Later That Night...

Ginger gave Surprise a kiss before the white mare moved to their apartment door. "I won't be long. I just wanna hit the shops before they close."

Ginger nodded. "Be careful. Remember, there's a scary monster out there," she said with a light smile.

Surprise gave a chuckle as she opened the door. "Sure. Back soon, babe," she said before leaving.

Ginger smiled before turning and heading towards the bathroom. She gripped the bottom of her shirt, ready to pull it off when something in the living room caught her eye. Letting go of her shirt, she turned and headed into the living room, making her way over to an open window.

Looking outside, she saw nothing. "Huh..." she muttered, closing it.

Turning around, she began making her way back to the bathroom, pulling her shirt off and tossing it aside.

Chrysalis let out a sigh as she nuzzled Shy's cheek, both still cuddling in the pegasus' bed. "I think we fell asleep..." she said with a chuckle.

Fluttershy let out a yawn and smiled, gently rubbing Chrysalis' back when there was a frantic knock on the door. Shy let out a light "Eep" before getting out of bed and grabbing her nightgown. Once she was dressed she made her way to the door and opened it, revealing an unhappy Dash.

"That thing in here with you?" She asked, getting a nervous look from the other pegasus.

"Um... Y-Yes, Dashie, we're... sort of dating now..."

The rainbow-haired mare went wide-eyed. "You're what?! With her?" She said, asking that last part in a loud whisper as if she realized how loud she as initially.

"What's the matter, Dash?" Asked Chrysalis, who was leaning against the bedroom door frame, still naked. "Jealous?"

"Jealous?" Asked Dash, glaring at the Changeling. Of you, maybe... Of Shy... no... I actually feel bad for her having to look at you when she wakes up."

"At least I have someone, Rainbow," the queen spat, beginning to walk towards the two mares. "Who do you have?"

"I have Twilight."

"I-I thought Twi was... with Midnight..." Fluttershy said softly.

Dash eyed her as Chrysalis chuckled. "More jealousy?"

"Sorry," Shy mouthed at Dash. Though, it seemed like she wanted to speak, only nothing came out.

"I could have anyone I want," Dash finally said. "I'm just not ready for a serious relationship yet."

"Sure, you aren't..."

"I'm not!" Dash protested.

"Girls, please..." Shy said as loud as she could muster. "You have a job to do... Right, Dash? Isn't that why you came here?"

Rainbow eyed the quiet pegasus before looking at Chrysalis. "Yes, and, unfortunately, I need her help..."

"Then, stop arguing and do your job..." Fluttershy pleaded. "Please. We're counting on you to find that thing..."

Dash eyed her again before returning her gaze to Chrysalis, letting out a sigh. She then patted Shy on the shoulder before turning and heading down the hall. "Get dressed and meet me outside..."

Chrysalis watched her leave and then sighed as well. "What a bitch..."

"Chryssie..." Flutters said, hearing the rude name-calling. "I know she can be really stubborn at times, but you two need to work together..."

The queen nodded. "I know, and... I suppose I could try to get along with her..." she said as she gently pulled Shy close to her. "For you..."

Fluttershy smiled up at her. "Thank you..."

Ginger turned the water on in her shower and stepped in. "Mmm, that feels good..." she said, sighing happily.

She and Surprise had found a really good deal on this hotel room. It came with a few perks, such as a big bathroom with a glass wall shower. Ginger then closed the glass door and closed her eyes, letting the water rush over her.

After a little while she heard the bathroom door open. "Surprise?" She asked. "Baby, is that you?"

She then opened the door with her eyes closed, trying to find her towel on the wall. Once she found it, she took it, realizing someone was holding it. "Thanks, babe," she said with a smile, wiping her eyes.

When she opened them she found herself face-to-face with a naked red mare with piercing red eyes. Ginger let out a scream as the red mare quickly moved towards her.

Chrysalis leaned against her door, looking out the window as Dash eyed her from the driver's seat.

"Fluttershy's right..." Dash finally said.

The Changeling nodded slightly. "Of course she is..." she muttered.

"We may hate each other, but we still have to work together, so... temporary truce?" She asked, holding her right hand out.

Chrysalis eyed her and slowly reached her hand out. The shake lasted for a fraction of a second before both pulled their hand away.

"So... Sense anything?" Dash asked.

Chrysalis shook her head. "No..."

Ginger scooted backwards until she hit the side of the tub, staring wide-eyed in horror as the red mare crawled towards her.

"P-Please, don't... h-hurt me..." the brown mare whimpered as Ruby crawled on top of her to look her in the eyes, their faces centimeters apart.

Ruby nodded and leaned in, sniffing Ginger's neck. "Attention... Unwanted..." She then lifted her head to look the mare in the eyes again. "I need to make sure you don't squeal anymore..."

"W-Wait, wha--?" Ginger started to ask when Ruby quickly grabbed her neck. Tears fell from her eyes as she stared at the red mare.

Dash nodded and quickly weaved through cars as she swerved right at the next intersection, making a few drivers honk their horns as they had to slam on the brakes.

Chrysalis shook her head and shrugged. "I-I don't know. This is my first time tracking a different species' love... But, going from the level of energy I'm feeling... I'd say she's getting ready to feed."

"Let me know if it gets stronger..." said the cyan mare, a determined look in her eye as if she would do anything to get to the victim in time.

Dash then got out of the car, pulling her gun. "Take the car and follow that thing. I'm going to check on the victim." Chrysalis nodded and slid into the driver's seat. "Oh, and... Chrysalis?"

"Yes, Dashie," asked the queen, knowing she probably wasn't going to like this.

"Scratch the car... and I kill you..." Dash warned before running towards the building.

Chrysalis let out a sigh as she closed the door. She didn't like it. The queen then slammed on the gas and took off as the Succubus leapt from the apartment building onto the roof of another building.

Inside the building, Dash ran up the stairs, counting the floors as she made her way to the 6th floor. "Four... Five... Six..." she said, before running down the hall to the room at the end.

A couple ponies were already standing in the hall after hearing the window shatter. Dash ran right passed them and barged into the room, looking around and spotting the broken window.

Surprise stepped out of the shower and noticed Dash's gun. "Were you looking for that red mare?"

"Red mare?" Asked Dash. "Well, that's certainly more information we could use," she replied with a smile, holstering her gun. "You know, you two probably shouldn't stay here any longer..."

"Well, where would we move to?" The white mare asked, tilting her head.

Dash smiled sadly. "After the recent battle at the hotel... there are plenty of rooms available..."

Surprise nodded sympathetically. "Well... Thanks," she replied with a light smile. "I'm sure we'd be much safer there..."

Ginger's panting slowed as she nodded. "Y-Yeah... Sounds safe."

Dash chuckled and took out her phone. "Let me make a call..."
