Chance Crossing and the Eponian Alicorn Gods
Chapter 1
I own neither Percy Jackson nor My Little Pony. I am writing this purely for amusement.
Chance Crossing and the Eponian Alicorn Gods
1-I GET A LETTER FROM MOM
I always knew that I had been adopted. My sire and dam had never hidden that fact from me.
It wouldn't be very hard to guess either. I mean how could two regular Earth ponies, one a chestnut brown stallion with a black mane, the other a gray mare with a green mane, ever produce a snowy white stallion with a sky-blue mane. It wouldn't be very hard to realize they weren't actually my parents.
I was lucky to have such great parents.
One the night they got me, a long time ago, it was the night of a big storm, you might know the one. It was the storm that caused a bunch of damage in Ponyville and Canterlot.
My parents heard a knock on the door and answered it, like any polite pony would.
My real mother stood out in the ran. A dark olive green cloak obscured her features, but her snow white hooves brought me forth.
"I can take care of him. Please, will you be able to?" She had asked.
My adopted mother nodded. It wouldn't be a burden, they had just moved into a new house thanks in part to winning the lottery.
My real mother gently handed me other. "Please take good care of him. His name is Chance, Chance Crossing."
"We will." My adopted dad had said.
My adopted had begun rocking be gently back and softly saying my name.
My real mother smiled and reached into her cloak and handed my father a letter. "Give that letter to him when he gets older."
My father only nodded.
Then suddenly, my real mother galloped back into the rain before my adopted parents could offer her to stay with them out of the rain, or maybe even longer.

A sat on my bed looking at the rain soaked letter just sitting there, drops of rain marred the envelope from the dried rain from that long ago. Unopened until now...
If it had actually been up to me I probably would have opened it long ago when I first heard my "parents" tell me the story about my actual mom.
But I like to add a little bit of luck to important things, and so every time I got it in my head to open the letter I would flip a bit.
Every time it would land on tails.
Every bucking time.
I lost count at 25. But not today, today it had finally landed on manes.
I was shivering with excitement as I slowly took the letter out of the envelope and began reading it.
Dear Chance,
My son,
I couldn't explain to your parents back when they first got you the whole story so many years ago.
I couldn't raise you, not with me being the way I am.
You've probably read some of the old Equian and Eponan myths, like the Illiad or the Trottesy by Homer.
The old myths are true, the Equian and Eponan alicorns exist, just like pegasi and unicorns exist. Don't beleive me? Flip a coin, keeping the question in your mind and it will always land on manes.
The reason that I couldn't raise you Chance, is that I am an alicorn. I am Tyche, alicorn goddess of Luck.
Being my colt, you may be lucky enough to avoid the monsters that go after the children of the gods, but even the best of luck runs out, and they will find you. They are drawn to the alicorn blood that flows in your veins.
However there is a place where ponies like you can be safe, which I will write below. Get there as soon as you are able.
Hugs, Kisses and Best of Luck,
Your Mother, Tyche
P.S It's okay if you decide to tell your adopted parents the truth.
On the back was an address...
Half-Hoof Hill
Manehattan, Neigh York
