Chains

Old rusted chains moved around slowly, sounds of it moving echoed through the deep cave, a large creature for one thousand linked tungsten chains held it captive. Unable to move more than a inch from his spot, a creature that looked much like Discord, lifted his head up.

With his eyes still closed he could smell a feint sent of decay. Frowning he dropped his head once again, trying to remember who, or what he was. He sighed, that's right, he wasn't a pony, but wasn't a dragon, he was both. A hybrid forced into being bound by heavy chains that would serve to his untimely death.

The cave air was damp, holding the sent of death for much longer than it was supposed to. Tiny droplets of water smacked the cave floor, breaking the deafening silence he was trapped in. If his memories served him right as they were supposed to, the cave was located close to the sun and moon goddesses's temple. Was it a temple? He couldn't quite place his finger on it.

Oh that's right, he was a hybrid, legs of a horse, and arms of a dragon, sharp razor like talons that acted much like fingers. He had ears like a horse, and two little stubs for horns that just peaked out of his head. His body was long and slender, and his tail was just as long. He was the color of ash, and his eyes were two cat like orbs of deep green, much like how a forest would be.

He struggled to remember how he got covered in these heavy chains. Memories flashed, in and out of focus, only able to remember  he was locked away with the ponies who raised him. His father, a pony who cared about him, no matter the fact he wasn't a normal pony. And his mother, a kind pony who wasn't really his mother, but cared about him nonetheless. His real mother was a Serpentine Dragon that lived far to the east of Equestria, she was from Piena, and acted as a goddess of protection. She guarded homes of little fillies who had no parents.

These memories that he fought to remember kept him in line, and when he could open his eyes, he saw two skeletons of ponies. A lone tear slid down his face, he saw he had slept for too long. It had all felt like ten minutes, but he was wrong. There lying on the other side of the darkish room in the cave, shackled to the wall, were his loving parents.

With his eyes open he saw that his chains were old, and looked weak. The smell of a binding spell was feint, which ment, he could use all his might to break free. He pushed himself forward violently, and the chains that held his left arm broke like a twig. Smiling at his success, he used his free arm to snap the rest of the chains that bound him to the floor.

As he stood, he waited a few moments of his new freedom to pop his joints. He moaned slightly, enjoying this feeling of release. His muscles ached, but soon as more blood started to flow, they like him, found new energy. He looked back at his wings, a few holes here and there, but nothing a bite to eat couldn't fix. It was something else he could remember, he healed much quicker the more food he digested.

A rush of hate started to pulse through him as he took a moment to let the blood from his head work back down to the rest of his tall body, one much larger than Celestia's. He wondered what he hated so much, that made him so angry. Strange flashes of bits of his memory sped by like light through expanding space. It greatly confused him that he couldn't get a handle on his awaking mind. It was like having a suction cup was sticking to the side of his head draining not only blood like a leach, but his ability to think.

He grunted as he punched the cave wall, a thick line split the cave wall from the dent his fist made. There wasn't any other way to vent his burning hate, a temperature not even Tartarus could replicate. Only flashes of hooded ponies gave him any clarity if one could call it clarity to give him understanding.

The only thing left to do now, remembering his name. Something that was more important than the anger he had. S...Sal. Sal? Why could he only remember the first part. He knew even his first name was a little longer, followed by two last names his dead parents had. Remembering them brought him the answer, but only one-third of it. His first name, Salas, which what he could make out, meant magic.

His eyes narrowed as he walked towards the exit of the cave. The sun was shining overhead in the noon position. His weak eyes snapped closed, and he moved his claw over his head, blocking some of the blinding light the sun radiated over the blissful land of magical talking equines the solar goddess called Equestria.

"Damn..." He said. Once he was able to see, he saw the forest he once called home looked much large from the last time he saw it. Over to his left, Salas saw a broken down castle. A memory flashed, he remembering seeing a beam of bluish magic breaking the roof of the temple...castle, whatever. He shrugged, looking at the dense forest, he shook his head, and jumped into the air.

Flapping his wings he gained altitude, and slapped his face looking at the town on the other side of the lush green forest. It wasn't there before he was bound inside the cave. He wondered how long he was asleep, his parents being a pile of bones, he guessed roughly two hundred years.

Salas flew onward towards the town that wasn't there before. Along the way he started to think about his parents. They had sacrificed themselves protecting him, a deed that wouldn't go unnoticed. He wasn't the one to not return a gift.

He arrived just outside the town, it looked rather large. The land it sat on was covered in thatch roof cottages, and ponies in multiple colors walked about with smiles on their faces. He'd remain on the edge of the forest where he spotted a white crumpled up parchment.

As Salas bent down to pick it up, he sat down behind the tree it was sadly up against. The first thing that caught his eye was the date, followed by a large tree. He quickly laughed at the irony, then read the date. Gasping he flipped around the tree he hid behind.

"Surely this isn't true?!" His childish voice asked with a hint of sadness.

He opened his wings, and flew to the ruined castle he knew to be his last place he visited before he went into his deep sleep, forced by a memory he couldn't remember. It was the only thing he could find comfort in being around. A town full of the ponies who hated him in the past, surely hated him even in the future he wished he was dreaming. Everything was too real to be one, that he understood.

"Twilight, I would like to thank you again for helping us look for our royal armor from our past." Celestia smiled, drinking a cup of tea in their old room in the ruined castle.

Twilight Sparkle nodded looking at her former mentor, waving a hoof with a gentle smile. "It's no big deal princess, I'm glad I could help you two look for them." He ears fell back behind her head as her smile vanished like Nightmare Moon's face on the moon on that fateful night she met the friends she could wish she could meet over again. "I just wish I could be more helpful. They are no where to be found."

Luna shook her head. "Dearest Twilight, if you weren't helpful, you wouldn't be here now drinking some Chi tea with us." The lunar princess lifted Twilight's head with her hoof, and gave the most honest smile in the world. "Thou shalt remember that when we continue our search. Our armor is important to us, but because we live in peace and harmony, we doubt there shalt be a single lick of trouble in other kingdoms."

Celestia couldn't help but nod in agreement with her younger sister. "Lulu is right Twilight..." She paused for a moment, and looked up in the sky. A wave of energy bent the field that gave her warning to any who came close to the castle while their search was on. "Somepony is here...its big."

"Is it the girls?" Twilight asked sounding slightly ecstatic to see her friends. However a low and slowly shake of the solar princess's head shot her down like a deflating balloon.

"Just one creature, its big like I said." She began standing with a long frown. "I think it is time to take our places on our old thrones sister."

Luna stood up with Twilight, both looked quite confused. "Due explain yourself sister."

"Who else knows about this castle?" Celestia asked, then she raised her hoof before they could answer her. "Let me rephrase the question. Who would come to this castle...alone no doubt?"

Twilight looked to Luna, frowning as they walked out. "I don't know...maybe Spike, he knows his way here. Maybe he was getting lonely."

"I thought thou had said the tiny dragon was with generosity?"

Twilight facehoofed with a sigh. "That's right, so that takes him ou-"

"Ssshhh!" Celesita hissed, hiding behind the wall.

The other two princesses looked around the corner, and saw a creature that looked much like Discord. It walked on it's back legs at it held a paper in its hand. Looking around it inspected the ruined castle with a long sad frown over it's draconic-like pony face. Its long tale had green mane that trailed from the top of its head down to the tip in a single strip.

It began talking to itself. "I wish I knew what happened." It said looking at the paper. "A thousand years, and the sun is still up? I was sure Luna was taking over."

Celestia looked at Luna, they silently nodded to one another, casting a spell that changed the way the castle looked. The creature looked around, seeing the castle repair itself, fallen pillars fixed themselves, and two large flags, one of the sun and the other moon, fell over two chairs.

The regal mares walked from their sides, smiling to one another.

"And who might you be?" Celestia asked.

"Come to seek audience with us?" Luna joined in.

The creature backed away, but felt a force keep him from going any further. Panic started to form in its cat-like eyes.

"You did come to seek us, right?" Celestia sat down in her chair, it felt like stone, but looked like it was covered in a soft cloth.

"I-I-I" It stuttered, it's hind legs shook much like how Fluttershy's legs would when she wouldn't want to go anywhere out of fear for what may come later on. "P-P...PRINCESS!" He shouted turning, but his face smacked into an invisible barrier.

"What is the matter creature? Do you not wish to speak to the ones you came to?" Luna asked stepping from her throne. "Tell us why you fear my sister and I."

Its eyes grew in shock, and horror as he silently begged to be killed swiftly, rather than being bound to a cave.

Celestia saw this intense fear before, but couldn't place her hoof on it. A matter to deal with in the future. However it was fear that kept it from speaking. She stood, and approached the dragon-like creature with a soft smile.

"There is no reason to fear us, please, tell us who you are."

"S-Sal-Salas!" It spat out, hiding behind its tail.

Celestia's eyes grew wide in shock, and it didn't take Luna long to remember as well.

"SALAS!?"

The Law of the Sun

Celestia and Luna looked at one another in shock. Mostly because they thought they were seeing a ghost. The solar princess even approached the creature as to touch him. It yelped in shock, getting into an even tighter circle. She backed away from Salas, and sat down.

"Twilight..." Celestia said softly, though her voice had gone to an apparent shocked tone. "Lulu. Please, tell him that we shall not harm him." She raised her voice slightly, but it sounded light.

"Thou must know we shall not hurt thee, and that we wish to know how you have survived through our banishment?" Luna sat down next to her sister, and looked to Twilight. The mare nodded to the smaller princess assuring it was safe, and that if anything happened. "Come now Twilight Sparkle we-"

"Sparkle?" Salas's voice grew to a dark tone, scaring the shit of the mare in question. It was though all of his fear was replaced with anger, even his green eyes had turned a shade of red that was like fresh blood. He stood up, towering over the princesses, a yellow sheild grew over them, but completely surrounded Twilight. "A Sparkle....now I know why I feel this anger..." His voice grew low, losing its childish aspect, and was replaced with the voice of an angry parent.

Celestia looked deep into the creature's soul, and saw hate burning like wildfire. "Calm down, and explain yourself." She said, trying to protect her former student. "I assure you that no harm should come to you if you explain your hate to my student."

Salas's eyes locked onto Celestia. "And you....princess, I hate you most of all." His voice began to raise in volume. "Shoot the messenger, kill the sender..." He inhaled deeply, but Luna was first to react, by bucking him, causing his breath. Violet smoke shot out of his mouth as he took a few steps back.

"You shalt not hurt my dear sister foul demon!" She barked. "Or so help you, we shall bring you down in firey hail!"

Salas looked at the three princesses, almost giving a audible growl in distaste. "Fine..." He said as his eyes turned to a firey orange.

Celestia almost smiled, almost. She lowered the sheild, looking at how the smoke had lingered above his head. "Good, now, let's be peaceful, we haven't hurt each other yet, and I would like to keep it that way." Luna nodded in agreement. "Now, please tell us why you are so mad at my student and I."

"You banished me to a cave." His eyes turned a light blue, and Celestia began to notice a strange magic surrounding him. It her she knew it as Mood Magic. It was a type of magic that physically altered the body in some way. It was much different than just a smile or a frown, maybe her sister could see this. "My parents are dead...the ones that loved me anyways."

"I only remember banishing my sister..." Celestia said softly looking to Luna. The mare frowned remembering her mistake from long ago. "I do remember telling a guild master by the name of Hazel Sparkle to send me to you for study, and to perhaps ask you a few questions."

"Hazel...Sparkle..." He said his eyes turning back to orange, but it was more yellow. "So...you wanted to...see me?" Salas sounded calmer as he sat back down.

To this point Salas was mixed up in a mess that started a thousand years ago. However, he still hated the name Sparkle to whomever bore it. Something that wouldn't go away any time soon. He looked at Twilight with a mixture of hate and confusion.

"I did!" Celestia nodded with a kind smile. "But, now that we are here, perhaps we can speak now?"

He nodded slowly. "I don't see why not." A smile began to form. "And maybe we can talk about catching me up. I assume things have changed now that my parents are pile of bones..." The last part of his sentence sounded sad as his voice changed back to its childish state.

Celestia and Luna nodded. "I think that is fair. Although you must know that we have lived in peace for a thousand years, you will not change this by harming a princess." She looked to Twilight who seemed to calm back down, slightly. Salas, though he wanted to take his revenge, it was out of the question he was out matched. He fought to stand up, the magic flowing from the trio of princesses who all stood in front of him in more, aggressive stances, but their horns weren't charged, with that he thanked. All he did was nod slowly as his eyes returned to their dark green color. "I've noticed something strange." Celestia started, taking a moment to let notice this as well. "Your...eyes, I sense Mood Magic, I would like to know my feelings are correct on this."

Salas nodded. "I suppose it is a gift from my real mother, as with my wings, and body type." He lowered his hands down to his feet as he turned hearing a few birds fly though the building. "Now it is my turn." His body flipped back around. "How many years has it been?" His voice cracked, as he rubbed his eyes that turned sort of a sea green.

