Chapter 2: A Warrior's Duty

The arcade known as Bundy's Family Fun Center is now opened with an arrow pointing to the "Arcade" place. The kids waited outside for the owner, Al Bundy a former shoe salesman, to open up the place.

After Al turns on the "OPEN" sign, he opens the door, calling, "All right, kids. Come on in and try not to bother me while you're here!" The kids comes in as he speaks to each customer. "Good to see you, good to see you...you too, pal. You're more better than the fat chicks I usually see."

The action at the game, Warriro's Duty, is under way as the soldiers march through, ready to begin their business. As the train arrives, the military men came out.

"Quarter alert, quarter alert! This isn't a drill!" A voice calls out for the soldiers to prepare themselves.

The soldiers came out, unaware of three new individuals whose smiled in. The villain grins as he exclaims, "Ooh! Sweet golden medal, yes!"

"All right, listen up. We must die or die trying to get the medal so we can help our buddy and get home!" Hoagie exclaims to Stitch with a nod. "So let's do this."

"Yeah! Stitch is ready for this! Ha ha ha!" Stitch exclaims with a mad laugh as he got his blasters ready.

"Remember, I get medal." Heavy said, reminding his friends of the reason they're here.

"Hey, weega ain't forgetting, big guy!"

Outside the game, a little girl named Lilli put in 8 quarters before pressing the start button as she picks up the gun console. While violence isn't good for a convent girl like her, Lilli needs something to unleash her rage due to the bullying she dealt with.

As the game begins, a narrator is heard as it shows a glowing building, "On an unnamed planet, a top secret experiment has gone very VERY horribly wrong."

The screen show a lot of monsters chasing the scientists who are freaking out right now.

Inside the game, the soldiers lined up, ready for anything as the voice continues, "You are the last hope for everyone."

Heavy and Hoagie almost tripped and dropping their weapons, bumping into various soldiers. They glare at the two as they pick their weapons up.

"Sorry about that. We're new." Hoagie said sheepishly.

"Ja. Rootin', tootin', ready for shootin'. Ha ha ha!" Heavy exclaims with a pleased look. Shooting enemies, it's like the man was created to do this!

"All right!" A voice exclaims as the group turns to see two figures, one of them is holding her weapon as they go up to the men.

One of them is a girl that had blonde hair with long bangs that covered her left side of her forehead, braided ponytail, and blue eyes. She wore a leather band across her forehead and faded bands around her forearms and palms, giving it a sort of boxing style. She also wore a grayish blue tight shirt with armored shoulder pads hooked on the sleeves. She even wore a red leather skirt with spikes and a pouch on her hip, with two small skull pendants on the belt. Under the skirt, she wore tight black pants, and brown Viking boots. She's Astrid Hofferson, one of the commanders.

The other figure is a creature with bears blue scales, has a long neck, stubby arms, big expressive eyes and large two toed feet. She has a black rein wrapped around her muzzle and a big floppy tuft of orange hair jutting upward from her head, matching the tuft of fur on the tip of her tail. Her name is Sylvia, the second commander.

"Listen up, because I'm going to say this once! Fear is a four letter word, folks!" Astrid exclaims sternly to the troops.

"Now if you wanna pee pee in your big boy pants, then don't tell us!" Sylvia remarkes sternly. "Time to make your mamas proud!"

"I love my momma!" Heavy shouts out, wanting to prove himself.

"Right, so do I!" Hoagie exclaims excitedly.

"Stitch would if Stitch has momma of his own!" Stitch calls out with a mad laugh.

"Heads up, First-Person Shooter is coming out!" A voice exclaims. The group move to allow a robot with a screen viewer called the FPS to come through. This thing is controlled by whatever User is playing the game right now.

"Cool! FPS bot! Beep beep boop!"

As Astrid put her helmet out and took out her weapon, the robot spoke, "Gameplay begins at 3, 2, 1..."

Soon the screen on the robot's face is turned on as Lilli is showing preparing her toy gun. Astrid spoke to the User directly, "Listen up! We are the last hope for everyone! Our mission is to destroy the Heartless!"

