All right, time for a break from making Pixar fanmakes and onto a DreamWorks second fanmake of a classic movie; Here goes everything, folks!

Prologue: Story Beginning

It was a time long ago as an adventure will take place...but no one even knows it yet. We start this story with a lone leather bound book lying in the darkness. As it opens by itself, a beautiful tune plays as someone is reading while turning the page.

"'Once upon a time in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful unicorn princess; sadly, a spell was cast upon her of an enchanted sort, trapping her in a terrible lands. A lot of brave heroes had tried to free her from her spell, but none has succeeded. And thus, the princess waits in the highest room of the tallest tower, hoping for her true love and true love's first kiss." The voice pauses then scoffs while ripping the page out, "Ha ha ha! Yeah, right! Like that's going ot happen! What a load of horse crap!"

The one reading the story was inside an outhouse in a swamp, flushing his toilet. Once the figure is done, he came out of the place. The figure is a huge light purple with a light chartreuse Dragon with moderate sap green scales, a greenish gray underbelly and light lime ears and chartreuse green eyes. His name is Spike the Dragon.

As a song begins, Spike removes toilet paper off his foot and smiles as he stood proudly at his swamp home. Nothing much, a rundown shack with dirt, rats, whatever, but to Spike, it's his home.

Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed

"JusSonic Presents"

She was lookin' kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an "L" on her forehead

Time for Spike to continue his way, he grabs a bucket nearby himself and scoops up some mud.

"Sprek"

The years start comin' and they don't stop comin'
Fed to the rules and hit the ground runnin'
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb

Sprek put a bucket on a branch then uses it to take a bath, whistling while splashing the mud around.

"Cathy Weseluck as Spike"

So much to do so much to see
So what's wrong with takin' the backstreets
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow

Spike eagerly brush his teeth with slime from a snail then shows his disgusting teeth off to the mirror which breaks.

"Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball and Andrea Libman as Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy"

Hey, now, you're an all-star
Get your game on, go play
Hey, now You're a rock star
Get the show on, get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shootin' stars break the mold

Spike, once done 'dirting' himself, eagerly jumps into the pond and swims around. The Dragon then passes gas; that did it. It's enough to kill off all the fish in there, allowing him to pick one out eagerly.

"Tabitha St. Germain as Rarity"

It's a cool place and they say it gets colder
You're bundled up now but wait till you get older

Spike smiles as he crawls out of a log, getting some dirt out to make for his meal. The Dragon is mighty hungry!

"Vincent Tong as Prince Blueblood"

But the meteor men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture

Spike heads into his house and begins work on making his meal, blowing fire right onto the fireplace, preparing for his meal.

The ice we skate is gettin' pretty thin
The water's getting warm so you might as well swim
My world's on fire
How 'bout yours
That's the way I like it and I'll never get bored

Unknown to Spike, at a local village, a mob of ponies is preparing to make plans to do the crazy as well as impossible: capture the Dragon. While Spike prepares for his dinner and eating it, the villagers got their weapons, preparing to invade.

Once the villagers got everything that they needed as well as torches, the ponies head out into the forest. While at the same time, Spike has finished eating his meal and sat in his chair, ready for a relaxing day...that is until he hears a noise making him look outside.

There're the villagers approaching the house. Spike roll his eyes, it's also one of these things. The Dragon snuck out the back door to deal with the intruders as usual.

The villagers approach the bushes that looks towards Spike's home, unaware that the Dragon is sneaking up behind them. They look nervous but determined to deal with him once and for all...and get what's coming to them all.

"Think it's in there?" A stallion ask making another nod. "Okay, let's get it!"

The stallion was prepared to head in to attack but the mob leader stops him, saying, "Whoa, hold on! Don't do that! Do you even know what that thing can do to you?"

The other stallion said nervously, "Yeah…he'll melt the flesh off your bones in the blink of an eye…he's a furnace with wings. He is Fire….he is…Death!"

Hearing that made the hidden Spike chuckles, causing them to turn and gasps upon seeing him laughing; He then remarks, "Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Yeah…you're right. Though actually, that would a reference to Smaug the Terrible…and unlike him, I can't fly…nor do I do that whole Dragon-Spell thing on anyone or any pony." The Dragon steps towards the ponies, making them gasp in fear. "Now…Dragons like me…oh we're much worse. We'll…well…yeah, I guess you can say that we'll melt the flesh off your bones in the blink of an eye…we'll use your skeletons as backscratchers…squeeze the blood from your veins. Actually it does make an excellent wine now that I think about it.

