Ponyville. Another day with a new dawn. Like every day Rarity gets up to do her daily routine when waking up in her bed. She comes up to her wardrobe desk and mirror to comb her curly purple mane. She even sprays perfume on her cheeks, with the scent of apricot mango. She adds the make-up lining on her eyebrows, fluttering them to get the tire look out of her eyes.

“Time to rise and shine.” she cheers.

A knock on her door then sounds, for the mixed building that has her home and shop combined. She hears the ring, and trots downstairs to see who’s there. In delight, she rushes up to hug Spike.

“Oh, Spikey Wikey!” Rarity grins, “Thank you so much for coming.”

“Hey, anything for you Rarity.” Spike smiles, “Um, you’re squeezing me too tight though.”

Rarity lets go, embarrassed.

“Sorry.” she giggles.

Sweetie Belle suddenly appears behind her sister, just waking up bit by bit. She smiles at Spike’s presence.

“Good morning.” Sweetie Belle chimes, “Just to let you know, I made my own breakfast in bed to hurry things up before.”

“Hmmm…. how inelegant.” Rarity sighs.

“But it was useful. I made myself pancakes, and now I’m ready to help quickly as possible.” Sweetie Belle adds.

“Well, that IS a good thing.” Rarity grins.

“So what will make today?” Sweetie Belle asks.

“We… will be making the one and only… FLOWER DRESS… for PRINCESS CELESTIA!” Rarity announces.

“We’re… making a dress for the princess? SWEET!” Spike jumps.

“What’s the occasion?” Sweetie Belle wonders.

“Celestia is going to attend Prince Storm’s first ever friendship ball at the griffon kingdom.” Rarity said, “Ah… I’ll imagine she’ll shine like a star in front of her fellow citizens…”

“Um… should we get to work then?” Spike asks.

“Of course! First, Sweetie Belle… get me silk sloth so I can start making the sleeve rims.” the fashion unicorn instructs.

Sweetie Belle jumps to it without making any protest.

“Spike… you don’t think you can go to Fluttershy’s house to ask for some flowers, do you?” Rarity asks him.

“Of course! I’m sure she won’t refuse.” Spike smiles.

“She better not.” Rarity huffs, “This dress is dire for the princess’s occasion.”

Spike runs out of her house to go to Fluttershy’s in a jiffy.

Princess Celestia was riding on her floating chariot being pulled by the pegasi guards. Her sister also sits by her side, overlooking the gorgeous view of all the plants and flowers shining with love and happiness. Red and blue roses mix with the white ones, to make a epic combination of the feeling of freedom. They even see the fir trees blending in with the strong, might oaks that are as high as a mountain. Soon, the two of them look over the griffon kingdom, and all the festivities beaming from below.

“How much longer to Ponyville?” Celestia asks the pulling guard.

“At least thirty minutes.” the guard answers.

“You sure you want to check on Rarity this early?” Luna asks her sister, “I think Rarity thinks best when she does her work on progress in secret. She really wants to surprise you.”

“Yes, that’s like her.” Celestia smiles, “Very generous and careful.”

Celestia then turns to explore the sky around them. It’s all blue, and the rainbows are being shone with the hard work of the pegasi ponies in their cloud city. Black ravens and crows mix their flock in harmony, which is rare for anypony to see. But given that this is a peaceful sight, it makes Celestia feel like the day is going perfect.

She then turns to see something else…

Wait… what is that?

It’s really odd, but the cloud she’s looking at is all nothing but red, with a little hint of grey. It’s blood red to be exact.

“Um, Luna?” Celestia taps her sister, “You don’t find this suspicious, do you?”

Luna turns to see the red cloud.

“It’s probably… saturation from the sun.” Luna considers, “I really think it’s nothing serious. If it is, I’ll have the guards surround it so it can be brought back for research.”

“You really know how to make me calm.” Celestia said, “But you may be right, it’s probably nothing serious. However, it looks… demonic…”

Luna takes this concern of her into consideration as they ride on. Little did they know, the cloud rumbles louder, and it’s heading STRAIGHT to Ponyville.