"Right, you ready rookie?" Sylvia ask with a smile as few of the heroes pushed the soldiers, almost nearing the bot. "Time we find out!"

Astrid got her gun ready as the door of the room opens it. The heroes looks ready...until they look shocked with terror as Heavy exclaims, "Sweet Mother of Russia/America/Universe!"

The door opens to show a wasteland that is sharp and twisted. And as if that isn't enough, there are Heartless moving around like mad, roaring and preparing to kill anyone or anything that gets in its way!

The soldiers scream, charging forward as Heavy yelps, "No, no, no, wait second, ahhh!"

"Don't be a coward, Heavy!" Stitch exclaims madly as he begins firing his blasters.

"Wait, you got point. Time to die, Heartless things!"

The group charged forth as the Heartless charge at the trio who opens fire on them. Hoagie yells out, "Oh yeah! Let's see what this baby can do!" The fat boy charged his gun at a faraway Heartless then opens fire on it. "Great day in every day of the month! I ain't letting this baby out of my sight for a moment!"

As the fighting rages on, the cowardly ones dodged the bugs with Astrid calling, "There're Heartless at 12 o'clock! Take it, newbie!"

Sylvia fires on the Heartless, wiping them out. As the soldiers and the heroes kept on firing, the cowards dodge in a panic, especially with one giant Heartless near them.

Heavy comment, "Entire enemy army is babies!" He yelps as another Heartless is preparing to attack him. "Whoa, wait, wait, wait," The villain dodges, though another Heartless is confronting him, causing him to scream while shooting like mad in the air.

"Take this, stupid monsters!" Stitch exclaims, firing at some of the Heartless.

"Careful, Rookie!" Astrid warns Lilli on the FPS bot. "These monsters are what they eat!"

"What do you..." Hoagie begins to ask puzzled. Suddenly one Heartless grabs his guns, struggling before tossing the fat boy to his pals. "Hey, give that back, freak!"

The Heartless ate Hoagie's gun...causing its arms to morph right into the same guns before it begins shooting at the group. This causes him to scream like mad, running off in horror. This isn't what they came here for!

"Stitch isn't supposed to be a coward but those guys just got a gun!" Stitch exclaims, dodging more of the shots.

"Shoot the eggs before they hatch!" Astrid orders the FPS as few Heartless begin laying their eggs, much to the disgust of the heroes.

"Aw, no! More of them are coming out of their bottoms?!" Heavy ask in shock and disgust. Heartless becoming weapons or other things are one thing, but laying eggs is too much even for him!

"Kill the eggs!" Stitch exclaims as he blasts at the eggs like mad. "Yeah, all right!"

"Okay, got my weapons here!" Hoagie exclaims as he took out his original weapons but a Heartless assaults him. "Aww, crud!"

Lilli was confused as she watch Astrid stepping into frame, grabbing the trio and tossed them back, snapping, "Fishlegs, privates! Back in formation!"

"Right, stop being wimps!" Sylvia snaps back in the game. She turns to the FPS robot as Astrid got her gun ready. "Ahem! All right, everyone. The kitten whispers and tickle fights are over."

"She's right. Now the entrance to the lab should be straight ahead."

"I will meet you guys inside." Heavy said, peeking out from behind a rock while giving a thumbs up. Even this madness is too much for him.

"But the medal could be inside!" Hoagie exclaims to Heavy. That's enough for the villain to reconsider.

"Oh yes, sanctuary, sanctuary!"

Heavy rushes over to the lab...only to gasp in horror as more Heartless came out of the lab! Not more of these things!

"AHHHH!" Heavy screams in a panic as he rushes towards the FPS and grab his pals. "I thought this game was like Gohma!" He grabs the robot as well. "When did video games become so violent and scary?!"

"When rated T games came out!" Stitch explains to Heavy clearly.

"Come on! Save me, get me out of here!"