The mob leader frantically swings his torch at the Dragon, yelling, "Stay back, back, monster; Get back! I warn you!" Spike on the other hand, just roll his eyes, licking a claw then use it to put the torch off, making them gasps. "Oh...right. Stupid."

Well, may as well get this over with. Spike roars loudly causing the village mob to scream loudly. The Dragon pauses, waiting for a moment until they stop screaming, shivering in fear. He loves doing this to the local ponies that invade his turf.

Spike begins whispering, "This is the part, where you run away like a bunch of frightened fillies. Hmm," That did it, the stallions scream in fear and runs off with a scream. Spike laughs madly. He loves doing this, "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! And don't let me catch you near my property again…got it?"

Spike laughs some more, looking amused. He ponders why those ponies were even thinking, coming into his swamp. Just then, the Dragon spots a piece of paper on the ground that he picks up. One of the mob members must've dropped it. It has a picture of an ape on it.

"'Wanted: Mythical Monsters, Aliens, Heroes, or Anything Count As Imperfect'?" Spike asks puzzled. So that's it. Those ponies came to capture him to collect on a reward of some kind.

Spike however sighs, rolling his eyes as he throws the parchment onto the ground to head back into his shack. After all, this doesn't concern the Dragon anyway, right?

Spike doesn't know it yet but it's going to involve him whatever he wants it to or not!

Well, that Spike's beginning. Whatcha think? In the next chapter, as the mythological creatures, aliens, etc. are being captured and turned in, five ponies escaped and meet Spike for the first time. Read, review and suggest.

Chapter 1: Spike and the Mane Five

"All right, this one is full, take it away!" Someone is heard shouting the next morning. A whip snaps as prisoners are in a caged stage coach, being taking away.

It was a sad day as a bunch of creatures, Aliens, legendary beings, etc. is lined up in chains. By the order of Prince Blueblood, the ruler of DuColt, everything alien, legendary, monster, etc. are to be rounded up and exiled from their homes. He sees anything different from him to be a freak!

"Move along, come on, get up!" A guard snaps, forcing the apes in chains to move along.

During this time, the head of the guards, Razoul, wrote on the checklist of the creatures turned in so far. Villagers are lining up with those they have captured, hoping for a big reward for doing so. It is a sad day for any 'not so normal' being in the land.

"Next!" Razoul orders a bit.

In line is a woman named Old Lady, holding five ponies by ropes. One of them is an Alicorn with a pale, light grayish mulberry coat, moderate violet eyes, a mane and tail that were both moderate sapphire blue with moderate violet and brilliant Rose streaks and a magenta colored star Cutie Mark. Her name is Twilight Sparkle.

The second pony is an orange female Earth pony with green eyes, blonde mane and tail, both in a ponytail, wears only a cowboy hat and has three apples marking on her flank. Her name is Applejack.

The third pony is a female pink Earth pony with dark pink curly mane and tail, bright blue eyes and two blue and one yellow balloons marking on her flank. Her name is Pinkie Pie.

The fourth pony is a pale yellow female Pegasus pony with a long pink mane and tail, cyan eyes. Her cutie mark is three butterflies. Her name is Fluttershy.

The last pony is a light blue female Pegasus pony with a rainbow mane and tail, pink eyes and a marking of a cloud and a rainbow shaped lightning bolt on her flank. Her name is Rainbow Dash.

The ponies look scared as they were captured by a villain that they have gotten in the way of once too often and is simply trying to get rid of them without caring about the money. The five gulps as a guard fights a witch for her broom.

"Give me that!" A guard snaps as he grabs the broom and snaps it in half, "Your flying days are over!"

Razoul gives out coins to the villager who turned in the witch, saying, "All right; 20 bits for the witch. Next!"

While Razoul wrote the witch down in a notepad, one guard shoves a Pokémon, snapping, "Get up! Come on!"

"Oh dear, this isn't happening, this isn't happening." Fluttershy whimpers a bit, scared.

"It's okay, we can escape." Twilight whispers. "Of course, with this rope keeping my magic in check in place..."

As Razoul was given another creature, he adds, "5 Bits."

