Eder was very intrigued by the cards that Babs Seed gave him. “Hmm, these cards are special. It has everything I’d want to know about who each pony is.”

“Exactly, everypony is famous and popular, even the one that made the cards.” Said Applebloom.

Eder took a look at card #50, and checked the information from behind. "The Shepherd of Fire, a legend that changed the history of Equestria forever. This stallion fought during the last day to the Great War of Equestria against Discord before his days of Chaos began. Duing the fight, he stood alongside 5 ponies that helped him bring an end to the war. A few months after the war had ended; the Shepherd of Fire had suddenly vanished. Many assumed he returned to his home, others assumed that he had died. No one know exactly for sure what happened, but to this day he is remembered by many as a hero to Equestria."

Applebloom stopped to take a look at the card. “Oh, the Shepherd of Fire, Applejack once told me about him, she never quite mentioned who he was.”

Eder flipped the card to take a look at the picture of the stallion. He couldn’t quite make out who it was at first, but as he took a closer look, he saw who it really was. “My brother?!”

Applebloom looked at Eder in confusion. “Huh? Your brother?”

Eder showed the card to Applebloom. “My brother Star Blade, he’s the Shepherd of Fire.”

Applebloom gasped in shock when she heard this. “Star Blade?! I can’t believe it!”

Eder continued to stare at the card. “Me neither. But… how is this possible? My brother being the one who defeated Discord during that war… It’s hard for me to believe.”

“Well he is friends with my big sister and her friends. Maybe you aught ‘a ask them about him. I’m sure they know a lot more than me.” Said to Eder as they continued walking.

“I hope so…” said Eder as he looked away from the card.

“Speak of the devil, there’s my sis right there!” said Applebloom as she caught sight of her sister with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy by her side.

Eder gave a nice greeting to the three ponies. “Hello mares, good to see you all.”

Pinkie Pie was very ecstatic to see Eder. “OMIGOSH! It’s Eder the red alicorn! Ohhhh I just want to hug him and tickle him and hug him some more and tickle him some more!”

But Applejack stopped her just before she could reach him. “Calm down Pinke. There’s a time and a place.”

Applebloom walked up to Applejack. “Big sis, Eder has somethin’ that belongs to us.”

Eder then took out the knife and gave it to Applejack. “Bolty stole it from your family and tried to kill me with it. So I thought I’d give it back.”

Applejack took the knife from Eder. “Hey thanks, I was looking for that thing. I use it to cut the apples for Granny Smith’s famous apple pie!”

“So, I heard that Eder is gonna be Twilight’s first student.” Said Rainbow Dash, who was laying on a cloud in the sky.

This surprised the three mares, who didn’t realize she was there. “That’s right, I bet he will be a great student for her.” Said Applebloom as the rest of the mares clapped to Eder.

“Congrats Eder, we wish you good luck with Twilight.” Said Applejack after she stopped clapping.

The red alicorn then saw Fluttershy, and immediately blushed upon seeing her. “Hey Flutters, something wrong?”

Fluttershy turned to Eder nervously upon hearing him. “Oh um, n-nothing Eder. It’s just that… I feel a little… strange… when I talk to ponies.”

“She’s always like that Eder” said Rainbow Dash, putting her arms behind her head as she laid comfortably on her cloud.

Pinkie gave a big smile as she noticed Eder blushing. “Ohhhhh, I think Eder has a crush on Fluttershy.”

From that moment, both the shy Pegasus and the red alicorn were surprised of what Pinkie Pie said.

“Are you saying… Eder l-l-likes me?” said Fluttershy, feeling more nervous than Eder.

Eder didn’t want to admit it. “W-what are you talking about Pinkie?”

“I can SEE right in those eyes of yours and see that you must have some affection for Fluttershy,” said Pinkie Pie.

Applejack giggled as she watched how Eder was blushing because of what Pinkie said to him. “I guess he has some good looks for mares like Fluttershy?

“W-what? I never said that.” Said Eder, who was blushing so hard he looked like a raspberry.

“WELL is it true that you love her?” said Pinkie Pie.

