After all this time Twilight gets a surprising letter from her former mentor begging for help. Realizing that everything that has happened to her and Spike was because of another, so now Twilight is out for blood and nothing will stop her from getting her revenge.

Deep within the bowels of the Canterlot, Princess Celestia laughed long and loud as she took the many twists and turns before coming to a lone cell filled with magical draining runes all around the room and inside there lay an alicorn, but not just any alicorn but... Princess Celestia?
"Ah good morning Tia." The other Celestia chirped only getting a weak glare from her.
"Aww woke up on the wrong side of the rocks this morning? Well I would think you would be used to it after a decade down here?" The other Celestia smiled as the one in the cell growled.
"When I get out of here I'm going to turn you into a lab experiment and see what really makes you tick." Her eyes lighting up in anger before the runes lit up making her gasp in pain.
"Ah, ah, ah. You know the rules Tia no magic of any kind in the cell." Celestia chuckled while Tia snarled at her.
"What do you want Chrysalis?" Celestia growled watching at Chrysalis changed into her true form.
"Oh why it's to give news of your little ponies my dear, especially one Twilight Sparkle or should I say The Boss?" The changeling questioned as Celestia's eyes went wide.
"What did you do!?" She screamed stumbling towards the cell door.
"I didn't do nothing, YOU on the other hoof started a world war between two nations and that of a City-State which in my opinion is the most dangerous since they don't go by your petty little rules of engagement." Chrysalis smiled as Celestia seemed to turn paler.
"YOU MONSTER AH!" She crumpled to the ground as the runes activated.
"Oh I never thought this day would come, Equestria will burn and at the head of the invasion will be your perfect former student that YOU banished." Chrysalis laughed looking at the fallen goddess.
"I would never banish Twilight, she is like a daughter to me." Celestia panted glaring at the changeling.
"Oh my such a look. Well I hope you are happy to know that your good friend Prince John Winter and even your niece Cadence have declared war on you. Congratulations Celestia! You are the most hated pony in the world at this point." Chrysalis cackled at the shocked look on Celestia's face.
"It's amazing the power you hold over your subjects Celestia, I barely had to argue with any of them before they were all on board. Well except the elements and Shining and his parents along with your sister but a few subconscious spells here and there and they saw it my way." Chrysalis laughed at the defeated look on Celestia's face.
"Oh Celestia the day that I captured you when little Twilight came running to you was amazing. The look on her face when YOU banished her while one of my changelings posed as Cadence was the absolute perfect plan. Though I didn't count on the real Cadence to come nor that fool Sombra to show back up but, I believe that even after all this time my plan is finally coming together and I owe it all to you Tia." Chrysalis smiled booping her nose and laughing as she looked through the saddle bag she brought.
"Oh and just so you can see for yourself that I'm not lying." She toss two pieces of paper to her while she grabbed them in her hooves and read.
{Dear Princess Celestia;
I received this morning Twilight Sparkle whom demanded to know if I intended to uphold our agreements made during her first visit some time ago. Shocked at such an implication I asked that she explain herself, which she did. I at first could not believe what I heard. I refused to believe the allegations that Twilight was laying at my hooves. Then she showed me the body and the recordings.The moment Shining Armor stepped off the train I had him brought before my court to hear his side of the story. He confessed to everything. I cried, and I will probably never cry again as much as I did when I ordered my own husband arrested for Treason. I spoke with my court, with Twilight present, and we agreed that there was no alternative. I must protect my little ponies. I am sure you can understand that as a ruler I have no choice in the matter. You attempted to assassinate my sister-in-law, the Head-of-State of an Ally of the Crystal Empire whom was a diplomatic guest in your capital city. You murdered one of my citizens in cold blood. You betrayed both me and my ponies that you swore to protect when we freed them from Sombra's rule. I have no choice but to declare that as of this morning a State of War has existed between the Crystal Empire and Equestria.

Her hooves were shaking as she read before she looked at the other paper.
[Dear Princess Celestia,
Let it be know that at the time of 6:00 am on the evening of August 21, the Kingdom of Solstice has entered a State of War against Equestria. Any attempt to cross into my borders will be met with extreme force. All communication between Solstice and Canterlot is to cease immediately.
I have given you far too many chances, Celestia.

Celestia couldn't believe it as she read and re-read the paper all the while Chrysalis smiled before Celestia looked up at her.
"Who did you kill to do this Chrysalis?" She growled while the changeling snorted.
"My sister Clare, the fool thought she was really in love with Twilight and was hoping to start a new hive with her inside the Forgotten City and would even go so far as to give her the Royal bite to change her into a changeling herself if she so wished." Chrysalis snarled while Celestia was horrified.
"You killed your own sister?"
"Please, she was a weakling always praising about peace and love but yet her entire hive was killed in one act of betrayal by the Crystal princess. I lost so many of my family before she came to me, broken from her torment. It was that day that I swore that ponies would pay for what they did to her, but then I find out she's not only in love with one but the very FOAL that nearly cost me my plan." The changeling growled.
"YOU MONSTER! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO YOUR OWN FAMILY!!??" Celestia screamed making the queen jump back.
"Tch, she was a traitor to our kind to even think of putting a pony in a royal position at all, converted or not." Chrysalis growled as Celestia glared at her.
"You're a monster and a murderer. My student will find a way to see through you plan, I have faith that she will." Celestia panted feeling weak from the runes.
"Oh I'm sure she will. Ta ta Tia, this cell will be your grave when the shelling starts." Chrysalis chuckled before flashing away.
