Chapter1
An Alicorn mare walks into the room. "Hey Dax, how's your head?"
"It's good Twilight thanks." I say with a weak smile. "You should be at Pinkies party, I'll see you tomorrow. Tell Pinkie to save me some cake." She goes outside, then I head up stairs to sleep.
It's been 4 weeks since the destruction of terik, and damn I still hurt everywhere. Not that I should complain, I didn't get drained by that bitch. I was the first human to enter Equestria. It happened right after the Nightmare Moon returning fiasco. There were other humans to come through and stay, but hardly anyone has been here in a long time. I've been living With the ponies very peacefully. The ponies have been getting our tech such as: PCs, PS3s, PS4s, Xbox360s, Xbox1s, and every other form of tech we have.
While I sleep I dream of my past and ALL my fears since They are always on my mind, but tonight I had a good dream, Probably from Luna. She is a good friend of mine, but one thing I keep her from knowing is my huge crush I have on her.
This morning Was when I finally got out of bed with out collapsing from the pain (Yeah that bad.). Pinkie had decided to through me a party For her way of saying she's glad I'm better, but I need rest. The pain is still there just lessened & The pain meds make me way to drowsy.
When I wake up I here my phone ring, it's Twilight. "Hey Twi what's up?"
"Can you come over to the castle? It's important."
"I'll be there shortly." I hang up & get dressed and out the door.
I get there and walk up to her room then knock. "Twilight, You and flash Decent in there?"
"Yes." They said in unison.
I opened the door and saw them in both in shirt and under garment. "I was almost to late wasn't I?" I smirk.
"Almost." Said Flash in a disappointed tone.
"So Twilight, did you need something or were you wanting to have a threesome?"
"Have you read the paper?"
"That's what I have friends like you for." I say with a hint of humor.
"Just read it." She hands me the paper. It has Luna going berserk and shooting a Blueblood with her horn. I bust out laughing. "OMG, that's fucking hilarious, but what does this have to do with me?"
"This has made some politicians think she's unstable, so she needs a place to lay low until this situation simmers down."
"So she's staying with me?" I say putting two and two together.
"Yes, but She will have to be in disguise so people don't start making the situation more complicated. she should be here in three... two... one." In poofs Luna with a flash of light.
"Hello, we are here." Said Luna with a friendly tone, "So Dax, you will be housing us while we're laying low right?"
"Yes Luna. how will you be incognito though? you're an Alicorn, which means people will know who you are."
"We have taken care this detail." She puts on a necklace and she loses her wings, her coat gets a little lighter, her mane goes back to the way it was when she turned back from Nightmare Moon, and her eyes got a shade lighter. "Do you think this will work?" She asks.
"Yeah, that'll work. what do I call you out around the town? people would take notice if I called you Luna, Princess, Lady of the night, etc." I say as a valid point.
"In this form, my name is Midnight Star." I know it sounds stupid, but would you tell her that?
"Okay, so Midnight, ready to go?" I say so Twi and Flash can "get back to it". I lead Luna/Midnight to my place, every stallion we walk by stops and stares at her then gives me a thumbs up. when we get to my place I show her where her room is, where the bathroom is, and where my video games are. My watch read 12:00PM, "So Luna, you hungry?"
"Yes, we are famished." she said walking right behind me.
"You're only gonna be able to talk as though you're two ponies when no one's around but me and Twilight. okay?"
"We are aware of this. What's on the menu?"
"I have some oats, hay, and that kind of stuff for ponies, but I eat meat and some fruits."
"Do you eat horse?" She asked a little worriedly.
I give a little laugh, "No, most humans wont eat horse, but some religions eat horse for some reason. I eat beef, pork, chicken, & deer."
"We see, do you have the game Skyrim?"
"Legendary edition and normal. You can play it while I make lunch."
She Ran over to the console so fast Rainbow Dash would've been jealous. She put in the game and made a new profile, and by the time lunch was ready she had beat the civil war, five daedra quests, and had half of the Dragon priest masks. "How the fuck did you do that in one hour?"
"We play a lot." She says with pride.
"I've wasted a lot of the past month and haven't done that shit that fast." I say still in shock.