"A thousand years, like that news paper says." Celestia pointed to the paper in Salas's hand. He looked at it, then back at Celestia.

"Then I guess that is why she-" Salas pointed at Luna. "-is here. Did something happen?"

"Actually-" Twilight finally spoke up. "-my friends and I freed her from her curse of heart."

'Then?"

"She's been working her hardest to help the ponies to find a way to forgive her actions." Celestia smiled. "However, she doesn't believe me when I say they already do. If they hadn't there would be chaos on the level of Discord." Celestia chuckled at the last part. "Anyhoof, it is my turn now." She stood up, approaching Salas with a kind, motherly smile. "How long are you planning staying in Equestria?"

Salas hadn't thought about this, in fact it was the last thing he would ever think, but here was his goddess of the sun, asking him, how long he wished to stay. He lowered to a bow, taking his eyes off of her, he hadn't known what she would expect of him.

"Do you mean I may stay?" He asked, he looked at Twilight. His eyes flashed red, then turned back to green.

Celestia nodded, however not without seeing the flash. She grunted, holding in her anger, but knew that there wasn't much of anything she could do to hold the creature back. "Yes, but you shall not lay a hoof, or claw on Twilight. I do not know how, or why you are mad at her. But she hasn't done anything to you." Celestia stepped forward, her voice was harsh, but only showed care towards her subject. "Do you understand Salas."

Salas frowned, however he chose to nod slowly. He walked towards Twilight, not showing any hostility towards the lavender mare. He lowered himself to her level by getting on all fours. With a fake smile that even would make Apple Jack facehoof, he held out his right hand out of respect, offering his friendship.

Twilight hesitated, accepting the gesture, leaving a slight smile that grew on her face.

"I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, of magic, and leader of the elements of harmony."

It took a moment to remember his name, only remembering his middle, so he thought for a moment, eventually deciding to use it as his last until he remembered his step-mother's name. "And I'm Salas Strike, son of Lucky Strike, and the goddess of protection."

Twilight tilted her head, raising a brow. "Goddess?"

"My mother, she's the Peinese goddess of Protection, but if my dad told me right, she mostly protected little fillies who lost their parents in wars or had awful parents." He nodded with a honest smile.

Celestia sat down and clapped her hooves together. "Lovely!" She smiled. "Now, if we can try finding our armor, we can return to Ponyville."

"I would like to help, if that is alright." Salas bowed. "For thanks."

"If we may ask thou why you thank us?" Luna asked softly.

"You allow me to stay in your land, after my threats...it is the least I can do."

"As you wish Salas."

"Great!" Salas jumped over, smelling Celestia and Luna. The princesses were shocked at first, but once he started to sniff about much like how a trained dog would, he bolted down the castle halls shouting with glee.

"He's....lively" Luna chuckled. "We might have amany days in which we may find entertainment in the Vikrin."

"Vikrin?" Twilight asked. "Wait! He's the Vikrin!"

Luna nodded, raising a brow. "You hadn't known dearest Twilight?" She looked ahead, watching Salas rush about the castle, weaving around every corner without even taking time to slow down as he made the most graceful turns the princesses had even seen. "That is as big as he is going to get, thankfully, but his mind is that of a child until he's angry. What gives him his wings is the  genes of his father."

"I thought dragons had those kinds of wings?"

"You are right, but sometimes genes can...mix. Much like everypony, his DNA is that of a Serpentine Dragon from Piena. So they must have mixed, giving him the scaled wings." Celestia explained. "Lets help him, I'm sure his nose is still waking like much of him."

The other two princesses nodded, walking deep into the ruined castle.

The Order of the Watchful Wings

Long ago...9 years before Luna's banishment...

"Salas, there are evil ponies out there." Lucky held his son as an egg in his hooves. "Very evil ponies. Ponies who would want you for your powers." He sighed resting the egg on a flush red pillow next to his bed. "But not everypony is evil...There are ponies like me, who loves all."

A mare walked in chuckling. "Like me Lucky?" She smiled, waving her hips from side-to-side.

"Crystal, how was your day at the castle?" Lucky planted a kiss on his wife, smiling as they rubbed their noses. "Did you have any trouble?"

"No, the princesses were very helpful with our situation." She looked over at the yellow and red egg. "Has everything been okay? You've kept it warm?"

"I rested it in the coals of the fire for a couple hours while I was out shopping." He frowned, and his head dropped low, looking at the ground. "I wish I could work." He limped over to his bed. "This damn leg won't heal."

Crystal slowly approached Lucky. "You live up to your name hun...those Diamond Dogs are brutal." She kissed him on his forehead, then lifted Lucky's head to look into his eyes. "You're lucky that the princess was able to save you before..."

"I know..." Lucky sighed, looking at his son's egg.  "What do you think he'll see me as? I'm worried he'll hate me for whatever he turns out as."

Crystal's ears fell behind her head, and rubbed her head on Lucky's side. "As long as you and I love him, I don't think Salas will care." She lightened her frown to a slight smirk. "I'm glad I've had the chance to be with you Lucky. Though you're a pegasus, and I'm a unicorn....I'm glad this worked out. When Salas hatches, he'll be as strong as you, maybe stronger than Celestia!"

This brightened Lucky's mood, he hugged his wife with a tight embrace. "I love you Crystal...I don't know what I would've done if you hated me for what I did."

Crystal shook her head. "I can't have a foal of my own anyways. I was sworn into my guild to never have one, but they didn't say I couldn't love."

Salas rubbed his head as he turned over on a small rock he was sleeping on. Back in the forest, he found a weird tree that seemed to glow with warm light. It had six gems in the shapes of an apple, a crystal gem, a butterfly, a star, a red lighting bolt, and a odd looking shape that looked like a strange spear of some kind.

Shrugging he looked around inside the cave, a pink flower was in front of the tree, looking as though it had just bloomed with life bursting out. The tree gave off massive amounts of magical energies that made Salas cough from time to time. His lungs, in fact his whole body felt the pressure that pulsed in waves that purified the land around it.

Taking a few steps out of the cave he saw Celestia speaking with her student Twilight. It looked as though the sun was rising from the east in a calm manner, taking its time as it walled across the sky. Stretching out his arms, he gave a long, fulfilling yawn that helped his brain to start waking up.

He took his right hand, and licked it to pat down his green mane on his head, down to his tail. As he did this, Celestia looked down towards Salas, speaking inaudible words to her student on top of the cliff. The lavender mare nodded, trotting away into the forest in the directing of Ponyville. The princess, glad Twilight had left to return to Ponyville, flew gracefully down to meet Salas.

"Good morning Salas, I do hope you've slept well."

He nodded as he popped his back, moaning slightly as the air that was in between his bones were released. "It-ugh! Was alright...oh...yeah..." He scratched his back, and bowed to the princess. "And good morning princess to you too."

Celestia chuckled. "I know you only just woke up, but I can't but wonder who was your mother."

"A dragon, I thought I told you that...did I?" He asked himself under his breath.

"No, no, I ment the one who raised you."

Salas knocked on his head trying to think. What was her name..."I think it was...Crystal...Crystal...somethin'."

"I see...I figured as much."

"What is it? Did she do something wrong?!" Salas asked, stepping a bit closer. He felt her magical energy radiate off of her. It was like stepping on a beach on a warm summer day.

"Oh! No!" Celestia said shaking her head. "She was a student of mine before Luna left. She showed much of her own power, and asked for a spell to hatch a dragon egg."

"Mine?!"

Celestia smiled. "I think so...but I still don't understand why Hazel would do what she did." She lowered her head. "I've tried looking in the Celestial Plane for several hours, but her memories or the memories of her guild can be seen."

Salas huffed in annoyance, waving his claw towards Celestia. "Don't worry...I know things'll get better princess, but thank you for trying."

Celestia smiled. "For one who was afraid of us two days ago, you've warmed up to my sister and I well, although I still don't know why you continue to despise my student." She raised a brow. "Do you hold a grudge?"

Salas nodded slowly. "I want to act on my parent's death. They suffered a fate I could live through because of me, and that unicorn."  He looked to the sky, watching the wild clouds move in slow motion. "I understand and forgive you and your sister for my fate, but I refuse to just let something like this slide. Whether or not she did it, it's the family name that must suffer."

Celestia's smile vanished. "I hope you will not harm anypony. I understand that you are mad, and was bound when you were only six. However, you must know that planning to murder is outlawed in its own sense, planning to murder a princess could get you back in that cave." She sighed heavily. "Please, I wish to maintain peace in Equestria as long as possible."

Salas nodded, looking back at the princess. "I want something in return then." He said as his eyes began to change black, and his pupils turned white.

Celestia took a step back, her heart rate started to pick up slightly. "A-and what would that be?"

"Balance..." He said with reverb in his voice. "I suffered for no reason other than my existence, and I cannot do what I wish in your lands."

"What would you like to...balance the scales?" She asked, calming down from her initial shock.

"I want her..."

Celestia's eyes opened wide with shock as she took a sharp inhale. "W-what do you mean?"

"I want her..." He repeated. "I'll do what I must, but in the end, she'll be mine. She'll serve me until she repays her debts her family has caused."

Celestia stomped her hoof down, shaking her head. "I will not allow such acts. She is royalty, and will not be treated as a slave!" She stepped closer getting into Salas's face. "Understand?!"

His face scrunched up in disgust. "Get out of my face...I am a half-dragon, so your magic will not work on me. Place spells all you want to shield me from her, but, I will make sure I get what I want." He pushed her back. "I've done nothing to deserve my fate Princess Celestia! I've suffered, and will continue to mourn over my parent's death because of what I am!" His eyes turned blue as tears began to steam down his face. "I WANT MY FAMILY! BUT I CAN'T HAVE IT! BECAUSE OF THAT DAMN SPARKLE!" They turned purple as he continued to cry, punching a tree to the ground with a single swing of his fist. "IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?! TO HAVE MY FAMILY BACK!?"

"You know I no pony can bring a pony back once their soul has passed on!" Celestia shot back, although she didn't shout despite it all. "Salas, I'm sure you can think of something else other than to have Twilight Sparkle dead or as your slave! Everypony owes the elements of harmony, which includes Twilight mind you, their lives...even me..." She teleported in front of Salas. "You may contact me at any point in time when you do. Until then, do as I say since you live in my kingdom, and don't lay a hand on her unless it is a bucking hug." Celestia turned around. "I live in the east tower in Canterlot, you have means to fly there, so when you've made up your mind..." She teleported away before she finished, leaving Salas alone in the woods outside of the cave he slept in.

Running from Rainbows and Seeing Black and White

Stepping inside the library, Twilight's five wonderful friends all murmured to themselves. Rainbow Dash was the last to enter, she lazily stepped inside, not completely awake quite yet. It was still early in the morning, only being 8 am, her violet eyes were mostly hidden by her heavy eyelids.

Stopping to yawn, Rainbow Dash rubbed her eyes slowly, and when she removed her hooves, she saw that her friends' jaws were slammed on the ground. Her vision was still blurry, but after a few blinks, she saw the strangest monster she has ever seen. Her once heavy eyes, were lighter than one of her feathers as she gleamed into its eyes.

"Whoa...." She said. "I'm seeing things..." She said, rubbing her eyes more.

"Rainbow, ah I don' think you ain't seein things...Cus' I see it too." Apple Jack said, shaking her head.

"I'm glad you girls are here." Twilight said walking in, handing the creature a glass of water. As it drank, Twilight continued with the greetings. "This is Salas Strike, he's our new project." She almost smiled at the thought, almost. "It's our job to help him reform."

The Salas glared at Twilight, though her magical energy was almost as strong as Celestia's, all the ponies in the room were giving off the same power as the tree he slept near in a cave.

"So...what is it?"

"I'm male...I don't like being called a it, when I am a he." He groaned taking a few gulps of water.

"T-tw-Twilight...I-is he...s-saf-safe?" Fluttershy asked, hiding behind her gloriously long pink mane. Salas nearly died of cuteness.

"Oh!" He yelped tripping as he approached her. "Y-you are so cute..." He awed at her. Rainbow Dash blushed, jumping in between the mare and Salas. "Why you gotta scare her bub!?"

The smell of raw emotion, and magical fused, causing him to cough from the lack of balance in the area. He fell over, coughing, each time he inhaled, a loud exhale of forced air escaped his mouth every few seconds. Fluttershy, ignoring her fears, ran to aid him. She grabbed the glass of water, and lifted his neck above his body as she gently poured the clear liquid down his throat.

After the coughing had long subsided, Fluttershy smiled at him. "Are you okay now Salas?" She asked him softly, her voice was like the non-physical form of pillows hitting your face so gently you couldn't get hurt by it. No, her voice was like the myth of angels using their voices to heal with their mystical melodies.

He rubbed his neck for a moment, then nodded, looking at Rainbow Dash, who's face was beginning to look like a straw berry.

"A-alright Shy, I think he's fine." She said, hiding her blush by looking away from the butter yellow mare and the rest of the group. "You can let go of him..."

