"I'm not going with you Lyra". Lyra turn's around from the giant steel door ofthe stable a small tear forming in her eyes.

"Bio I thought this was overwith wealready established nothing can kill you, the fricken mega spells are powered by the same thing that powers your body they can't kill you ether". Several tears fell from her Lyra’s eye's making bio take deep nerves breathes.

"Lyra look at me then look at your reflection".

Lyra looks at bio still the same him he was when they met 20 years ago; a red main, coat, and tail with his black cutie markofa leaf, the planet, and a biohazard symbol in a circle divided into three parts, now she turns to the steel door seeing herself; her main, tail, and coat more grayand white then green and her wrinkles forming around her eyes.

More tears begin to form from her eyes. "Bio ... I."

"I can't age, i can't die lyra to see you die will cause me more pain than what any bullet, knife or mega spell, you’re the only one other than bluedrop that will die in that stable and I want you to rest in peace with your body laid to rest in a proper tomb notas a pile of ash blown away by the wind". Bio's eyes start to tear up as he hugs his crying wife closely. "If this works and I die it will count as suicide and if I end up in hell and I’ll fight my way to heaven so we can be together".

Lyra looks up to bio's face both their eyes filled with tears dripping down their cheeks, "bio if it doesn't work if you don't die promise me you'll still help ponies they way you have been".

Bio lets go of Lyra, wipes his tears and gives asoft smile to her. "ya like I always say words before hurt right"? Lyra still with a salty tear wet face softly smiles and leansin kissing bio in a love filled embrace.

"Wow bio what happened to that shy basterd that I spent three years hunting"?

Bio and Lyra stop to turn around and see a dark brown unicorn mare with a black main and tail, and a cutie mark that isthe number 33.

"Hey 33, lyra go put the rest of your stuff in your room I got to talk to 33".

Lyra look sover at 33 then back over to bio wiping the tears from her eyes. "Al... alright I’ll be back".

Bio playfully smiles. "I'll still be hear got 15 minutes before spell fire kill's everything".

Lyra smiles turning into the stable as 33 and bio wait until she is no longer in sight.

"So you gotthe results on lyra's body scan"?

"Ya I still don't know why you couldn't do the scan, she's your wife". A thin opening appearson 33'sside with a sheet of paper falling out.

"She knows me too well she'd know ifI was scanning her vitals". Bio takes the paper with his magic carefully reading every line. His eye's suddenly widen and the paper falls to the ground, 33 then uses her magic to burn the paper into ash, then looks over to bio after the paper is no more. "I thought your reaction would be shock, but is that all your feeling"?

"(Gulp) now I hope I die".

Out of shockand anger 33 punchesbio right in the jaw buthe is not fazed from the impact. "Bio how could you say that they might...".

" What they might come out like me we know the odds and ifthey don't they'll die in that stable too I’ll never have met them if I do die then I can meet them in the afterlife”.

"But if they come out like you they will live to see the stable door open and you can meet them then... and then you won’t be alone ever again".

Bio turns his head to the floor with a grim expression on his face. “Even if they are they'll be more organic than bio-mechanical I’ll out live them like I’ll out live Lyra, night fang and you".

"But you will have near eternity with them bio... " 33 lift bio's chin making them have eye contact. "If you survive the mega spells don't try to hide your self like before let the world know thereis some pony out there who is fighting the good fight".

Bio removes 33's hoof from his chin and gives a mischievous smile. "You just want an easy way to find me if i survive this don't you"?

"Is it that obvious"?

The two laugh as Lyra comes back from inside the stable. "Well glad to see you two can still laugh even though the end of the world is five minutes away".

"You know us, Lyra, 33 head on in already and stay safe". The two mares trot in half way before bio yells out to 33. "Hey33"!

33 turn’s around to bio from the still open door. "Ya"?

"Keep Lyra safe, and keep night fang away from her".

"I promise, and don't worry about night fang last I checked he and bluedrop were going at it in the bathroom, end oft he world and that stallion still puts his dick before anything else".

Bio slightly blushes giving a small laugh. "Ya he'll never change".

33 continues walking into the stable quickly followed by a flashing lightand a repeated buzzing, the giant door accompanied with a loud scratching noise moves into place until any open space left is filled with the giant six foot door of steel. Bio turns away with a few tears in his eyes out of the cave from where the stable was hidden, as he exits he is met by a battle scared Pegasus with an orange-tan coat with lightning blue main and tail.

"Hey flash".

"The fact that you didn’t go in their proves two things, one your an idiot or two your sure this will work".

"Thought you knew me better than that, I’m never sure of anything".

"True, so how is this suicide attempt going to playout"?

"IfI turn my primary defenses off the second the bombs go off it might be enough time for deadly levels of radiation to fry my circuits and bio-mechanical organic components before my automatic defenses kick in, with luck I’ll be dead beforeI hit the ground".

"And how close a call will it be"?

"... Close".

Flash and bio begin to hear a high pitch wistling in the distance.

"Well bio its show time".

A large ball of fire rises up into the sky with a fast blowing wind of heat and radiation engulfing the land including bio and flash as a blinding white light covers their entire bodies.

"Please let this work".

Before bio falls to the ground his synthetic skin and flesh burning all over his body one thought comes to mind.

"SWEET MOTHER OF CELESTIA THATS HOT"!