She gives a gesture to end the conversation. I do so as my stomach started growling right then. we sit down and have lunch. we both finish in 10 minutes. After that, I turned the T.V. on to human channels and watch American Ninja Warrior. She watches with me, she starts asking questions an I answer with my knowledge of the show, starting from it's Japanese origin. "... and that's up to right now."
"Damn, you love that show don't you?" Luna asks with some annoyance.
"Love is a strong word, overly enjoy would fit better." I say with a nonchalant tone.
"Whatever, we would like to get back to our game."
"I was about to change to my PS4 and play inFAMOUS second son. Would you like to play?"
"We wish to know what this inFAMOUS is."
I face-palm. "Are you serious? You've never heard of the inFAMOUS games?"
"We were just joking, I played all but Second Son. We would love to play it."
"Good, I'll get the game going." I set up the game for her (on another save, of course.), pulled out my gaming chair for her, and watched as she owned the first section of the game (when Delson doesn't have his powers). She is having a good time, so I try not to spoil anything for her, but I give a few hints.
She is now at the first karma option. "Dax, what do you think I should do?"
"Betty get's concreted either way, but I would go good karma."
"WHAT?! why?" she asked with a bit of sorrow.
"That ginger is a bitch, and the main antagonist."
She got a good way into the game when she decided to stop. We had dinner and both went to our own rooms to sleep. My nightmares came back that night.
Chapter2
Dax was in his home, back on earth. He was in his robes, not just any robes, his Assassin Robes! He had just gotten back from yet another Templar kill, when his door was broken open by Abstergo agents. Dax pulls out his pistol. "I don't want any trouble, leave now or I will shoot."
"Not likely Assassin, you're gonna die." Said the agent right in front of Dax. They all pulled out SMGs and aimed at him. They start to pull the trigger then stop and aim at themselves.
Dax holds his Apple of Eden out and makes them shoot themselves. "Rest in peace, bastards." He looks at the bodies and stops. the one on his right looked familiar. He looked closer, it was his little brother, Jimmy. He backed up and looked at the body in horror, "I-I k-killed him!" He starts to get really sorrowful and depressed. Why was he a Templar? Jimmy and Dax grew up as Assassins, so why did he switch sides?
He wakes up with a jolt. "JIMMY!!"
He looks around, he is back in ponyville. He goes to his closet, moves his clothes to the sides of the closet and pulls out the trunk in the closet. He opens the trunk (It has the Assassin symbol on the lid) and pulls out the Assassin robes, weapons, boots, ammo, & put these on in a matter of 2 minutes.
Dax went to the window, underneath is a pile of hay. he gets on the window seal and preforms a leap of faith from there. He lands in the hay, gets out, and heads to his Assassin hideout.
"Dax, where are yah going?" Says a female voice behind him.
"Oh, hey Applejack. Just going to my little spot in the ever free forest."
"Why?"
"Can't a man walk around in peace?"
"Fine, ah was just wonderin'."
"Okay, just don't try and sneak up on me again. I heard you from a ways away."
She walks off back to Sweet Apple Acres. Dax walks to the Hideout and goes in to find 3 fellow Assassins. "Hey Dax, what kept you?" Asked his big brother Jeff.
"I got stopped by AJ." replied Dax. "We should get to work so we won't get lazy or have our skills dull."
"We just got back from practicing for the past hour." Said (Wait for it) Ratonhnhake:ton Kenway/Connor Davenport.
"Okay, I'll go and train, you guys hold down the fort." and with that Dax went out the top window and started free-running through the edge of the forest.
after a couple of hours he was turning to go back when..."HELP!!!!!!"
Dax rushed to where he heard the plea. He turned on his Eagle Vision and found the pony that was in peril, it was a mare surrounded by five stallions, each with a switchblade. Dax didn't waste any time, he pulled out his bow, fitted five arrows, and shot all of the stallions dead. the mare ran away. Dax went down to the bodies, took his arrows, and searched their bodies for money and things he could use. He hurries back into the trees before the guards got there. When he got back inside of the hideout the others were asleep.
Dax then went back to his place climbed up to his room from outside, got undressed down to his underwear, and slept for about 3 hours before he heard Luna waking up.
Chapter3
I get up and dressed, I walk down the stairs, make breakfast, turn on the TV, and then she comes down. "Your breakfast is on the table, I made pancakes and some fried eggs."