Salas, seeing the oblivious situation arise, mixed with the emotions and magic of a very strong friendship that would be so boldly known as kingship, he got up on his own to get to the other side of the library floor. He sat down slowly, still rubbing his neck.

"Such a pity a dike loves a fem like her."

If Rainbow Dash was a twig, you could hear the snap. Everypony gasped in shock as they all had their wide eyes looking at Rainbow Dash while Fluttershy was blushing ferociously red, as if all the blood in her body went to her beautiful yellow cheeks.

"What did you just call me bud?" She stepped to him, it was as though she was leaving burns in the floor as she walked. Her wings were unfolded over her back, sticking straight up.

"I think I called you a d-i-k-e...relationships like that aren't allowed you foolish pegasus, but I'll keep that a secret between us." He winked. "Of course, I can't say the same for your friends here."

"Um, I think you should run deary." Rairty said, fanning herself with her hoof. "I don't like blood, makes me ill to heart."

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Rainbow Dash shouted with ungodly rage. She shot forward towards Salas, but the Vikrin used his body to wive around her with ease.

"I like games, if you catch me I won't tell!" He laughed, rushing out the door. Ponies screamed in horror as they saw him bolt out of the library. "Good luck!" His once small wings expanded to the size of him on each wing, and he bolted forwards towards the forest.

From behind him Salas heard a violent boom!. He turned his head, still keeping his course, and saw wave of energy in multitude of colors. Shooting from it was Rainbow Dash, blasting at amazing speeds with a look of utter hate across her faces as she bolted after Salas.

I'm going to need to use more energy just running from her, but how long can she fly? Salas asked himself as he tilted his wings down. He shot down into the Everfree, with Rainbow in pursuit, and hot on his tail. He laughed with a cheerful grin on his face, he turned his head back. "I HAVEN'T FLOWN THIS FAST BEFORE!" He shouted, speeding around the trees. His wings had already shrunk down so he wouldn't hurt them. In fact they were hardly visible, using his mother's magic to continue flying much like how Discord would.

Wiving inside a tree that looked like a shack, he crashed into a pony inside. His vision blurred as the mare had shouted, mostly in shock, over her surprise guest. He felt himself slipping into peaceful sleep, if it hadn't been for his rapidly beating heart, he'd passed out by now. However, he couldn't move his head, feeling to exhausted at the amount of energy it took to fly just slightly faster than the cyan mare that was chasing him.

As if on cue, the door slammed open.

"THERE YOU ARE!" She shouted, but before she could land a punch on Salas, Zecora stepped in between them both. "Get out of the way! He has it comin!"

"If I may ask Rainbow Dash, to why you want to attack this creature?" Zecora asked calmly, her voice carried rhythm.

Salas saw a green aura of magic surrounding the place, and he sighed in defeat. Taking deep breaths trying to slow his heart rate, he chuckled. "Earth magic...how calming." He gasped for air, his hands on his chest trying to feel his heart slow.

"It can speak?" Zecora asked, sounding usually calm for the events that had just taken place.

"Yeah, it can, that's why it needs face full of my dike hoof!" She reared up her hoof, but Zecora held her hoof in place. "Stop that!" She barked. "He called me a dike!"

"I know not what a dike is, but I see no issue now. It is clear to even you, that he is more than beaten." She gazed at Salas, who was still trying to move himself. "No, you are in my house are you not? You will not hurt, or name one another until you leave. Is that not fair?" She pointed to her door. "And I'll need somepony to come out here to repair my door." Zecora sighed heavily.

"B-but....ugh! Fine..." Rainbow Dash grunted, crossing her forehooves over one another.

Salas, somehow through his total exhaustion, smiled at the cyan mare not with the intent to mock her failure to punch him, but in defeat. "You...w-win.." He said holding out his hand.

"And for your information bud, the LGBT laws were lifted two hundred years ago." Rainbow Dash huffed, however she returned the offer. They shook one another's arms. "I haven't seen anypony fly that fast before, and how did your wings get that big in the first place?"

Salas grinned devilishly. "I can may any part of my body grow, but only one at a time." He made his middle finger grow to the size of Rainbow's legs. "See?" He chuckled as Zecora brought him a glass of a green liquid.

"Drink it if you wish to regain your energy, and if I may ask, how did you know about the magic that surrounds my house?"

Salas shrugged. "I can see magic. Green is earth, red is fire, black is shadow, blue is water, pink is love, white is light, beige is wind, purple is black magic, and gray-" He pointed to himself. "-is balance. I don't understand my powers, I only had two years to actually learn how they worked before I was bound inside of a cave close by." He sniffed the green liquid before drinking it. "I saw pink when Rainbow Dash tried to get Fluttershy to stop tending to me after I was choking on their combined Harmony magic, which is a mix of White and gray- they come in waves that cross over each other." He chuckled. "It's like glaring into a hypnotic picture."

Zecora began to smile. "And to why you look like the god of chaos?" She asked.

"I'm a Vikrin- half dragon, half pony." He explained, pointing to his hind legs. Suddenly his eyes flashed open. "Wait, what's a Zeborian doing in Equestia? You're a long way from home!"

Zecora shook her head. "This is my home, it is where my heart is." She said. "My old home was dying from lack of food, I came out to Equestia looking for a new home much like how the rest of my tribe as done."

Rainbow Dash sighed, looking at Salas. "I still hate you for calling me a dike...but, we need to get back to the library. Twi doesn't like to be kept waiting."

Salas stood up, finding new found energy to move. He gave a quick bow to Zecora. "I'm sorry for intruding on you. It was wrong of me to find shelter in another's home."

Zecora waved her hoof. "All is well my friend, I forgive you and Rainbow Dash. Please, have a good day."

"Will do, thanks again for the energy drink!" He took off with Rainbow Dash leading the way back to town.

Bonus: Explaining Salas Strike -------

Along with a PM telling me happy early birthday which is in 6 days (8/13), Somepony, not going to say who,( but they'll understand) asked me if I could explain "what and who the buck" is Salas Strike ------.

Salas Strike ------ is a Vikrin plain and simple, but it seems as though that smal description just won't do.

Salas is a Pony-Serpentine Dragon Hybrid: As in the First Chapter the fic goes on to explain that his mother was a "goddess" (Got a PM don't know why it wasn't a comment saying he was OP and he/ she left the only dislike as of this moment). His mother was SEEN as a "goddess" as a protector of orphan fillies and colts, and defends the helpless.

A flash back includes a part of the story where Lucky Strike (Salas's father) where he explains that he was attacked (however where he was at the time remains a mystery to be solved later on) by a hoard of Diamond Dogs to be eventually healed by Princess Celestia out of the request of Crystal ------- who was Celestia's student at the time.

His known abilities are the cause of his mother, and his father.

His father's parents were unicorn-pegasus (its all I worked out, and didn't care much about their names, but if requested I'll delve deeper into it). And his mother was a hybrid but showed only to be a Serpentine Dragon her parents being Serpentine-Wyvern (Wyvern- winged dragons)

Having four types of DNA from four different species, Salas truly takes his name "Magic" Strike -------.

His abilites are listed from what was shown.

Hunger Related Regenerative Abilities - The more he eats the more powerful, and quicker his body regenerates EVERY CELL lost in battle.  This however doesn't mean he's "OP". He is effected by age, and can die like any other living thing but if he eats it just means he can continue to live. His diet will be explained later on.

Magic Sight - This idea came from the movie Eragon where the dragon could see things a normal human( in this case, pony) cannot. Adding the touch of the ability to see the types of magic (Dark, fire, water, earth, air, light, shadow, love, hate- so on)

Body Growth - Mr. Fantastic gave me the idea of this odd ability, but I limited it to one body part at a time and can only go as far as his energy reserves will let him. The farther it goes, the more energy draw he'll feel. In Chapter 4 It shows three different situations where his body has shown this.

As for his body he has fur not scales, and has emerald green mane goes from the top of his head to his tail. He doesn't have the blade like Chaotic Ink's Kirin has at the end of her tail, and doesn't have the badass transformation Midnight has.

I really- really - REALLY - REALLY - REALLY hope this sheds some light on you readers. I thought was enough confusion that needed to be remedied.

If you have anymore questions feel free to comment below, and I'll answer them.

Dragons will be Dragons, Part 1

Salas smiled a toothy grin at the tiny drake standing in front of him. The purple dragon was a tenth of his size, but big things came in small packages, and Spike was no exception. There was nothing but dead silence as they stood in front of Rarity and Twilight. It been three hours of their return from Zecora's.

"Go on...blink!" Spike said. "I've stayed up for hours helping Twilight!" The purple dragon looked up to Salas, he refused to blink.

Salas chuckled lightly, still keeping his unblinking eyes on Spike. "Please, I've slept for a thousand years, I don't need to blink."

However outside of the dragons' reality, Rairty and Twilight watched as their eyes had became slightly red from not blinking for more than twelve minutes. Rarity was mostly blushing, but flattery only went so far for a mare of her kind. Spike knew she liked brave knights who'd risk everything to save a damsel in distress.

"How long has it been now?" Rarity asked Twilight, hiding her blush.

"Fifteen minutes- Hey drakes!" Her calls were ignored as the dragons glared deeply in one another's eyes. "Ugh..." She used her spell to raised her voice. "DRAKES!"

"What!? AW BUCK!" They whined in unison. "I win!"

"No I win!" Salas shouted back.

"I win!" Spike said, getting into Salas's face.

"I challenge you!" He pushed the young drake back. "You up for it!?"

"Oh you bet!" Spike ran out the door with Salas. "RAINBOW DASH!" Spike called.

Twilight face hooded. "I don't know how I attract such....attention." Rarity said. "What now?"

Twilight shrugged, flying back onto her couch. "Buck if I know...They'll most likely try to do a Iron Dragon competition." She rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Ugh...this is already a long day..."

"You want me to do what?!" Rainbow Dash asked from her small white fluffy cloud in the clear blue sky.

"We need you and AJ to set up another Iron Pony competition again, but for me and Salas!" Spike hollered back.

"Is this some kind of joke?"

Salas breathed fire towards Rainbow Dash, but it didn't get close to her. "We need to see who is the alpha!" He shouted. "So the winner may place claims on his mates!"

Rainbow Dash began chuckling. "R-really?" She snorted, bursting into a fit of laughter. "I-I'll ask her, but won't make any promises!" The mare took flight, heading west towards the orchard.

"I'm going to win!" Spike said, sticking out his toung.

Salas stuck his fangs out, growling at the tiny dragon. He shook him a little, but it seemed as though there was a fire in his belly that was the color of pink. What could this little drake love to have such a burning desire to win. Something he would find out soon, and figure out who he loved.

Meanwhile, back in Golden Oaks Library, Twilight patiently walked around the table in the center of the library, waiting for Celestia and her sister to show up at her door. She bit the bottom of her lip, thoughts running through her head. How long had it been since anything particularly bad happened in Ponyville.

It'd been quite peaceful in the quaint little town she called home only two years before, enjoying every minute she spent here, was more fulfilling than stepping through Canterlot. The capitol almost smelt like money when nobles walked by with mares or stallions at their beckoning calls.

She snorted in disgust, when Rarity spoke up.

"Maybe this will end quickly." She sighed. "Why are you contacting the princesses anyways Twilight?"

Twilight frowned, looking at her friend. "Spikes' going to lose Rarity. We need Celestia there to make sure all is fair."

"Why don't we just ask AJ?"

"There's no way she could spot a fault as small as a small trick to win." She explained. "Celestia has experience in noticing a lie even if it's ten light years away."

Rarity nodded, rubbing the bottom of her chin. The doorbell went off, and Twilight calmly rushed to the door. After opening it, she saw Celestia smiling at her, Luna however, she looked as though she was ready to screw the world over a few times a dozen.

"I'm glad you could come princess."

"Once I got your letter, I made haste to help with this situation. However, I would like to know how this started."

Twilight pointed to Rarity, Celestia instantly got it. She sighed, looking over to Rarity who just about ready to rip out a big'ol dish of RYANO.

"I see..." She said to herself. "And now they're trying to figure out who's alpha?"

Twilight nodded, rubbing her tempals. "This is so strange. First he makes fun of Rainbow Dash for having a crush on Fluttershy-" Luna forgot about screwing the world, and let out a soft chuckle. "-then they come back as friends. First they started yelling at each other, then after a good two hours, they went into a staring contest." Luna began to hold her bursts of laughter by snickering. Celestia couldn't help but smile while she motioned Twilight to continue with her story. "And then I bucked it up, now they are out there trying to start a Iron Dragon competition to settle it."

Luna started to roll on the ground laughing her flank off. She held her gut while her sister tried to suppress her own laughter.

"It looks as though thou hast made a folly of yourself Twilight!" Luna shouted as she continued to laugh. "Oh, we see that this is a true reason to be awake. A challenge to determine who's alpha!"

"At least Salas is choosing to be peaceful about this." Celestia smiled. "They're both mentally teenagers, horny teens, horny dragons..." This made Rarity shutter, hiding behind her tail. "We only hope Spike wins this."