Spike climbs up the hilly trail that leads to the quiet, bird fluttering, tree house that Fluttershy is waking up in. She comes out her home door, to have Discord poof in front of her. He even brought William along, having him land flat to the ground.

“Good morning Fluttershy.” Discord squees, in a puppy sounding voice.

“Good morning Discord.” Fluttershy smiles, hugging him and William.

“And good morning to you too.” Spike greets, coming up to them.

“Hey Spike!” Discord squeaks, add in in the group hug with the Pegasus and worm.

The makes Spike giggle with the nuzzling, while William shudders in irritation.

“Well this is sappy…” William sighs, “Why am I even here anyway?”

“To help Fluttershy do some spring cleaning.” Discord replies, magically putting a mop and bucket in his hands, along in William’s. (Well, invisible hands, to be precise.)

“And I’m here for some flowers, do you mind?” Spike asks Fluttershy, “Rarity needs them to make that dress for Celestia.”

“Oh, how exciting for her!” Fluttershy said, “I think I have some beautiful plants you can use from the garden, I’ll be right back.”

Fluttershy trots through her house, as Spike hangs out with William and Discord.

“So, are you guys going to the ball at the griffon kingdom?” Spike asks them.

“Certainly!” Discord said, poofing a tuxedo suit on himself, “I’m most certainly looking forward to be elegant like Rarity!”

“Well, I’m going to make my romantic move on Applejack… if you know what I mean.” William purrs, with a crazy sexy growl.

“Oh goodness…” Discord sighs, annoyed.

“Still into the hots for her?” Spike asks.

“Yeah, but she wasn’t annoyed at me this morning because I tried to impress her.” said William, “She was more concerned about… something else.”

“What do you mean?” Spike asks.

William shudders.

“This morning, I was with Applejack along with her sister and brother. We were… say… getting those special apples planted by… you, Discord.” William summarizes.

“What? She has a problem with my magic again?” Discord sighs.

“No… we just discovered bats… for her, she cringes seeing them again.”

“Another bat problem?” Spike breathes out, “I hope she doesn’t tempt Fluttershy to become a bat again.”

“But… the bats looked different from ordinary… fruit bats.” William shook, “They were… AROUND A DEAD COW BODY… near Applejack’s orchard!”

“WAIT, WHAT?” Spike shouts.

“It was really creepy, but the bats there were focusing on the rotting bones and muscles of that cow citizen of this town. Applejack called the police… yet.. the bats. They were literally sucking all the blood, you can’t even imagine how many drops!”

“Wow…” Spike said in awe, “That DOES sound serious.”

“And it was the same cow victim that went missing in Ponyville last week.” William adds.

“Murder. Murder. Murder. That is certainly wrong.” Discord said, rubbing his head.

He then looks up, to see something off in the sky.

It was the same red cloud Celestia and Luna noticed before, only this time, it’s BIGGER!

“I don’t want THAT heading towards us.” Discord comments about the cloud.

“It’s probably nothing.” Spike reassures.

“That’s what Celestia or Luna might say.” Discord sighs.

Fluttershy then comes out through the door, holding a basket of perineum flowers, that have colors of gold silver, red, white, orange, and yellow.

“WOW, Thanks.” Spike smiles, taking the basket, “Rarity will love those!”

“Have a nice day.” Fluttershy coos.

Spike then runs down, returning to Rarity’s shop through the hilly path.

Spike charges through the door, having Rarity shocked that he kicked it open.

“Manners dear.” she puffs, making the final touches of the dress, “This is a PEACEFUL shop.”

“Sorry.” Spike said, embarrassed.

Rarity then turns to smile at him.

“No matter, it’s not a big deal.” she replies, “And you’re right on time. I’m just near done with this piece of fine fashion!”

She has her magic lift the flowers up from the basket Spike is holding, having the plants float to her. She glues them on real lightly, without making any stain marks.