Lilli looks confused, why is that soldier holding onto her game like that? Suddenly Hoagie spots a Heartless coming over, yelling out, "INCOMING!!!"

"Take her, take her!" Heavy yells out frantically as he shoves the FPS droid in front of him in hopes to use it as a shield.

Needless to say, outside the game, Lilli watch as the camera angle up on the game itself, whipping up to the Heartless's jaws before flipping down as if dead. A voice booms out, "Game over!"

"Ugh!" Lilli groans as she slams the gun near the holder before heading off. "Ripoff. And who are those idiots anyway?"

The said idiots are yelping the Heartless are struggling with them like mad. Hoagie yells out, "Hey, whoa! Stop, stop!"

"Get off, it's game over, stop it!" Heavy exclaims in alarm. Doesn't these Heartless know that the game is over? Why are they still attacking the trio?

"Get back to holes, stupid heads!" Stitch exclaims in alarm, ready to fight on.

Suddenly a bright light shines at the tower as a voice is heard, "BEACON UP!"

Suddenly, as if hypnotized, the Heartless begin flying off to the beacon where they blow up to pieces. The trio sighs in relief as the monsters goes off to the light like zombies. It appears that the beacon calls them to it after every game over.

"Cease fire, cease fire!" The officers calls out to cease their attack.

"Close one." Stitch remarks with a sigh as he, Hoagie and Heavy watches the beacon died down once all the Heartless were gone.

"Man; that is too dangerous for me." Hoagie remarks with a light frown.

"Attention, soldiers return to start positions. Return to start positions." The voice said, calling the soldiers to return to their start positions.

As the soldiers did so, the FPS robot, with the screen offline, look at itself while glaring at the one who caused it to get hit in the first place. Heavy gave a sheepish smile while saying, "Ja, sorry. Let me help you. I just..." The robot just swatted him away before heading off. "Well, you be upset. I understand that."

"Geez, take it personally, why don't youga?" Stitch ask, rolling his eyes.

"FISHLEGS!" A familiar voice snaps as the trio turns to see Astrid, helmet off, frowning as she and Sylvia came over. The creature is also upset too.

"Who? Oh ja, ja, that's me. Fishlegs!" Heavy exclaims as he salutes Astrid and Sylvia. "What may..."

Suddenly Sylvia hits Heavy with her tail, knocking him to the ground. As he yelps in pain, Sylvia scowls, "What are you, an idiot?! What is the first rule of Warrior's Duty?"

"Oh, I know this one. No cuts, no butts, no coconuts, ja?"

This causes Astrid to hit him. Hoagie remarks, "I get it, "no shirts, no shoes; no problem"!" This causes the fat boy to get hit by Astrid as well. "Ouch, hey!"

"Ugh! Why must Fishlegs be an idiot, next to the newbies? Listen, we do not EVER interfere with the first person shooter, understand?" Astrid snaps as she points to the tower. "Our job is to make sure we get the gamers to top of that building to get their medal."

"That's it, got it? Understand, soldiers?" Sylvia ask the trio with a frown.

"Right, right, aye aye!" Heavy, Hoagie and Stitch exclaims, saluting quickly.

"Good. Then get it right next time!"

"Quarter alert. Quarter alert." The same voice is heard. Looks like another User is about to play the game.

"All right, pussy willows, back to start positions!" Astrid remarks, hitting Heavy and Heavy as she and Stitch heads on out.

"Uh, guys. This is going to sound crazy, but I think only the Users controlling that robot gets a medal in this game, not the game characters." Hoagie said, realizing the matter here. Apparently, whoever is control the FPS gets the medal, no one else.

"What?! No one else wins a medal?! That's not right!" Stitch exclaims angrily.

"Ja, right. I ain't going through that again." Heavy said with a deep frown. He isn't dealing with those stupid Heartless. Soldiers and annoying folks are one thing, monsters like the Heartless is too much!

"Ih! Let's get medal on our own! It's in the building so let's invade it and get our medal!"