The Mane Five saw a group of yellow family members known as the Simpsons trapped in a cage each. Bart groans, "Man, this bites! This cage is too small!"

"Tell me about it." Lisa groans a bit. Why is this happening?!

"Don't turn us in!" Pinkie whines a bit to the Old Lady. "Come on, I will never be annoying again! I can change, really! Give me and my friends another chance!"

"Oh shut up, you pink doofus!" The Old Lady snaps to Pinkie in annoyance, jerking the rope and almost choking the ponies.

"Stupid witch," Rainbow growls a bit. "I would've shown you what for!"

"Next!" Razoul snaps impatiently. An old man named Max Tennyson came up with a little boy wearing a device on his arm called Ben Tennyson. "So what do you got?"

"This boy who can change forms through his device," Max Tennyson explains to Razoul. He didn't want to turn his grandson in but the old man was forced to do so.

"Hey, I don't transform into aliens, really!" Ben insists, slamming a fist onto the ground. However, his Ominitrix went off, turning him into Four Arms. He yelps and quickly changes back. "Oops."

"That's 6 Bits for the alien boy." Razoul said, giving out bits to Grandpa Max. The guards seize the Ominitrix and took Ben away. "Take him away."

"Grandpa, please, no! Don't let them do this; Help!"

Ben struggles as he was taken away. Grandpa Max frowns as he remarks, "I hope your prince Blueblood is happy! He and you goons made me give up my grandson."

"Better that than in prison, old man. Next!" Razoul snaps, making the old man leave with the money, feeling sorry. The Old Lady shoves the Mane Five near the desk. "Now what do you talk?"

"I got these five talking ponies, one of them is an Alicorn; two of them are Pegasi!" The Old Lady explains to Razoul eagerly.

"Right...well, that's good for 3 Blue Bits...if you can prove it."

"Okay, go ahead, freaks."

The Old Lady removes the ropes from the Mane Five, eagerly hoping for them to talk so she will get rid of them and her money's worth. The ponies however refuse to talk or do any magic whatever. They just look away, upset or nervous.

"Well?" Razoul ask the Old Lady impatiently.

"Err, they are just nervous. Yeah, one of them is quite a talker." The Old Lady said nervously as she grabs Pinkie then snaps angrily to her. "Come on; Talk, you stupid Earth freak!"

"Okay, I've heard enough; Guards!"

"Wait, wait, they can talk, really!" The Old Lady quickly grabs Pinkie by the mouth, trying to make her talk...though the villager's impression is very badly and no one, not even Razoul, is fooled or amused by this. "Oh, I can talk! Okie dokie lokie! I love to! I'm the talkingest silliest thing you ever saw!"

"...get her out of my sight." Razoul remarks dryly. The guards seize the Old Lady and took her away.

"Wait, wait! I mean it! Those ponies can talk, use magic and fly! Honest!"

During the mad struggle, the Old Lady kicks a cage that held a Breezie named Seabreeze out of the hands of a pirate named Jack Sparrow, causing it to fell onto Applejack. Dust spreads right onto the ponies, causing them to fly up into the air.

"Hey! Ah can fly!" Applejack exclaims eagerly.

"So can we!" Fluttershy exclaims eagerly.

"They can fly!" Jack Sparrow exclaims in amazement.

"Coco!/They can fly!" Three imaginary friends named Coco, Wilt and Eduardo exclaims, though Coco can only say her own name, while being held by a shocked villager.

"They can talk!" Razoul exclaims in shock. So the Old Lady was right!

"Yeah, that's right, meanie pants!" Pinkie taunts in amusement at the shocked Razoul. "Now I'm a flying talking Earth Pony and so is Applejack! My other friends can fly naturally! You might see pigs fly, maybe a housefly, but I betcha you haven't seen a Pinkie fly; Ha ha ha!"

"Pinkie, look out! The dust is..." Twilight begins to say, but it's too late. The dust wears off, much to Pinkie and Applejack's alarm and notice. Not good!

"Horse apples," Applejack groans as she and Pinkie fell to the ground with yelps. The ones with wings stay up before landing on the ground.

"Luckily we can fly." Rainbow remarks with a shrug.

"Shut it."

"Seize them!" Razoul orders the guards who begin trying to catch the Mane Five. They quickly flew/jump out of the way making two guards hit each other on the head. As the gang flees from the guards, they crash into a cage and it opens. A look alike of Pinkie dashes out and grabs a Brown Alicorn, dashing to the left knocking out some guards as well, "After them!"