Rarity nodded. "I hope..." She began to bite her hoof.

Everypony stopped talking as Rainbow Dash began flying through town, shouting something over and over.

"Come one, come all! A dragon vs dragon Iron Pony competition between Ponyville's own Spike, and Salas! A challenge to see who is the best of Equestria!"

"Oh my..." Celestia said. "It seems as though we arrived just in time." Luna couldn't help but nod as she chuckled.

Dragons will be Dragons, Part 2

Ponies crowded around on stands, completely filling in every seat that was possible. Bits floated around as ponies placed, and accepted bets on the winner. This wasn't exactly helping the young drake, Spike felt like his stomach was doing flips just to make him quit. He looked around for his pony friends in the stands, luckily his friends had their own stands sharing it with...Celestia and Luna?

Salas looked down, a playful smile across his face. He knelt down, holding out his hand to Spike.

"Good luck, I don't know these ponies as well as you do...Heck! I don't know them at all, but may the best dragon win."

Spike rolled his eyes with a huff. "Yeah, whatever..."

"You guys ready?" Rainbow Dash asked flying over to them. Salas nodded along with Spike. She clapped her hooves together. "Great, we'll explain the events when it starts. Might be a few minutes." She blasted off back to the stands where Pinkie Pie was getting help setting up her mic by the town's local DJ.

Spike gnawed on his claws, fearing that this was a bad idea. He looked up at Salas who was scanning the crowd. His emerald eyes wide with a smile across his face. He wondered what he was thinking about.

So-much-greed... Salas thought, taking in the smell of gold. I wonder why Celestia and Luna are here. His eyes locked onto the celestial princesses, Celestia was clearly looking at him. Frowning he stuck his middle finger at her. Celestia's eyes narrowed with hate, then she looked away, her gaze resting somewhere else.

I need to beat this guy, older or not, he won't lay a finger on her. Spike felt his fire burning bright again, and his stomach stopped moving with his new found bravery returning to save Rarity again from a new enemy, Salas. Salas, unlike Spike, had pony ears, and as such, a loud sharp sound came from Pinkie Pie turning the mic on causing Salas to wince in pain. With his ears touching his head, Pinkie began to speak.

"Hello Everypony, and welcome to the Iron Dragon competition! Today is special, we have Spike, weighing one hundred pounds of adorable awesomeness, his opponent from a thousand year ago, weighing in at two tons, Salas Strike!" The last part of Pinkie's introduction left the crowd to boo him. "The winner becomes the alpha!"

Apple Jack stepped up to them both, smiling. "Ight now, Ah want a fair game. There's going to be five challenges. The first to three is the winner. The first challenge is a challenge that tests your flame." She pointed her hoof towards two long lines of candles. For this challenge you'll need tah light them candles. The one with the most candles is the winner."

Spike frowned slightly, but pumped his fist, raising his own moral. I can do this! He thought stepping up to the first challenge with his opponent.

They stood there, waiting for the bell to start. As they waited, thoughts of who Spike loved had finally shown. Salas saw him staring up at a white unicorn sitting next to Celestia. He only knew the mare to be Rarity, the element of generosity. The pink fire burning around Spike began to grow.

Ding!

Salas went first, inhaling deeply, he clicked his jaw, however something felt off. He exhaled violet fire, but it wasn't more than ten candles. He stuck his finger into his mouth, scraping his molars with his index finger, he pulled it out sighing heavily.

"Damn...no metal."

Spike snickered. "Ah Hahahahahhaha!" He wiped a tear from his eye. He inhaled, taking his turn exhaling, lighting twenty of his candles with a single belch. "Looks like that one for me, zero for you!"

Salas rolled his eyes, taking the metal bar that held up the sign for the first challenge, he began to munch on it. "Oh, ewww, iron...with a hint of rust." He groaned. He clicked his jaw again, smiling he saw bright yellow sparks. "I guess you win, but..." He breathed out a column of fire, lighting all the candles. "I'm better."

"That's One point for Spike, making that two more wins for him to win the competition!" Pinkie Pie shouted with joy over the mic. The crowd that gathered to watch joined in cheering for Spike.

Salas saw his flame grow, and began to feel the fire's magic. He frowned, looking to Apple Jack.

"What is the next challenge?" He asked. "So I may better prepare myself. I believe I had no chance to win. I hadn't eaten in a week after a thousand years."

Apple Jack nodded. "Ight, next round will start in a few minutes. You'll need to answer some questions to see who's smarter."

Salas frowned. "I see..." He walked over to a chair, sitting down, continuing to take large bites of the rusted metal.

Spike, curious to why he was eating while they waited. Slowly approaching Salas, the dragon cleared his throat.

"Um...so, why couldn't you breath fire before you ate...that?" He asked.

"Unlike you, my fire isn't natural due to being half pony. I need to eat metal to act as a starter." He explained. "I've got two sets of lungs. One set I use to breath, the other stores gasses from my digestion." He breathed out a puff of violet smoke. Once Spike saw it, Salas clicked his jaw, igniting the gas. "See?"

"Oh, so...I guess it wasn't quite...fair for you huh?"

"No, but I made the mistake of not eating before the challenge." He stood up as they were called over. "Tell me, why do you love that pony so much?" He asked. "There are plenty of other mares in town, why just her in your hoard?"

Spike thought about it for a moment. "She's the only one who's helped me work past my greed as a dragon. I'll give my life to protect her."

"So it is a matter of return?" Salas sat down in front of Twilight with Spike.

He nodded. "Yeah, but more than that."

"Are you two ready?" Twilight asked. "This will be a five question quiz. The most to get right, wins." She read a card, and looked back at them, mostly at Spike. "First question, how long can a earth pony stand on their back legs?"

"Ten minutes without training, two hours with." Spike smiled.

"Right, next question- What metal can be a liquid in its purist form?"

"Gold..." Salas sighed. "However because quartz forms around gold, it cannot become a liquid."

"R-right..." Twilight flipped to the next card. "Next question- what gem can cut through everything and cannot break, but if cut where it will break?"

"A diamond!" Salas smiled. "I've only had one, but man...it was goooooood."

"C-correct again, Spike you need to answer this question to stay in this." She said, worry in her voice. "Um...What elements did princess Luna wield when Discord was defeated one thousand years ago?"

"Laughter, honesty, and generosity!" Spike said pumping his fist.

Twilight shook her head, looking to Salas. He shrugged, "I wasn't born...he had better chances of knowing."

"The answer was Laughter, Generosity, and Kindness." Luna spoke from the stands.

"Next question- What flower can magically effect any creature that come in contact with it?"

"Pfttt....that's easy it's-"

"The answer is Poison Joke, dad got it when my egg rolled into the first few flowers that were blooming there." He chuckled. "His wings went all floppy for two weeks before the magic wore off."

"Right, Salas wins this round."

"The score is now 1-1! A tie! There's still three more challenges left!"

Twilight approached Celestia back in the stands. She sighed, lowering her head.

"Anything princess?"

Celestia shook her head, looking at Salas speaking with Spike. "Not a lie yet..." She replied. "He's as honest as Apple Jack."

Twilight rubbed the bridge of her nose. "The whole egg thing doesn't sound right."

"He was an egg at one point Twilight, I am using every spell I can to find any deceit, go now, the next match is about to start."

Dragons will be Dragons, Final Part

Long Ago...Hatching Day...5 years before Luna's Banishment

Lucky stared into his new born son's eyes with a mixture of joy, and horror. He sat near the fire trying to keep warm, a blizzard outside howled shaking the wooden shutters.

"A bad time for you to hatch little guy." Lucky chuckled. "There's a nasty blizzard making a mess of our small city. Why did you hatch now?" The fire began to die. He held Salas on his back, using his wings to keep him on, as he walked to throw a log in the fire. He rolled it in when the door opened.

Turning his head a flurry of pure white snow flew in. A pink aura guarded a unicorn stepping in. "Crystal Wings! Hurry! He hatched!"

The unicorn's ears shot up, and Crystal teleported to see. Gasping she sat down, and covered her mouth. Gazing on the creature she thought was only in her dream scape. She quickly picked him up, and held him close, crying softly.

"Oh...He's real..." She sobbed softly, rubbing her hoof in the short green stripe down the center of its body on his back. "It's green too...oh Luna you were right...he's real...so real....thank you!"

Lucky looked up at Crystal, his eyes looking deep in the eyes of his foalhood friend. After twenty long years being friends. Both became the best guards, fought through Somber's shade army, and married becoming even closer.

However with Crystal's magic nearing the minimum power to ascend. Celestia told her she couldn't bare a child because her magic power burned the eggs when they were in heat. So she had to tell Lucky a lie, saying she joined a guild preventing her to have a child under the guild law. She was part of the Sentinels of the Equestrian Royal Division the first of their kind.

And it became as such by Celestia's order to ensure the safety of Equestria. They made a vow if either of the princesses fell to darkness, they would always choose the light, and defend even if they must follow Luna into battle against Celestia.

But now, she was happy, happier than ever before, she had something to love with Lucky. Something they could care about, looking down at Salas Strike Wings. His small pony like hooves for his back legs. Two tiny arms followed with two hands. He was really fuzzy, and had two pony ears with a softer looking dragon face. It had two small green eyes that slowly turned blue as it whimpered softly.

"My little Vikrin...my dreams have come true, but I fear for you..."

Salas tripped over, falling into the small lake of water. He scrambled to reach the surface, feeling a wave of energy hit his chest, causing him to fall back into the water.

"Fuck!" He shouted, slapping the water. He was breathing deeply, trying regain his lost breath. "What was that?"

Spike jumped into the water, and started to swim to the shore. "Woo..." He looked back at the score board seeing 2-2.

"There's one match left, and now for the tie breaker!" Pinkie Pie spoke over the crowd. "The last round will be settled by a challenge Princess Celestia decides."

Celestia rubbed her chin with her hoof, thinking deeply. It was even, what challenge could settle this? She stood, walking down towards the challengers with a blank expression on her face. She looked at Spike, the dragon had a look of a winner, on the other hoof, Salas stood looking at her in return.

"Princess..." He said nodding his head.

"Right, I've made up my mind." She said stepping back to her seat in the stands. "They will have a staring contest." Twilight facehoofed herself with a long groan. "Is there a problem Twilight?"

"N-no princess, we might be here for a while." She replied.

The bell rung, and almost instantly they had their eyes locked. Salas now had the chance to see what truly was burning his fire to win. Spike had memories, some her couldn't see, but he saw the problems they faced. A growing friendship, turning a normal one to that of love. He loved all the ponies he was around.

After six minutes, Salas had started to feel his stomach rumble. He was getting hungry, and iron does nothing to help him. It melted quickly, and didn't sit right. The flame in Spike's heart was starting to burn out. What was causing this?

"You are a worthy foe Spike the pure breed." He said, keeping his eyes on him. "You managed to stay in to the last round, and that shocked me." Salas chuckled, rubbing his stomach. "Keep that passion burning."

Salas smiled as the dragon, blinking, ending the match at the eight minute mark. "I forfeit the match!" He called, looking down at Spike who was being lifted up in celebration. "Go! Talk to her."

Salas opened his wings, and flew away. Spike watched him fly away. He hadn't known what to say now that he won.

Celestia approached Spike with a smile on her face. "Congratulations Spike, you won." She placed a metal around his neck. "I however, must go find Salas." She nodded to Luna, and both flew after him.

Salas landed in the cave with the crystal tree he slept next to. His tail dragged behind him, leaving a line in the dirt. Sighing he fell to his side, breathing heavily. His heart pulsed heavily, feeling wiped out. He heard the sounds of two pegasi landing just outside.

"Come in!" He groaned. "There's nothing I can do."

"Are you alright Salas?" Celestia asked. "Why'd you forfeit?"

Salas rubbed his stomach. "I hate iron...good starter, but tastes like shit." He slightly threw up glowing red liquid iron. Salas groaned louder, rubbing his stomach, he looked at the princesses. "I know, shocking right? Iron is poison, much like lead and silver."

Celestia drew closer. "Is that why you quit, because you are ill?"

"Weak..." He corrected her. "I'm so weak, I'm so stupid for challenging that purple warrior."

"What battle was he fighting?" Luna ask, getting the Vikrin's meaning.

"Love...he's trying to win Rarity's heart. Winning ensured this for him. I saw his pink flame, it was burning me it had no where else to go. Love burns hotter than hate, and he wanted to win. So...uuuugggghhhh!" He puked up more liquid iron. "I...let him win."

"When did you decide this?"

"When...I ate the iron poll." He coughed a few times, and his wings shrunk down. "I...don't know if I'll get better....iron...is a heavy metal...sticks around longer."

Luna shook her head, stomping her hoof down. "We will not stand idily by to see thou ill." Her horn glowed, but fizzled out.

"Can't use magic on me princess." He chuckled. "Thanks though, for trying..."

"There must be some way to heal you." Luna spoke louder.

"My mom knew how to make me feel better." He replied. "Said it came to her in a dream."