Celestia sighed looking down while tears fell down her muzzle, looking into the darkness as a sob escaped her.
"I'm so sorry Twilight." She whispered before her eyes turned hard.
"I have to let her know." Celestia grabbed a piece of paper and quill that Chrysalis had left her while she was down here and began to write.
[To my most faithful student,
Twilight I know that I am the last pony you want to hear from but you have been tricked my dear student. Even if you would have attacked Cadence that day I would have at least listened to your side of the story and allowed you to prove your words. Please Twilight you must SAVE Equestria! I'm begging you come back and to the Crystal Caverns to see for yourself. If you choose to listen to me I will be in the bottom of a casam where the mining rails are destroyed.
I implore you to hold off your invasion and at least investigate my claims. From what Chrysalis has told me she put a fake contract seal on Spike before canceling it burning it into his body. If that is true then how did this message get to you?

The sun goddess sighed as she stuck her arm through the bars and began to channel magic into it as the rune activated.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" She screamed in pain just as she sent the letter and collapsed blacking out from the horrible pain.
(Crystal Empire)
Twilight sobbed with Cadence while Spike and Gilda comforted them, Cadence had just sent her husband to the dungeons while they waited for Prince Winters to arrive.
"BRRRUUPPP!" Everyone looked at Spike who was frozen looking at a scroll on the ground making Twilight's eyes fly open.
"How?" Twilight asked wiping her eyes before picking it up and reading what's on the inside before she crinkled it up and a fire lit inside her.
'It all makes sense now! My banishment, my family throwing us away without a second glance, my friends turning their backs on us.' She thought as her eyes were wide and she was panting while the others looked on in worry.
'Everything is her! Our banishment, our life in that hell hole, EVERYTHING!!' She raged as her body started to turn white while the air around her grew in temperature making the others step back.
"Twilight?" Cadence whimpered while Spike stood in front of her watching his mother begin to lose it as the ground under her began to melt.
'All this time it was her, that fucking bug took everything away from us!' She raged as her fury began to escalate as white flames flowed around her.
'I'm going to rip her apart!' She grit her teeth when a thought hit her making her eyes turn white and she screamed in fury as Spike scoped the mares behind him up and shot out of the room as Twilight's rage consumed the whole room.
A massive explosion shook the castle blowing out a small portion of the castle where the throne room was making the crystal ponies gape and scream as they saw the fireball.
Twilight panted her mane and tail were transformed into fire as she tried to calm down.
"She killed Clare. I'm going to have my revenge on you, you fucking insect, mark my words everything you ever held dear is going to burn." She growled until a small smile formed over her face.
"SPIKE!!!" She yelled and looked around to see the destruction making her go wide eyed.
"Oops." She said looked around hoping her family was ok just as Spike came running in with Cadence and Starbolt making her sigh.
"Cadence I'm so sorry, I lost control and with the letter along with what I read I just-" She was stopped by a hoof in her mouth as Cadence smiled at the mare seeing for the first time the old Twilight.
"It's ok Twi, what was in the letter?" Cadence asked as Starbolt just stared at her aunt.
As Twilight told them what was going on their eyes continued to narrow. By the time she was done power was sparking over Cadence while Spike was gritting his teeth and clenching his fist.
Twilight grinned as she looked at Spike and motioned for him to calm down as she pulled him and Cadence into a hug.
"Don't worry sweetie we'll get them, they are all going to pay for this." Twilight comforted as Spike nodded while a sinister smile crossed Twilights face.
"How bout you pay the hive a little visit? Be sure to take all your dragon friends with you, I want you to burn everything and leave none alive." She stated.
'It's one thing to mess with me but you mess with my family and friends, you're going to get burned.' She thought feeling the rage coming back.
"Bring everyone burn everthing, I want you to melt everything." She said and turned to Cadence.
"Send a message to Winter and tell him what's going on, I'm going to have a little talk with Shining." She said walking by Cadence who nodded as sparks still flowed around her while Spike took off towards the train station.
Down in the dungeons Twilight smiled as tears went down her face looking at her chained and beaten brother. She had the cell opened by the guard next to her and walked in as the stallion looked at her and smirked.
"Oh look who it is, my sister came to visit me." He growled before she took his face in her magic as a wicked smile crossed her face.
"Your queen will learn very soon that she made the worst and last mistake of her fucking life." She said as her horn glowed while Shinings eyes widened before his world went bright.
Twilight sighed as she unlocked his shackles and pulled him into a hug.
"I'm so sorry BBBFF." She sniffed holding him close happy that the spell worked.
"I'll make her pay Shining, everything she's done to our family I'll make her pay ten times over for it." She growled before motioning for the guard to take him to his chambers to rest and recover.
Meanwhile in Equestria Chrysalis bathed in the love from these ponies that they had for Celestia as Luna came in and sat beside her with a smile.
"Good morning sister, you're glowing today." Luna smiled as the fake Celestia grinned at her.
"Of course sister, I can't help but feel the love from my little ponies this morning. I think today is going to be wonderful." She smiled hearing her children laugh over the hive mind.
'Don't worry babies the next rotation will be in a few months and those in the hive will be coming for their share of the love in this land. Be sure to let your brothers and sisters know who your meals are and where they can find them.' She sent over the hive.
As Chrysalis relaxed letting the love from Luna for her sister wash over her she suddenly felt one of her pawns vanish making her smile.
'Seems they really did it, they killed him. I wonder who did it?' Chrysalis thought as she looked at Shinings memories and smiled seeing Twilight before the memory end.