“A little of that… and a little of…” Rarity hums.

SNIP. SNIP. SNIP.

“DONE!” Rarity cheers, “Well, what do you think?”

Spike and Sweetie Belle look at her finished work. The gown rim of the dress is all transparent white, like something worn at a wedding. The flowers covering the sections of the sleeves, dress collar, and leggings of the dress is all pure and bright. The rest of the color choices on the dress is all shiny, pearl white.

“It looks… beautiful.” Sweetie Belle compliments.

“I agree.” a voice says behind them.

Rarity turns to see that Celestia has arrived, with a pleased look on her face. She comes of to Rarity’s final work, laughing in happiness. The guards stay close to Luna, as she enters the shop. A couple more than come up by Celestia, and are too impressed by Rarity’s fine work.

“It’s perfect.” Celestia applauds, “I really appreciate this.”

“I’m glad.” Rarity beams in pride, “We certainly didn’t want to…”

BLAM!

The sudden banging noise instantly repeats itself louder and louder, as all the characters in the room look around, wondering what it is.

“What was that?” Celestia asks, worried.

“Stay inside princesses!” the guards tell her and Luna, “We’ll check it out.”

There are six guards overall, near the building to protect Celestia and Luna. The four guards inside charge out to meet up with the last two. They nod, agreeing to look around where the sudden bang came from. They go around Rarity’s shop, seeing if the crash happened around the building.

“YAAAAAAAA!”

Screams and laughter then rise in their surroundings, until….

“ARGGGGGH!”

A sudden flash lands on the all six guards from corner to turn, trapping them to the ground. They look up to see who’s pinning them. They look like ponies… but…

“HISSSSSS!” the bloodthirsty creatures breath out sadistically.

The guards didn’t know if they’re undead or infected, but before they put it together, bites are made on their necks, having ALL THE BLOOD being DRUNK out of them!

Inside the shop, Celestia becomes bewildered and scared at the sounds rising round the building. She, Luna, Spike, Rarity, and Sweetie Belle feels trapped. And worse, the guards hasn’t come back inside. This concerns Celestia bigger than before.

“I’m going out to see what’s happening.” Celestia decides.

“Sister! It may be dangerous!” Luna cautions.

“And Twilight doesn’t know about this either!” Celestia adds, “I think it’s best I go to her so we can BOTH investigate.”

Luna nods, understanding.

“I’ll be back, and I’ll be safe.” Celestia promises.

“Keep that promise.” Luna said.

Celestia than charges out the door running to the direction of Twilight’s castle. She turns to see the assailants and gasps. They must be…

“Vampire ponies…” Celestia whispers to herself.

The dark tone colored, wretched winged, shaggy beings then perk their ears up. To Celestia’s horror, they discovered her!

“GET HER!” the second vampire pony shouts.

There are about ten of them, and they charge toward the running princess. Celestia can see this a pro too. She’s distracting them to keep them away from Luna and the others, so they won’t harm them.

FLASH!

Celestia gasps as she sees newer vampire ponies in front of her. They though ahead of her plans, and now they’ll blocking her path! But that doesn’t stop Celestia. She turns to dodge their upcoming attacks, heading through the streets of Ponyville.

“Oh no…” Celestia gasps in terror.

It was a shocking discovery to the princess, but ALLL BUILDINGS ARE SET ABLAZE! Innocent ponies are also running through the streets and crashing through the windows, attempting to get away from MORE VAMPIRE PONIES. Celestia can also see the change coming to one of the victims after a brief bite from those monsters. The shaking of that pony is wild and uncontrolled, leading to foam mixing with white, grey, and red. They finally rise up, roaring for more blood and flesh to feed on.

Celestia couldn’t notice anypony else because of focusing to get away and protect other ponies, but up on the rooftops is Blade.

The black earth pony clutches onto his sword, as he looks through his sunglasses deep and carefully. His eyes focus on the princess, gathering some of the Ponyville citizens to come follow her, such as Mr. and Mrs. Cake with their babies, and Derpy. He jumps over the rooftops to sense where they might turn next.