Luna's ears shot up. "I know!" She teleported a large rock covered in emeralds. "Tis from below!" She broke it apart, magicking a shard of emerald to him.

Salas placed the rock in his mouth, chewing it slowly. "Thank you princess."

"Sister, inform the elements we have Salas. We will help him gain his strength back." Luna stepped closer. "We to truly speak to him in private."

Celestia nodded with a smile. "I understand. It is clear you had your own mission back then, and must be a secret to me." Her horn began to glow. "I too keep secrets you know I'm hiding." With a pop sound Celestia vanished in brilliant yellow white.

Luna turned back, giving him another emerald. "I'm glad had that vision." She finally said. "Your magic seems to be returning."

Salas raised a brow. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"Oh, then...you forget soon after..." Luna frowned with her ears folded back. She sighed handing a piece of emerald. "You...step mother...She liked our nights, much like our sister's day. Ponies like her were rare a thousand years ago, back before we were Nightmare Moon. We were, best friends. I shared a vision with her, of your birth. She cried finding out who you were, but she wasn't

...sad, she was overjoyed!" She smiled at him, placing another shard in his hand. There were a few minutes that passed by in silence while she fed him. "She was always so sad, because of her power...she tried to ascend, but it burned away her ovaries she burned out, like Star Swirl. Neither of them could mate."

Salas sighed, laying on his back, next to a sheet of metal. "Why are these ponies so different?" He asked. "They changed, even you."

"It appears you have not." She added. "You act like a child, but you are very intelligent."

"Because my mom tought me." He laughed. "Her smile made my day, and when I did so well, I was rewarded with special gems."

Luna smiled. "You seem better now, can you fly back?"

Salas slowly stood up, his legs slightly shook, and his wings grew. "I think so, might need help." He rested his hand on Luna's back, limping slowly out the cave.

"Shall we?"

"Thanks..."

Mystery of the Hateful Heart

Long ago...4 years before Nightmare Moon...

"Roar!" Salas flew into Lucky, laughing as he tackled her father onto thud. "Got you dad!"

Lucky laughed as he held Salas into the air. "How are bud?" He sat up, holding his son in his hooves.

"I'm volkey-er..O-k-ay, I'm okay!"

"I was worried you couldn't learn at first, but your getting so much better!" Lucky rubbed his stomach. "Are you okay now? Does it hurt?"

"Not anymore...dad, it sorta tickles now." Salas flew backwards landing on his back legs and hands in the air. "My fire is voxin!"

"Violet? Really?" He asked, his left ear fell back. "What a strange color..."

"Violet! It sunise meh tra!"

"No, Salas, it is really cool dude." Lucky chuckled. "Today I need to fly to the castle to see princess Celestia. She would like to see you there someday." He rubbed his chin. "Would like to see her?"

Salas shook his head slowly. "I hurt around her...I see...." He tried hiding behind his tail. "Mihign soetol..."

"Okay, I'll tell her you said not yet." He frowned a little. "She'll be sadder if you don't come though."

"Noooogn! I want to stay home!" Salas flew into the air, flapping his tiny wings like a humming bird.

Lucky sighed in defeat, waving his hoof before flying off. He rubbed his eyes, and sniffed. He hasn't known why, but Salas was afraid of Celestia. He told him the story of his near death experience, and how Celestia help him survive his injuries. To no avail, Salas continued to hate, and fear her.

Salas, however at his young age he knew Celestia was a walking nuclear bomb's worth of energy wipping like failing snakes. Her eyes could burn metal, melting into air. Standing this far from her, which was six miles, her energy was like that from this far to him. He could sense magic in a much larger scale, and was extremely sensitive to it. No way in Tartarus he was getting near he would get any closer than he had to. He slept in the back portion of his bedroom closet to get away. He was drowning under her power.

[hh

However, now Salas has gained the ability to block his magic senses, and only feels what is right by how hot they are. He like being cold, it allowed him to stay cool with his high body temperature.

He woke up once again in his cave of warm light over a cold night. It was nearing fall soon, it had been rather nice to walk, and its been over a month since he woke up. Already Spike had confessed his love to Rarity, she said they could go eat when she was free.

That was the day Spike had grew his new stubby little wings. He completed his dream, and earned his wings. He got them by getting Rarity to have dinner with him, a not so simple task, but it worked out fine. Spike came to Salas teaching him a few things like reading, and the two became best friends, almost...brothers.

Standing up, he looked around, something smelt like fresh meat. He smiled, his eyes falling back in ecstasy. He rushed out looking about furiously. Standing on top of the cliff was Celestia motioned him to follow her. He nodded, his wings opening wide before he used them to go upwards.

When he landed on the top, he was caught by suprise to see a pink alicorn. Oh boy, he could feel harm in his heart, staring into the kind smile of a lovely pink alicorn. Her magic was pink and swirled with a rosey color. Passionate love... He thought falling on his knees, he nearly passed out from the love just from her glaze, however Celestia had panned it was going to happen after remembering a conversation she had with Salas.

1 Week 4 Days ago..

Celestia cleared her throat, catching Salas's attention. "Salas, if you could explain your, fear, and why you acted like that day when you saw me?" She asked. "Could, please explain why?"

Salas sighed. "When I was little, I couldn't control how I sensed magic-" Celestia gasped. "-I was being burned, by your magic. I felt like I was standing next to your beautiful sun." He waved his arm towards the sun watching Celestia blush. "I wanted to die...it hurt to see you, and so....I thought....I thought when I saw you there, I hadn't gained my powers back yet. I still feel you, but I only just learned how to handle your magic. Your sister's magic was easy to replicate at a much colder magic."

Celestia took her hoof away from her mouth, exhaling deeply. "If I had known, I would've helped you over come." She looked at him, right through his eyes to his very soul. "And how do you feel now?"

"Like a warm hug!" He said in a county tone, similar to Apple Jack's accent. He giggled with Celestia.

"Also my sister, and my student??" She hid her smile, looking away.

"Luna...hmmmm....Like a winter night...cool....crisp...Twilight on the other hoof-" He turned about-face looking away from Celestia. "She's on my hit list, until she has repaid her family dept of two lives and a childhood."

"I suppose there is nothing I can do to say you can hate her, but I will not hear of you hurting her." She huffed. "I also think that dept can't easily repaid."

"Damn straight!" Salas slammed his fist. "I'm still mad at you and Luna not finding me in time. I spent two weeks!-" He paused hid sentence to grunt, punching a hole through the marble wall. "In a cell, and a thousand years in a BUCKING CAVE!!" His voice roared angerly, shaking the tower as of it were a earthquake. He turned around nodding, waving his hands to the side. "So yeah, that's me being mad at you and your sister...imagine Twilight..." He rolled his eyes with a evil chuckle.

Salas caught the meat, and began to devour it like a monster. Cadence, continued to smile like a angle, and Salas's eye grew wide.

"Oh buck!" He shouted throwing his breakfast to the side. "I did it again....didn't I?" He facepalmed.

"Celestia you were right, he has it." Cadence said. "Excuse me, " She bowed to him. "I'm Princess Cadence, and you have a thing for spreading love!" She giggled. "Oh not only did you get two completely opposite mares, MARES to fall in love as you have, and you got Spike his wings..." She hugged him, Salas felt a bit of his life snap away from the assault of a 'hug'. His back popped sixteen times in a instance, and nearly had a orgasm of pleasure from his joints in his back. However it still hurt like a bitch.

One she let go he chuckled, feeling his heart race. "Oh, um...my name...my name is....Salas, Salas Strike Wings..." He said softly. "And uh...yeah, it just happened. I felt like I had to help him get her. His love was strong for her, so strong he got in a tie with me! Fluttershy and RD, that just happened..."

Cadence nodded. "As princess of love, you look like a bridge between waring  sides. YOU are the keystone, without you this She turned a 360° looking around lowly. "None of this love has happened. Because you're impossible, impossible things happen!" She giggled. "Except for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash....that was long over due..." Looked at him longer, a frown slowly turned her smile down across her beautiful face. "Oh...."

Salas turned away, grabbing the meat. "I know, and nothing will change." He flew back down in the cave with a thud.

Cadence sat down, shaking her head slowly. "What is wrong Cadence?"

"His mind is clouded by hate. He thinks of his life as a living Tartarus, and he wants to stop burning." She sat down with her ears laid back on her head.

"Out of one look you got that from him?" Celestia joked.

"I can see love, and there the lack of it." She looked down the cliff into the glowing cave. Blinking she looked away. "Why does he sleep in that cave? He has a much safer place in Twilight's castle, or a guest room in your castle."

Celestia shrugged. "I'm not sure really, it's the first place he goes to when the sun sets." She replied looking away from Cadence. "I could try talking to him, but...he's already mad."

She nodded, stepping up to Celestia. "Let's get going aunty..."

"Please everypony!" Twilight yelled stomping her hoof on the chair. Her friends and Spike all sat around a room in a big circle. "Now, Celestia says we need to help him adapt to our life." She looked at Rainbow Dash. "He's already made it clear he is much like how Luna is. Rules were different a thousand years ago, he still thought mares couldn't love mares. Not to mention his occasional rant..."

Rarity nodded. "Yes the last one....was quite...extreme." She tried putting the right words in place. Shivering she remembered his last rant which was only a few days ago. "Wouldn't you say, he's much like Discord too?

"You called?" Chimed the disembodied voice of Discord. He snapped, flashing into existence in the center of the room. "Who's like me?"

"Oh, there's this new...creature."

Discord smiled, locking his hands to together. "The Vikrin? I've heard Celestia talk about him, what is he like?"

"His brain is like you!" Pinkie laughed. "All loko in da coco!"

The God drew closer to Twilight. "And pray tell me about his function." Discord said slyly.

"He insists of balance, it's all I know. A good deed can't go unrewarded, and same for bad deeds." Her ears dropped behind her head. "He even hates me for why my ancestor did to him and his parents."

He backed away, looking around the room. "Is this...true?"

"Hazel Sparkle, she was going to be Celestia's first student, but Salas's stepmother was first." Twilight further explained. "I haven't seen a grudge like that since Tirek."

Discord nodded, stroking his chin while in deep thought. "And, where does he stay?" He asked.

"In the cave near the Tree of Harmony." Twilight replied.

"I'll take my leave then. Perhaps, I could be of some service." Discord walked around. "I want to help him, if is like me, then he'll listen to me, or at least hear me." He snapped his fingers, vanishing in the blink of an eye.

"Now, while Discord is handling Salas, we should move onto our last topic." Twilight sat forward. "Who's going to go first?"

2 years before Luna's Banishment

Zooming around the small house, Salas giggled happily as he was running from his father. Taking a sharp left, he swerved, bumping into aanwall that wasn't there before.

The was a light giggle as he floated into the air, on to his mother's back. "Salas, you need to be more careful." She nuzzeled him. "Are you hurt?"

Salas shook his head with a kind smile. "Nope! I'm okay!" He rubbed his nose. "Just a bump!"

"Looks like you found my escapee!" Lucky walked through chuckling. "You need a bath Salas."

"You do sorta smell buddy!" Crystal playfully waved her hoof. She wasn't smelling anything at all.

"No I don't!" His eyes turn red. "I smell fine! I don't like bath time! Water burns!"

Crystal rested Salas right in front of her. Kneeling, she smiled kindly at him. "Lava burns sweetie, water cools."

"R-really?" He asked. "Water....is cold?

Crystal nodded slowly. "After your bath, you need to get back to your studies Salas." She stood up, kissing Lucky passionately. "See you when I return from my visit."

"Miss you hun..." Lucky said in a low voice. "I really will."

"I know, but distance makes the bond grow stronger." She opened the front door. "I love you Salas-"

Salas shot up takeing a sharp inhale. His eyes wide, scanning the cave. He sat in silence for a few moments, feeling the faint magic Twilight had. She was in her castle, living the life she doesn't deserve.

"What was that..." He rubbed his head. "Mom...dad...?" Standing Salas saw two projections from the tree. Two ponies stood, smiling at him. "M-mom? Dad?" His eyes turned sky blue.

"Salas...are you okay?" The unicorn asked.

"You don't look to happy to us." The projection of Lucky said.

Salas began to see the world twist around the two projections. He looked away. "Fucking a...he said. Way to trick me like that Celestia!"

"I'm not that solar bitch!" Discord said walking into existence.

"And who are you?"

"Discord."

"Oh, Entropy!" Salas chuckled. "Aren't you stoned?"

Discord shrugged. "I wish and was, but the point is why are you not covered in chains."

Salas's hand turned into a fist. "You're making a bad first impression..." He said through his teeth, and eyes turning red.

Discord gasped, placing his hands to his face. "Oh right!" He chuckled flipping around closer to Salas. "I am aren't I? Hhhmmmmmmm....Ah! Would you like a cupcake?"

"A-a what?" Salas asked, backing away. "What buck is that...?"

Discord chuckled. "Oh my only the best mini cake that only few can eat in one bite!" Discord threw one into his mouth, smiling. "I helped Pinkie Pie make these!"

Salas chuckled. "You love one of them, don't you?" He asked, shrugging with a sigh. "Alright, I'll help you too. So which one?"