'So Twilight was the one who did the deed. Such a horrible fate for the poor stallion.' She thought giggling a little feeling Luna look at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Sorry I was just thinking of some things a while that just came to me is all." She chuckled as Luna rolled her eyes but smiled.
"So sister, what are your duties for today?" Luna asked as Chrysalis shrugged.
"Same as always sister, listening to the nobles whine about one thing or another before doing paperwork for most of the day." She sighed.
'Everything is going perfect.' Chrysalis thought with a small grin.
She looked down at the small letter from Winter and Cadence calling off hostilities. Even if it was strange she figured that fighting the sun goddess was a stupid move and knew that there armies would never make it over the border before being vaporized.
Chrysalis sighed in content but something in the back of her head was telling her that it wasn't over, but she shrugged it off and enjoyed the day with Celestia's sister.
Three days later Celestia sighed as she moved around in her cell when she saw a green mist coming towards her making her eyes widen as a scroll materialized outside the cage.
[Dear Princess Celestia,
I learned today that even when times are dark and all seems hopeless, I can count on my friends to burn through the darkness.
I hope that this friendship letter isn't too late even after ten years away, I should have known that you would never have exiled me and Spike like that or that my family and friends would turn their backs on me. I hope that in time you can forgive me for ever doubting you.

As Celestia read the letter over and over as the smile on her face threatened to split her face before she started to laugh loud and hard falling on her side while tears came to her eyes. Her sides hurt from the laughter and began to caugh and hack before letting out a groan.
"What's so funny pony?" Celestia looked up and grinned at the changeling looking down at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh nothing just something I thought of from a few hundred years ago." Celestia giggled waving her hoof away before she roared with laughter making the changeling step back as more of them looked a little put off by the cackling sun princess.
"I think she finally lost it." One said watching the laughing mare who was holding her sides.
"No doubt." Another said shaking its head not hearing the thud from something landing over Celestia's laughing.
Celestia looked up and went wide eyed as the mare she hadn't seen in a decade stepped into the light.
She watched in shock as pulled a knife from her boot and slowly walked towards the group of changelings.
"See I told you, she's acting all nervous now." One of them said as Twilight charged a spell.
"Hey what's that li- ACK!" They all turned to the sound of their fellow changeling's cry of pain and saw him impaled into the wall by a crystal.
"Hope you all made you peace with your queen." They turned to see a fiery mare glaring at them with slit glowing red eyes.
"Die." She growled as they all were engulfed in flames screaming in pain before being turned to ash.
Celestia watched in horror as the little filly she once knew and her faithful student killed the group without even batting a eyelash.
As the flames stopped roaring Celestia could see her student walking through the flames like a demon.
"Princess." Celestia blinked and saw Twilight back to normal looking at her concerned.
"Twilight." The mare breathed as the mare charged up a spell before slamming it into the cage blowing a hole in it while Celestia gapped at the her. As the dust cleared she could see Twilight smiling at her.
"Well princess, are you going to come out or do you like your cage?" She smirked stepping back as the alicorn grunted and walked out of the cage. She staggered and would have fallen if her student hadn't caught her.
"You're really weak, you need to rest." She said holding the mare close to her as the first sobs hit her making her hold her tighter.
"I knew you wouldn't banish me and Spike, I should have known that wasn't you." She sobbed as Celestia gave a sad smile wrapping her arms around the mare.
"You were in shock my dear and with everything that went on and what happened to Spike, I can't really blame you." Celestia sighed holding the mare close breathing in her scent relishing in holding her student once more after so long.
Twilight cried long and hard as everything in the past ten years had been a lie spun by that stupid insect. As Celestia cooed to her student trying to calm her down as the sobs continued to rack her body.
"Shhh everything is going to be ok Twilight, you saved me and once I have my strength back I'll be sure to put a end to this matter." Celestia cooed rubbing the mares back before everything went white before the world returned to her.
She looked around and saw she was in the Golden Oaks Library making her eyes widen just as a mare walked.
"OH MY! PRINCESS CELESTIA!" She yelled as Twilight rolled her eyes.
"Listen I need you to-" She stopped and narrowed her eyes as her horn glowed before she zapped the mare watching as she turned into a changeling.
"HOW!?" She looked up to see Twilight gone before she felt a extreme pain in her head for a split second until her world grew black.
Twilight growled and trotted over to the window flipping the sign to closed and then over to her former desk.
"Twilight?" The mare in question turned to see Celestia slowly moving down the stairs towards her.
"Hold on Celestia, I need to get a letter to all my cells so they can begin to weed out all the changelings in the country." Twilight said blazing through scrolls while changing the color of the scrolls to purple before sending them off with flash.
"Your cells? What are you talking about?" She asked as the little unicorn sent the last one and held up her hoof.
"Where do you think I was for the last ten years? Hm? The Canterbian?" She asked as Celestia sat down resting listening to her student.
"All Chrysalis would tell me is that you were gone, nothing else." She sighed just as a griffon and a few ponies walked in and thumped their chests to Twilight.
"At ease, listen this is the mission. Everything has changed, Celestia will be taken to one of the safe houses for safety. She is far to weak to stand up to Chrysalis at the moment. Once you have her in safety, I want you to clear this entire town of changelings." She commanded as Celestia stared at Twilight in shock.
"What do you want us to do after that Boss?" She asked as Twilight pulled out one of her favorite cigars nearly making Celestia faint as she lit it up.
"Keep Celestia safe until I give the signal." She stated getting a nod from them.