Eder couldn’t stop feeling nervous and couldn’t stop watching Fluttershy. He tried to keep quiet, he didn’t want to talk about that.

“Um, Eder? It’s okay… I don’t mind if you really…love me.” Fluttershy said to Eder, in hopes of making him feel better.

The red alicorn took a deep breath upon hearing this, toughening up as he prepared to say those words to her. “I do.”

“Good job lover boy.” Said Applejack as she patted Eder on the back.

Fluttershy giggled seeing how shy Eder was when he said that. “You’re the cutest pony I’ve ever met Eder.” She came close to kiss the red alicorn’s cheek, and he blushes and fainted with a smile on his face. “Oh my godnesss, a-are you okay Eder?”

Rainbow Dash flew from her cloud toward the passed out red alicorn. “We better take him to the hospital.”

Sometime later, Eder was recovering slowly after he fainted. “He’ll be fine. I’ve never met a pony that passed out like that.”

“Huh? Is that you, Spike?” say, Eder as he got up.

“Girls! He’s getting up.” said Pinkie, getting all excited .

“Feeling better, darling?” said Rarity, watching Eder get up.

The red alicorn nodded, he still felt dizzy before passing out.

“Umm, Eder?” say Fluttershy, nearvous and worried that Eder will be bad from the kiss.

“What is it, Flutter?”

And then the yellow Pegasus gave Eder her bunny, Angel. “I suppose you will need a company from my little pet.”

Eder didn’t have words to describe about how friendly the Manes 6 was to the red alicorn.

“Eder, you have shown us that you’re like your brother, Star Blade, and we’ve shown you how friendly we are.” Said Twilight, smiling to Eder.

It wasn’t long for Eder to remember what Dukes told him. “Twilight, I have to tell you something!”

Twilight turned around and saw how surprised Eder was. “What’s the matter Eder?”

“A mysterious black unicorn told me that 2 villains were about to conquer Equestria, and were about to do something evil to you and your friends!” said Eder.

The purple alicorn and her friends all gasped from what Eder told them. “2 villains will conquer Equestria?!”

“If someone even tried to mess with my friends, they have to mess with me first!” said Dash, feeling brave.

“Oh my, look at the time. We’d better get to the Town Hall, we have to start Equestria’s global anniversary!” said Rarity.

“Well Eder, you have to stay here until you get better.” Said Twilight.

And so the Mane 6 and Spike left Eder alone on the room. “I can’t stay here, I must warn to the town.” Said Eder as he got out of his bed and out the door.

The just as the Mane 6 were walking to the Town Hall with Eder following them, the Princess of Eternal Night & Queen of the Changelings appeared on the roof of a afternoon’s day.

“Look at Twilight and her friends. They don’t even know what to expect!” said Nightmare Moon, watching the Mane 6 running with a smile on her face. She was ready to start her operation.

“Indeed, and our minions will take care of the other citizens!” said Chrysalis, giggling with evil.

The two then saw Eder running towards the Town Hall, and then Nightmare Moon remembered something before she transformed again.

PRESENT TIME

“Don’t leave me please. You never left my brother, but what about me?” said Eder.

“Brother? That red alicorn is… Star Blade’s brother?!” said Nightmare Moon as she exploded with anger.

“Wait, who is that pony? And who is Star Blade?” Chrysalis questioned as she still watched the red alicorn run.

Nightmare Moon was still angry as she explained to Chrysalis, “Star Blade is a friend to the Mane Six that stood by their side long before I transformed again. He helped them fight evil using the Element of Leadership, a seventh Element of Harmony that Celestia kept hidden just like the Element of Love.”

Chrysalis quickly looked at Nightmare Moon in shock. “Wait, there’s a seventh Element of Harmony?! We need to destroy it!”

“Well that Element doesn’t matter to us. Three months ago he left this time to stop a paradox from spreading on the Day of the Descension. Not just that, but he took the Element of Leadership with him. What a fool!” said Nightmare Moon as she calmed down.

“I see.” Said Chrysalis as she looked at Eder as he ran. “But what about this pony? You said he’s Star Blade’s brother. Will he be a problem?”