Discord blushed. "W-well, that's not the point." He faked a smile. "You need to try one!"

"So why are you here?"

Discord gave Salas a cupcake. "I want to be the first villain you see turned good!" He raised his hands into the air, and a fake halo behind his toothy grin. "I am Discord the Spirit of Chaos and all things Disharmony-here's my card:"

Hey! it's me (the author!)breaking the forth wall, saying this is not a real phone number, cause....Well...I like my life without a six inch butthole! For now enjoy!

"You're completely mad!" Salas laughed, shaking his head low. "A-alright...hehe...So, eh...what exactly does this mean?"

"You're being reformed!" Discord made fireworks appear out of thin air."If they can reform me, than they can reform you!"

Salas snorted violet smoke, extending his wings. "I do not need to be reformed!" His jaw cracked, sending aflame. "I want vengeance!"

Discord whipped the fire away with a whip, and glared at Salas with a blank expression. "I don't wish to be on bad terms of one of my own, but for your sake I shall forgive you."

"I'm nothing like you!" He hissed. "You are not my father!"

Discord sighed dropping his arms. "You see this?!" He asked, dawning a golden necklace with the word "D.I.S.C.O.R.D" was written across his chest. "I look like a mothah-bucking-animal-orgy gone plane wrong!!"

Salas fell backwards laughing his hysterically. Sounds of ponies who listened were heard up the cliff. "Oh shit!" He laughed. "That's great! Seriously dude you are bucking insane!"

Discord placed his finger on his lip, and his paw on his side. "Do-I-look-like-a-sane-creature-to-you-stupid?"

An uproar caused part of the cliff to crash, Salas didn't care, he couldn't breath. Discord saw Celestia 'dying' as well, her laughs even sounded angelic. Next to her was Luna, who was trying her hardest not to smile, her whole face was red. Even the mane six, Fluttershy no doubt couldn't do anything but laugh her flank off.

"Oh maker of makes!" Celestia cried. "Dammit! My stomach hurts!"

Discord & Twilight

Salas POV

I slowly rose from my rocky bed, a pain in my neck causing me to wake from my peaceful slumber. The tree gave off a light glow as soft as the hypnotic hum it buzzed. My wings felt cramp inside my back. With a loose pop sound, my back opened up to allow my wings to fall out.

I grunted as it closed shut, wincing in pain, I popped my back a few time. I was over come with the feeling of relief, throwing myself into a partial orgasm. After I shook my body of any leaves I may have rolled over, I stepped outside the cave, just on the edge of the tree's light.

There standing on the edge I saw dozens of monsters glare at me with the intent to kill and eat me. I laughed to myself, turning away back into the cave. A heard something growl from behind, and a monster brushed a gem close to me.

Picking it up, I felt a strange power radiate off of it. I went to take a bite out of it, but it didn't even crack, if anything it could've cracked my teeth.

"Huh..." I shrugged, throwing the green gem towards the tree. It stopped mid-flight, and the tree began to hum louder. I slapped my ears to my head as the sound grew louder. I soon began to feel the power of the tree increase, and after I began to feel this power, it stopped. "What the-"

"Oh! Great!" A voice said. A picture of a dragon head began to take shape from the gem I threw. "Salas! Are you there?!"

I nodded. "Yeah, exactly who are you?"

The floating head sighed, staring up at me. "I'm your mother!"

My jaw touched the floor. "Maa..." I sat down, my tail covering my lap. "U-um...uh...."

"Take you time...I've got enough." She laughed. "Should I start?" I nodded. "Okay...Salas, I know this might not be the best time...frankly...I feel awful not seeing you. When I...found out you were banished-"

"Bound..." I corrected her. "I was bound in a cave."

She gasped. "Oh my! So, I guess your father is dead...a shame...he was a kind pony."

I nodded. "He treated me well."

"Like I told him to." She smiled through the green head. "I suppose you're wondering how I'm talking to you. I'm using the last holy emerald to speak with you. You can see me, but...I can't see you. I just want to say, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being there with you...I've been busy, Piena is in a civil war, and I'm taking care of a few dozen homeless fillies."

"So why contact me now?" I asked.

"I had to wait, make sure you were alive, Celestia told me." She explained. "Once I can, I will come to see you. I know you aren't normal my child, but you must know this. Those ponies, they're different from when you were little. When they see one of their own hurt, they'll form a army that nothing can stop. Make friends, learn to lov-"

"I refuse to love them!" I interrupted, I had enough. "You come out of the blue, and tell me I should love them. They put me in a cave when I was only six! I am forced to sleep for a thousand years, waking up to my parents dead. Now, you have the gaul to-"

"ENOUGH!" She screamed at me. "I know what it is like to be hated, but I learned they were only afraid of what I would do to them. Then when I saved their foals, I was praised for my generous deed. I had spared their children, and they loved me."

I huffed. "Do you have anything else to say?" I asked.

"N-no...Call me through this gem when you want to listen to me Salas. My name is Calberanna, just say my name into the crystal, and we can talk. Good bye Salas." The gem shrunk down back to a arrow head like shape.

I picked it up, sighing. "Maybe I was hard on her...." I walked over to my bedrock, circling a few times before closing my eyes

3rd POV

Discord landed on top of the cliff. There he looked down upon the strangest creature he's seen in a thousand years, well..aside from himself. He pondered for a moment, remaining invisible by bending reality around himself, creating a parallel pocket world to view all of Equis.

He moved closer, the creature shook, coughing. It's wings flapped violently, kicking up the dust. Discord coughed a bit, blowing the dust away, he saw it ran into the cave. Damn... He thought, I won't be able to use my full power there. Snorting, he uncloaked running inside after it.

Upon entering the cave Salas saw the strangest creature he's ever seen in his life, stranger than himself.

"W-who ar-re you!?" Salas asked shaking, his body quivered. "S-stay b-back....I...Let me at leat.....adjust!" His eyes flashed a multitude of colors, swirling around two black dots.  Salas curled up into a ball. "AGH!" He screamed, fire spouting from his mouth. "G-GO! I can't take it....uuunnnnngggghhh!" There was a snap! Discord was pulled from the cave, and a blinding light pushed him away.

Discord flew into the cliff face so hard, it caused a small rock slide.

He forced his eyes open to see Luna shouting in his face. He felt the force of her voice, but couldn't hear. However soon his hearing began to return, Luna was still shouting,

"....YOU ....BETTER!  ......DARE NOT .....HIM!.....DIED! Discord thought if he had killed it with just his power alone. And what of the snap? "LUCKY.......ALIVE! YOU COULD'VE KILLED HIM!" Luna shouted at the god. She looked into the cave, tears running down her eyes. "Sis-ter! Is he okay?!" Her voice cracked.

"YES!" Celestia's voice echoed out of the cave. Discord sighed in relief, thanking what ever that he wasn't going to be in a stone prison for another thousand years or more.

Luna gasped in relief, sitting down breathing as though she was holding her breath the entire time. "Thank the wills...oh..." She looked at Discord. "We do not blame you for hurting him Discord...for it was our fault for not telling of his...condition...yes that."

Over head Twilight flew over them, looking around for a safe place to land. She saw Luna talking to Discord, and landed, panting heavily. She gave a quick bow before speaking.

"Princess Luna! Did you get here in time?!" She asked.

"Apparently so Twilight." Luna nodded. "Our sister had pushed Discord out before anymore physical damage was done." She looked at Discord, then back to Twilight. "We thank you for warning us of Discord's intentions."

Discord cleared his throat. "Can I please have some clarity on this subject of Salas?" Discord stood up, slightly dazed. "And what is this 'condition ' he has?"

Luna sighed. "He doesn't have magic tolerance. Salas can sense magic unlike any other creature we've come across. His ability stretches to Canterlot, however he is overly sensitive to magic. He is burned by Tia, put in ice by me, fallen for Cadence...possibly driven mad by you."

"Oh my...sounds painful." Discord said with a slight grin. "At least he's alive."

Twilight rolled her eyes. "You should've stayed long enough for me to explain this." She huffed. "You nearly killed him!"

Luna gasped, running to her sister who was exiting the cave. "Is he fine?" She asked.

Celestia nodded giving off a sigh. "He is, but he's still shaking, possibly from shock. Twilight stay here and watch him while we go get somepony to fix his chest."

"What happened to his chest?!" Twilight asked.

Celestia looked to Discord. "I'm actually frightened for his life if he is to be close to Discord." She rubbed her eye. "Never again will he be crushed by power like that again....not until he gains enough strength. He has three broken ribs, and his right femur is broken."

Luna covered her mouth, gasping, trying to hold her tears back. "I hope he can recover well."

Celestia looked to Discord. "This is not your fault Discord, but let this be a warning. Until further notice you are not to approach him." Discord sighed with a nod, while she looked to her younger sister. "Lulu, we must go now and retrieve a medic for Salas."

"Get Fluttershy!" Twilight offered. "Oh and Spike!"

"If we may ask why?"

"They know best! Fluttershy is a animal expert, and Spike is a dragon!"

"Very logical Twilight, Luna, go see Fluttershy, I shall go to Rarity's to get Spike." Celestia ordered. "Discord...go to the castle."

"Oh am I being grounded?" Discord teleported into the ground with only his neck sticking out.

"Just...go." She facehoofed.

Discord bowed before leaving with a disembodied chortle. Celesita and Luna flew their separate ways. Twilight turned, looking into the slightly glowing cave. The sun was just barely overhead, and Twilight hadn't slept in quite sometime. She spent all night talking with her friends, there was a great chance that they were all still asleep, even Pinkie had stayed until four in the morning to talk.

She stepped forward, hearing the echos of Salas's quivering. Twilight entered the cave, bits of her own memory from a few months  ago of her and her friends beating Tirek. She saw Salas laying on a rock, trying to breath, only able to violently shake, twitching like a madpony.

"S-Salas, c-can you sp-speak?" Twilight sqeaked when he breathed fire in his direction. His right arm covering his chest. "Are you...alright?"

"D-does...it...look like it!?" He stuttered.

Twilight lowered her head. "I know this isn't the best time...but why do you hate me? I only want to help you, and be friends."

Salas glared at her, then his face relaxed, well it looked like it did, but he was still shaking a little. "I-I hate...Sparkles...evil...little...b-bitches..."

Twilight stomped her hoof on the ground. "Why though?! Is it because what Hazel did?! I know what happened! Twilight told me she sent her to collect you, and suddenly your whole family vanished!"

He grunted something under his breath before shaking a few more times. "Y-you I don't hate...it is...your family..." He relaxed finally, though he coughed a few times. His eyes closed as he struggled to breath slowly.

Twilight looked saddened. "If this means anything...I'm really sorry for what happened to you." She looked at him with a stern face. "But please s-"

"Shut it....I don't want your sorry!" Salas breathed roughly. "I tried being nice...I was nice...was...until she came...I want her sorry." He spat on the ground what looked like fire close to Twilight. "Not your sorry."

"I-I see..." Twilight sighed sadly. "Then that is not good..why do you want her's so bad?"

"She d-did it!" He shouted, then proceeded to violently cough. Tiny splatters of green blood dribbled out of his mouth. "Leave me...now..."

"I was told to watch you!" Twilight shook her head. "I won't!"

"Then shut up!" He sighed. "I want to rest without you trying to make this better. It'll be better when I get what I want." He took a deep breath, before letting out as he drifted into a light sleep. The pain keeping him from fully diving into the ocean of silence.

Fluttershy Helps

Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and the elements of Harmony all sat in a circle right outside of the cave while Fluttershy and Spike worked hard to help Salas.

Twilight was quiet, too quiet. She sat away from everypony, and Celestia had noticed she was incredibly deep in thought. So deep it would've been useless trying to pull her back from whatever train of thought she was on. The lavender alicorn looked down at the ground, her wings drooped to her sides.

"She's been quiet you know?" Rarity said quietly. "It's strange to see her like this."

Rainbow Dash nodded in agreement. "Yeah...I hate to see the egghead like that." Rainbow Dash landed, taking in a few deep breaths. "Say Princess Celestia, what's up between them? You know, Salas and Twi?"

Celestia nodded. "I suppose I should catch you up. Salas Strike Wings, he is half pony, half dragon." There were a few gasps. "A long time ago, two days after Luna was banished, I ordered a unicorn called Hazel Sparkle. She and Crystal Wings, Salas's mother, were my students. Hazel was part of a guild I only found out about after she passed away. The guild had two unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies. They have a very powerful spell blocking from anypony from seeing their past, or who they even are. However, I only found out their name through some intensive searching for a month. They all share the same last names of each of you."

"Say what now?" Apple Jack shouted.

Celestia nodded. "I understand your shock, I was shocked as well." She moved around a bit. "There was Wintershy, Clarity, Hazel Sparkle, Light Dash, Apple Pie, Black Jack."

"Appently they weren't good ponies either." Luna added.