"Make sure the towns people are safe and gather the elements and lock them in a cell in the safe house. Most likely Chrysalis has done something to them and the towns people, so only knock outs for them." She ordered as the group sighed.
"I know it's easier to just kill them but those are your orders." She stated only to hear a thud behind her making her turn to see Celestia down and out making her sigh but smile.
"Make sure she's taken care of. Derpy, Gaston, Bulk, I want you three to take her to the safe house and then tell the others what needs to be done. Thunderlane, Cheerilee, Big Mac, Lily, Rose, Daisy. You get the elements, take them down if you have but nothing lethal." She said getting a nod as she looked over and smiled at the other mare.
"Mayor, I want you to set up a town meeting once the elements and Celestia are secured." She said getting a nod from the mare.
"Oh and one more thing." She stated charging her horn and grabbing them while at the same time zapping them with a spell.
She waited for a second and smiled when none of them changed.
"Good now carry out your orders, Mac send me a letter once the element are safe and the town is in their meet. Once I get it I'll cast a spell that will show any changelings.
Once more they thumped their chests as Lyra took Celestia in her magic and flashed away.
Twilight smiled as she took the chair by the desk and went down into the basement while dragging the changeling with her. She had to get some more info on the Ponyville changelings.
Surprise
Krill woke and winced feeling her throbbing head making her groan and try to rub her head, only to find that her hooves were tied.
"Oh so you're awake." She heard a voice just as pain erupted in one of her legs making her scream as she felt it moved around.
"Now that I have your attention, I need a little information on what your queens plans are for Equestria." Krill looked up to just as a light was clicked on above her. She blinked letting her vision clear only to feel a hoof slam into her face.
"I believe the boss asked you a question." She heard a gruff voice while feeling her lifted up.
"What do you want? I didn't do anything." She whimpered only for another hoof to slam into her face.
"You heard what I said, now tell me what I want to know or this will only get worse for you." It was a mares voice that spoke to her making her whimper.
"I don't know anything I swear! I'm just a drone, she doesn't tell us anything until it time for it to happen." She cried.
"Ok then, who is in charge of this little settlement?" She asked but the changeling didn't answer as she closed her eyes only for them to snap back open.
"I can't feel them! I can't feel mother! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!" She cried as panic started to seep in.
"Simple really I cut off a part of your brain that is connected to the hive, namely, your horn." The mare stated as the changelings eyes went wide as she tried to use any kind of magic.
"So you know what that means, no contacting the queen or anyone to come and help you. Oh and you won't be able to dive into the hive to get away from the pain." She could hear the smirk in the mares voice.
"We're going to have lots of fun and getting to know each other." She said as Krill saw two red slitted eyes glaring at her.
"What are you?" She asked.
"Why I'm the one who is going to rid this world of its changeling infestation." She chirped just as a white stallion came into view.
"Now who's in charge of the Ponyville district?" She asked as the changeling grinned.
"I'm not telling you a fu-AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" She screamed as the knife was plunged into her other hind leg.
"Hm so you want to be a tough mare huh? Do you know how many little shits I've killed over the years who thought they could keep things away from me?" She asked as the changeling glared at her.
"Very well, continue." She stated as the changeling felt the knife twisted making her scream in agony.
"All I want is a little info and I'll make the pain go away." She said as the changeling slumped in the chair panting.
"You won't get anything from me, the queen has conditioned all of us to withstand torture." She panted.
"Hm I guess you're right, but what about an isolated mind from the hive?" She asked getting a shocked look from the changeling.
"Of course you haven't, your kind rely too much on the hive to even be able to live. You have grown addicted to the hive and it is your weakness." She growled as the mare stepped into the light making the changeling shiver in fear watching the mare's body begin to change as the temperature began to rise.
The mare smiled as she placed her hooves on the changeling's knees burning a hoof print in both of them making her scream in pain.
"Lets see what you know." She said as her horn lit up while Krill's world went black.
Twilight pulled back from the changeling with a small ball in her magical grip as pictures blurred together inside.
"Lets see what you have here." Twilight smiled looking at the dead changeling.
As Twilight began to sort through the memories she found what she needed making her grin letting the other memories fade away as she released her magic around it.
"Come on, lets go have a little talk with Time Turner." She grinned just as another pony came down the stairs.
"Boss we have everything secured and all the towns ponies are at the town hall." He stated getting a nod from Twilight.
"Get rid of this thing before it starts to stink. Bulk head back and look over Celestia, keep her safe." Twilight ordered getting a nod from him as she flashed away.
Mayor Mare smiled as she looked over the gathered ponies that were muttering about as she waited for Twilight.
She smiled when she saw the mare teleport behind the crowd making them all turn and gape at her.
"Twilight? What are you doing here?" Nurse Redheart asked as the mare pushed past her.
"Wow it's great being back in my old town after ten years. Though I got to admit I think I prefer my place a lot more after being away for so long. Now a few of you know why I'm here but the rest of you don't, so let me explain." She smiled walking through the crowd as they parted while she eyed each and every one of them.
"You can't be here Twilight, the princess banished you a decade ago." Carrot Top said as Twilight turned to her and smiled seeing the mare sweat and swallowed as she came closer.
"On whose orders? I don't take orders from your queen." She whispered making the other mares eyes widen.
"Mayor Mare! What is the meaning of this!?" Mrs. Cake asked glaring at Twilight while the mare smiled at her.
"Mayor Mare take a note please." She said as the mare grabbed a scroll much to the shock of those around her.