"Let's get out of here, girls!" Twilight exclaims as the ponies run out into the woods with the guards in hot pursuit.

"They're getting away, get them! This way, turn!" The guards shout as they chase after the ponies. Will they ever escape?

Suddenly the five ponies bump into something, falling downward. To their alarm, in front of them is a familiar Dragon who is putting up a 'Keep Out' sign when they bumped into him, making Spike turn around to glare at them.

Fluttershy gulped, looking scared, "Oh dear."

"Oh great," Applejack mumbles, seeing the guards coming up the path, making her and the others hid behind Spike.

As the guards arrive, they look startled upon seeing Spike. Razoul spoke up, "You there...Dragon!"

"Yeah," Spike asks Razoul who took out a piece of paper, rolling out a bit. As the head guards read it, he got nervous as Spike goes up to him, rising up a bit.

"By the order of Prince Blueblood, I am authorized to place you and the ponies under arrest, to transport you all to a designated...resettlement...facility?"

"Is that so; you and what army of yours?"

Razoul turns around, expecting his men to back him up...but to his shock they run off, leaving their weapons behind. The head guard chuckles nervously to Spike...then yelps as he runs off after them like mad. Spike laughs as Razoul flees like a coward.

Pinkie giggles happily, "That's funny! They run off!"

"Yeah," Rainbow said with a smile. The ponies saw Spike leaving then follows him. The Dragon did a great thing in chasing those guards off. "Hey! Wait up!"

"Can we say something to you? Listen you are really, Super Duper something back there!" Pinkie giggles as she bounces while following Spike, much to his annoyance, "Very incredible!"

"Hey, are you talking to..." Spike begins to say as he turns to confront the ponies. But to the Dragon's surprise, Pinkie is gone. "Me?" When Spike turns back around, he yelps in fright as Pinkie appears in front of her as if by magic.

"Right; I was talking to you! Can I tell ya that you were great back there!"

"Got 'ta say, sugar cube, those guards think they were so all 'dat." Applejack remarks with a smirk. "But yew showed them and...bam! They were tripping over themselves like foals in 'de woods."

"Right, it was nice." Fluttershy said with a smile. "It makes me feel good to see someone helping folks scare off bullies like that."

"Right, great, really." Spike remarks in annoyance. Perhaps it was a dumb mistake to save these ponies.

"Thanks for helping us out, sir. I would've use magic but we were outnumbered." Twilight admits as she and her friends stretch a bit. "It's not right for that to happen."

"Right, feel so good to be free!" Pinkie giggles happily while stretching a bit.

"Glad to hear that, so why don't you celebrate your freedom with the rest of your own friends?" Spike asks the ponies impatiently then heads off.

"Err, we would...but we don't know where our other friends are at."

"Right, besides them, we don't have any other friends." Rainbow remarks in concern while looking back. "And as much as I hate to sound like a coward, no way are we going out there by ourselves with those jerks looking for us."

"Right; we need 'ta find a place where we can be safe fer a while." Applejack said in concern.

"Wait, I got an idea!" Pinkie exclaims happily as she bounces after Spike eagerly. As the rest of her friends follow, the pink pony continues, "We will stick with you, big guy! You are a mean, purple fighting machine! Why together, we will scare the spit out of anyone who tries to get us!"

"Well, it would be great to have a new friend and ally." Twilight said to Spike who roll his eyes while stopping, "So how about it?"

Spike then roars loudly at the ponies, trying to scare them off. While Fluttershy seems a bit frighten, the rest of the pony just stares a bit, shaking their heads.

"Dang, 'dat's scary, big sugar cube, if yew don't mind me by saying so." Applejack admits. Spike groans, his roaring didn't do the job. He heads off, trying to get away from the ponies. "An' hay, if 'dat doesn't work, yer breath will git 'de job done fer sure!"

"Right, you definitely need some breath mints or something. Your breath stinks!" Rainbow remarks to Spike with a hint of disgust in her voice.

The Mane Five saw Spike heading off; they got to catch up to him. Pinkie does so first, appearing in front of him from a log, hanging upside down to the Dragon's surprise as she comments, "You almost burned the hair from my nose! Reminds me of the time when..." Spike in annoyance covers Pinkie's mouth, but she kept on talking. After a while, he removes his claws. "...then I ate some bad cupcakes. Wow, made some strong gases out of my flank that day."

