Chapter Fifteen:

Jealousy

Spark was leading the group with Molotov at her side; directing her to where he thinks there is a way to get to the other ponies being held captive. She was a little upset but she was mostly filled with anger and hatred towards Axe. She was glad that there was silence between the group for a few minutes other wise she would've taken her anger out on them.

Tornado followed as close as she could to Spark still wondering what happened and where Axe was going.

“Mommy...” Tornado said as she was rudely interrupted.

“Sweetie can you please stop calling me mommy. I'm not your mother Tornado. Call me Spark,” Spark replied angrily.

“Um...” Tornado gulped a little scared. “Yes Spark.”

Tornado slowly moved away from Spark and Spark never noticed her slightly moving away.

“Now what did you want to ask me?” Spark said without looking at Tornado.

“I was wondering...what happened to Axe?” Tornado asked.

“Axe...Axe is going to help us stop the enemy leader by himself,” Spark answered.

“Spark the route to the pony slaves are blocked by the locked door. What is your recommendation?” Molotov said and exactly after he said that, the double doors that were dark gray and made out of stone started getting banged on from the other side.

“Well find some cover colts!” Spark yelled. “Tornado hide!”

Spark got into cover with her pistol drawn out. She saw a Hammerburst Assault Rifle and she used her magic to pull it towards her. She now had two weapons pointed at the door where dust was falling from the ceiling because of the pounding of the door.

Molotov took cover near Spark again because he liked being near her. He thought that he was safe and more comfortable if he was around her then anypony else.

The door blasted open and two Maulers with their heavy metal shields and explosive mace came through the doorway. Behind them were five drones and their Hammerbursts, a Kantus with his Gorgon pistol, and three Theron Guards in their elite armor.

The Kantus, drones, and Theron Guards kept running at them until they got into cover by the rising, wooden, hard walls.

The two opposing forces fought out against each other dodging waves after waves of bullets being chunked at each and every one of them.

The ponies weren't being effective that much since there was a long gap between them and the mysterious creatures. And also that the Locusts weren't even aiming ten percent of the time while the ponies were. The thing that really had an effect against the group was the two Maulers coming at them.

The Maulers crouched and slowly walked closer and closer to where the ponies were with their shield aimed at them deflecting their bullets.

“How the fuck are we supposed to kill these things Sarge?!?!?!” One of the Privates said.

“I don't know just hit'em harder!” Spark yelled back struggling to kill the monsters which made her even more frustrated.

Spark spied at one of the Maulers trying to learn its tactic and where it's weakness is. She realized that its not going to attack them with the shield but with the explosive mace in it's other hand. She also realized that the only way for it to attack them with it's mace is by that it has to lift his shield up giving the ponies a chance to attack it with everything they got.

“Hey Colts!” Spark yelled talking to everypony. “Reload now and stay into cover until my signal!”

Everypony did as she commanded especially Molotov who was beginning to fall in love with her. They kept waiting and waiting for the urge to shoot everything they saw.

“NOW!” Spark yelled.

Everypony got out of cover and together they started shooting their weapons at the Maulers that weren't using their shields as cover for themselves.

The Maulers kept getting shot at not knowing if it should charge at them risk being killed or retreat. It's mind was too slow to think and the last thing the Mauler had to say was “NNOOO!!!”

It died creating a big thump sound as it hit the ground with all it's weight.

Spark's brilliance was noted to Molotov as he saw how fierce and hot she  looked in battle. Molotov saw how her plan worked and really wanted to complement her but he then realized that they were still in a battle.

“Hey Spark!” Molotov yelled as the loud sound of bullets whizzing past over them.

“Yeah?” Spark said still concentrating on the Locusts.

“You're pretty talented aren't you?” He said.

“Yeah I guess. Just had a lot of special training thats all,” she said.

“You're a pretty good sergeant. I like you Sergeant Spark. Glad I got to meet you,” he said.

“Me too. And, you're a pretty good Corporal to have around that is very useful to me,” she replied.

Spark started liking Molotov a little more then normal as she was not supposed to but she didn't care. She liked this stallion.  

“Thanks Sergeant!” he said.

Spark then eyed this Locust Drone that was on a balcony above the other Locusts. She saw that it ran to a switch, pulled it down, and then without warning, the ponies' cover dropped back into the ground revealing them all to the Locusts who were inaccurately firing at them.

“Everypony RETREAT!!!” Spark yelled as she ran back shooting behind her.

Axe kept going up the stairs angrily that Spark betrayed him hauling the heavy gun on his back.

“I cant believe that she'd really leave me to go alone against probably hundreds of these things. I bet she'd love to see me rot in a hell hole just like this filthy place. I mean the only body of liquid down here is the glowing, greenish, yellowish, I don't even know if its drinkable or if its poisonous. Great place for Spark to leave me for dead,” He said angrily.