"Spike while you are in the hive be sure to save any ponies you come across before you burn everything else." She said as Big Mac came to her side.
"Done Boss." She said tossing the scroll to Twilight who caught it in her magic before sending it.
"You're bluffing!" Vinyl growled as Twilight turned to her.
"Oh, about what Scratch? Hm? You got something you want to share with the rest of us?" She smiled as the mare started to sweat and backed away.
"Let me tell you what your situation is. You are all about to go to sleep and then I'm going to cast another spell and some of you won't be waking back up." She said as she flashed onto the stage and shot a spell into the air that exploded over crowd making them all drop.
Twilight smiled and charged another spell that shot out over town making the changelings go back to their true forms as well as canceling any mind spells forced on the civilians.
Twilight smiled seeing the changelings crumpled on the ground as she grabbed the one that was once Time Turner and began to drag him away.
As she reached the door she turned to her soldiers and smiled looking at changelings.
"Kill the rest." She stated and walked out the door.
Twilight sighed as she sent where the ponies they captured were inside the hive to Spike and looked back at the changeling smiling.
"Thank you for your assistance Thrall." She said picking up and cleaning the blood off her knife.
"What are you doing!? I told you what you wanted!" He yelled while she continued to smile walking towards him as he tried to scoot away in the chair he was bound to.
"Oh but didn't you hear what I said? I'm cleaning the world of changeling filth, I can't do that if you're still alive." She simply stated watching as he paled.
"Please I have a family." He screeched as she raised a eyebrow.
"That's ok, you can meet them wherever you end up." She said as he backed into the wall.
"I'll be sure to make it quick." She said making him whimper as she reached him.
"Please."
"Goodbye."
SHUCK
As Thrall's world went dark Twilight pulled the knife from his head cleaning it again out of habit before sheathing the blade.
"Put him with the rest, and then burn it. I want you to sweep the town and make sure we got everyone." She ordered Big Mac as he nodded motioning Bulk to take the body while he went to do as ordered, while Twilight headed to the safe house.
As she walked through the street she could see her soldiers moving around with some of the towns ponies clearing out homes looking for any signs of changelings, making her smile.
She saw Octavia turn and spot her making her go wide eyed while she was escorted to her home by Big Mac who tipped his head to her.
Twilight smiled as she made it to the safe house where she saw Lyra coming out and sigh.
"Everything ok Lyra?" Twilight asked as the mare smiled over at her nodding.
"Yeah, just needed to get some air and stretch after fighting with Rarity." She said working her jaw while Twilight looked at her concerned gently taking a hold of her jaw as her eyes turned blue while Lyra let out a moan.
"Thanks Boss, for a frilly mare she can really pack a punch." She said rubbing the phantom pain a little while Twilight smiled.
"Glad to help, keep a look out while I go and have a chat with the elements and Celestia.
As Twilight walked into the safe house a small smile seemed to grow on her face as she began to chuckle before it came to a roaring laugh as she had to stop herself while she looked down at her hooves.
The world seemed to fade as she felt a wetness seemed to come up from the floor along with the screams of pain.
"I SWEAR BOSS IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN!"
BLAM!!
"I swear I never talked Ms. Twilight. HUGH!"
THUD.
"Please I have a family!"
Twilight put her hooves over her ears as the voices, screams, and sounds continued to get louder and louder.
"STOP!" She screamed and looked around to see everything silent while she still stood in deep pool of blood going up to her knee.
"What's the matter Twilight? This is you, this is what you reveled in for the last decade." A voice from the darkness chuckled as blue and red eyes opened.
"Who are you? Show yourself." Twilight demanded only getting a chuckle.
"As you wish." It said as Twilight watched wide eyed while she watched herself come into the light with a sinister smile on her face.
"Do you like what I did with the place? Everything you've accomplished is here, the amount of blood you spilled on those WEAK bastards and traitors alike. Their screams music to our ears before the sudden and beautiful silence after a kill." She laughed before letting out a sigh and smiled at Twilight.
"How are you me? What is this place?" She asked watching the other her smiled and cocked her head.
"So many questions Twilly, for starters we are in your mind. Your latest kill bought you here to visit little old me. I'm really honored to meet you. Sister." She smiled while Twilight looked around.
"Seems a bit dark and gory don't you think?" She asked while her other self smiled and clapped her hooves. The area around them changed to that of the manor back home making the mares smile.
"I have to say Twilight, when you created me I have never thought of how much potential you have and the art of killing and death you have created in the early years of our banishment. You my dear are a artist, I take my hat off to you." She smiled bowing taking a top hat off.
"So who are you, and what do you mean I created you?" Twilight asked as the clone smiled as she motioned for to the chair. Twilight walked over as the clone pulled it out for her and pushed it in while pulling out a cigar and lighting it for her.
"It's simple my dear, I was born from the hatred you have for your friends, family, and mentor along with the abuse you took from the city in the early years. Do you remember your first kill?" She asked as a window opened making her turn to see herself bashing in the griffons face with the bar.
Twilight smiled at that along with the clone of herself as she waved a hoof and the window disappeared.
"I am the you that was born from the darkness that your mind at the time couldn't handle. Do you remember the feeling of power after the deed was done and what came after?" She asked as Twilight smiled.
Revenge. Torture. Death.
The clone smiled wide and nodded showing the bodies of her former kills butchered beyond recognition.
