I This is't rock candy

Pinkie pie woke up early, at the crack of dawn (as usual), and did her smile exercises in front of the mirror. She went downstairs for a breakfast cupcake.

No one was awake in Sugarcube Corner yet. They were all having dreams about epic adventures involving flying and raining cookies and all sorts of things like that. So, realizing that, Pinkie pie tried to be as quiet as she could as she half-bounced towards the refrigerator.

She slooooowwwwly opened the door to it and quickly grabbed a vanilla cupcake with sprinkles.

She shut the door quickly, and, pretending to be a spy, sneaked to her chair in the kitchen, carefully set down the cupcake, hid under the table for a moment, then popped up and wolfed it down, the frosting splattering her face.

She licked her chops. Surely it would be okay for her to have a little ice cream too?
She sneaked towards the refrigerator and opened the freezer.

She gasped, covering her mouth so she wouldn't squeal by accident.

There was a large, shiny, magenta and blue swirled gem in front of the Neapolitan ice cream. Pinkie pie carefully took the gem out of the refrigerator. She set it on the table.

She licked it in case it was rock candy. "FTTGH!" She spat "That is definitely not rock candy!"
I'll take it to Twilight! Pinkie thought happily She'll know what to do! She carefully picked up the rock and sneaked up the stairs, into her room.

Twilight Sparkle was reading a book. And a really good one, too. It was the newest Daring Do book. While levitating the book, she walked out of her library, her faithful companion Spike following her. "What a beautiful day!" Twilight said softly, not really talking to anyone "Not a cloud in the sky." She walked on the dirt road, not taking her nose out of her book. She sighed happily. Nothing could go wr-
"TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Suddenly she was knocked down violently, smashing to the ground. She opened her eyes. "Pinkie?" The pink pony took a deep breath

"sotwilightiwaseatingacupcaksbuttheniwaslikewhynothaveicecreambutthenifoundthisrealreallyreallystrangegeminthefreezerandineedyoutoseeit!" Twilight stared and Pinkie pie for a long minute. "What?"

Pinkie pie was panting "I...Found...this...weird...gem...in...the...freezer..." She took out a large, shiny gem out from her saddlebag.

Twilight levitated the gem and stared at it. "Well, pinkie...I've never seen anything like it." She turned to the library

"Come on, spike. Time for research." She trotted over to the library, levitating the gem and the book she was reading. Pinkie pie and Spike followed her.

Twilight flipped open the 76th book she found on gems and flipped threw it. "I found it!" She exclaimed at Pinkie, Spike and the large pile of books.

"See here, page 56. It says: 'this is a rare gem, only found on the moon and in alternative universes, called a moonstone. it is said to tell you the future if you 'ask' it, but it only activates in the dark.' hmm...I wonder what that means." She closed the book

"pinkie pie, get the others and tell them to meet me at the library. Pronto."
Pinkie grinned "Okei doki loki!" She bounced out of the library, giggling.

II Sleepover

"Now what's go'n on here?"

"Sorry Rarity! And Twi will answer your question, AJ"

"Oh, I hope she's okay..."

"Twilight is fine, Fluttershy! Don't worry! Oh hi rainbow dash! thanks for checking your Pmail!"

"What's all this commotion about?"

"You'll see!"

The door to the library banged open. "We're heeeeeerrrrrrreeeee!" Pinkie pie squealed as the rest of the mane six piled in.

Twilight now had the moonstone on a bronze stand and was looking at it very carefully with a magnify glass. She put it down. "Hello, girls." She quickly explained the moonstone and how pinkie pie found it, then explained her idea about seeing their futures.

"Are you sure we should do it? I mean, it sounds dangerous..." Fluttershy said quietly, stepping away from the gem.

"Of course we should!" Rainbow dash said in midair "I NEED to know if i ever get to meet the writer of Daring do, A.K. Yearling!" She swooped down like an eagle and landed next to Fluttershy "But you don't have to do it if you don't want to."

Rarity stepped closer to the bedazzling gem. "Who shall do it first? I really want to know if I win the dressmaking contest hosted next year..."

Suddenly everypony wanted to come close and touch it, and even spike, who secretly wanted to know if he would get married to Rarity one day.

"Settle down, everypony" Twilight said, holding her hoof out. They stepped back. "I'd hate to have it broken. So we will each take turns, starting with me, since I don't want anypony to get hurt."

She covered the moonstone with a blanket, the light faintly shining threw it. "also we have to want until the nighttime...Why don't we have a sleepover while we wait?"

Fluttershy, Rainbow dash, and pinkie pie cheered in agreement, but Applejack and Rarity exchanged knowing glances, then burst into laughter in remembrance of the time they tried a sleepover.

"It's settled then." Twilight said finally "I can lend you all some sleeping bags for the night.

The mane six, wrapped in blankets and eating popcorn, were watching a movie.

"You'll never get away with this!" wailed a mare tied up in a rope.

"Says who?" The bandit stallion cackled, clutching the poor mare's wallet.

"Says Daring do!" a voice exclaimed confidently.

The bandit turned around, startled. A dark yellow pegasus with a black and white mane wearing a green denim jacket was standing behind him.

The stallion lunged out at her. she dodged, landing squarely on his head. He bucked her off, but she saved herself by flying
upwards instead of falling. She knocked him down and grabbed the wallet.

She untied the rope off the unlucky mare and gave her back her money. "Thank you daring do!" She said, gratefully. The police

came and handcuffed the bandit. The words "The End" went on the screen and the credits popped on.

Twilight turned off the television.

"That was a great movie!" Pinkie pie squealed, spilling popcorn all over Rarity

"My hair!" Rarity wailed, clutching her mane.

"It's a good thing I brought the TV and movie" Said rainbow dash boastfully.

"Salt is not good for hair! I need a shower!" Rarity ran to the bathroom, leaving the rest of the mane six in the library.

"Well, girls" Said Twilight "That was a good movie, but we should do something while waiting for night..."

Pinkie pie bounced up and down "We could make cupcakes!"

Everypony stared at her for a long moment. "Ok, maybe not cupcakes" Said Pinkie "Maybe Apple fritters!" She said nodding to Applejack

"Or baklava!" She said nodding to Fluttershy

"Or muffins!" She nodded to a certain gray pegasus with derped eyes who magically appeared in the room "Buh na na muffins!" said Derpy, grinning.