To make things bad, Celestia and the other ponies eventually run into a dead end of an alleyway. Celestia turns around to light her magical horn, but the vampire ponies coming their way shoot something at it. In a minute, Celestia gasps. She isn’t going to be infected, but the mysterious goo on her horn is making her powerless, powerless enough to be unable to fight the enemy.

“NO ESCAPE…” the vampire creatures sneer.

“BUT THERE IS, SUCKERS!” the voice above them calls.

“WHAT? WHO DARES CALL US THAT!” the second vampire pony demands.

Blade then comes into play, landing hard on the ground between Celestia and the vampires. He was the voice, and he poses his stance to fight anytime.

“I dare to.” Blade smirks.

“Well, it’s the Ex-Son of our King Blade. GUESS WHAT, YOUR FATHER IS WAY ANGRY WITH YOU, AND HE IS ON HIS WAY HERE TO TURN EQUESTRIA INTO HIS VAMPIRE HUB. NO ONE WILL STOP US.” the first vampire pony said.

“King Blade?” Celestia wonders.

She heard that name before… it could be somepony… dangerous…

“You are doing evil and you must be stopped. Family or no family, I Got my Family here and they love me more than dad did.” Blade retorts to the vampires.

“What do you mean? Is your father really that horrible?” Mrs. Cake asks, cowering behind the princess.

“He….” Blade moans, “He murdered my mother….”

“Oh gosh…” Derpy said in shock.

“HA! Your mother was a fool and betrayed him too. She paid the price, AND SO WILL YOU!” the third vampire pony shouts.

There are twenty of them cornering Blade, Celestia, and the others. Blade has his eyes zoom everywhere, thinking where to start his attack.

“GET THEM!” the vampires declare.

The first six vampire ponies jump towards Blade, as his tail blades swing up to stick them through their chests. Three miss, but the first three gets sliced and slashed in half. They then turn into ash, existing no more.

“Anypony who’s infected only get’s injured.” Blade tells the princess, “But for those vampires who are made unnaturally, they’re the ones who die.”

Blade keeps kicking, and dodging the attacks. The vampires are then pushed back by his red aura wave.

“How… how do we know who we can’t harm?” the princess wonders.

Blade sinks his head.

“I don’t know.” he said in regret.

Just as he feels more guilt, he snaps out it, going back to attack more vampire ponies coming at him like rabid dogs. He can only wish more help will come.

Tails and TJ are hiking up the last trail of the mountains, carrying backpacks that has all their camping and fighting gear. Tails looks at the map, looking forward to visit their friends in Ponyville once again.

“You going to try and flirt with Twilight?” TJ asks playfully.

“Hey, it’s her choice.” Tails lets him know, “Besides, I’m sure she’ll be happy to see me.”

“So.. you admit you like her then… sublimely?” TJ grins.

“Oh, come one now!” Tails laughs.

The foxes are focused, but to their surprise, they bump into two characters by accident. More frankly, once they get up from the bump fall, they look up to see their friends. Ian and Leo.

“Oh, hey guys!” Ian the diamond dog said, wagging his tail, “It’s great to see you again.”

“Just thought we come check up on our buddies.” Tails admits, “What are you guys doing up here?”

“Collecting new fossils for research.” Leo the gnome said, “I must say, I found a rather odd one just now.”

“Can we see?” TJ asks.

Leo holds out the fossil. It is red and grey colored all over, with an encrypted bat symbol carved into the middle. The shape is crooked, and it has the word “LUST” in the middle.

“It might be a possessed rock.” Leo thinks out loud, “But for what I’m guessing, it just arrived this morning.”

“You mean it appeared out of nowhere?” Tails asks.

Before Leo answers, a sudden jolt makes the fossil jump out of Leo’s hand. It lands on the ground, rattling and growling in such violent noises. It then cracks, having A WING and HOOF tear out of it.

“Um… now I don’t think that’s a fossil…” Ian realizes.

