THANK YOU FOR READING. i WILL COMPLETE THE FOURTH CHAPTER IN A FEW DAYS, AND THEN THIS STORY WILL REALLY BE CANCELLED. GOOD-BYE.

No plot, just backstory. After the next... one or two chapters then... just a quick run-through chapter of stuff so I can continue my other fics with Flashing Star in them.

Flashing Star, a Human-turned-Pony, arrives in Equestria with a bang... literally. Straight into a certain cyan pegasus.

This is the story of Flashing Star, or Flash, or Star, and how she began her new life as a pony, and some of the adventures she had.

~

~This story is set in a rotating Point-Of-View, switching between Omniscient Third Person, to Flashing Star First Person.~

~This is a first Pony!Fic by 'The Author of Changing Names'. Hope You Enjoy!~

~Tag for Tragedy is just for the beginning chapters.~

~Contrary to what you may think, this is NOT, I repeat, NOT, a Rainbow Dash breaks her wings fic! Just because she breaks them in the beginning doesn't mean it's going to be about that!~

Prologue: How Did I Get Here? Why Am I... Uh-Oh.

I'm Falling. That's it. I'm falling towards a pony.

A certain pony with a sky blue body, and a rainbow colored mane and tail. As I fell I thought back to how I got here. I had woken up a day earlier, on my birthday, far from any pony. As I awoke I remembered that I was turning twenty that day, not that it really mattered to the people at work, or in the world. Yup, once you move out of your parents house and into your own house, or in my case, a flat, people stopped caring about your age... unless it was about drinking. Anyways... I got up, took a shower, yada, yada, yada. After that, I got dressed and left for work.

A few hours later, and by a few I mean 6, I was driving back home. Then, before I knew it I was home. Tired, I went into my room. I got out my laptop, as per usual after a long workday. Well, I logged on and the default browser opened by itself and transferred me to my most frequented page, as usual, which was FIMFiction. My friends, if you could call them that these days, said that I had problems. If problems are defined by something that makes you laugh, then sure I do... Anyways, I began to read. About halfway through the current Doctor Whooves Story I fell asleep.

And then, the next thing I know, I'm here, falling towards a pony, who, by the looks of it, is probrably Rainbow Dash. As I near I think I see my life flash before my eyes, but I can't be sure. Everythings all muttled... Probrably because I'm not going to die from this... But now, Hopefully, I'll survive this, and... well;

All I can say is... This is Going To Hurt. Bad.

Of Crashes, Dashes, and Other Pony-Related Stuffs (or, In Which Different Views Are Shown)

Alright... Where was I? Oh right! Falling.

As I was halfway between the sky and Rainbow Dash I realized something. First of all, that I had wings, but that thought really didn't hit me until sometime after that fatal... Encounter with Rainbow Dash's body at intense speeds. The thing that really hit me, in a way I would think to be very... How to say it... like an epiphany, was that I wasn't yet screaming my head off like one would think to do. So, without another thought, I started screaming. Not long after I started, Rainbow Dash looked up. The expression on her face would have been funny, if this weren't such a dangerous moment, and that I had enough time to think on it. What happened next, almost didn't register into my mind until it happened. Before she could move away I crashed into her with a sickening thud, and pain shot through my... well my everything, but especially my front... hooves. Yeah, hooves.

After plowing into her with so much force we crashed straight through the cloud and began falling very, very fast, due to our momentum or some other scientific term. As the ground neared closer and closer I really only had one coherent thought in my head. That thought was, 'Why Me, Why Me, Why Me?!'. And then we crashed into the ground sending one last flash of pain through my body before I blacked out.

Rainbow Dash's POV

I heard a scream and instantly woke up from my nap. I bolted upright and quickly looked around for the source of the loud, echoing scream, until I realized it was coming from above my head. So, like anypony would do, I looked up. Just as I registered that another pony was falling towards me at speeds that looked to rival my own, she was right above me. I cursed and tensed my body to get read for a colossal impact and pain. Good thing I did, too, because right as I did she crashed into me, sending a wave of extreme pain into me.

As we crashed through the cloud and hurtled towards the ground at speeds almost as fast, if not faster, than one of my Sonic Rainbooms, I had a few thoughts. They were something along the lines of...; 'That hurt so bad! Augh! (Which, by the way, I yelled aloud too.) Why was this pony not using her wings! Hell, How did she even get above me without me noticing until the last second, did she just appear there or something?'. And then just as we were about to crash into the hard ground of Ponyville Square I thought one last thing before the world went dark. 'Oh no. Not again.' and then we crashed.

Omniscient POV

Many ponies saw as the blue and green mare crashed into the rainbow one with such force then went flying though a cloud and ended up in a hole when they crashed into the Ponyville Main Square street. Many ponies heard the sickening thud as they collided and the loud crunch as they collided with the earth.

Luckily for the two ponies some friends were not far away. Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Fluttershy ran over to the two unconscious ponies, to clear the crowd and give them some air.

"Holy Apple-fritters! What happened?!" Applejack exclaimed as she took in the sight of the two broken and unconscious ponies embedded in the ground.

"By the looks of it, the faller started falling far above the fallee. I'm pretty sure we all know who was the one falling and who was being crashed into." Twilight observed.

"Don't just stand around." Fluttershy said quietly. "They need help. We should get them to the hospital before the damage is permanent... if... that sounds okay..."

"Of course, Fluttershy!" Applejack said. she looked up and whistled loudly. Big Macintosh and a large brown farmcolt trotted over to the scene. "Alright you two. Can you help carry these two to the hospital?"