Axe kept walking up more flights of stairs having visions that Spark and Molotov would fall in love with each other and then they would have a baby and get married. He had many more day nightmares but that one in particular was the worst to him.

Axe saw a big stone building structure and he started walking over the little bridge that wasn't defended.

The building was hanging from the ceiling and it was a very large structure with only four routes to get inside. The structure was surrounded by a large moat underneath and around it which was basically like acid if you touched it which meant the only access to enter or exit the structure was four bridges; the North bridge, South bridge, East Bridge, and West bridge.

To ponies, the laws of the compass didn't really apply if you had a large civilization living underground.

But with Locusts, it made perfect sense and they figured out a way to tell which way was North, South, East, and West underground.

Axe was met by many Theron Guards in elite armor that were on a large open elevator.

The elevator was only a hard platform that could be pulled up or down by chains like in a medieval castle. There was no covering on the elevator and no siding on the elevator so there would be no cover against an air attack on the elevator.

Axe was on the middle of the bridge and he was forced to scavenge for cover on it. He took cover and he started firing his Mulcher at them spreading his ammunition at them.

“ATTACK!!!” One of the Locusts said in their slow, deep, loud voice.

The Locusts having their Torque Bows (A Torque Bow is basically a bow and arrow that is made of metal and runs on charged electric to fire explosive-tipped arrows at very long distances) kept bombarding Axe with their explosive arrows that kept hitting his piece of cover.

“Dammit!!!” Axe yelled angrily not being able to fire his weapon without being

pelted by so many explosive-tipped arrows.

Axe was sweating from hauling the heavy machine everywhere on his back and then bullets from many Hammerbursts started flying around past him. He looked to see who that was expecting that Spark and the others came to aid him in his mission.

But what he saw was more of the Locusts. About five Grenadiers, and two Grenadier Elites.

Axe finally figured out that he wasn't going to make it out alive by fending them all off by himself. He realized that he needed Spark and that he should of listened to her in the first place. He knew that he wasn't going to live much longer if he keeps it up.

“Okay I surrender!!!” Axe said throwing his harness off him along with his gun.

The Locusts stop shooting and start running towards him. Axe just stands bravely preparing to witness what lies before him and what is the source of these monsters.

Axe expected that the Locusts would tie him up and take him to their leader but what really happened was that a Grenadier came and hit him in the face knocking him out unconscious. He never would've thought of this action would've been done by a Grenadier.

Axe woke up with the nonstop pounding in his head from the concussion he had endured.

Axe found himself strapped to a hard and cold table in an x position.  

“Hello pony. We've been expecting you,” Said an unfamiliar voice.

Axe looked at where the voice was coming from and saw a figure that looked like a female pony. He looked harder at her and saw that she was actually a female Alicorn.

“Princess Celestia” Axe said struggling to get out of his cuffs that were strapping him down.

“Wrong feeble earth pony,” The mysterious Alicorn said.

“Princess Luna?” He said again.

“Wrong again pony,” the Alicorn said.

The Alicorn walked into the light that glistened on her black, soft, smooth coat. She had a evil grin on her face as she looked at him. Her blue, sparked, mane and tail waved around in the air as a mass of energy and not as hair. The light flicked off her shiny light blue armor that was on her.

She was right beside him walking the length of the table with the tip of her wing sliding on the middle of Axe's stomach to his forehead.

Axe was shaking in fear not knowing who this Alicorn is and was afraid that she might bestow her wrath on him. He was also giggling inside of him from the sensation that tickled him from the Alicorn's wing sliding across him.

She looked at him with her eyes that were of a dragon still pressing the tip of her wing against Axe's forehead and said “We have a lot to discuss, Axe.”

“Everypony RETREAT!!!” Spark yelled as she ran back shooting behind her.

All of the ponies followed her not defending themselves from the bullets hitting just centimeters behind them on the ground.

The Locusts that were behind them started chasing them not letting the ponies out of their sight.

“Keep Moving!!!” Spark yelled panting as she ran.

Spark was planning to lead the ponies left at a corner but then they were blocked off from three Flame Boomers and two Flame Grenadiers. She then redirected her route by going another pathway.

Spark led the group to a dead end and she looked back to see if the Locusts were still following them; and they were.

A Boomer started walking towards them with the ground shaking at every step he took. He held his Boomshot at them not aiming as usual and he then said “Boom!”

The Boomer pulled the trigger and the projectile hit the wall behind the ponies causing them to be pushed painfully towards the Locusts on the ground.

Spark lifted her head up slowly shaking in pain from the bruises and large burn marks on her back and on her legs. She now knew that she was done for. She looked at the Boomer that was standing before her barely able to keep her head up without having no strength.

She gave her last impression on the world known to the Boomer from her hard angry stare that she gave him.