“I believe he harnesses the Element of Love.” said Nightmare Moon as she began to get furious again. “But that’s doesn’t matter.”

“How can that not matter? If he’s this “Star Blade’s” brother, he could defeat us.” Said the Queen of Changling.

“As long as we have the Element of Love, he cannot stop us.” Said the princess of eternal night. “And if I cannot stop the Shepherd of Fire, I WILL DEFEAT HIS BROTHER INSTEAD! HAHAHAHAHA!

As Eder continued to catch up the Mane 6, he heard the laugh of Nightmare Moon, remembering what Dukes told him, “Head my warning young alicorn, the time is coming.”

Meanwhile at the Town Hall, everypony was awaiting for the start of the celebration.

“Ponies from Ponyville, and others all across Equestria, it is my pleasure to welcome you all here.” Said Mayor Mare to large crowd of ponies. “I would like to take this time to have our beloved Princess Twilight Sparkle speak before we begin.”

Everyone then clapped as Twilight walked towards to the microphone. “Greetings fillies, colts, mares, and stallions of Equestria. Today, we are all here to honor the very place that we have been living on for centuries. The very place we have brought our families upon. If it wasn’t for me, my friends, the other Princesses, even the Shepherd of Fire… we wouldn’t be standing here at this very moment. Today, we honor the anniversary… of Equestria.”

Everyone at the Town Hall clapped as Twilight stepped down from the stage, as the Mane Six said altogether, “Let the event, begin” But while everyone continued to clap and cheer on, Eder slammed the doors open.

“Wait, stop this!” said the red alicorn as the crowd saw Eder. “I heard an evil laugh, the time has come!”

“What are you talking about Eder?” asked Twilight. “And what are you doing here? You’re supposed to be at the hospital.”

“He is talking about Chrysalis and her mysterious helper. They’re here at Ponyville” said Dukes Rubel as he appeared between the Mane 6, with everyone in the crowd watching him.

“Dukes! You know about this?” said Applejack.

“Indeed Applejack, I told this young alicorn that Chrysalis and her associate was coming and I told him to warn you Princess Twilight.” Said Dukes as he looked to Twilight.

“But how? We defeated her at Canterlot” said Dash

But just then, the Mane 6 looked at Eder and remembered what Star Blade told them in the Afterword, that somepony close to him will be the hero of Equestria.

“Eder. You are… Star Blade’s brother, right?” Rarity ask.

“Like I said before, I’m his little brother, and he is my big brother. We always were close to each other!” said Eder, answering Rarity’s question.

“The Afterword!” said Applejack. “Eder is close to Star Blade!”

“Are you saying Eder, the new citizen of Ponyville, is the brother of Star Blade; the Shepherd of Fire?!” Mayor Mare asked the Mane 6.

While the Mane 6 explained to everyone about it, the red alicorn looked around to see if there were any suspicious ponies that would start the attack.

“Hey you.” said a mysterious member behind the curtains, getting Eder’s attention.

“Huh?” Eder followed the voice to find a Changling in disguise, surprising Eder.

“Don’t worry, it’s okay.” Said the changeling.

“W-who are you?” Eder asked the mysterious Changling.

“My name is Zeebo, a changeling and Cadence’s son.” Said the changeling, taking off his cap.

“A changeling?!” said Eder, worried that he might be a threat.

“Calm down! I know it’s odd for a changeling like me to be with a pony, but I’m not like them.” Said Zeebo, trying to calm down the red alicorn.

“What you want?” asked Eder.

“I know about Chrysalis’ helper.” said Zeebo.

“Who is it?” ask Eder again, trying to know the truth.

“Nightmare Moon, the princess of the eternal night.” said Zeebo, in response to Eder’s question.

“Nightmare Moon? I heard of her before, but why she is helping Chrysalis?” ask Eder, being concerned.

“Actually It’s the complete opposite. Chrysalis is Nightmare Moon’s helper.” said the changeling.