"Come on, the faster this gets done, the faster Stitch and I can get Carter to help us get home." Hoagie said in determination. "Well, unless he's lying, but he's our best bet right no!"

"Ja, so tower is where they keep medal, huh?" Heavy asks as he looks at the tower while the villain and his pals got out of the armor and outfits, preparing to get to the tower. "Time we enter tower."

"Hold you three!" A voice familiar said. The trio look to see Sev and Scorch walking up. Sev points to Hoagie and Stitch. "I don't know you two are but you are not Fishlegs. Even he's not that dumb to mess with the program! Who are you three really?"

"I'm Hoagie and this Stitch, we're what others call Users." Hoagie said introducing themselves. "And he's Heavy the bad guy of Fix-it-Hiccup and Wander."

"Oh yeah. I've seen you around." Scorch said nodding. "Well I'm Scorch and this guy's Sev, we're part of in the game last commando squad of our old unit who work with the others to stop the Heartless. So why are you messing with our game?"

"I mean no harm, you two. I'm just here for the medal in the tower." Heavy explained while pointing. "And I do not plan going through all that again to get it."

"Ih, do you two know an easier way to get to the top?" Stitch asked curiously.

"Well....best action is to climb the tower itself. We'll come with you since we know this world best to have guide as this is not safe even during off time." Sev said. Scorch nods and lead the three to the tower.

Lilli sighs as she looks around the arcade back in the real world. What else can the girl played? She hears a Japanese theme and saw the screens of a nearby racing console called "Total Drama Rush". Perfect.

"'New racers, daily'. Yes, I got next game." Lilli said, smiling as she put a quarter down, preparing to play.

However, one of the big kids knocks the quarter off, sliding a roll of the same coins while remarking, "Get lost, kid! We're playing all nine of today's racers."

"Yeah, scram!" Another kid remarks in agreement.

"Sorry." Lilli groans as she picks up her quarter. Now what will the girl play.

Lilli spots Fix It Hiccup and Wander and shrugs. A classic video game but it's better than nothing, right? The girl heads over and put her quarter in, preparing to play. As the building is put up and the Nicelanders enter the place, a familiar speech bubble popped up. One problem: the guy who is supposed to say it, Heavy, isn't under it!

"Hmmm, where's the wrecking guy?" Lilli ask puzzled. Shouldn't this Heavy character supposed to be here?

Inside the game, the Nicelanders looks around in worry. Where's Heavy? That is his cue!

"Where's Heavy? He should be wrecking the building right now." Lois said quietly and worried.

"Stick with the program, Lois." Carter said to his daughter quietly. Hopefully that moron Heavy will get back in time.

Outside the game, the Nicelanders with their familiar quote calls out, "Fix it, Hiccup and Wander!"

The mentioned two arrives, ready for playtime. As Wander snatches his hammer, they both called out, "We can fix it!"

However, the two gasps, looking worried as Heavy is nowhere in sight. They went back to smiling but inside the game, both have a worried look.

"Heavy, quarter alert, game on." Hiccup said through his teeth. What is Heavy doing?

Lilli has no idea what's going on either but she made the characters bouncing up the building...though to her, it looks like the two characters were glitching a bit.

"Guys, do something." Lois mumbles to her friends worried.

"Act natural, we will fix it." Wander said quietly to Lois.

Lilli looks freaked out. For some reason, the joystick is moving on its own! That's because the two heroes climbs down...and run off the screen! In the game, the two heroes rushes towards and climbs over Heavy's garbage pile. Something is not right here!

As the heroes check, they saw to their fright that Heavy isn't around. This causes Wander to yelp, "Oh my land! Where is he?!"

"I don't know. Oh man, not good." Hiccup said frantically. With Heavy not around, the game cannot continue!

"Mr. Bundy!" Lilli exclaims in annoyance in the real world.

Al came up in annoyance, asking, "Yeah, sweetheart, what's wrong? I was enjoying not hearing annoying complaints today!"

"I think this game is busted!"

