Introduction.

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there came an era of Science, ordeals, and upheavals. With the stars as targets, Science competed with its wise and ancient sister: Magic which, seeking for revelation and inner contemplation looked at its younger relative with fear and suspicion. Both so stretched apart, found their most vivid expression in Ponykind: Ponies who, always led by great intentions, threw themselves at each other’s throat. They waged a war that spiralled out of control and soon blood quenched the thirst of Equestria’s furrows. At the end, when the mists of war finally dissipated, an unexpected outcome shook the nation’s foundations. Magic, though raw and powerful, had been defeated.

As everything comes with a price, Ponykind lost its most precious gift in the process: Equestria itself.

Kiln of a long lasting battle of ideologies, the admirable land that saw the birth of Ponykind was no longer fit for life. In consequence, Science did what it was meant for from the start, aiming skywards at the stars and beyond the cold emptiness of space.

The time of Ponies on Equestria was over, though the end it was not. A new epoch ensued: an era of exploration, expansion, exploitation, and of course… extermination. Ponykind spread, broke down, and thrived, feeding on as many divides as the mysteries that still lie far up the stars.

And, as everything, the sky was forever changed.
