Home is Where Trixie’s Heart is
The Great and Powerful Trixie, was what she used to call herself. But after that fateful day, she had a hard time even muttering those words… Lies, that’s what her name has been reduced to, mere lies.
She felt defeated, utterly and uselessly lost. She had been wandering the vast plains of Equestria, living off her lies, until word spread of her embarrassment at the town called Ponyville. No one would believe her lies anymore; no one would pay for her shows any more either. She ended up selling almost everything she had, her wagon, her tomes, her scrolls, and her pyrotechnics were all gone. All she had to herself were her mother’s cape and her father’s hat, both were torn, worn, and beaten, like the rest of her.
She slowly made her way to the next town, but most likely her last. The one place where she lost two very important things that mattered deeply to her. Her pride for one, but mostly… Her heart.
She’d lost it that day, both of them. The day when she both saved her, and indirectly destroyed her.
Her strides had lost all her pride that she once had, she had little to no energy left, and to conjure a spell would be fruitless. Her spirit was shattered, and her soul was bruised.
She’d been thrown out of Manehatten first, and then she traveled to Farrington, but she decided not to go there, because a griffin that was wearing armor entered there, she’d assumed that the griffin was a guard, so getting thrown out of there might lead to far worse results. After that she traveled all the way to Hoofington, only to be denied entry! On the grounds that she might bring an Ursa with her… She couldn’t blame them; she just turned around and left after selling her wagon and possessions at a severely low rate. A mere one hundred bits, that’s all. She should have haggled for more money, but that would be worthless, she would just get rejected.
She sighed out of exhaustion; her voice was raspy, not having had a drink since she left, or rather, was kicked out of Fillydelphia yesterday. She was starved and parched. Her only drive to continue life was to find the one thing that mattered to her, not revenge, not her pride, she wanted to find the one pony who stole her heart, so that she could rest easy knowing that she is whole again.
With great effort the lifted her head and saw the sign, “Welcome to Ponyville”. She dropped her head again, her once great mane fell in front of her face, the dirty and tangled mess she once called a mane mocked her, but she didn’t mind, she kept it in front of her face, to better hide her shame along with that of her father’s hat, just like her dad, protecting her from the staring eyes, and angry remarks while her mother kept her warm.
She was a wreck, her once great and powerful figure was covered with bruises, scratches, and dirt stains from her travels. She was lethally thin, her rib cage was clearly visible and her stomach was nearly nothing and her legs were weak and frail.
“Is that… Trixie?” She heard somepony say, she didn’t realize she had entered the town; she was just focused on putting one hoof in front of the other.
“Trixie? What’s she doing here?”
“Probably to get revenge!”
She knew she wasn’t here for that, tears welled up in her eyes, she just followed where her heart was going.
“HEY YOU!” She heard a familiar voice yell at her. Trixie then felt a presence in front of her suddenly, she ignored it, and she just walked around it, “I’M TALKING TO YOU!”
She didn’t care, she looked ahead of her and she saw her target, the tree library where her heart was.
“DON’T WALK AWAY FROM ME!” The cyan Pegasus shouted to her, then she whipped around and smacked into Trixie’s side. Her hat flew off her head to reveal her disheveled mane and she fell to the ground. Trixie let out a grunt of pain but no more. She didn’t have the strength to fight, so she got up slowly. She looked at her attacker, right in the eyes. The Pegasi's eyes turned from fierce, to shocked, she hadn’t taken in Trixie’s condition before now. Trixie moved her head away from the shocked filly and continued to her goal. A few minutes of stunned silence from the gathered crowd of ponies until somepony broke the silence.
“IT’S A TRICK!”
No, that’s not true. She could’ve said, but was too weak to do so. She almost reached the door of the home where her heart was. But was to slow to knock. She was tackled down by the cyan mare, as she was tackled she subconsciously yelled out, “Twilight!”
“NO PONY tricks me and gets away with it! So you thought that you could get revenge?” Asked the brutish Pegasus. Trixie didn’t say anything. She couldn’t, she had no strength.
“And you know what I do to people who want to hurt my friends?” The rainbow manned Pegasus threatened.
I don’t want to hurt her Trixie tried to say but only coughed, she was loosing it, her vision was fading and her hearing was failing.
“I tkk thmm too hll.” Trixie heard, she could faintly see the library door opening, and she then heard a voice… the sweet angelic voice of her heart.
“RAINBOW STOP!”
But it didn’t matter, Trixie sighed, she was content that the last thing she saw and heard was her heart.
“I’m home.” She whispered to herself, and closed her eyes and breathed out, for what was to be the last time.
But if that was to be the last time... Why was she still dreaming?

"Why are you here Trixie?"
"I'm here because of you."
"Likely story! You think that I, Celestia's student and defender of Equestria is going to believe that?"
"I want you to believe that."
"AS IF! now TELL me why you're here!"
"I'm here because I love you."
"YEAH?! Well WHY DON'T YOU JUST WAKE UP?! "
"..."
"Wake up..."
"What?"
"Please, by Celestia please wake up..."
