Elementals' Hotel...

Celestia sat at her desk, waiting patiently. She was wearing a white tank top and white shorts. She had summoned two Elementals to take part in the first patrol. She didn't have to wait long as her door suddenly opened. An orange mare with ass-length yellow hair and a gray colt with short, black, spiky hair entered the room. The mare had on a black tank top and blue jeans. The colt had on a yellow short-sleeved shirt with black shorts.

"We came as soon as we could," the mare said as she and the colt ran up to the desk.

"Citrus... Blitz..." Celestia said as she got up. "I need you two on patrol. Search the city and look out for anything suspicious."

Blitz nodded. "Yes, ma'am. Anything else?" He asked.

The alicorn nodded. "Call me as soon as you find something. We are already a few steps behind... I would hate to fall behind any further... Also, be discreet. Don't let anyone know you're with the Elementals and keep casual. We don't want whoever's out there to target you."

"Of course," the mare said as she patted the colt on the back. "Let's go, Blitzy," she said with a smile and ran out of the room.

Celestia let out a little chuckle. "Do you ever plan on telling her?" She asked, knowing full well how the colt felt about the mare.

"I'll tell her when the time's right," Blitz said, smiling as he looked towards the door. "I want her head in the game... and not in the clouds..."

"Good choice," the alicorn replied as she sat back down. "Do not let her slip away, though. As soon as this problem is resolved, I want you two together."

The colt gave her a smirk. "Yes, ma'am," he said, saluting jokingly.

"Dismissed," Celestia said with a chuckle. Get out of here."

Blitz let out a chuckle of his own before running out of the room.

Celestia then heard Citrus yelling from down the hall. "Come on, slowpoke! I'm gettin' old out here!"

The alicorn smiled and used her magic to close the door. Letting out a sigh, she leaned back.

"Oh, Blitz..." she cooed. "Such a procrastinator... I guess some things never change..."

Ruby giggled. "Wow..." She couldn't believe how her sister simply accepted the idea of belonging to another for sexual purposes.

"Nope," Ruby cooed, leaping to the ceiling and clinging to it. "I'm nobody's pet."

Jade chuckled. "Don't let them hear you say that. They may kick you out."

The green mare gasped, afraid something was seriously wrong with her sister. "Amber!" She yelled, rushing to her side and rolling the mare on her back. "What's wrong?"

"Weak?" Asked Jade, remembering their fight at New Horizons a couple days ago. "You haven't had sex in a while..."

"Take a right up here," Citrus said, pointing at an upcoming intersection.

"Anything for you..." the colt muttered.

The mare eyed him. "What was that?"

"Oh... Nothing..." Blitz said as he eyed her quickly before looking at the road again, a light blush on his face.

As they passed an alley, the mare looked in and gasped. "Blitz! Go back!"

The colt slammed on the brakes, causing a car behind them to swerve around them, honking the horn. Blitz then back up to the alley and parked on the sidewalk. Both then got out and entered the alley.

"Is that..." the mare began as she and Blitz approached text spray-painted onto the wall.

It read The Apocalypse Is Near in bold, bloody lettering. Beside the bloody graffiti was the body of a colt, his stomach cut open and his guts spilling out.

Citrus put a hand to her mouth and gagged. "I think I'm gonna be sick."

Blitz pulled out his cell phone and called Celestia, waiting for an answer. It wasn't long before he got one.

"Hello?" The alicorn asked rather quickly, as if she was sitting around and waiting for her phone to go off.

"Ma'am... It's Blitz," the colt replied. "We found something."

"Where is it and what is it?" Celestia asked, sounding urgent.

"In an alley a few blocks down from the bowling alley. Someone wrote The Apocalypse Is Near on a building using the blood of a mutilated colt... I think someone's trying to send a message..."

The alicorn let out a sad sigh. "Oh, my... This is very bad. Keep looking for more and let me know as soon as you find something."

Blitz nodded. "Alright, ma'am," he said. "Anything else you need?"

"No. Just be careful."

"Always," he said with a smile. "See ya later, ma'am."

"See you, Blitz," Celestia said, sounding like she was smiling.

He and Celestia both hung up before he looked at the mare.

"Come on," he said as he headed back to the car.

"What do you think?" Asked the mare, eyeing the colt. "Think this whole apocalypse thing is real?"

Blitz shook his head in disbelief. "I'm not sure... I was doubtful at first, but... seeing that..." he said, pointing at the corpse. "I'm not so sure anymore..."

"Well, I for one would like to believe this is all bullshit," the mare said with a sigh.

Both climbed back in as Blitz turned the key to start the car. There was a click noise before the car exploded into a fireball, car parts flying everywhere as smoke billowed into the sky. Accompanying the explosion were the screams of others walking by.
