Author's note
All right; time to begin this fanmake of the Mickey Mouse movie short. I don't own any characters minus Ben Mare and maybe some, depending on what OCs I'm using.

Chapter 1: The Show Begins

It was a huge day at the Acme Looniversary theater; The staff and actors are getting ready for a big showing that will be viewed to audiences the worldwide. As they get prepared, a blue bunny in a red shirt named Buster was reading a comic book with the title '3 Musketeers'. Buster was humming while singing.

Buster: Singing, singing,
I will be singing all day long.
When I’m singing,
There is nothing wrong.

Buster got in so much a heat of the moment that he put down the comic, jumping off the chair to sing.

Musketeers, hey!

Buster stops a bit and saw everyone else looking at him oddly. He chuckles nervously and sat back down in his chair. How embarrassing. The bunny hums as he continues what he himself is doing. Buster can't wait as the narrator promises to use his songs for the show.

"Okay, talent to the set!" A girl named Mary Melody calls out from offscreen. It's time for the narrator to be on set.

"Right, we're live in 60 seconds, nope nope!" A condor named Concodrd remarks stupidly.

"Yikes! 60 seconds," Buster yelps in alarm. He quickly leaves his chair and rush to the dressing room of the narrator. The bunny knocks on the door while calling out, "Monty! Hey, Monty! Monty, it's time for you to come out!"

"All right, all right, you stupid rabbit! And stop calling me Monty!" An annoyed voice snaps from the dressing room. The door opens, slamming Buster right into a wall with a light. The narrator, a boy in a robe named Montana Max, came out with a book. Buster recovers as he follows.

"Hey, Monty; Today is the day. BTW, remember our promise? You said that you can sing my songs about the musketeers, remember?"

Buster grabs a guitar and begins to play, singing once more.

All for one-

Suddenly Montana grabs the guitar and snaps Buster over the head with it, leaving as he laughs, "Ha ha! And more silence for me!"

"Monty, you promised!" Buster protests to Montana in worry. Figures, the rich jerk never cares for the bunny's songs at all.

"I lie, rabbit! Your songs aren't enough to be on Broadway!"

Buster groans, shaking his head in concern. The bunny was hoping for so long for his songs to be heard...but then, Buster gasps in alarm. Montana is heading towards a trapdoor...and he is too busy reading the book for the show to even notice it!

"Wait, Monty, no, stop!" Buster exclaims as he rush over to Montana, trying to stop him. "No, no, Monty; stop, wait, stop! You're going to..."

"Buzz off, rabbit! Stop calling me Mon..." Montana was interrupted as he suddenly fell into the trap door, screaming in alarm. ".......EEEEEEKKKK!" Buster cringes as he hears a crash from the trap door.

"Uh, the stage is the other way, stage left, remember; Great. What will we do for a narrator now?"

"Okay, quiet, people! Let's have some dang gum quiet!" A rooster named Fowlmouth calls out. Buster looks worried. The show is about to start but there's no narrator! What to do?!

Suddenly the book that Montana held flew out of the trap door, hitting Buster. The jerk blames the bunny for his accident and wanted to hurt him. The book hits a loose board that Buster's on, sending him flying and ricocheting onto the stage.

"5 seconds to air." A pig named Hamton J. calls out, preparing to star the show. No one seem to realize what happened to Montana. No one seems to notice that Buster fell, landing right where the brat was going to sit at.

"Cue music!" A cat named Furrball's voice is heard, starting the music up for the show.

"Okay, aaaaaand...action!" A duck named Plucky calls out eagerly. Buster looks confused and concerned. He isn't supposed to be here. Even the crew are shocked by his apparently as the duck whispers, "What's that show-stealing bunny doing here?!"

Buster looks around and seeing himself on the set. Not good, the show just started and Montana Max is nowhere in sight. There can't be a show without a narrator; it's going to be a huge disaster!

"Where's Monty?" Hamton's voice asks Plucky in concern.