"Eeyup." Big Mac replied lifted Rainbow Dash up with the help of the the large colt, and helped get the blue and green one onto the colt's back.

Together they carried off the two ponies towards the hospital slowly and carefully. They were followed closely by the three mares.

Mysterious Blue n' Green Pony's POV

Somehow my unconscious self felt an odd bump every few seconds. I slowly woke up and deliriously looked around. 'Why am I on the back of... Oh yeah.' I thought to myself and then looked a little more. 'Is that... yup.' and then I fell back into unconsciousness.

Rainbow Dash's POV

'I do not feel good at all.' I thought to myself as every bump sent a jolt through my body. Even though I went in and out of consciousness I never opened my eyes. I already knew that Big Macintosh was carrying me. He was usually the one who would do that when I had the occasional crash. I don't crash because I want to be carried by him, so don't even think about asking me anything about that.

Omniscient POV

Soon the small group and the two injured ponies were at the hospital and soon after that the two were put in separate beds of the same room.

The group sat and waited in the Lobby, bored as schoolponies during a test, until a doctor came out of the back part of the hospital and over to the waiting ponies.

"Well... The injuries on both mares are very... bad." He started, only to be interrupted by the collective gasp of all ponies present. "But! But, they are not fatal. The two should be out of the hospital in two to four days, and out of their casts in 6 to 9 days. But even then, they should have plenty of rest before performing any stunts like that."

"Well, that's a relief." Twilight said. Then she looked up quickly. "When will we be able to go and talk to them?"

"Oh, they should be waking up around now, so you can go visit them whenever your ready." The doctor explained before turning and going back through the door.

Let's Shed Some Light On The Issues (Or, A Few Choice Words)

Omniscient POV

Big Macintosh, Twilite Sparkle, Applejack, and Fluttershy made their way through the doors that lead to the rest of Ponyville General Hospital. Behind those doors they found a bustling room, with nurse-ponies and doctors rushing to and fro, some going into other rooms, and others getting supplies. The group walked to the main desk and Twilight Sparkle took the initiative to ask the question.

"Where is room 315?" Twilight asked the nursepony at the desk.

"Down the right hallway, to your left, go to the elevator, then go to the third floor. Take the first corridor that you see, then walk all the way to the end. Then turn left, and your there." The pony replied, and promptly went back to work, stamping papers.

"Alright... thank you." Twilight said and turned to follow the directions the nurse had given them.

Ten minutes later, they were inside the room, looking at their Rainbow-colored friend, and the mysterious blue and green friend.

Appledash was the one to decide who to talk to first.

"Rainbow Dash, are you alright?" She asked, trotting over to the farthest bed, near the window.

"Do I look alright to you?" Rainbow Dash asked. She was mostly in a full body cast. It turned out that her right fore-leg was broken in three places, her head was wrapped in bandages, and her right wing was in a cast, because that was the one she landed on.

"Well... no." Applejack decided after taking it all in.

Meanwhile, Twilight was inspecting the stranger's injuries.

The pony in the bed was almost as severely injured as Rainbow Dash, if not more. Her left fore-leg was broken, along with her right back-leg, her head was also in bandages and her wings were in a simple cast- no extensive damage was done to them.

"Well? Are you just going to stare at me all day?" The stranger asked.

"Oh, no, sorry." Twilight replied, getting caught off guard, "Are you feeling okay?"

"Considering my condition, yes." The stranger answered with a slight nod. "Who was that colt who carried me here, I'd like to thank him."

"Wh- oh. He's a farmhand over at Applejack's apple orchard. I don't know his name." Twilight explained.

"Oh." The stranger muttered.

"I hope you don't mind me asking, but... what's your name?" Twilight asked.

The stranger thought for a few seconds, but couldn't remember anything past landing on Rainbow Dash. "I can't say that I remember, really." She finally replied. 'This is funny...' She thought to herself, 'I can't remember anything from before today. It's just blank.'

"It seems you might have a bit of amnesia. Don't worry though, we'll figure out a name for you later." Twilight said, sympathetically.

"What did the Doctor say about me getting out of here?" The stranger, now with amnesia, asked.

"He said it would be a few days, but that you'll be out soon enough. You'll have to stay in your casts longer, though." Twilight replied.

"Well, alright then. I hope it goes by quickly..." She trailed off.

"So, you have amnesia, you don't remember your name... do you think you might have a house around here?" Twilight said, after thinking a moment.

'The Stranger' thought hard for a second. "Nope, I can't really remember if I have a house anywhere. I see some things, but they are really fuzzy, and nothing that would help with the questions you're asking me."

"Well then... I suppose you need a place to stay." Twilight said.

"If it's not too much trouble. After all, I was the one who crashed into your friend over there." 'The Stranger' replied.

"It can't have been your fault. Anyhoof, since Rainbow Dash can't fly up to her house, and you can't remember if you have one and where, then we need a big enough place for both of you to stay." Twilight decided.

"The Farm is big enough for the both of them, if you need, Twilight." Applejack offered.

"I don't know... are you sure about that, Applejack? Can you handle them both?" Twilight asked.

"Ah have Big Macintosh, too, Twilight, not ta mention a few other farmhands. Between us ah think we could handle it." Applejack said, reassuring Twilight that she could take care of it.

"Well thanks then, Applejack." Twilight replied, still a bit unsure.

Soon after having that conversation, a nurse came in and told them visiting hours were over. After saying goodbye the small group of ponies left the room and walked out of the hospital and to their homes.