"Yes, I was the one that took control and made this reality. I was the one the helped make all the difficult choices and I was the one to help you when the world seemed bleak and it seemed all hope was over. I am your darkness Twilight, your insanity, your hate, your pain, your sadness, and all your anger and rage." She smiled as Twilight nodded.
"I have to thank you for all that you have helped me with, do you have a name?" She asked as the clone looked at her shocked.
"I am Fear, everything that you are scared to become." She said as Twilight raised a eyebrow.
"I see, well your services are no longer needed, I can't afford to lose control in a battle." Twilight stated as Fear growled.
"Sorry but I won't go back to the darkness, I've tasted the world and the pure bliss of a kill. You've felt it to Twilight, every kill, every beating you took part in, you loved it." Fear smirked as Twilight puffed on her cigar.
"Maybe, but you are a wild card and since I'm sure you know me just as much as I do. So You know how much I despise wild cards, they are to uncontrollable. This is my body and if you are my emotions then I can easily take control of you and force you back into the darkness." She said with a bored look on her face as Fear growled.
"I'm here to stay Twilight, so you better get used to me being here." She said as Twilight smirked just as chains burst from the floor wrapping around Fear while screamed in rage.
"YOU THINK YOU WILL STOP ME, YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT ME TWILIGHT! I AM YOU AND YOU ARE ME, NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US!" She raged while sinking into the floor while Twilight got up and came around the desk ,squatting down and smiling at Fear.
"You're right I can't live without my emotions, and the fact that you have built a consciousness just shows that I can't kill you. But I can control you." She smirked as the mare sank into floor screaming in defiance.
"Fool, this is my mind. I control all in my domain." She smirked down where Fear was.
"Time to see my dear friends. Hahaha." Twilight laughed as the world around her faded away.
Twilight opened her eyes with a smirk just as she saw Celestia and her former friends come around a corner. Twilight frowned looking at them as they froze while Celestia trotted up to her with a happy smile.
"Twilight! I'm so glad you're alright." She beamed having a bit more glow to her after a while of good rest.
"Celestia, good to see you up and about." Twilight nodded to the dumbstruck mare.
"Twilight are you alright?" She asked as the little unicorn smiled glaring at the elements.
"Twilight we-" Applejack tried to say but looked away.
"I don't want to talk to you right now, to much anger with you I don't trust myself." She growled as Fluttershy flew up to her.
"Twilight, please talk to us. Will you at least talk to me? Please?" She whispered while Celestia looked between the group confused.
"I'm sorry I don't understand what's going on." Celestia stated as Twilight's gaze turned to her making her flinch at the amount of anger in the mares eyes.
"Well my good friends here abandoned me when I tried to talk to them about Cadence, but they turned their backs on me when I needed them the most. Them and my family all betrayed me." She growled while Celestia looked at the girls in shock.
"Is this true?" She asked as Twilight huffed.
"Of course it is, would I lie to you?" She asked glaring at Celestia as well making the mare glaring back.
"No you wouldn't Twilight but I want to hear it from them." She said sternly as the mare blinked and looked down.
"Sorry princess, I don't know what came over me." She said as a wing pulled her into a hug making her smile a little.
'You will never be rid of me Twilight, I'm here to stay and no matter how much you try to hide me away, I'll always came back.' Twilight heard in her head making her growl a little.
'You will regret it every time you try to take control.' She thought only getting laughter that faded into the back of her mind.
"Is everything alright Twilight?" Celestia asked as Twilight shook her head and smiled up at her former teacher.
"I'm fine Celestia, anyway I don't have time unwanted reunions. I must get to Canterlot and end this nightmare. You stay here where it's safe Celestia along with you five, it's too dangerous for you and you Celestia are too weak to even think of fighting Chrysalis." Twilight said as Celestia looked at her with worry.
"Twilight you will have to deal with a whole city of most likely brainwashed ponies and her own changelings, not to mention my own sister. There's no way I can let you do this alone." She stated firmly while Twilight chuckled.
"You couldn't stop me right now if you wanted to, besides. I think Chrysalis will be too busy to worry about little ol' me anyway." She laughed trotting to the door.
"Lyra send a message to the Canterlot cells to prepare for operations." She as her eyes glowed red that were slit making the mare gulp and nod.
"Hahaha! Oh changeling blood will flow in rivers when this is over, I'll be sure to bath in Chrysalis blood tonight for all that she's done to me and my son." Twilight laughed while trotting out the door while Celestia stood wide eyed at where her student was.
"Ok you will tell me what I've missed in the last ten years now, and you won't leave anything out. Do I make myself clear?" She growled as some of her magic swirled around her.
Exposed
(Canterlot)
Chrysalis was not having a good day at all as she felt her children blinking out of the hive one after another in droves all across the Equestria and even the hive was under attack.
"Princess? Are you alright?" One of the servants asked as Chrysalis held and shook all over hearing the cries of her children while she tried to get a grasp on the situation.
"NO! I'm not!" She screamed as the servant chuckled.
"I was wondering how long it would take you to crack. You fucking insect." The mare stated as her coat and mane changed to purple while her cutie mark changed as well while Chrysalis' eye grew wider and wider.
"YOU!" Chrysalis screamed just as the mares horn lit up and she was blasted through the wall and into the throne hall.
"You have no idea how much you have fucked up Chrysalis. So I'm going to do what you did to me, take what you cherish the most from you. Everything you ever felt love for is going to burn." She stated building magic in her horn before firing it into the ground while a dome of magic spread out over the city.
Chrysalis looked down to see her true form coming to light as horror gripped her heart before rage took her as she looked at Twilight.