“It’s… an egg…” Leo puts together.

The gnome then looms over the hills, seeing Ponyville… IN SMOKE AND FLAMES. He can even hear the distress calls of the other ponies in the distance, including Princess Celestia.

“We better go down there.” Tails insists, as soon as he sees what Leo is seeing.

The four friends then rush down the trail, forgetting about the egg they’re observing hatching. Unknown to them, A POSSED VAMPIRE PONY tears out of the shell, making a snickering noise.

Luna stands tall, as she protects Rarity, Spike, and Sweetie Belle from the approaching vampires. Luna blasts her blue rays to knock out the first twenty vampires trying to attack them. Spike watches, as he sees ten infected ponies coming back to normal. The other ten who aren’t infected, incinerate into ash.

“What are those things?” Spike asks.

“Everypony, get behind me!” Luna shouts to the survivors.

The citizens go around the princess, also standing by Rarity and her young sister. Luna then looks down at Spike.

“I don’t know what these THINGS are.” Luna tells him, “But whatever the case, they’re invading Ponyville.”

POOF!

Luna turns to see a worried Discord hugging his friends, Fluttershy, William, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom. He pants in fear, looking around the dangerous atmosphere.

“DISCORD!” Twilight Sparkle demands, unsure of what’s happening, “WHY WOULD YOU SURPRISE US LIKE THAT?”

“BECAUSE TWILIGHT…” Discord insists in his explanation, “OF THIS!”

He points at all the burning buildings, and vampire ponies running amuck. He sets his friends down and creates a safety shield, having Twilight observe the madness ensuing.

“Fine… thanks for saving out lives.” Rainbow Dash sighs to Discord, annoyed.

“Don’t thank me just yet.” Discord tells her, “There are still more out there that may be in danger.”

“And worse…” Luna moans, “My sister.”

“WHAT?” Twilight gasps in worry.

“She went to go find you, but now I fear something may happen to her.” Luna whispers.

“Then we have to go find her, FAST!” Twilight screams.

Fireblaze and Skull have been scanning through Vanhouver, checking to make sure every building in the city is repaired. They wave and pass by everypony they meet, and drink a can beer while they walk on the sidewalk.

“Aaaah… so nice and peaceful today.” Fireblaze said in a soothing voice.

He then looks at Skull, realizing he looks concerned, under deep thought.

“What’s in your head?” he asks Skull.

“I’m thinking about King Sombra, Somnambula, Lavan, and Catrina. They were involve in helping Storm and V take Discord’s magic when they forced him to nearly kill himself. They have escaped, and now they’re hiding somewhere in Equestria.”

“How do you know that?” asks Skull.

“I sensed it.” Fireblaze tells him, “My guardian spirit, otherwise known as my father, told me about it too.”

“Well, I’m sure they’ll be caught eventually.” Skull assures.

FLING!

The sound pierces Fireblaze in the head, as he senses something new. It’s a throbbing feeling, telling Fireblaze that something is wrong… IN PONYVILLE!

Fireblaze than drops his can, having Skull look at him in confusion.

“Change of plans…” Fireblaze said, “We’re now going to Ponyville.”

“What? Why?” Skull asks.

Fireblaze charges his speed up to go real fast, and Storm does the same to join his pace.

“I sense that our friends… they’re now in another worse case scenario. A DEADLY ONE.” Fireblaze said.

Blade has managed to have all the vampire ponies knocked out, guiding the Cake Family, Princess Celestia, and Derpy out of the dead end. They ran faster as they could, but the vampires planned ahead real well, and surround the group in a circle movement. Blade grips onto his sword, but he knows they’re outnumbered. He, Celestia, Derpy, and The Cakes are trapped.

“Well, there is SIXTY of us, and only seven of you.” a vampire pony cackles, “Who’s going to help you?”

“US!” a voice erupted.

“WHUH?” another vampire pony shouts.