"Don't ask please, really." Twilight said to Spike as Pinkie bounces off the log. "It's rather...unpleasant."

"Why are you five following me?!" Spike snaps angrily to the ponies. Don't they even know what the five are dealing with here?!

"Oh, let me tell you why..." Pinkie said with a sad sigh.

"Oh dear, here it comes." Fluttershy said as Pinkie begins to sing.

Pinkie: Cause I’m all alone.
There’s no one here beside me.
My problems are all gone,
There’s no one to deride me.
But you gotta have fait-

"Stop singing!" Spike exclaims annoyed, picking Pinkie up by the tail. "No wonder your other friends aren't here."

"Well, yew is a true friend...sort o'." Applejack said thoughtfully. "Ah mean, only a true friend could be 'dat cruelly honest; unfortunately."

"Look, ponies! Look at me! What am I?!"

"Uhhh..." Fluttershy said puzzled as she and her friends look up at Spike for a moment, "Really tall?"

"No! I'm a Dragon! The fire breathing kind! As in 'grab your torches, pitchforks, and swords'!" Spike explains in annoyance. "I mean, doesn't that bother you?"

"Well...no, not really. I mean, you aren't really big and mean like other Dragons that scared me. You look rather...nice."

"Right, doesn't bother me any nor the rest of us," Pinkie explains to Spike happily.

"Really," Spike asks the ponies in surprise. None of the ponies are even bothered by the fact that there's a Dragon in front of them?

"Really really," Twilight said with a smile. "After all, you may be nasty looking on the outside but I betcha you are nice on the inside."

"Oh."

Pinkie giggles as she said, "I like you…My name's Pinkamena Diane Pie…but my friends call me Pinkie. And these are my friends."

Twilight introduces herself next to her new friend, "I'm Twilight…Twilight Sparkle."

"Name's Rainbow Dash," Rainbow remarks, pounding her hooves in the air.

"Howdy…name's Applejack." Applejack comments while tipping her hat to the Dragon.

Fluttershy quietly said, "Fluttershy."

"Huh? What was that? I can't hear you." Spike said to Fluttershy, not quite hearing her.

Fluttershy a little bit louder respond, "Fluttershy."

"I still can't--."

Fluttershy scream at the top of her lungs, surprising even Spike, "FLUTTERSHY!"

"Ow! That really hurt my ears!" Spike exclaims, rubbing his ears out in the alarm to get rid of the noise.

Fluttershy calming down apologizes meekly, "Sorry."

"So…what's your name?" Pinkie ask Spike curiously.

Spike awkwardly shrugs, saying, "I'm…uh…Spike."

"Spike?"

"Well, you know what we like about ya?" Rainbow asks as the ponies follow Spike over a hill that is front of her home. "You got that kind of 'I don't care what other ponies think of me' kinda thing. I really like and respect dude, Spike. You're all right."

The ponies stop walking, finally arriving at Spike's home in the swamp. Pinkie remarks in disgust, "Wow! Check that out. Who wants to live in that mucky place?"

"That happens to be my home." Spike remarks, offended by Pinkie's remark.

"Oh, and it's quite lovely." Twilight said quickly, not wanting Spike to get angry for Pinkie's remark. As the Dragon heads onward, she continues, "Beautiful. You got quite the decorator. Amazing what one can do with a modest budget."

"Yes. It's nice. Yay," Fluttershy comments as she smiles at a boulder. "Oh, I like that boulder. It's nice too."

Spike goes by a couple of 'Keep Out' signs. Applejack glances at the signs, commenting, "Ah is going 'ta take a guess an' say yew don't entertain much?"

"I like my privacy, AJ." Spike remarks to Applejack with a frown.

"Yeah, you know, so do we!" Pinkie giggles, bouncing up and down. "You know, that's another thing we all got in common. "Like I reaaaaalllly don't like it when you got somepony in your face, you're trying to give them a hint and they won't leave, and there's that big awkward silence that happens!"

"Err, Pinkie?" Rainbow asks Pinkie awkwardly. Sure enough, Spike glares to the ponies and the big awkward silence happen...just as Pinkie said it could.

"So...how about it; can we stay with you?"

