of a boy named Anthony and a complicated turn of events that would eventually decide the fate of equestria. Now Anthony is nobody special, he I just an ordinary kid with an ordinary life, nothing out of the ordinary, unless being a brony counts as extraordinary of course. Dealing with being a brony was quite a hard thing for him to do; he did not have the will to tell his friends just in case he lost them. Being a brony and hanging with his friends was the highlight of his life so far and he did not want it to end so soon. His mother and father had other ideas however as life in England was not going as they had planned, things would go wrong at every turn. Losing their allotment was the final straw, it was time to go back to their home country were everything seemed a lot better at this point. America.
“But Mother, this is so unfair. I was given no say in this at all!” Anthony moaned as his mum helped him pack his clothes.
He was sat down with his arms crossed on the bare bed which was now nothing more than a mattress.
His mother stood up and confronted him.
“Anthony, both me and your father have decided this is the best decision for our family, now stop moaning and help me pack your clothes into the suitcase.”
Anthony stood up himself, knowing what was at stake.
“But what about my friends! What about Clare!”
Anthony’s mother sighed; she knew this would be one of the biggest obstacles she would have to face when she told Anthony.
“Look Anton, I am sorry about this but we need to go back to America. It’s for the best interests of our family.” She said softly, trying to deal with this as best she could.
Anthony knew something was wrong throughout the past fortnight; it seemed that things were getting cheaper and cheaper in the house. Instead of his usual high quality breakfast bars he normally had, it was now just a simple bowl of Tesco’s finest shreddies. He knew his mother was right; she always seemed to be right about everything.
He sighed himself knowing that he could no longer fight against it.
“Ok mother, I guess you’re right.” He said sadly
“Thank you Anton, now please tidy out your room, the delivery lorry will be here tomorrow and I do not want to be late.”
His mother left the room leaving Anthony to slowly walk towards the window and sigh.
“If only things were different.”

Packing everything in his room away was not that hard, he had already been boxing everything up since three days ago when he was first told. He tried his hardest to stop the house move but today was the final try. He stood in the centre of the room, looking around and bringing up memories of every part of the room. Happy memories of him and his friends jumping around on the bed, laughing until they were crying.
Everything came back to reality at once; the room was now a skeleton of its former self, just a shell of everything that it used to be. He spent seven years in this room and now this was his last night in it too.
Anthony grabbed his iPhone out of his pocket and looked at it.
You have 12 new messages
He smiled, knowing that most of those messages were from his friends. This happiness was quickly replaced with sorrow as he knew that he would probably not meet them again until the future, and that’s if they still even remembered him. He got back on his mattress and flicked through the messages. He read each one with detail, not quickly skimming over them like he normally does. Each one was a goodbye from his friends, these messages were not wrote in slang but proper English, showing him that care was put in to them. He continued reading through them until the last message. In red writing was the words “Clare <3”. His finger pressed open slowly and everything he predicted was going to happen did.
Anthony thank you for all of the love you have given me. You have made me happy when I was sad and given me strength when I needed it most. I wish we could be together for longer but I guess your Parents have other plans. Don’t hate them for this; just remember that you have made me happy.
Thank you for everything!
Clare
A small tear drop hit the screen, while she was thanking him this was basically a goodbye for life message and he knew it. His emotions were going crazy with confusion; he did not know whether to be happy or sad. Right now he would rather be happy and YouTube was just a few touches away. If anything else made him happy, it would be six animated ponies and their adventures. One episode in particular that made him smile all day long, a failsafe that he knew he could rely on to make him happy after a horrid day, Winter wrap up. He plugged his headphones in and relaxed, knowing that in a few minutes one particular pony would star the episode; his favourite pony, Twilight Sparkle.

Why does Twilight remind me of somebody, Antony thought as he continued to watch the show. He put the IPhone down but kept listening to the song. The next thought would hit him like a train, sending him from as happy as he could be back to where he started. The last thing he wanted right now.
“Clare, she acts exactly like twilight.”
He looked down at the video and saw Twilight singing her last part of the song.
“Cause tomorrow spring is here,
Cause tomorrow spring is here,
Cause tomorrow spring is here!”
The ponies around her disappear into darkness and she is left with spike, sad and alone.
He was never good at goodbyes
Its been too long since I wrote a chapter, sorry about that. I mainly wrote this story for my friend and when I have time, I will write.
Once again, Sorry for not writing for so long.
Morning came too soon for Anthony, he wanted it to last longer; he wanted everything to last longer right now. His mother got him up early, not normally a problem for him but it seemed that today was going to last a very long time, one of the feelings Anthony got when he sensed a bad day coming. The whole house was bare to the bone now, stripped of all memories it once contained; for Anthony it was like they were already in a new house entirely.
He spent the little remaining time he had left by himself in his den outside; it was a makeshift job but over the years became a good place to hang out after a long day at school. The den was like a tree house, generally made up of wooden planks and nails. It was not perfect, but he never wanted it to be.
He flopped onto a beanbag in the middle of the room; this was generally the normal routine for most days of the week. He stared at the walls around him; each one had been doodled on like crazy. These doodles were an idea from one of his friends; they would come round for a while and writing what they wanted to. His eyes scanned the wall until he found what he was looking for, right in the centre of the scribbles was an engraved love heart with the words A + C inside of it. That was the day when he first met Clare, a day that he wanted to remember forever.
“ANTHONY! WHERE ARE YOU?” A familiar voice boomed across the garden.
“I guess it’s time.” He sighed as he got out of the beanbag.
In a quick dash he took down most of the photos, he did not care much for the doodling; it was mixed up garbage anyway. He grabbed the beanbag and looked around his den for the last time, focusing on one particular piece of wood.
“Good bye Clare.” He said as he walked out the den, knowing that it would be the last time he would ever see it again.

