Jade hummed to herself as she swept the floor of Bit & Bridal. After a few minutes, she heard the sound of approaching vehicles.

"Huh?" she asked herself aloud, moving to the shop door and looking out.

She saw four black SUVs, with the New Horizons symbol on the side doors, coming down the road.

When Jade saw the symbol she gasped and went wide-eyed, backing up and dropping the broom. She then ran into the back room.

"Master!" she yelled, trying to hide her tears.

Flog looked up from his work desk. "Jade, what's wrong?"

"Master, I-I... I'm sorry..." she apologized before the crackling of a loudspeaker was heard.

"Would the owner of this shop please approach the front door?" the voice called. "You have someone who belongs to us and we want her back!"

Flog gave a small sigh as he stood up and slowly walked passed Jade, giving her a reassuring smile as he went to the door and looked out. "Is there something you wanted?" he called.

Standing in front of the group was a brown colt in a suit and sunglasses holding a megaphone. He put it away once he saw the colt. "Hello," he said, sounding surprisingly polite as he walked towards the door. "Sorry to bother you but I believe you have the one called Jade, do you not?"

"There is a mare by that name who lives here, yes," Flog said with a smile.

"Oh, she lives here... Well, sorry to say this but my boss wants her back. Now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, but... I really don't want to mess up this fine establishment so if you could just go fetch her for me, that'd be great."

Flog gave a small sigh as he looked inside before looking back to the colt. "She doesn't seem to want to come out."

Jade peeked out form the back room and gasped as the SUV doors opened up and more colts came out, 4 from each and totaling 16. The leader let out a sigh of his own and took off his shades, folding them up and putting them in his inside jacket pocket as the other suited colts pulled out handguns. They all held them pointed at the ground, awaiting the order.

"You have no idea what she is, do you?" he asked.

Jade whimpered before sniffling. She then took a deep breath and knelt down. After a second or two she let out a grunt as the bones in her spine shifted.

"I couldn't care less what she is or isn't. Now, move your van, please. It's blocking half the parking spaces," Flog said, adjusting his vest.

Jade let out another grunt and a gasp as the bones in her leg shifted, giving her double-jointed legs. Her fingers shifted and grew a little longer as her teeth sharpened.

"You're a fool if you're willing to sacrifice yourself for a mare you know nothing about..."

"Ah, but a selfless fool is the best kind... Now, please leave."

The suited leader stepped back and pulled his own gun. "Ready..." he said, cocking the gun. "Aim..." He and the others took aim. "F..." He was cut off as a roar echoed throughout the building. "Oh, shit..." the leader said.

Flog turned to look behind him with wide eyes.

Just then a giant furry wolf-like creature landed beside him, covered in green fur with long, white fur on its chest which seemed to cover a pair of breasts. It looked at Flog for a brief moment before opening the door and lunging outside. The monster then started tearing apart the colts. They all fired at it but bullets just seemed to irritate it. It wasn't long before the last one standing was the leader.

"Oh, you really fucked this up..." he said, looking at the wolf.

It quickly walked up to him and punched a hole in his chest, letting out a low growl before stepping back and watching the body fall to the ground. It then looked over at Flog.

Flog stared at the wolf for a long moment before speaking. "J....Jade?"

It hesitated before walking towards him. After a moment, it leaned forward and started walking on its hands and feet, getting up to the door and stopping. It looked back at Flog with its wolf-like eyes and whimpered lightly, it's bushy tail laying still on the ground beside it.

Flog slowly stepped towards her before moving around her and lifting her tail. "Heh... Guess it is you." He said pressing a finger against the plug in the wolves rear.

The wolf let out a low, happy growl before looking back at him. She then tapped the door with a finger as if to suggest that they move this inside.

"I suppose we can move this inside," he said, moving to the door before opening it.

The wolf nodded before looking around. She then moved to the bodies of the colts and began stuffing them back into the SUVs, doing her best to temporarily hide them.

As she did, she saw a familiar *Frost Phoenix* driving up.

She let out a low gasp and got to her hands and knees, her body slowly shifting back to normal as her bones could be seen shifting underneath her skin. Once she was normal again she took a deep breath and quickly ran inside, completely naked now.

Inside she was met by Flog who was setting out some chairs.

"So... H-How are we?" Jade asked, sounding nervous. "Are you... mad that I... never told you?"

"That depends... What was that I just saw?" Flog asked, setting a chair down and pointing to it for her to sit.

The mare walked over hesitantly and sat down. "What do you mean?" she asked.

"I mean, what are you, pet?" Flog asked as he took a seat, facing her wile Sterling walked in and wordlessly did the same.

Jade looked at the dragon and then the colt. "Well, uh... I guess the easiest way to explain it would be... a genetically-altered werewolf..." The green mare then added, "I wasn't always like this... I was normal once... and then New Horizons came along and offered me and my family money if they could do a quick drug test... Turns out they infused me with wolf DNA, along with a bunch of other shit, and made a super-werewolf, once who can change whenever it wanted, day or night... After the tests were successful they blocked that part of my memories so I'd only know about the wolf half once they wanted to activate me... and use me... Well, I ran away, at that point thinking that I had been kidnapped with no memory of my past... It was only when you knocked me unconscious did I remember everything..."

"So... You knew from the time we took you till now?" Sterling asked.

Jade nodded. "I did, yes... In fact I spent most of my time alone that day of the test crying as I remembered what happened to me..."

"I see," said Flog.

"So, uh... h-how do you feel having... someone like ME... living here?" Jade asked nervously.

"Well... We know you're house broken... Might need some more training but I don't see any reason I would mind," Flog said as Sterling gave a huff.

Jade looked at her. "You hate me now, don't you?"

"I don't hate you... I'm just not happy you kept this from Master," the drake said.

"Once I remembered... I just wanted to forget again... I hoped if I left it alone, I would..."

"You'd forget?"

Jade nodded. "It was all so much simpler... being normal... Now, I'm this..." she said, holding her hand up as it started to change into a werewolf hand, her bones shifting and fingernails becoming longer and sharper. She then sighed. "I wish I could forget..."

"We can't just forget the past, Jade... All we can do is accept it," Flog said as he reached out and scratched her behind the ear.

Jade smiled and closed her eyes, tilting her head a little as a dog or cat would do. Flog chuckled as he began scratching her neck as well. Jade then tilted her head back, exposing her neck and letting out a low growl.

As she did, Sterling let out a small giggle. "Guess we should've called you pup instead of kitten."

"I got used to it after a while, but... it was a little insulting at first... I guess the wolf DNA gave me wolf-like instincts, too..."

"That explains that sniffer of yours," Flog said, tapping her nose.

Jade giggled as her hand shifted back to normal, the skin rippling as her bones moved. "I'm lke your own personal guard dog now..."

"More like a puppy with the way you ran in here after I drove up," Sterling called with a giggle.

"Well... I kinda wanted to explain myself before you saw... What was your first thoughts when you saw me?" she asked, sounding curious.

"Well... My first thought was something along the lines of... What the hell?"

Jade smiled. "Good thing this isn't a busy part of the city, yeah? Otherwise I would've drawn some... attention..."

"Well, I do like my privacy... Keeps the sleezes out," Flog said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, if they saw the shit we do in here..." Jade said with a soft laugh. Sterling and Flog both chuckled at the thought. "Speaking of which, if you wanna do things to me in my wolf form and you happen to get a certain goo all in my fur... I ask you give me a bath afterwards... It's the wolf part of me that likes to stay clean..."

"I suppose we can do that."

The green mare smiled. "Thanks, master..."