The Boomer without hesitation, did his final kill by another shot. He attempted to pull the trigger but then, everybody and everypony heard gunshots from behind them and then without warning, the Boomer's head exploded from a direct head shot at his skull. Blood squirted out of his neck and he fell back onto the ground with a pool of blood underneath him in just one second.

Spark expected that Axe would've saved their ass this time and decided to stay with her now and not go separate ways. She still laid in the ground wounded but nothing that she couldn't shrug off her shoulders in a day. She kept looking up waiting for a sign that Axe came to help them but instead, she saw five ponies running towards her direction. There were two Unicorns, two Earth ponies, and one Pegasus.

A Unicorn that could be easily seen as the leader of the group just by looking at his scars and better armor that was on him. The Unicorn ran towards Spark's direction and stopped in front of her revealing his hoof out to her.

“Are you hurt? Do you need help or medical assistance?” The Unicorn leader said to her.

Spark reached her hoof out at him and she pulled her up.

“No I'm fine,” Spark replied.

“Good because I didn't bring any medical supplies. If you were then we would've been screwed,” The white stallion said with his dark gray mane and tail.

Spark chuckled at the short lived joke and looked at her team that was being revived from their wounds. She saw that everypony that was on her team was okay except for one of the Privates.

Spark saw Molotov injured in his back legs which had a critical amount of burn activity. In other words, he had 3rd degree burns.

Some of the other ponies helped him up and wrapped his back legs in bandages from preventing him from getting any infection or virus in him.

Spark looked back at the Unicorn leader with a smile and said “Whats your name soldier?”

“I'm Sergeant Shape Shifter and this is Delta Squad. You can just call me Sergeant Shift,” Shift said.

“I'll keep that in mind,” Spark replied rolling her eyes.

Spark then walked past Shifter and Shifter kept staring at her puzzled at what she was going to do next.

“Uhh where are you going?” Shifter said.

Spark stopped and turned her head around to look at Shifter without moving her body and she said “Something important came up.”

“Like what?” Shifter replied.

“I'm going after Axe. Now all of you stay here,” Spark said as she then started running at a full gallop of where Axe is at. She felt that Axe was in trouble.

“Who are you?” Axe asked as he struggled to break out of his restraints.

“You mean, you don't know me? Everypony in Equestria knows me except for of course, you. I'm Nightmare Moon!!!” Nightmare said evilly.

“What are you?” He said.

“I guess that I'm...”

“Let me out of here!!!” He demanded as he kept on pulling against his restraints.

Nightmare Moon used her magic to shock Axe. She had an evil grin revealing her teeth in joy.

Axe shook, fidgeted, and screamed in pain nonstop from the electrifying shock.

Nightmare Moon stopped shocking him and then she pushed her hoof into his chest saying “Nopony interrupts the new queen of Equestria when she is speaking. Understand me slave?”

“Your...crushing...me!” He said panting to get more air into his lungs.

Nightmare Moon got off him and walked to the other side of the table.

“Why are you doing this Nightmare Moon? Why? Your a Alicorn, a pony. Why do you want to destroy your own kind?”

“Well, I suppose I can tell you why,” Nightmare said folding her wings to her sides. It all started when I was on the moon. This happened about three years ago believe it or not. I wanted revenge against Celestia so bad and I couldn't get back to Equestria. I knew that if I was to defeat her, and bring total night upon Equestria, I was going to need an army. I flew off into space and confronted the planet Sera (Sierra). I found these creatures or heh heh, monsters that you call it? These are Locusts from that planet. They were on the verge of defeat from the humans. Their queen was dead and they begged me to save them and get them off the planet. In return, they'd worship me as their new queen and do anything I say. I brought them to the moon and I transported them underground. They built their city and kept on reproducing themselves for the big war that I told them about in the future between Locusts and ponies. I promised them that Locusts will win and whoever is on thew side of the future queen will succeed in the effort. And now, its their time to rise up from the hollow and destroy Canterlot and Celestia. This whole time, I pretended to be Princess Luna. I was at Celestia's side secretly listening for the right time to strike. And now all shall fall before the Locust Horde,” Nightmare Moon said.

“Your pure evil!!! When I tell Celestia about who Luna really is, you wont stand a chance!!!”

“Yes I guess I wouldn't but the odds of that happening are very slim. You see, you are going to be my slave and you shall be my personal servant for your whole entire life. You may never find your true love ever again now. I'm sorry but this is what it has come down to,” Nightmare Moon said.

“No I wont! I will Never be your slave! EVER!!!” He said.

“Oh I know that you will think other wise. You see, I will make you be my slave, even if that means if I have to break you,” Nightmare Moon said with an evil grin on her face.

Axe then was getting afraid. He knew that now he was going to get tortured unless he would be Nightmare's slave.