"You are going to pay for this you little worm." She growled as Twilight smirked.
"Funny coming from a insect that lives in holes." She said dodging a bolt of magic that blew a hole in the wall.
"Lets take this outside." Twilight said as they both blinked out of the room just as a platoon of soldiers and Luna burst into the throne hall just as another explosion rocked the castle.
"OUTSIDE QUICKLY!!!" Luna ordered.
Outside in remains of the garden Twilight smirked with a increasingly insane smile.
"Sweet Celestia it's been forever since I had such a good fight!" She laughed dodging a bolt of energy blowing apart one the walls.
"I'm going to tear you apart just like I did with my sister! You'll be begging me to kill you!" Chrysalis screamed ducking under a beam from Twilight as she fired spell after spell while her coat and mane changed.
"BURN IN HELL!!" Twilight yelled gathering magic in her hoof before slamming it into the ground as a wave of fire exploded from the ground while Chrysalis gaped before blinking away.
Twilight growled canceling the spell giving chase just as Luna saw her disappear in a column of fire.

(Canterlot Valley)
Twilight appeared with a smile as she ducked under a beam that would have taken her head off.
"Just die!!!" Chrysalis roared only to get a punch to the face as Twilight appeared out of no where from across the field.
"You first." She grinned turning and slamming another hoof in her gut picking her up off the ground as another hoof slammed into her followed by the other. Chrysalis spat out green blood as the assault continued before she her world blurred as pain erupted from her chest.
"I'm going to bath in your blood after this is over Chrysalis, yours and your childrens and I'm going to laugh the entire time." Twilight snickered as she disappeared sinking her hoof into Chrysalis' face as she rocketed away digging a trench through the ground.
Chrysalis groaned at the pain her body was in while staggering to her hooves looking at Twilight with blurry vision.
'How is she this powerful!?' She thought staring at Twilight as she summoned her vast reserves from Celestia's subjects over the years.
Chrysalis' power increased ten fold as her eyes burned watching the little unicorn smiling at her. Before she shot towards her blurring from vision for a split second as Chrysalis caught movement to her left and swung slamming the mare into the ground with a devastating punch cratering the earth.
"Hmph. Not so tough now are you little pony?" Chrysalis asked as the unicorn grinned at her from the crater.
"Oh it just got more fun." She stated launching Chrysalis as the two duked it out in the field, each hit echoing across the valley like thunder.
Not far from the fighting Luna and detachment of guards stared in awe that the two dished out to each other. From the look of it Chrysalis had the upper hoof for the moment.
Twilight flew through the air slamming hard into the ground sliding to a stop letting out a groan.
'Let me take over, you are gonna get us killed!" Fear said as Twilight rubbed her head.
'Let me help Twilight.' Fear said.
'Not a chance, I won't let you kill anypony once you're done with the bug.' Twilight thought back dodging a bolt of magic from Chrysalis being blown away by the force of the explosion.
'Twilight, you won't live long enough if you don't let me help!' Fear roared making the hiss and grab her head.
"NO! I WON'T LET YOU!!" She screamed as Chrysalis chuckled power flowing over her.
"You know Twilight, I was hoping my little minions would have killed you while you were there in that city." The changeling said as Twilight panted wide eyed holding her head trying to keep Fear from taking over.
"Yes, it was me that led you to that city, had you humiliated and beaten every day. Imagine my surprise when you resurfaced after a year after you vanished and you were the queen of that little cesspool. Even after all the assassination attempt you only got harder and harder to get any information on." She smirked looking down at the panting mare.
"Even your stupid adopted mother figure was on my payroll until she turned her back on me and killed my informant." She smiled as the mare stopped.
"But that's fine, once I deal with you I'll deal with everyone else and finish what I started. After you're dead, I'll start with your children!" Chrysalis yelled forming a sword and driving it towards Twilight's head.
Time slowed down as Twilight lowered her hooves as a smile went across her face. She moved her head the side turning to the changeling as she passed her.
"She's all your's" Twilight whispered.
THOOOOMMM!!!!!
A massive explosion went off making their onlookers seek cover behind Princess Luna's shield as trees and other things slammed into it.
"Heh. I'm going to rip you apart and use your insides as decorations at Pinkie's next party." Twilight whispered as Chrysalis pulled herself out of a large boulder that she was blown into making an imprint of her body.
The changeling looked up and froze and blood red slit eyes of her opponent as fiery wings flapped beside her while the area around her was turned to ash.
"Twilight said that I could have you all to myself. I'll be sure to have as much fun with you as I can." Twilight stated smiling showing razor sharp teeth making Chrysalis pale.
"What are you?" Chrysalis asked watching at the Twilight in front of her shimmered before fading away.
"I'm what you created after what you did to Twilight. So thank you." Chrysalis heard behind her and turned only for blinding pain to explode in her face.
Chrysalis went to sit up only for Twilight slam on top of her, as Chrysalis spit up a glob of blood.
"FIGHT ME!!! AVENGE YOUR DEAD CHILDREN!!" Twilight screamed in Chrysalis' face as she slammed a hoof into the changelings face with a thundering blow. Over and over Twilight slammed a hoof in her face smiling the entire time as blood splattered on her face and coat.
"What's the matter Chrysalis? Regretting your decision to let me live now?!" Twilight screamed slamming her hoof into the changelings face before she was blasted off her.
Twilight flipped in the air landing on her hooves smiling at the bloody changeling queen as she staggered to her hooves panting.
"You are going to regret that." She snarled firing a beam at Twilight who cocked her head to the said as the beam shot past her exploding in a huge fireball behind her.