A big dusty bang than explodes in the ground, not harming the princess and her friends, but pushing back some of the vampire ponies. Celestia squints her eyes to see her sister with more of her friends. Discord, the main six, the foxes, Ian, Spike, Leo, Fireblaze, Skull, William, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. All of them are now involved, as Tails charges over to the first six vampires to give a mighty swing, punching them in the mouths. TJ then joins Tails, and uses his aura waves to strike six more down.

Discord has the main six ponies and Spike gear up in ninja clothes. Twilight was reluctant, but she manages to chop through the vampires and injure their legs, just as she dodges more of the bite attempts. She’s pleased, along with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. The two pegasi ponies throw ninja stars at the vampires to slow them down.

“Discord’s magic saves us once again.” Fluttershy coos at Rainbow Dash.

“FLUTTERSHY! LOOK OUT!” Rainbow Dash warns.

A vampire pony lunges up in the air to strike Fluttershy, having her scream in sheer terror. Yet, before the vampire can attack, Discord defends her and makes a metal shield in front of the two of them, having the vampire bounce down to the ground.

Rainbow cheers at this, and then joins Applejack and Rarity to use karate hits, taking out eleven more vampire ponies. They even dodge their contagious spits, as they pass by Pinkie Pie and Twilight. The pink earth pony and purple alicorn work together, as Pinkie uses Twilight as a magic ray gun, pushing down seven vampires.

Meanwhile, Spike works with the Cutie Mark Crusader to have the vampires’ hoofs trip on their fast moving legs and feet. William even cowers behind them, making impressions of his friends’ voices to fool the vampires. The trick has them take each other out by a good mistake. Ian and Leo then stand by Fireblaze and Skull, as the four of them use their tae-kwan-do like moves to knock the vampires down, aiming them towards their chests. Luna then makes a final warning move by expanding her blue aura, having the vampire ponies step back.

“Dang, you’re doing well.” one vampire pony muttered.

The other vampires in the town are even gained by Luna’s attention. They look directly at her, nervous that her ray is growing brighter.

“LEAVE NOW!” she orders.

“Well, if that’s how it’s going to go, we have a message for you.” a vampire pony tells Blade.

Blade is suspicious.

“Your father will come back for revenge. He’ll never forgive you, he’ll seek your dead blood.” the vampire sneers.

The vampires then fly up into the air. It wash in a split millisecond that they’re gone. The pony residents and visitors then come out from their hiding places, wondering what happened. They even check to find their loved ones, making sure they’re safe.

“Are you all right?” Blade asks Celestia.

“I’m fine.” Celestia breathes, “Thanks for coming to save us on time.”

“Um, can you tell us why the vampires are mentioning YOUR FATHER?” Twilight asks, “Do they really work for him? What’s going on?”

“A little backstory wouldn’t hurt to explain.” Discord agrees.

Blade sighs.

“If you don’t know, Sombra has been capable of changing ponies into blood sucking creatures.” Blade moans, “And now… I think he’s using that method to strike back at us.”

“Why would you mention Sombra?” Rainbow Dash asks.

“Because…” Blade shudders, “He’s my father.”

“WHAT?” Twilight gasps.

Somewhere in a dark mountain, there is a rotted mansion surrounding by ill looking rocks. Bats surround the building with big fangs, guarding the place to prevent intruders from coming in. The sky is completely red, in the color of deadly liquid.

Inside, the ghostly King Sombra is looking out through the balcony. His accomplices are also in the room as follows. Somnambula, Lavan, and Catrina. The human witch acts young, as smokes a cigarette when standing by the wretched king.

“You know we won’t succeed so quickly.” she coughs out.

“By all means necessary, we must train our vampires to become stronger!” Lavan insists.

The female cat witch sharpens her claws with a file.

“What’s the big deal of involving that so-called Blade into this anyway?” she asks.

“My son… that’s what he is.” Sombra scowls, “And he turned his back on me.”

The vampire ponies that retreated then fly up to Sombra, floating in the air.

“We… regret to tell you… we failed.” a vampire reports.

“No matter.” Sombra smiles, “I’m just getting started anyway.”
