A STORM ON THE HORIZON
“Where is he?!”
Twilight roared at the top of her lungs as she slammed Fluttershy's door open day later after she had left.
“Who? Discord?” Fluttershy asked curiously.”
“No, the other draconequus who pasted a sign onto my hindquarters, yes him!” The Alicorn seethed with a glare.
“Oh come now Twilight, it wasn't that bad was it?” Fluttershy asked meekly in a vain attempt to calm the pissed off mare.
“You knew?!” Twilight sputtered out upon hearing this.
“Y-Yes and I did try to stop you at first but, um, Discord stopped me from saying anything. I admit it was a little mean of him but after I thought about it, it was no worse than a prank that Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash would pull.” Fluttershy replied doing her very best not to allow a smile to crack on her otherwise shy facial features. She did find the joke rather funny but she didn't dare let Twilight know this lest she fear her wrath.
“No worse? Do you realize how painful it was to rip that sign off?! I had to double-check to make sure I hadn't ripped off my clitoris after I had managed to pry that sign off!” Twilight retorted with a glare at which point a blush formed on the Pegasus's face.
“I think you may be getting a little too upset over a,um, harmless prank, Twilight.” Fluttershy replied defending her coltfriend now.
“You call this, harmless?!” Twilight exclaimed, turned around, and lifted her tail which revealed her normally purple vagina, looking as if somepony had taken a paddle to it. “It wasn't pasted to my rump, it was pasted right on my vagina, Fluttershy!” The Alicorn exclaimed and sighed before she turned around and looked at the yellow Pegasus again.
This fact made it even harder for Fluttershy to maintain her passive expression and not laugh at her friend's misfortune. While she would never admit it, in some ways, Discord had corrupted the innocent shy Pegasus she once was. “I um, ahem! I'll talk to him about it. I can only imagine how... Ahem, painful that was for you.” Fluttershy replied softly, struggling to keep a straight face as her facial features threatened to contort in a smirk which would inevitably lead to her laughing at Twilight's predicament each time she cleared her throat.
“Your trying not to laugh at me right now, aren't you?”
“N-No! O-Of, ahem, course not!”
“Uh-huh... sure you aren't.”
Finally, the Pegasus could hide it no longer and suddenly without warning began to laugh uncontrollably. “I-I can't believe he actually pasted it on y-y-your-bwhahahaa!!!” Fluttershy blurted out between laughs as she fell to her side and held them with her front hooves as laughed.
Twilight simply stared at her friend as she continued to laugh, her expression unamused and mildly annoyed.

Applejack walked out from her orchard after a long morning of work only for an unsettling sight to meet her eyes as she walked towards her house. Standing next to the fence was none other than her fillyfriend, Rainbow Dash but that wasn't what made the scene unsettling to the farm mare. No, what made it unsettling was the fact she was talking with a stallion who by the looks of it, was flirting with her.
Despite this, she put on a false smile and walked over to greet the stallion and Rainbow Dash. “Oh, there she is! This is the mare I was telling you about.” Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she noticed the farm pony approaching them.
“H-Howdy.” Applejack greeted the stallion as she walked next to her fillyfriend whom quickly put a hoof around her.
“Hey there, good lookin.” The stallion replied with a smirk.
“So yeah, like I was saying, I'm kind of off the market now since I'm going steady with Applejack now.” Rainbow Dash replied as she held the farm mare close.
“Ya sure about that? Maybe your new fillyfriend wants in on the fun?” The stallion replied with a big grin as he stared at the two mares now.
“We're sure. Nice meetin ya, uh... whoever ya are.” Applejack replied quickly before Rainbow Dash had a chance to reply, turned around, and began to walk away from the two.
“Well you heard her, not interested. See ya around!” Rainbow Dash added before she gave a light sprint to catch up with the farm mare who has quickly made some distance between the two.
“You could have been a little more polite you know?” The Pegasus remarked with a mildly annoyed expression.
“Just who in tarnation was that Rainbow?” Applejack asked returning the Pegasus's annoyed expression with an even more annoyed expression if possible.
“Just an old hook-up of mine I used to buck every few weeks or so.” Rainbow Dash replied nonchalantly as she walked next to Applejack now.
“Ya talk like that ain't such a big deal.” Applejack replied sounding even more annoyed now.
“Of course it isn't. He's just a stallion looking to get some flank. There are plenty of other mares in Ponyville who are willing to put out so it's not like he won't end up getting lucky.” Rainbow Dash replied still not getting the hint that this topic was agitating the farm mare.
“Yet he came lookin for you.” Applejack remarked as she stopped and looked at the Pegasus.
“Of course he did. Everypony knows that when it comes to a score, nothing is better than my flank!” Rainbow Dash boasted as she placed a hoof on her chest and smiled egotistically as she often did when she bragged about herself.
“Well hopefully, he'll let everypony know that the best in town, is no longer on the market as ya called it.” Applejack replied before she resumed walking back to her house.
“He probably won't. I don't think most of the stallions I bucked even knew each other.” The Pegasus remarked nonchalantly until she finally realized just how much this topic was agitating her fillyfriend. “Say... You aren't jealous, are you?” She added with a coy smirk.
“Of course Ah ain't! Don't mean Ah have to like the idea of stallions comin over just to try to get fresh with ya!” Applejack snapped before she picked up her pace to which the Pegasus began to hover next to her in order to keep up with her pace now.
“Oh come on A-J. You know that those stallions don't even have a chance in Tartarus of getting lucky with me as long as I'm with you.” Rainbow Dash stated with a smirk as she leaned down and nuzzled the farm mare's cheek.
Applejack hesitated for a few moments before she replied. “Ah know.” She said as she stepped onto the front porch of the apple family house, opened it, and went inside.
“What the hay was that about?” Rainbow Dash asked curiously, having taken a clear note of the farm mare's hesitation to reply to her statement.
---------------------------------------------------
“What do you mean, he's not here?” Twilight asked incredulously once Fluttershy had managed to stop laughing and tell her that Discord was not here at the present time.
“He was um, called back to Canterlot by Princess Celestia.” Fluttershy replied as she walked over to her table, and pointed to the letter.
Curiously, Twilight levitated the letter over to her with her magic and began to read its contents.
To Discord and Fluttershy,
A matter of the utmost importance has come up and I would like to request that Discord come to see me at his earliest convenience. I'm afraid I can not speak of the details at the present time due to the fragile state of the situation. Please know that Discord is not in any trouble but we are in need of his particular set of magical skills for this assignment.
Sincerely,
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
P.S. And by “Your earliest convenience”, we DO NOT mean whenever you feel like it Discord.
“Why would Princess Celestia call for Discord without telling me first?” Twilight asked with a look of concern on her face as she spoke now.
“I don't know. You don't think something bad has happened, do you?” Fluttershy asked her expression suddenly becoming nervous as she asked this question.
“I certainly hope not but we can't rule anything out at this point.” Twilight replied, the concern on her face still apparent as she spoke. “But why would she need Discord's particular set of magical skills for?” The Alicorn thought to herself as she placed a hoof on her chin looking deep in thought at the moment.