"Wait, what?" Spike asks startled and surprised. Is this pink pony wanting her and her friends to stay with him?

"Can any of us stay with you please?" Pinkie asks Spike, giving out a big smile.

"Oh...of course."

"Really?"

"No!" Spike snaps to Pinkie in annoyance. He was being sarcastic! Can't this pink pony take a hint?

"Pinkie, I don't think it's a good idea to just ask him when he doesn't want us to live here." Twilight said to Pinkie in concern.

"Awww, Twilight! He got to let us in! I mean, we can't go back out there! He doesn't know what it's like to be considered a freak!" Pinkie whines a bit. Of course, she glances at Spike who clearly knows what that's like. "Okay, maybe he does! But that's why we gotta stick together!"

"Pinkie got a point, Twilight." Applejack said in concern. "We won't last a day in a land where we get persecuted."

"Right; Come on, please Spike? Please?" Fluttershy ask, giving out puppy dog eyes to Spike who groans a bit. They are hard to resist.

"Okay, fine." Spike said with a sigh as he opens the door to his shack, "But one night, only okay?"

"Oh yes, thanks," Rainbow laughs as she and Pinkie rush into the shack, much to the other ponies' shock and Spike's alarm.

"Hey, what are you..." Spike yelps as Pinkie bounces on a chair. "No, no, no!"

"Oh, this is going to be Super Duper fun!" Pinkie giggles playfully while Rainbow helps herself to the fridge. "Oh, we can stay up late, swap some ghost stories, and in the morning, I am making pancakes!"

"Man, nothing but gems in here." Rainbow remarked, closing the fridge door. Spike growls angrily at the intruders. "So where are we sleeping?"

"OUTSIDE," Spike exclaims furiously, pointing outside to the shack.

"But are you going to let us get cold out there?" Twilight ask Spike in concern. The Dragon pauses then sighs.

"Okay, Twilight. Since, you, AJ and Fluttershy were nice and not barge in, you can stay in here. But Rainbow and Pinkie are sleeping outside."

Rainbow frowns then groans as she flies back outside. Pinkie's mane and tail deflates, giving out a sad and dramatic look. As the mare heads outside, she sniffs, saying, "Oh...okay, I guess it's okay. I mean, we don't know you and you don't know us. So I guess outside is better for both me and Dashie, you know. Here we go." Pinkie sniffs as she heads outside before turning to Spike. "Goodnight."

Spike slams the door close. Rainbow rolls her eyes, sitting down while remarking, "Come on, I like the outdoors. I am a Pegasus pony, I was born outside....and I prefer the clouds." The cyan Pegasus pony flew to a cloud in the sky and sat on it.

"Right, Dashie...I will be outside...by myself...you and the other girls inside know...by myself, outside."

Spike groans, heading off much to Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy's concern. They hear Pinkie singing sadly.

Well, that was an awkward first meeting. In the next chapter, when Spike's home gets invaded by more creatures, aliens, etc., he and the Mane Five leaves the swamp to speak to Prince Blueblood, who tortures a griffin named Bucky while looking for a bride with the help of Grim. Read, review and suggest.

Razoul is the head of the guards in the Aladdin franchise.

Seabreeze is the Breezies leader that appeared in the recent episode of 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'.

Chapter 2: Home Invasion

It was evening as Spike made dinner for himself, Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy. It looks disgusting but the food was the best that the Dragon could make for himself and his guests.

"I hope you three are hungry. I don't normally have guests…but it's nice to have some company around here." Spike comments to his guests while sitting down at the table.

"Thanks." Twilight said, cringing as Spike took out wax from his ear, put it down and lit the thing. "We try our best to get by."

Fluttershy glances to the window, seeing Pinkie looking inside then sighs as she goes to the door, lying down and sighing. The yellow Pegasus looks concerned. Her friend is sure hungry by the smell of the food.

"Uh, listen. Can't you let Pinkie and Rainbow in?" Fluttershy ask Spike quietly as he eats. "I mean, they were rude before, yes, but they were being themselves."

"Well, maybe, but..." Spike begins to say. But then he hears a noise, making him sigh in annoyance while getting up. Pinkie and Rainbow must've gotten inside! "Pinkie, I thought I told you and Rainbow to stay outside!"

