Twilight sparkle had just settled down to think over the days events, you found a LIVING Human in the Everfree, you were attacked by a living Human in the Everfree, he went unconscious, you took him home and studied him a bit, then after letting him go he ran off, then there's now with the wizard sitting down pondering how the creature got there. "He seemed to have crashed onto the planet at an astonishing speed, but how in Equestria did he survive? He must have had some Human machine protecting him after all there was no way his physical structure could have withstood such damage without magic or machines, they may be tough but they're not invincible. But I have other matters to attend to, I have to send word to Princess Celestia about this recent development...SPIIKE!!!"

"Ah! Wha!? What is it!?" the dragon woke with a start and nearly fell onto his face.

"I need you to take a letter to Celestia."

Spike looked at her with a look of pure annoyance, "Twi you do realize it's two o'clock in the morning right, can't it wait til morning?" he begged.

"There's no time! I'm no psychologist but I'm pretty sure that the princess would want to know about an alien from another dimension arriving." She said with a slight air of superiority.

Spike, defeated fetched a quill, inkpot, and some parchment "Well spit it out." he said clearly annoyed.

"You shouldn't be so rude Spike."

"Is that the first sentence of the letter?" Spike chuckled before receiving a large pillow in his face, he looked up to see a rather angered Alicorn staring at him. "Okay, okay what is it? jeez"

"Dear Princess Celestia, at roughly one thirty PM today I was sitting in my study preparing to make up some invitations to my coronation when suddenly I heard a huge explosion coming from the Everfree, me and spike went to Fluttershy's to check on her while Applejack went to Zecora's hut to do the same. I am happy to say both were unharmed but after checking around where we heard the explosion we found something, well more specifically someone. A Human had crash landed into the Everfree! Shortly after the being woke up he pinned me to the ground and demanded I tell him where he was, after that he went after Fluttershy who was accompanying me and Spike to the crash site but almost as soon as he did he went unconscious. We quickly took the creature to our home hiding him with an invisibility spell as to not alarm the other residents of Ponyville and after about an hour he woke up. He seemed very eager to get out and I could've swore I heard some mechanical voice coming from in his head which would explain the sudden outbursts about how he had to stay there, after a quick medical examination he proceeded to leave. I think you should also know that he is armed and being human is probably prone to violent outbursts upon being angered. Sincerely your faithful student Twilight Sparkle."

"Is that all it?"

"Yes it is, please send it now." and so off it went in a small burst of flame "Let's hope Celestia will know what to do now go get some sleep, I realize your very tired and I'm sorry but I simply had to tell Celestia."

"It's alright, well goodnight." the baby Dragon said yawning

"Goodnight Spike."

12 minutes later...."SPIIIIIKE!!!!!!!"

"Oh Celestia please make the crazy bitch go away... WHAT!?!?! WHAT DO YOU WANT!!!!" A very tired Spike sat up in bed, he was extremely agitated as he had JUST finally gotten to get some sleep which he was rudely awoken from by his master friend Twilight.

"I just got a reply from Celestia! She said she's going to be sending an expert on Humans here to investigate, she should be arriving here by tomorrow afternoon isn't that nice?"

"Yes! Brilliant! Anything you say is awesome as long as it get's me closer to sleeping!"

"Oh, right sorry."

"Yeah whatever." and with that he was asleep for good until morning.

"TWIIIIIIILLLIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

the startled pony quickly shot up and jumped out of bed at the sudden screaming of her name, "What!? What happened!!! Is something wrong!?!"

"What do you want for breakfast?" Spike said standing in the kitchen with a small 'kiss the cook' apron on holding a spoon.

"Wh-wha?" Twilight said staring at him with a look of utter befuddlement,

"What. do. you. want. for. breakfast?" he replied pausing after each word with a sadistic yet cheerful smile on his face.

"........You woke me up just for breakfast!!?!?"

"Oh were you asleep? I hadn't noticed, terribly sorry but since your up now..."

"Waffles I want, no I demand waffles!!! So please make them!"

"Very well, waffles it is then! Should I make extra since we're having a guest over today?"

"Oh buck!!!! I forgot about that! We need to prepare! I'll go clean up, you get a shower after your done with breakfast!"

"Twilight I'm sure it's not going to matter, I mean it's not like Luna is visiting it's just some Anthropologist." Spike said trying to avoid as much cleanup work as possible since he barely had any sleep.

"Doesn't matter!?!? Spike don't you realize that a REAL scientist is visiting our home? Does that matter?"

Spike thought for a moment trying to devise an escape to the trap laid out perfectly for him ".....Pass?" Twilight shot a stern look at him before walking away muttering something about "No appreciation of science" Eh, I'll take it. he thought shrugging.

After a few hours of cleaning and re-cleaning and cleaning again the tree house was finally sterile. "Well we finally did it! And it may be the fumes from all the bleach and cleaning chemicals we used but I feel like a million bits! What about you Spike...Spike?"

"Please don't find me, please don't find me, please don't find me." Spike prayed while hiding under the cupboard not realizing that the cleaning had stopped and he was allowed to have a break.

"SPIIIIKE!!!!!!! WE'RE DOOOONE!!!!!!!!"

What did she say?!?! We're done!? OH THANK CELESTIA!!!! he burst out of the cupboard in a fashion that would put the Kool-Aid man to shame. "FREEEEDOOOOOOMMM!!!!!!"

"Stop screaming Spike!!! Our guest should be arriving soon."

"Ok so what do we do?"

Twilight thought for a moment, "I'm not sure, I guess just wait since the writer is too lazy to fill in the blank time between now and when the next plot motivator arrives we don't really have anything to do."

And so they waited until they heard a knock at the door "Oh! She's here!"

"Hello? Is anyone in here? I was told to visit here at twelve." a voice called from behind the door

"We're here!" The excited mage called as she trotted towards the door "I got a letter from Celestia saying you were coming, I'm excited to have another scientific mi-" she gasped as she opened the door and saw who had been sent and immediately shut the door and locked it behind her.

"What? Who is it?" spike said

Twilight looks at him smiling from ear to ear, "Behind this door is the greatest Anthropologist in Equestrian history!"

"Umm, are you going to let "the greatest anthropologist in history" inside?"

Twilight blushed "Oh! Yes, please come inside Doctor Heartstrings!" she opened the door and in walked a young mint colored unicorn with a picture of a Lyre for her cutie mark, she wore a small black trilby with a red ribbon tied round the brim.

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long, I didn't get to bed late because me and my fiancé had a umm date." she said blushing

"Oh not at all! How did your date go?"

"Oh it was great! She took to a cute little place near Stalliongrad!"

Spike looked confused, "Wait, what do you mean she?"

ignoring him, Lyra focused on Twilight again " So what EXACTLY happened yesterday? I need to know everything!" and so Twilight told her the story in full detail and with each word Lyra's eyes and smile got wider and wider.

"So after that he just off and left, he seemed very regretful about something. I heard a ruckus in the market but it calmed after a while, I suppose it's because of everypony seeing a human."

Lyra was writing some things on a clipboard, "Intriguing... you say there were more witnesses?"

"Well yes, the invisibility spell we put on him lasted only a short time." Twilight said

"Did you ask them about where he went?"

Twi froze and blushed in embarrassment, "Oh, well um I"

Lyra patted her on the back, "Hey don't worry! It's what I'm here for, I'm just happy to be on the trail of my fascination. Now let's go ask about and see what we can find." and so off they went In hopes of finding any information leading to the "Humans" whereabouts.
