Twilight was on reading duty for the school. So she picked out her favorite legend and ran to the school house. It was recess by the time she came. "Come on Everypony!"

Says Twilight. The Fillys gathered around her. "I'm going to tell you the legend of the dark spirits!" Said Twilight as she watch the crowd grow. She smiled.

"I guess a lot of you like storys. So before you hear the story, lets talk about this monster."

"What does it look like?" Says a filly who's mane was blue and fur black.

"Excellent question! No pony really knows. There is more then one. So when you talk about what one looks like, give the name of it" replied Twilight.

Another filly asked her, "What do you mean by that?"

Twilight thought for a few minutes then responded, "You see dark spirits were once just like you and me. But when they lived they were Mean, or bad ponys. They did bad things. When they died instead of becoming light spirits, the kind you all know of, they became dark ones instead. So me or you could be one if we did bad things."

Another filly asked her a question, "So bullys become dark spirits?"

Twilight wasn't sure of her answer, "It depends on how much they bully. Even if they did bully a lot they would have to way more then that to become a dark spirit."

One after another questions were thrown at her faster then she's ever had to answer. Finally she said, "Lets just let the book tell us." Next Chapter: Chapter one-The meeting. Estimated time remaining: 6 Minutes