"We are outside, Spike!" Pinkie points out in bewilderment. Spike and the ones allowed in the shack look surprised as Pinkie bounces up and down outside through a window; even Rainbow can be seen looking in. Those two are outside!

"Then who--?"

Suddenly everyone heard more noises. Applejack looks around then saw some shadows moving around. She said, "Sugar cube, Ah done think we got company more than us."

Spike looks around and under the table...then to his surprise, he spots three bugs on the table. The one, an ant named Flik, spoke up, "Well, fellows, it's far away from the colony but what other choice do we got?"

A ladybug named Francis nods while saying, "Right. Not home but it will do all right."

A walking stick insect named Slim bounces on a slug, saying, "Hey guys! What a lovely bed!"

Spike in annoyance grabs the bug, snapping, "Gotcha!" But to his surprise, Slim escape and lands on one of his shoulders, grabbing one of his ears.

"Found some food!" Slim bits one of Spike's ears, causing him to yelp in pain. The bug insect comments, "Awful stuff."

"Okay, get off." Twilight said, using her magic to take Slim off of Spike and put him onto the table.

"Hey, is that you, Slim?" Flik ask Slim curiously.

"How did you know?" Slim ask Flik in amusement.

"Uh, are you three blind? Not to be insensitive." Fluttershy said to the bugs in concern.

Before any of the bugs could answer, Spike angrily grabs them, snapping, "Enough! What are you three doing in my home?!" Suddenly the Dragon felt a bump hit him from behind, causing him to drop the bugs. "Hey!"

Spike turns and saw a pink hedgehog in a coffin on the table being shoved by a bunch of apes, led by an old monkey named Cranky Dog. The Dragon, scowling, shoves the coffin back, snapping, "Hey, no way, no; Dead hedgehog off the table!'

"I don't think she's dead. I think she's sleeping." Fluttershy said, noting the pink hedgehog is actually sleeping.

"She's right and where are we supposed to put her?" Cranky ask Spike with a scowl. "The bed's taken already!"

"What," Spike ask in alarm. He heads to the bedroom and removes the curtain. To his shock, in his bed is huge koopa known as Bowser who is lying there for some reason.

"What?" Bowser asks Spike as if not doing anything wrong. The koopa yelps as Spike grabs him, preparing to throw him off. "Hey, take it easy!"

"What are you guys doing in here?" Twilight asks Bowser and the bugs in concern as Spike takes Bowser to the front door and opens it.

"Haven't anyone gotten the hint?! I've live here in the forest, I put up signs, I'm a terrifying Dragon! What do I have to do to have some privacy," Spike demands furiously as he tosses Bowser out. The Dragon looks outside and got a terrifying shocking sight, "No; Oh no, no!"

Applejack looks outside with Twilight and Fluttershy, their eyes widen as the cowpony exclaims, "Holy cow ponies!"

Sure enough, Spike's swamp has been invaded by creatures, aliens, furries, good creatures, etc. that were rounded up and exiled by the order of Prince Blueblood who are literally camped out in front of his home! The Simpsons sat in front of a campfire to keep warm.

A man named the Music Meister is singing while waving a conductor stick, causing some rats to scurry over to him, a few Bushwoolies were directing tragic to allow Breezies, witches, and any small creatures to land safely. More creatures are appearing in the forest by the second.

This was too much for Spike to handle. He roars furiously, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?!"

He yells so loudly, his echoes are heard throughout the swamp. Everyone stop what they're doing, going silent or gasping. The Mystic Ponies known as Mystic Tao, Dragon Kick, Mighty Heart and Jade Adventure went to hide in a tent, though the last one didn't want to.

"Well, this is awkward." Twilight remarks awkwardly at this sight.

"Okay, all right, everyone out of my swamp! All of you; scram! Let's go, come on! Hapaya and whatever that means! Hey, quickly, go!" Spike snaps, shoving the intruders in hopes to get rid of them. After some of them dodge the Dragon while more rush into the shack, "Hey, no, no; Not there, not in there!"

Spike tries to run after the intruders but they close the door on his face, making him yelp. The Dragong roans in frustration then turn to give an accusing look at Pinkie and Rainbow who looks innocently at him.

"Hey, don't look at us. We didn't invite them." Rainbow protests to Spike with a frown.

"She's right, we didn't invite them either." Applejack said to Spike in concern, "At least, not wit'out asking yew first, Spike."