"Thank you Dax, where were you last night? we went into your room and didn't see you."
Crap, gotta keep her out of this"I was out for a walk, Ask Apple Jack, she tried to sneak up on me last night."
"Oh, we thought you had something to do with that scream we heard last night."
Crap can't catch a break. "I ran over to it only to find a fleeing mare and five dead bodies, I ran back toward the house as soon as I saw that. who would do such a thing?"
"We don't know, but we're glad it wasn't you. want to get back to inFAMOUS Second Son?" Luna said to change the subject.
"Sure, after you eat that breakfast I prepared." Yes, she fell for it.
"UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! Fine." she ate the eggs first then the pancake. 20 seconds flat. "Now may we get back to the game?"
"Okay, I'm going to the bar. I've got a little meeting with some friends, and I'll be back at noon." I go out the door, go to the side of the house, climb up and get in my room. I then put on my gear and head to the bar.
"OI Dax, ovah here." said my newest recruit, he came with Ratonhnhaké:ton from their time. I found him wandering around the forest and was being attacked by timber wolves, then he found one of my hidden swords in the forest. He took down the wolves and did it with a good amount of skill. So, I recruited him.
"Hey Peter, where are the others?"
"On their way, wha did yah call us here fur?"
"You can stop the British accent, we aren't in the colonies, nor on earth. If you want to do your British accent, go to Rarity."
"Come on Dax, I like doing my accents."
"Not everyone is like you, some of us find it likable, but most of us completely dislike it."
Just then the others showed up. there are 11 of us. I'm the mentor (since I was picked by my past mentor to lead our order into Equestria and keep the Templars from taking this world), my brother is my second in command (he has been proven to be a good leader, so I assigned him to be in charge when I'm unable to), Ratonhnhaké:ton and the others are our team and they are like a family to us.
"Nice of you to join the party, I thought you'd been carried off." I said with a grin.
The others give a puzzled look at me, but Jeff knew what that was. He gave a mild chuckle. "Who me? No, I'm way to muscular for their taste, they wouldn't even know what to do with all this." He said doing the motions from the scene.
"They need toothpicks don't they?" We both just start laughing, not just at that, but at the dumfound faces of the other 9. "It's something from our time on Earth."
They all go "Oh!" simultaneously. leading to a little more laughing from me and Jeff.
"Now, you guys are probably wondering why I called you all here, the Templars are getting closer, bigger, and have 5 of their Pieces of Eden. Now we must hunt them harder, recruit more Assassins, and find the Pieces of Eden they brought with them."
They take a minute to process what I said, then they nod in grim silence. We all know what's at stake, we all know some of us won't return. "Now, I have managed to procure several Apples of Eden so we won't be without a means to defend our selves against their Pieces of Eden. You all must be prepared for what is to come, We will meet again in four days. Then, we will begin our mission. Remember: Nothing is true, Everything is permitted." with that, the group disperses out of the bar, except for me, Jeff, Connor, and Pete.
"When did you learn this?" Asked Jeff bluntly.
"Last night, I ran into a group of Templar ponies. I found a note on the lead one, they know where we are, they know about US, they have me, you, and Connor listed by name."
Jeff looks at me to see if I'm bullshitting with them, I'm not. "We have to be careful, I'm going to head back to my place and get my stuff ready. I recommend you three do the same."
I speak in Ratonhnhaké:ton's native tong. "You should get to you're place and pack up all your gear. Oh, and training starts early tomorrow, just a heads up."
"Many thanks friend." said Connor as he went back to his place.
I get boozed up and walk back over to my place only to find Luna right in front of the door with a worried expression, this quickly turns into annoyance. "You told us that you would be back near noon, it is 1:00PM. What happed to you?"
"Sorry Luna, I got rally drunk, and fell into a long ass conversation with my brother and the others that just wouldn't stop. I'll find some way to make it up to you, I promise."
"It's okay, you just worried us, We'll be in our room if you need us." she then goes up stairs and closes her door. She then gets on her laptop and gets back to writing a mush fanfics story for inFAMOUS Second Son between Fetch and Delson. I on the other hand, was preparing for the move on the Templars.
This was shaping up to be a rough week.