It was not long before Anthony’s mother found him again; it seemed she always knew where he was even if he didn’t tell her. Anthony faced the car he would be in for about three hours, it would be long but at least he had things to do while he was waiting. With everything now ready to go, the delivery van left the now abandoned house.
“Come on Anthony, we’re going to be late for the plane at this rate.”
Accepting his fate, Anthony got into the car and looked at the house from the rear of the window. The car started and he watched as his house slowly became smaller and smaller as the car drove off, only leaving a small trail of smoke behind. Depressing thought flooded Anthony’s mind as the house became too small to see and eventually left him completely.
He sighed as he faced forward again; he needed something to cheer him up, badly. He stuck his headphones in and sat up.
“I suppose re-watching season two would not be a bad idea.”

*Ding Ding* American Flight One two five nine to Palm Springs California is leaving in fifteen minutes, please may passengers start to move to the boarding gate, Thank you.” *Ding Ding*
Anthony thought that he could not get any more bored than he already was, the car trip to Heathrow had definitely taken its toll and he still had another eleven hours to wait on the plane. He had already got accustomed to traveling by plane due the many times he had been on holiday but most of the time it only took two hours to reach the destination, eleven seemed impossible. He needed to be ready.
“Mum, I’m going to the toilets ok.”
“Ok Anton, be quick though, you heard the announcer.”
“Yes mum”
Anthony got out of his seat, apart from wanting to get ready for the long hours ahead he desperately needed something to do. He walked down the polished marble flooring towards the direction of the toilets. Even this was a task as a crowd of people rushing in different direction almost made the airport into a maze, thankfully the toilets were nearby. As Anthony walked down the small corridor into the gents section of the toilets something felt off, wrong somehow. The chaotic sounds of the airport seemed to mute like a vacuum as the door closed behind him.
Quiet chuckling seemed to echo through the room. It sounded surreal, like a ghost laughing at the living but could never be heard. Puzzled by this, Anthony checked around the whole room but nobody was there. Perhaps he was just hearing things. Anthony had to admit to himself, he was shattered; he could not sleep during the car journey and was planning to during the flight. Suddenly, something caught his eye in one of the mirrors by the sinks; he turned around to see something zigzag across all of the mirrors in the room, something familiar. It was there one second then gone the next. Anthony walked towards the mirrors and looked down at the sink.
“Ok, sleep deprivation; I should have seen this coming.”
Anthony turned on the tap and splashed water in his face to wake himself up, not the best thing to do but he needed to stay awake for a bit longer, and perhaps stop him from hallucinating. He swore that he just saw what looked like a dragon dart across the mirrors, but assumed that he was just imagining it. He opened the door back out to the main lounge of the airport. The once silent bathroom roared to life as the chaotic sounds of the airport came rushing in, making Anthony jump. He quickly walked back to his seat to see his mother waving to him at the boarding gate. It was time to board and Anthony could not be any happier about it.
He was all set, strapped into his seat by his seat belt, a nice pillow to rest his head on and his iPod’s music, not heavy rock bands but nice calm music. After a good night by his mother, Anthony’s head hit the pillow like a brick; he closed his eyes and let his mind have a well needed rest.

Twilight paused for a second, and then continued to stare at the strange book. She knew it was not her own, yet she found it in-between the scattered books that lay open on the floor. Something was very off about it, but she could not place her hoof on it.
“Twilight! Come on! I thought you promised me that you would not start reading another book until we finished re-ordering everything!” Spike moaned as he pushed another book back on the shelf.
Twilight sighed, it’s hard to put a new book down, but work was work and it needed to be done.
“Fine Spike, give me a second.” Twilight placed the book on her desk for later. One constant thought stayed in her head the entire time, what was contained in this mysterious book?