Chrysalis huffed as her blurred vision was failing her more as she wobbled and struggled to stay on her hooves.
"HAHAHAHA!!! Karma really is a bitch isn't it?" Twilight asked as she flashed away appearing above the changeling firing a blast into the queens back as she screamed in pain.
Twilight landed on the downed changeling and opened her mouth wide before clamping down on the queens neck.
"TWILIGHT STOP!!"
Twilight's eyes turned to see Celestia along with her horrified friends along with Luna and the platoon of guards. Twilight huffed and clamped down harder while Chrysalis let out a silent scream.
"Twilight you won, stand down." Celestia ordered as the mare let Chrysalis' head drop with a thump while blood oozed from the mares mouth.
"I don't take orders from you Celestia, I'm not your student." She said while Celestia's mouth dropped.
"I said I was going to bath in changeling blood and I meant it, she's too dangerous to leave alive, she will stop at nothing to kill and conquer us. I won't make the same mistake as you and her did, I'll be sure my enemies never come back to haunt me." Twilight said spitting out some blood before she grabbed her head and hissed.
'NO! I'M NOT DONE YET TWILIGHT!' Fear screamed as she fought for control.
"Chrysalis will answer for her crimes I can assure you of that Twilight." Celestia stated edging over to the mare as she held her head panting while still sitting on Chrysalis.
'I don't care Fear, your fun is over, this is my body and I WILL HAVE IT BACK' Twilight screamed as Fear roared in anger.
Celestia and the others watched in horror as Twilight roared in rage latching onto Chrysalis' neck and twisted as a sickening snap rang out over the area along the sound ripping flesh while blood sprayed all over the mare before spitting the gore from her mouth.
"Now you can have control back Twilight." Twilight said making them all look at the mare as her features changed back to normal getting a groan from the mare.
"Twilight?" Fluttershy squeaked as the mare spit out the blood in her mouth.
"I never counted on her to be so vicious." Twilight mumbled as she l rubbed her head. She looked at the wide eyed expression on Chrysalis' face.
"Should have killed me years ago you fool." Twilight said stepping off the corpse while giving it a good kick. She stood in front of Celestia sitting down as the princess sighed.
"For what it's worth princess, she won't ever threaten anypony again." Twilight said looking down letting a sigh escape while turning her back to them while staring down at the body.
"I never really believed that you would betray me Celestia, but I could never find anything that would prove that you were innocent. So I let myself be pulled into the world that is now more a part of me than my element." Twilight said as she looked back at Celestia with tears going down her face.
"Now after all these years everything has come to light, my own adoptive parent was hired by that insect in the beginning." She whimpered feeling a hot flame of anger rise in her but quickly stomped it out.
"What you all saw was another personality of mine, created after years of abuse and betrayals. She is my fear made manifest with her own thoughts and actions as you just saw. She's my coping mechanism for what I went through after my first kill." Twilight said looking back at the body as it began to burn thanks to the mares magic.
"Everything that happened was because of her, she deserved to die. Not stand a fair trial, but harsh and brutal death. What fear did was brutal but also necessary, Chrysalis would have stopped at nothing to get revenge." Twilight said watching the body burn.
"She was a evil being and deserved nothing but death after everything she's put me through. The only justice she deserved was a slow death while watching as everything she loved burned to the ground." Twilight said in a hollow tone as Celestia came and sat beside her.
"Do you feel better now that you had your revenge?" She asked as Twilight looked at her then back at Chrysalis' burning body.
"I don't know, I still hate her for what she did and I know I will always hate her and her kind. However, I still feel empty after I thought that killing her would have made me feel better, it doesn't ." She sighed as Celestia wrapped her wing around the young troubled unicorn.
"It will be one of the hardest lessons you will learn my student, I myself along with my sister had to learn it as well in our younger years. Though she was wicked Chrysalis should have been brought to trial and answered for her actions." Celestia sighed as the mare leaned into her.
'No matter what she's still Twilight, the little filly I helped raise.' Celestia thought feeling the mare snuggle into her.
"So tell me Twilight how did you become so powerful?" Celestia asked feeling the mare stiffen.
"That little display isn't even the tip of the iceberg. I train in all kinds of combat and ancient powerful scrolls and books I found in the old manor after I took control of the city. I never would have imagined the power I was able to control in my wildest dreams." She smiled relaxing a little.
"Why did you want to become so powerful?" Luna asked sitting on the other side of of Twilight as the mare looked down at the charred remains of the changeling.
"To fight the two of you if you ever thought to attack my home." She said while Luna and Celestia looked at the mare in shock before they looked at each other in worry.
"I don't plan to attack you as long as you respect my home and don't threaten them." She said looking up at Celestia and then turned to Luna.
"On my honor as a element of harmony and as leader of the Forgotten City, I will never use my power against you as long as you don't attack first." Twilight stated getting smiles from the two alicorns.
"Thank you Twilight." Celestia said as the mare beamed up at her teacher while wrapping her in a hug surprising the sun goddess before a smile came to her face and wrapped her in a hug.
"You know, you can always come back Twilight." Celestia offered as Twilight pulled back and smiled giving a nod.
"Thank you, but I need to make sure my people and children are safe and taken care of." She smiled while everyone else's eyes popped open.
"CHILDREN!!!!!"
Twilight giggled as they all asked her to tell them about her children.
'It's good to be home'
'Indeed Twilight.' Fear stated as Twilight began to answer any questions about her babies.
