Jade wiped the steam from the mirror after taking a night shower, which she had taken to hopefully clear her thoughts. Looking at her own reflection, she began to have flashes of the past. Holding her head, she flashed back once again to the horrific scene...

The yellow and brown colts stared down at the werewolf as she was enjoying her meal. Amber's chest was ripped open and her arm bitten off. She was also missing her legs as Jade had made quick work of her.

Jade quickly put a hand over her mouth and dropped to her knees by the toilet. Quickly opening the lid, she threw up inside, before coughing and falling onto her side, crying and whimpering.

"Oh, Amber... I'm so sorry..." she said as she slowly curled up on the floor.

Dash lead Surprise and Ginger into the hotel as Chrysalis stayed in the car, thinking.

"Whoa, this place is amazing!" Surprise gasped as she looked around once they were inside.

Celestia smiled as she walked down the stairs, heading towards them. "You must be Surprise and Ginger," she said as she held out a hand.

Surprise smiled back and took her hand, shaking it. "We sure are."

"I'm glad Dash and Chrysalis got to you in time," the alicorn replied.

"Actually, I scared her off when I came back to the apartment," Surprise explained.

"Well, as long as you are safe..." She then looked at Dash. "And what of the Succubus?"

"She got away..." the cyan mare replied with a sigh. "Chrysalis let her escape..."

Celestia looked at the front doors as the Changeling entered, looking defeated.

The white alicorn nodded and patted Dash on the shoulder. "Find these two a room, okay?" She said as she walked towards Chrysalis.

Rainbow nodded and began leading the two mares to a room upstairs.

"Hey..." Celestia said gently as she approached the Changeling. "What happened?"

"I... I don't know..." Chrysalis replied as she shook her head, unsure. "I've never tracked a Succubus before but if they're filled with love energy... then I should be able to always sense her... But, with this one... I can only sense her when she's already seducing her victim..."

"I see..." the alicorn said with a sigh. "Well, you did your best and no one got hurt."

The Changeling gave a light smile. "Thanks," she said, before moving towards the elevator. "I would like your permission to... use one of the spare rooms in the basement to... make a shrine for my fallen children..." she said as she steppe into the elevator.

Celestia smiled. "Of course. No one ever goes down there..."

The queen smiled lightly again before fading into a sad frown as the doors closed.

Twilight left the buffet in the dining hall and went to find a seat. Spotting Trixie at the farthest table, she smiled and began heading over.

"Perfect," she said as she eyed her jacket pocket. She was wearing a purple shirt with blue jeans and a thin black jacket. Walking over to Trixie, she smiled and set her tray down. "Hey, Trix."

The blue mare looked upset as she eyed the purple unicorn. "Oh... It's you..." she said, not sounding very thrilled to see her.

Twi sighed and sat down across from her. "Is this about the... rape party?"

Trixie raised an eyebrow. "You would think that, wouldn't you?"

The unicorn smiled and shook her head. "Nope." She then left her tray as she moved to the chair beside Trixie. The blue unicorn eyed her with an annoyed look. "I have something for you."

"Does it involve you leaving me alone?"

Twi shook her head as she reached into her jacket's inside pocket and pulled out a star wand. Trixie's eyes went wide and she quickly grabbed it.

"My wand!" She exclaimed. "I-It's fixed! B-But, how did you--"

"Well, it just so happens that there's a spell for almost everything... including fixing things... You just have to know where to look."

Trixie smiled widely and looked at Twilight. "Thank you... This is the one good thing I have from the past..."

The purple unicorn smiled. "Of course, Trix, but... I do wanna let you know that... you don't need this to be good. A unicorn isn't limited. They just have to work at it. Some more than others, but... I believe with the right training... you could be casting some very powerful spells without the use of an object..."

Trixie stared at her with watery eyes as she looked down at her wand and gently set it on the table. "I-I don't... think I c-can..."

Twilight gently placed her hand on Trixie's. "I'm not asking you to give up the wand... or even ignore it. Use it as motivation but not as a means to cast spells." Trixie hesitated a little before looking up at Twilight again. "I actually read up on this a little... Casting magic through objects may be more accurate for beginners... but the effect is degraded. If you want... I could teach you."

Trixie sniffled before looking down at Twilight's hand. "You... You'd really do that for me?"

The purple mare smiled and nodded. "Mm-hmm... Of course."

The blue unicorn sniffled and wiped her eyes as Twi pulled her hand away. "Thank you," she said, looking down at her wand with a smile.

Twilight patted her shoulder before pulling her own food tray closer and started eating her salad. Trixie ran her hand up and down the wand's handle before eyeing Twilight, not saying anything but she certainly felt happier inside.