After Zeebo’s explanation, Twilight called Eder over to her to explain something about his brother. “Listen Eder. Your brother Star Blade was responsible for saving Equestria 3 months ago from a force linked to the space-time continuum. He was brought into the past and became a hero. He told us that somepony close to him was coming and that he may be a hero, and that is you. If Equestria is in danger, and if we are too, you are the only one to-” But she didn’t have time to explain any longer, as Nightmare Moon & Chrysalis’ minions invaded the Town Hall.

“Oh no, they are here!” said Rarity as she saw each Changling and Lunar Guard come in one by one.

“This doesn’t look so good” said Applejack.

Most of the ponies at Ponyville started to panic and ran away, while others stood forth to fight the enemies.

Twilight was looking everywhere. “Where’s Pinkie Pie?”

“Girls help!” yelled Pinkie Pie as she got captured by one of the Changlings.

“Hey, leave my friend alone buster!” said Rainbow Dash as she flew to the Changling.

“I’ll help you sister!” said Dash Jr. as he flew with Dash.

“We took em’ down once, we’ll do it again.” Said Applejack, and she got ready to fight.

The purple alicorn watched how Eder was standing there, and her imagination made her see Star Blade standing exactly the same way just before it disappeared “Eder, you have to fight with us!” Said Twilight.

“I will fight for my brother!” said the red alicorn and prepared his magic.

During the fight, Applejack was captured by the Lunar Guards of Nightmare Moon. “Oh no, they got me!”

“I’m getting tired of all of you!” said Dash Jr. as he kept fighting, but he got hit by an attack fired by a Changling.

“Brother!” screamed Dash as she got captured by ton of Changlings.

Eder saw Rarity and Fluttershy, about to be captured by 2 Lunar Guards of Nightmare Moon and 2 Changlings.

“Not them!” said Eder, as he used his magic attack against his enemies.

“Thanks for the help Eder. You’re great, like your brother” said Rarity as she got up.

This left three remaining ponies from the Mane Six. So the rest of them, Dukes, and Eder got away from the Town Hall and watched as the Lunar Guards and Changlings were attacking Ponyville.

“I will take care of Rarity & Fluttershy. You take care of Twilight young alicorn!” said Dukes, giving his brief plan.

Twilight decided to head to the Everfree Forest. ”Eder, you have to take me to the Everfree Forest, there’s a way to stop this.” Said Twilight.

“But how? Ponyville is in trouble!” said Eder as he watched the entire place being invaded. The red alicorn turned back, but Twilight disappeared.

“Looking for somepony, red alicorn?” said Nightmare Moon.

Eder looked up to see Nightmare Moon & Chrysalis holding Twilight Sparkle.

“Princess Luna! But… how? How are you like this? And why are you are Chrysalis’ helper?!” said Twilight.

“That’s Nightmare Moon to you, and that’s none of your business.” Said Nightmare Moon, giving Twilight the evil look she once gave Celestia 1,000 years ago.

“Also, I’m Nightmare Moon’s helper” said Chrysalis, watching Twilight.

Nightmare Moon looked at Eder again as she spoke. “And don’t even bother presenting yourself. I already know who you are.”

“I know you who you are too! You are the one who almost brought eternal night to Equestria!” said the red alicorn to is enemy.

“Princess, we have the last 2 mares” said one of Nightmare Moon’s Lunar Guard.

“Excellent! We’ve finally won my lord! The Elements are destroyed, and the Mane 6 are captured!” said Chrysalis, laughing maniacally with joy .

“Don’t be celebrating already, we still have one more mess to deal with.” Said Nightmare Moon, looking at Eder again.

“Leave the Mane 6 alone.” Zeebo said as he appeared next of Eder. Even Dukes Rubel appeared. “Or the young alicorn will show you a lesson.”

Both Chrysalis & Nightmare Moon laughed as the red alicorn felt insulted, even like what happen to him years ago, when some ponies laughed at him. He wasn’t like his brother… he wasn’t like the Shepherd of Fire.

“This alicorn will beat us?!” said Nightmare Moon as she continued to laugh.

“Well if he think he can face us, he made the wrong choice!” said Chrysalis.

Nightmare Moon used her magic on Eder, teleporting him to a place where he will battle. He ended up in front of the Tree of Harmony, the sacred power of Equestria located in the Everfree Forest.