"Sssh, we're live already." Plucky's voice whispers to Hamton. "We will have to go with it."

"Right, right, Buster, Buster," Hamton calls out to Buster. The bunny saw his pig calling over to him, much to his surprise. "Uh, not to be mean but can you not sit there? Can you do something or we will get in trouble with the teachers for delaying this show?"

Buster yelps in surprise, Hamton wants him to do something?! The pig continues, "You're on camera! Come on, at least say something, anything! Come on!"

Buster looks nervously, gulping a bit. What is he going to do? The bunny begins to speak, "Oh, hey there toonsters...uh..." Buster then notices something: his comic that he was reading is still on him. The bunny, no longer nervous, smiles eagerly. "Ahem! Hey! I will now tell the tale of..."

Buster shows the comic book, smiling as he continues with pride, "Ta-dah! The 3 Musketeers! This version is one of my favorites...the one with pictures...and it has my songs; and ponies!"

"Great, what this world needs. More ponies." Plucky's voice remarks sarcastically.

Buster chose to ignore Plucky's comment. He turns the page of his comment and shows 4 kids and a bunny looking hungry, eating only bean. Only 3 are these kids are ponies, the last one is a baby Dragon.

"Our story begins in the gutter itself." Buster said narrating the story. He looks sadly as he continues, "Alas, the poor street urchins known as Spike the Dragon, Ben Mare, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, are struggling to live in this harsh world."

The next picture shows the kids doing their best to survive. But suddenly, without warning, a couple of nasty Dragons grab the kids, trying to hurt or rob them. Spike tries his best to fight back but he couldn't be able to do. Ben, frightened, rush to hide behind a barrel while Pinkie just stood there, smiling a bit goofily. Fluttershy and her bunny Angel looks worried. They are no match for these Dragons.

"Oh no, bad guys," Buster is heard gasping. "Oh, who will come to defend these poor innocent foals and baby Dragon?"

It looks like all is lost...until three figures appear in determination: the heroes known as Spykoran, Slugger and Surprise appears. The bad Dragons gasp in horror as the trio fights them off. The kids gasp in amazement and hope. Those three are legendary heroes in all of Equestria!

"Yes! The musketeers had arrived, saving the day! No one harms the innocent while they're around!"

Realizing that they cannot win, the bad Dragons were forced to retreat from the Musketeers. Spike watch in amazement. Wouldn't it be great to be one of these kids? Spykoran sees the young Dragon and smiles.

"Once the dust is settled and all is done, a kind Musketeer gives Spike a gift."

Spykkoran gave Spike his own hat as a gift to remember this day by. The young one wears it...though it fell over his eyes. The hat itself was too big for his little head.

"Ha ha ha; No worries, Spike. One day you will grow into it."

Spike and his friends smile happily. Meeting the musketeers was fate. The trio begins posing with bravery with smiles on their faces, knowing what they want to be when they themselves grow up.

"And so from now on, these three heroes dreamt of being great musketeers. Someday, they will get there..."

Of course, one picture in the comic show shows the gang more older...but sad and disappointed in janitor items. Spike is now a grown up light purple with a light chartreuse Dragon with moderate sap green scales, a greenish gray underbelly and light lime ears and chartreuse green eyes. He is still small, unfortunately.

Ben Mare is now a grown up brown coated stallion with a spiky like brown mane, green eyes, a long tail and a red collar. His cutie mark consists of three golden triangles…like the Triforce in the Legend of Zelda games.

Pinkie Pie is now a grown female pink Earth pony with dark pink curly mane and tail, bright blue eyes and two blue and one yellow balloons marking on her flank.

And Fluttershy of course is now a grown a pale yellow female Pegasus pony with a long pink mane and tail, cyan eyes. Her cutie mark is three butterflies.

And while they are grown up and having a job however, the three friends, along with Fluttershy and the grown up Angel, aren't musketeers.

"Sadly, as years goes by, their dream is far away then one could imagine..."

Author's note