"Yes...they killed ponies by taking them to far away places, binding them with chains and magic. This was all I could uncover." Celestia explained. "I saw Salas's...memory. He cried while he saw his parents defend him. They were placed in the same cave, Salas was put to sleep by a spell I tought to put creatures to sleep if they were angered. I suppose it was my greatest mistake of my life. I didn't know rivalry between two mares could be so strong. To end another's life to gain immortality..."

"So what Salas? What did you see in his memory?" Rarity asked.

"He only knows Hazel's name, luckily for you five, he doesn't about your past selves."

"A guild like that is or was banned from ever forming again. All guilds and parties must be accepted by Tia and I."

Celestia's words hung in the air. All but the wind made any noise.

Twilight stood, her face looked as though tears had dried on her face, and her eyes were red. She sniffed a few times, rubbing her eyes. Her wings were still unfolded, and her mane was a mess. Celestia walked over to her, but she was pushed away. Pinkie Pie was next.

Celestia sighed pulling the pink pony back. She looked down at her, shaking her head.

"Don't, she apparently is not ready to speak to even me." Celestia frowned. "I'm even like her mother, and she doesn't want to speak to me. I am worried for the both of them."

Spike ran out of the cave, smiling. Celestia turned around and approached him from the left. "How is Dr. Spike?" She joked.

The dragon chuckled. "I need some emeralds or peridot." He said. "He's a lot better now, but he needs to eat something."

Celestia smiled, nuzzeling the small dragon. "Thank you Spike, you were very helpful."

Spike waved his hand, slightly blushing. "Oh, think nothing of it..."

Rarity kissed Spike on his cheek. "Thank you Spikey Wikey for making Salas better. You are truly a kind dragon."

Spike fell backwards, smiling wildly. Rarity giggled. "What a cutie..."

Meanwhile in the cave, Fluttershy smiled, humming to herself as she rapped a bandage around Salas's leg.

"T-thanks...for helping me." Salas looked away. "Are you mad at me?"

"Not at all. Why would I be mad at you?"

"When I made fun of Rainbow Dash, for liking you."

Fluttershy blushed with a smile. "I liked her too...she's amazing. You actually helped us...thank you." She smiled behind her mane.

Salas smiled. "You have earth magic, do you not fly?"

"Oh, I can fly, but not that well. It takes a lot out of me when I fly." Fluttershy tied the ending of the wrap within the rest of the bandages. "All better...how are you feeling?"

"A bit better. It is as though your smile alone can heal."

"Oh, I'm just good at taking care of animals." She looked at at him, and for a moment her smile went away. "Why are you so mad all the time?"

"I don't like taking about it, if you don't mind Fluttershy."

"Oh of course, you don't need to tell me, but just smile. If you would just smile, everypony will like you. Pinkie Pie does, and literally everypony in Ponyville is her friend."

Salas looked away. "What is there to smile about?"

Fluttershy hugged his neck. "That you are here, now, and alive." She had tiny streams of tears running down her face. "I know, trust me, I know what it's like to hurt here-" She placed her hoof over his heart on the right side of his chest. "-and it hurts a lot. You can't tell everypony what makes you really sad, and it hurts you because you want to but can't. I never told anypony this, so please don't tell anypony...I had a very bad dad...he....hurt me..and I have this fear I just can't get over. I fear somepony will hurt me, like he did when I was little."

Salas felt his heart skip a beat, he took a deep breath in until his chest hurt then let it out. "I'm guess I have no choice but return this secret with another....I'm afraid if I just let this go, I'll never avenge my father. He was my hero...he protected me from a group of bad ponies. I was little, six, when I was bound in a cave with him and my mom."

"I promise I won't tell anypony." Fluttershy said. "I hope when you find it in your heart to forgive Twilight  that we can be friends, and you can turn to us when you need help."

"Then you are an ally..." Salas smiled. "Thank you for helping me recover."

Fluttershy laid down near Salas, but gave him enough space in between them. She had a warm smile on her face, as though she had completed a goal. She found somepony who felt her pain, and in return they shared their fears. It was as if a huge weight was lifted from the mare's back...

Bonus: More on Salas

Alright...alright...uh-huh...m'kay...great!

Claps hands together....So, I guess more is required...alright, I can squeeze some more info for you smexy readers.

So up to the chapter where Fluttershy has a small talk with Salas about his burning hate. See, what's going on is that during his sleep, Salas had time to grow on his greed. Now I bet you're wondering what or where this greed he has.

Well, if you want something REALLY bad, and nothing more than just that one thing, it can become a deadly little sin we call Greed.

Salas wants nothing more than to respect balance between two parties. On his side, he was forced to a cave and woke up only to see his only loved ones long dead. The other party must give something in return for his favor. This need has turned into greed, causing him to grow. In reality he's the size of Spike, and it is because of his greed he is much taller than Celestia.

So on to some questions:

"Why are Spike and Rarity together?"

-Cuz why not?

"Why is Salas still in the cave?"

-Keep reading, or you can guess yourself.

Now I will have a chapter towards the end of the story that'll....end...yeah...end this, but it will be another few chapters before it gets to that point. Salas still needs to have his own talks with the rest of the elements, including a small chat with Discord that'll help Salas see the problems with holding onto his hate towards the Sparkles.

And what of the past six? Well, Salas will infact NOT find out about them to prevent further issues, and making the fic much longer then I had planned for it to be. Not everything needs to be put into detail, or have a peek around the topic.

Check out my blog sometime soon. I'll answer any questions I get over the next few hours.

Fluttershy's Help and Celestia's Faults

It's been two weeks. Salas was back to normal, with a few pains here and there. His attitude had changed a little as well. Somehow the talk with Fluttershy he had, helped him gain the will to enter Ponyville once again.

Butterflies filled his stomach, he couldn't stand standing outside the town, hiding in the trees. Next to him, Fluttershy, his first pony friend, stood with a meek smile behind her long flowing pink mane.

"W-what if they hate me?" Salas ask, sounding genuinely afraid. "What if-"

"I'm sure if I walk next to you, no pony will be afraid of you. I am the shyest pony in town." She squeed, sending Salas a kind smile. "And the cutest."

Salas chuckled. "At least you know you're a weapon of Harmony. Just a smile can send a grown stallion into having a heart attack." He joked.

Fluttershy giggled. "I maybe nieve, but at least I know my looks can kill."

This lifted some of the weight holding him down. Salas stood straighter, looking across the bridge. He swallowed his fear, taking his first of twenty steps.

Nineteen, it's been a thousand years. Eighteen, I'm half pony. Seventeen, they have changed....S-sixteen, I'm strong...maybe...Fifteen, I have Fluttershy. He paused, Fluttershy hadn't said anything, but looked at him with worry. Fourteen, I...am half dragon. Thirteen, they are weaker than me...maybe...Twelve.... He inhaled deeply, his legs were shaking. Twilight lives here..Eleven, I...I feel too! Ten, I've slept for a thousand years. Nine! I have a heart! A SOUL! Eight-seven-six! I CAN CARE TOO!

Fluttershy watched as Salas walked slowly towards Ponyville. Out from the covers of the trees, ponies all over had already seen him. They weren't screaming much to Salas's suprise, and just looked at him while Fluttershy was walking with him. She didn't know what he was thinking, but he started to walk faster.

Soon he was across the bridge, long after his twenty steps. He saw the pride in Fluttershy's eyes, seeing how glad she was to see him show himself to the town. Yes, they had already seen him, but he never had the time for them to actually judge him. He felt like all eyes were on his.

Oh boy was he right. Everypony, looked, glared, or ran out of sight. Forget their usual morning routines, a strange creature they've only seen once before is back, in their town. Salas held his chest as he walked along side Fluttershy. She had a soft smile on his face, and every few steps she'd make sure Salas was okay.

He didn't.

Salas felt like a foal going to his first year of school. Everypony was judging him, everypony was watching for him to fail. All sorts of eyes were locked on him, overseeing who was clearly walking with her. He saw so much friendship towards one another, but when he walked into town, all he saw was a mixture of fear and other scary emotions on a town that was like one big family. They all knew each other, but not him, no he was new.

"Fluttershy, get away from that thing!" A pony cried.

Salas's eyes flashed red, turning to the pony who called. She had red mane, and a green coat. He tried getting closer to her, but Fluttershy was already making her way to her.

"He is not a thing Rosebush! He is my friend, and his name is Salas!" She turned walking back to Salas, smiling to him, but mostly herself. Oh how it felt like to stick up for a friend. "I think he's nice, and just wants to start over."

"T-thanks...Fluttershy, for saying that."

She squeed with a smile. "Oh no problem! Friends help friends, no matter who or what they are." She replied.

"So, um...where are we going Shy?"

"Going to go see Rarity. I need to talk to her about this upcoming Gala." She point on ahead. "It's that way."

Salas raised a brow. "What's a Gala?"

Fluttershy cleared her throat. "Well, the Gala is a royal party at the castle in Canterlot were Celestia and Luna live. For one night, the castle is open for everypony to walk in and out of the walls, and if you have a special ticket you get to join the party." Her smile grew. "It's so much fun, I've been to the Gala three times."

"How are you invited?"

"Well, because we're the elements of Harmony, we can get in without a ticket, but Celestia gives us one anyways...I hope you can get in."

Salas nearly chuckled with a long sigh. "Really? Me, a ticket? Pft...no chance. I'd be thrown out the moment I stepped in." He looked down at Fluttershy. "I can't be there anyways. Discord is there."

Fluttershy squeaked. "Oh! Right!" She lost her smile. "That's too bad. I'm sure you would love to have fun."

"I would, really I've never been to a party before."

It was though time had stopped.

Luna slammed the door open to her sister's quarters. "Tia!"

"I know!" She rushed to her balcony. "I felt it too. It was like somepony had said they've never been to a party."

"Should we fix this?" Luna asked almost with a smerk.

Celestia shook her head. "We do not know who said this."

Luna facehoofed. "Thou must think Tia, who hasn't been to a party?"

She gasped. "Salas?!"

Luna nodded. "I propose we invite him to the next Gala."

"What about Discord?"

Yes, what about me? I suppose I could split a part of myself off. Discord's voice rang. He popped into existence.

Celestia snorted. "Seriously Discord?" She asked. "We told you not to do that!"

"As much as I love not doing that, I couldn't help but over hear my name." His right ear expanded to the size of Dumbo's. He even flapped it with a giggle. "This Salas situation is most intriguing."

As much as Celestia wanted to turn Discord to stone, throw him into a volcano, use dark magic to bring him back, just to kill him again, she couldn't. However she did agree with Discord, Salas was different, more so than just his shape.

"Go on..."

Discord grinned. "What do we know about Salas as of the moment."

Celestia rubbed her chin, sitting down on a few pillows in her study. Luna and Discord waiting for her to reply. "Salas my suffer some form of PTSD. Affecting his magic sense, his ability to think..." She rubbed the roof of her nose, sighing greatly. "I just don't understand why Salas and his family were forced in a cave. Honestly! That poor creature is angry at me because I didn't notice anything until it was years too late!"

"Tia, you were handling a broken kingdom, I'm sure he wou-"

"But he would!" Celestia shot an angry look at Luna. "Our my chance for him to forgive is at the Grand Galloping Gala in a few weeks."

"Now, think Tia, wouldn't he be overwhelmed by all the magic in one place?" Discord noted.

Celestia snorted. "He sleeps next to the Tree of Harmony!" She nodded. "He'll be fine. Besides, Fluttershy told me today she's taking Salas into town to get a suit made for him."

Luna giggled. "We wish to see him more that ever now! To see him in a suit, makes me want to laugh my heart out."

Discord snapped his fingers turning into Salas. He bowed as a suit flashed, Luna was thrown into a fit of laughter.

"You would make a good jester Discord."

"Twas why I took over Luna." Discord deadpaned.

Luna suppressed her chuckles by putting on her best poker face. "Ah, yes...I remember."

Celestia stood up. "I need to walk." This was Celestia's way of saying "I need to think alone."

"Return for sundown Tia..." Luna nodded.

Celestia left with saying a word. She had too much to think about. Too much to worry.

For a while she just watched her own steps as she walked down the long empty hall. White marble walls, and carpeted tile floor. Clear glass windows allowed the late day sunlight to shine through which slightly eased her thoughts.

Stopping she sat down, ears falling back. She began to cry softly. "It's my fault he's in such distress..." She rubbed her eyes as she cried as quietly as she could. Her make-up began to stain her pure white coat. The mascara drew pale gray lines with her tears down her face, reaching her chin. "I am a horrid princess. Even if it is only one life that it suffering..."

"P-princess?" A maid walked into the hall. "Are you okay?"

Celestia shook her head. "No...I'm not my little pony...I've done something terrible..."

"May I ask what?" The mare began to dry Celestia's face, and cleared the mascara.

"I caused a creature to suffer more than any being should ever live through...I-I never ment too...b...but..." Celestia began to sob harder, and all the maid did was sigh, hugging Celestia and patting her on the back.

"Let it out princess, I won't tell anypony of your temporary weakness." She said in a motherly tone.

"I'M A HORRIBLE PRINCESS!"

