The sky is falling. Cities are burning. Great cloudships are descending from the cloud layer and with them, upon wings of fire, a black-carapaced scourge. Hundreds upon hundreds of pegasi and their war machines fall upon the hapless inhabitants of the Equestrian wasteland. Promising peace and charity, the Grand Pegasus Enclave delivered only war - a war that will burn across Equestria, from Canterlot, to Manehatten, to Fillydelphia, and beyond.

For most, this war will be their end; but for many, this war is where their stories will begin - stories of blood, and fire, and carnage. These are the stories of the souls who fought and bled during the war that became known as: Operation Cauterize.