Al took a look and is a bit bewildered. The Nicelanders, Hiccup and Wander are panicking on the screen, speaking nonsensical computer chatter. Weird! This video game never have problems like that before!

"Whoa boy. I guess the game is finally gone cuckoo...just like my granny! Ha!" Al remarks, making a joke on the last part. The owner gave Lilli a quarter as he adds, "Sorry, kid. Here's your quarter back. I hate giving money back but it's my rules that were given to me to do so."

"But what about the game?" Lilli ask in worry. Fix It Hiccup and Wander was a great game and now it looks like its busted!

"Kid, calm down! Now, I will get someone to look at it tomorrow. If he can't fix it, then it's time for ol' Heavy, Hiccup and Wander to be put out to pasture like my Granny! Shame because this game is one of my faves, but whatcha gotta do, huh?"

As the folks inside the game panicked, Hiccup does his best to calm them down. Suddenly a huge shadow appears, making them turn and looks up. To their shock, a paper with a picture of a sick Arcade face marked "Sorry, Out of Order Right Now. Check Back with Me Tomorrow" is put onto the game screen.

"Ugh, crud! We're out of order!" Carter exclaims in horror. With Heavy gone, Al must've believed that the game is busted.

"Sweet Mercy! With Heavy gone, we're doomed!" Lois exclaims in horror. Al will have to unplug the game itself, and everyone in it will be homeless and unemployed!

"They're going to pull our plug! Face it, we're doomed!" Mort exclaims in horror.

"NOOOOO!" The females screams in fear. This is the end of their world.

"Everyone, calm down! I'm sure Heavy has a good reason for not showing up." Hiccup said, trying to calm the crowd down. "Now I betcha he just fell asleep in Bubs's washroom again."

"Yeah, he did that the last time, the ol' kidder." Wander said with a chuckle. Suddenly, everyone heard a toy choo choo noise coming from the toy. "See? That must be him now."

"Good because I got words to speak with that giant nimrod!" Carter exclaims angrily. He wants to give Heavy a piece of his mind for the game being threatened to being unplugged like that.

Everyone heads to the station, expecting Heavy to be arriving. But to their surprise and shock, the push cart that's arriving didn't have him, but rather Br'er Rabbit.

"Well, hey, it's Br'er Rabbit!" Wander exclaims in surprise. "Hey, neighbor! What brings you here?"

Br'er Rabbit then begins speaking in a funny language. Carter, confused, ask, "Hey, what is he saying?"

"Hang on, my Southern is a bit rusty." Wander said awkwardly.

Wander clears his throat then speaks in the same language (though a bit badly) as did Br'er Rabbit. This goes on for a few moments as Wander is asking what's happening with Heavy. The rabbit shakes his head as he responds, the alien gasps as his friend confirms it.

"Yikes! Heavy has gone Imp?!" Wander gasps, making everyone else gasps in shock.

"Yes, 'dat's what Ah said!" Br'er Rabbit snaps, speaking in plain Southern English.

"Wait, how come you didn't say so instead of making Wander translate?" Hiccup ask in bewilderment that the rabbit should've just spoke English instead of the whole language here.

"Shucks, Ah was plum shocked o' what Heavy's doing mahself 'dat Ah got excited too. Weird, huh?"

"No! With Heavy gone, our game is going to get unplugged!" Lois exclaims in horror.

The Nicerlanders look more worried than before. Hiccup and Wander knew what they must do: they must find Heavy and get him back before their game is unplugged forever!

Yikes! Fix It Hiccup and Wander is being threatened with being unplugged! Not good. In the next chapter, Jumbaa, Pleakley, Numbuhs 3, 4, 5 and Angelilo ends up being teleported into the video game world. Heavy and his pals work on getting the medal, but their struggle with a Heartless gets them send into the game of Total Drama Rush, where they meet weird girl Gwen. Read, review and suggest!

I chose Al Bundy, the main jerk of "Married with Children", to be in the Mr. Litwak due to the fact that both are played by Ed O'Neill.

Lilli is the main heroine of the second Edna and Harvey game.
