... gangs didn't rule the streets. There was a time where the common pony could trot around freely without being mugged. Where half of your income didn't become protection payment. And somehow even the ponies of the town "New Manehattan" could somewhat thrived, in what most would call an unsurvivable wasteland. Yes. The ponies of New Manehattan lived in peace. With only minor threats from raiders every once and awhile.

But that all changed when the Queens took over.

A few years ago, the Queens marched their way into town and self proclaimed themselves the leaders. Completely disbanding the city's government. Their leader- a stallion know as "The King of Queens"- made a public announcement that same day.

Here's some of it.

".... and as your new king. I promise that from this point on, your safety and happiness shall be my utmost concern... But there will be a small cost, you dig?..."

That small cost was our freedom, rights, and democracy itself. Is our safety really worth being ruled over by an evil dictatorship? Is our protection really worth living in fear everyday? Is there no pony who can free us? Well there is....

And that's us, Deathwatch. And we will return democracy to our settlement.