Twilight Redeems (PART:1) - Magic's Fury

Salas shivered, trying to spark a flame that would not catch. His own ability to breath the fire that burned him, also was ment to save him. He looked at the emerald laying on the other side of the cave. The feeling of hate towards his mother was drowned the need to contact her. His body was undergoing strange bodily fluctuations, one moment he is as big as a mountain, another he's as small as his full blooded draconic friend.

It was a strange feeling, as he became closer to the ponies his body changed. It was nearing winter, it was also two weeks from the Grand Galloping Gala. He was made a suit that was made of silk, as most cloths that Rarity owned somehow left red lines on his body. They burned him, causing him to curl up when the pain got too great.

The suit was a lively white color matching Celestia's coat color with a deep emerald green undershirt and green gloves. When he looked at himself in the mirror, he almost smiled at how much he'd changed. His memories focused on the far bottom right of the mirror. He saw, standing behind the doorway of the room he was in, was Twilight. Why, he didn't know, but she was infact smiling at him.

A cool breeze in side the cave caused him to try clicking his jaw again, a small green flame burned the inside of his mouth as he tried to keep himself warm. He stood up, walking over to the crystal he would soon call his mother.

Picking it up, he threw it to the tree, muttering his mother's name, the crystal exploded showing his mother's face.

"M-mother!" He shouted with a stutter in his voice.

"Salas..." Her voice was much calmer than his. "It's been many days since we've last spoken."

Salas nodded, shivering loudly enough for his mother to hear it.

"You are weaker in the cold my son, not like your father and I...which causes me to question my ancestor's past transactions...."

"Mother...I need your blessings..." Salas bowed, and it was clear she felt his need. "Just some strength...please..."

She chuckled at his request. "Have you made peace with the ponies yet my son?"

"I-I....I've..." He struggled to find the right words. "Tried...I have made two or three friends. Fluttershy the Pegasus and the element of Kindness, Spike the Dragon, and Rarity the Unicorn and the element of Generosity."

She hummed for a moment, before her head nodded. "I see this now my wonderful son. I look inside your memories as we speak. As the connection between us are by blood and magic. And as your mother, I also see why you call me so close to winter's height. The cold harms you as like fire, and you struggle to find a perfect medium in a world at that either too hot or too cold."

"Mother, please..."

"I was getting to it!" She snapped. "Yes, I will bless you with warmth until seasons end for stepping so far from your greed and hate towards the rebirths of your captors."

"What do you mean? Rebirths of your captors?!" He asked. "Are you saying-"

"Yes, but their souls are in their fourth rebirth. They somehow saw the light after they died." The crystal began to shrink. "The line is weakening Salas. Please, I know I....grief...." The crystal shrunk down finally.

Salas, angered, threw his fists down on the ground as a light enveloped him. Warmth at last he screamed out at the top of his lungs.

"DAMMIT TO TARTARUS!!!!" His jaw clicked violently sending sparks flying through the air.

His wings erupted from his back as his entire body grew. "I TRUSTED THEM!!!" His voice grew deeper as his body threatened to suffocate the cave. His crawled out of the cave just as his tail could fit like a shoe of the walls. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Celestia shifted upright like a bullet, a horrifying scream woke her in her bed chambers. She threw her doors open to the balcony she often stood upon to look over all of Equestria. Far, deep in the middle of the Everfree Forest, stood what may have been Salas. His claws were the size of the spike on top her tower. His body, the size of Canterlot. Tinier screams below were of the town's panic, and she swore to herself.

"Tia!" Luna screamed, flying over. "Is that Salas? I thought he was struggling to move in his cave!"

"That is sister, and it seems as though the damn has broken..." Celestia sat down, her mouth agape. "Mother of me...Tartarus hath no fury upon the tormented soul of a dragon who lost his love..."

"And cities will burn far above..." Luna finished. "Sister, we must go and help the elements."

"R-right..." Celestia hesitated to stand. Far off everypony could see the giant with great blood red eyes that had flames pouring out of it from the sides.

Fire seemed to pour like liquid from his mouth as he screamed. "I TRUSTED YOU ALL!!!"

The princesses gasped before flying off. "Tia....we think he knows..."

Twilight Redeems (PART:2) : The Beast Inside

I am free...

I am jailed...again

There was a void around me. I floated behind a tinted window, showing the destruction my other was causing. His voice always shouting, never whispering. I saw ponies crying in pain as he crushed them.

WE TRUSTED YOU! His voice banged violently on my ear drums. LIERS! ALL OF YOU!

Mother said they changed..." I whispered softly. Celestia and Luna forgave our existence...you-"

DIE! I felt our body being pushed back by a blast. I moved my soul around, and saw the sun and moon out at once. I gasped as they crossed paths, a black-white-purple-pink lazer pierced the heavens, striking us. It felt like stepping a lego (figured out by playing with Spike one day).

Please...we must maintain... I pleaded to myself. Mother said they were better now...can't we forgive them?

I writhed in pain, another lazer was fired. We were brought on one knee, panting. The second burned with power, it reminded me when I first used my fire. The feeling of dying five times over every fire I create, that feeling was gone when all the nerves in my mouth died. I only felt the pain in my chest, like all the air was being forced out of my chest from a punch to the stomach.

We finally were trapped still in conflict. If one party didn't want to move, until an agreement is passed we would remain at a standstill, but fire still poured, he had control of the rest of my body. His will still much stronger than my will. I saw a yellow pony get thrown into a mountain, I felt like crying.

"Help!" I flet strong enough to speak at least that word.

Moments ago

Guards rushed about, blasts all around from unicorns using battle magic to defend their town. Shields were thrown, and crashed with the users crying out in pain. Not even inhaced magic from ponies trying to defend little foals, they fell too. The Death count already reached twenty-four. I felt like crying, even a few tears fell behind me as I cried.

Luna was trying to teleport ponies with Rarity and four other unicorns. Twilight was helping Rainbow Dash distract Salas, or whatever this force was. It felt dark, like in the Everfree Forest.

"Luna!" I screamed. "We need to use the Unity Beam!"

Even Twilight gasped. "Princess! I only used it to defend Equestria!"

I turned to her. "Twilight Sparkle! Does this not look like we need to use it!?"

She reluctantly nodded. "Where's Cadence?" Her ears fell, tears hit the ground. "I don't want to kill him...I've never killed a pony before!"

I placed my hoof on her head. "I don't wish to do this, but...we already lost a pony to him. Only true hate can act the will to kill another sentient being. Cadence is in the castle this week, go, get her swiftly!"

Twilight boomed off while Rainbow stepped up her pace. Fire burned the sky, turning it red as the smoke bellowed into the atmosphere. I began aiding Rainbow Dash, using my flight and magic in anyway I could to buy time. His eyes glowed a deep red, and fire burned from his eyes like shadows.

This was hate magic, burning desire turned physical. Dragons had this type of magic, but many didn't grow to his size.

I saw weather teams fly in with thundering tornados, and just in that moment, whatever Salas became, he cut into the tornado. The wild wind made a screech like metal to a chalkboard. I covered my ears from the noise, and then I saw six ponies laying the ground. I flew over to them.

"Are you okay my little ponies!?" I cried, lifting one up.

"I...hurt...so bad..." One wimpered in pain. "Please...make it stop."

I turned to see Twilight flying with Cadence close behind her.

"So much for winter causing him to sleep." Twilight groaned. "I'm ready princess."

"As am I, I don't want to hurt him, but I hear ponies are already dying by his h-"

"This isn't Salas. He swore he would follow my law! A dragon's oath is never broken." I looked up. "Maybe we can weaken it..."

"Friendship beam didn't do anything to him princess. Are you sure the Unity Beam will work?"

"It nearly killed Tirek, I'm sure it can weaken it."

"Tia!" Luna landed, panting heavily. "It is now or never, the beast stands still. Perhaps Salas is keeping it still?"

"If he keeps his word, then I'm sure it's him. Luna....Terradeline..."

Luna gasped. "Lonvoahn!"

"Inenna..." I nodded.

"What are you two saying?"

"Twilight take south, Cadence take north, Luna take west, I'll take east." My horn began to glow white with energy as the sun moved above Salas, and the moon followed in pursuit, creating the eclipse.

"Vahine-solosa-Lün." Luna chanted.

"Sonsoine-Táne-Novahnas." Cadence added.

"Makina-magicka-tenzol!" Twilight covered her mouth, not knowing why she chanted.

"Tal-noodles-Vine!" I ended the chant, and we threw our hooves down violently.

A moment later a massive beam of energy fired from Sun, went through the moon to focus the energy, covered the sky with light, and impacted the earth that Salas stood over. At first it seemed to do nothing, but he started to scream.

"Help!" A softer voice called.

We gasped, looking at one another.

"We almost had it!" Luna cheered. "Again!"

The chant-laser beam, and about caused the creature to cry out in pain. It was a wail more than a cry, like he had suffered through harsh torture. I winced, breaking my part of the circle, the moon vanished from the sky. Whatever had taken Salas over seemed to have surrendered.

It knelt over, well more like fell over, crashing to the ground with a violent rumble, groaning in pain.

"Enough...I surrender..."

I landed infront of his face, a slight frown laying across my white muzzle. "I wish to speak to the maker of this mess." My voice I found to be low, due to my anger of this situation. Twenty ponies died, twenty too many.

"It is I..." It groaned in pain, letting out a breath of sickening, ashy air.

I almost smiled, the sudden change in its attitude, and willingness to speak in peace. "I ask why you choose to attack, murder, and rampage on my ponies, your friends no doubt...?"

"They are not my friends...They are liers, murderers, villain..."

I snorted. "Now you are a vow breaker, a murderer, and a villain..."

"And you Celestia? What are you?"

I sighed, looking around at the burning village that was once Ponyville, ponies crying as they held their dead loved ones. "Your judge Salas, I am your judge. Twenty or more ponies of all ages are now in the summerlands because of you. It was almost genocide that you've done here today."

I paused, sitting down as the other princesses landed next to me. Twilight however stood in between Salas and I. She looked at me, looking as though she were about to cry. I nodded, waving my hoof sadly, sighing, my energy had been almost drained. Twilight was the only princess out of all of us that was still willing to stand, or even have her eyes fully open.

"Salas..." She said rubbing his massive snout gently. "Why?"

"Because I'm hurt Twilight." A softer voice spoke. She looked surprised, to be honest with myself, so was I. "He's letting me speak, however..." He gave a hurt chuckle, grabbing his side. "I can't really do anything now. I said I don't want to move, and he agrees."

"Why are you hurt is what I was asking!" Twilight shouted angerly, tears were dripping onto the burnt ground. "I knew you were hurt Salas, dammit you asshole! TELL ME WHY YOU KILLED THEM WHEN YOU COULD'VE KILLED ME!!!!"

My jaw dropped, and I heard Cadence gasp. Luna was frozen in place.

"TELL ME SALAS!" Her voice was nearing that of the royal voice, and her mane began to flick. "AS PRINCESS OF MAGIC I ORDER YOU TO TELL ME!!!"

"Because Twilight...you have a family, you have friends, and I...I am alone. I know what will happen next...I beg you...kill me swiftly. I've suffered too much now."

"Shrink down to your normal size...now!" Twilight stomped her hoof onto the ground. "Now-" Her horn began to glow, and I felt a force pushing against my head. "Everypony in Ponyville, those of you that have survived the dragon attack. Come here please, I will be the judge today, I will want to here your opinion on my judgement."

By bulk unicorn and pegasi almost appeared out of nowhere. Earth ponies from all around arrived, and each group were with their respective races. There was almost a sickening silence that made the air still, everypony was breathing, softly. It was hard to see Salas, he shrunk down to his normal size only a few moments ago.

Twilight had waited for what seemed like forever, but then I felt the push on my head again as her horn glowed once more.

"Everypony standing here as witness to the attack on Ponyville has two options, both in which Salas will live, as my first act of princess he will continue to live, but how he goes about doing this is up to you all. This event will be recorded, so bare in mind that your names will be in documentation." She stepped up to Salas, not even looking at me for approval for her actions. "The first option is, Salas will work here in Ponyville, make up for the damage he has caused to our homes and businesses by helping with the repairs. He will take orders from everypony, but my orders are first, then yours. If need be, I'll make a line."

"As for the second option?" Luna asked, stepping up to Twilight.

"He will be banished...to the stars." Twilight sniffed. "Until every constellation ever thought of is gone."

"Twilight!" I spoke up. "You understand that Luna had killed thousands during her attack as Nightmare Moon!? Why such a hard punishment?!"

"Because...he said he didn't have any friends." Rarity stepped from the crowd, along with Fluttershy, and the rest of the elements. "I had thought when I made you your suit, that sealed the deal."

"And I though we were going to race!" Rainbow Dash shouted in protest. "Seriously dude!?"

"We had that talk in your cave remember?"

"So let's vote!" Apple Jack snorted. "I need to get to making some refreshments for the repairs!"

"All who is will to forgive Salas for his wrong doings, go to the left, all opposed, right." Twilight pushed the thought.
