I’ve been overhearing everypony talking about this Krastos stuff. Everywhere I go I feel like there’s this dark cloud hanging over me. I don’t feel safe anymore.

I’m not supposed to have it but I saw the list of some of those killed by Krastos. Some of them, actually a lot of them, were my fillyhood heroes. I’m just a farmer. Most of us are just normal ponyfolk. I can’t do anything.

But I know you can. You humans are warriors right? You’ve fought many wars. You know how to fight. You’re good at it. It was because of that that I was scared of your warriors when I first saw them but they really are good people. We need your help. We can’t stop Krastos on our own.

Every human I have talked to reassures me that they want to stop Krastos. How do I know they aren’t lying? Rumors are going around that you’re planning on leaving.

Please don’t tell me you’ll leave us. Please tell me you’ll stay or at least take me with you. I’m an employee of Armor Incorporated too right? The company policy is to protect its employees. You’re not evil. I know you’re not. Please stop Krastos. We’ll do everything we can to help. Please help us.

Calm down. Fear is making you irrational. You are too quick to abandon your home. No decision has been made yet.

Regarding company policy: Armor Incorporated does protect its employees with all of its power. Throwing those same employees into battle against an entity like Krastos would be against that policy. Similarly, destroying the company property and its supporters in a war would affect other stakeholders. No policy would approve of dragging humanity into a war that does not need to be fought.

Regarding your statement of humans as warriors: Perhaps there has been a miscommunication about human culture. Compared to Equestrian Equines, humans are much more likely to engage in war or other acts of violence. Humans are naturally more capable warriors. This does not mean all humans are warriors. In truth, most humans are not. The Human Expeditionary Force consists of an unusually high number of soldiers and guards for protecting the staff against unknown hostiles. Understandably, this may give you the wrong impression.

Armor Incorporated was expecting dragons or other magical creatures. They were not expecting to fight god-like entities, which is why they are evaluating the situation to see if they are capable of doing anything meaningful for a reasonable amount of effort.

Rest assured, you are a company employee. They do not plan on going back on their contracts however informal they may be.