"Well, obviously no one invited us, no one wanted us." Ben remarks to Spike and the Mane Five with a sigh.

"What?" Spike asks Ben in bewilderment.

"We were forced to come here."

"What? By who?"

"Prince Blueblood!" Eduardo exclaims to Spike in sadness. "Si, he hugged and he puffed and...that big meanie signed an eviction notice ."

"Right, I'm sorry but what he did to us was not okay." Wilt sighs a bit.

"Coco coco coco coco coco," Coco exclaims in her own name in frustration.

"Yes, yes, I agree. I was wondering too where he would be putting you dear ones as well as us." Fluttershy said, understanding Coco due to her ability to understand animals. "Forcing you all into this place is...not nice."

Spike groans heavily. Apparently, this Blueblood jerk has hated these creatures enough to dump them right onto his home. This has got to stop. The Dragon spoke, "Okay, does anyone know where this Blueblood pony is?"

Everyone look around, but not answering. The fugitives are too scared to do so. Pinkie bounces up and down, exclaiming, "Oh, I do! I know where he is!"

"Does anyone else know where to find him; anyone at all?"

"Me, me!"

"Anyone," Spike asks everyone else desperately, he really doesn't want to respond to Pinkie who jumps up and down in the crowd. Lisa raises her hand but a concerned Marge makes her put it down in worry.

"Oh come on, pick me! I know, I know, me me!" Pinkie exclaims, bouncing up and down.

"Listen, we know where he is as well...and I don't think anypony else wants to answer." Twilight said, making Spike roll his eyes while sighing; Looks like he got no choice.

"Fine, okay." Spike said, clearing his throat. He spoke to the crowd, making them nervous at first while saying, "Attention all aliens, creatures, whatever you are. Do not get comfy here because your welcome is officially over! In fact," He slams a fist into a Dragon paw while continuing, "I am going to see this spoiled prince right now and get you out of my swamp and back to where you came from!"

A pause, then everyone cheers happily. They can go home again, thanks to the 'kind' act of this Dragon! Spike, rolling his eyes, turns to the Mane Five, pointing while saying, "You five. You are coming with me."

"Oh yeah! That's what I like to hear!" Rainbow laughs as she and her friends follow Spike who passes through the crowd to make their departure, the fairies put a necklace of flowers around his neck to wish the Dragon luck though Spike just tosses the thing away, "Oh yeah! Rainbow Dash, Spike, and the rest of her pals, a group of misfits on a whirlwind big-city adventure! 100% awesome! I love it!"

"Right, you will need all the help you can get to deal with Blueblood." Twilight said. Spike grabs a torch from a Bushwoolie while leaving. Pinkie begins to sing.

Pinkie: On the road again.

Pinkie spoke in normal voice, "Come on, Spike and girls! Sing it with me!"

I can't wait to get on the road again.

"Didn't I tell you not to sing?" Spike asks Pinkie in annoyance.

"Well, can I whistle?" Pinkie asks Spike curiously as the group heads off.

"No!" Some of the girls exclaims in annoyance, not wanting to hear the whistling either.

"Well, how about I hum it?"

Spike sighs, saying, "Fine, go ahead on and hum it." Pinkie begins to hum the same song as the six heads off on a trek to the home of Prince Blueblood.

Spike and the Mane 5 headed off but somepony was watching. It was the lookalike of Pinkie Pie along with a Brown Alicorn with a Golden mane. The pink pony says, Big brother, I can sense that this Dragon is the one to save all of the realm from the evil unicorn's rule."

"Well I am not sure but you did know that we would escape so let's follow them if we can little sister." Golden Heart said. They both head off as a Gold phoenix lands on Golden Heart's shoulder

"Hey Gold Wing."

While Spike and the girls are heading to DuColt, the ruling home of Prince Blueblood, in his castle, dark activities is occurring as a white unicorn with a blond mane and a suit heads through a hallway, looking evilly. Prince Blueblood goes by two of his guards who stood in attention, going through a door which leads to the torture chamber.

Inside the room, a masked vulture known as Vlad Vladikoff is dunking someone in a tank mercilessly.

"Okay, enough, Vlad." Blueblood said with a smirk. "He's ready to talk."

"I am supposed to be anonymous here." Vlad remarks to Blueblood with a scowl.

Regardless, Vlad pulls a rope to pull out a griffin named Bucky out of the water. The prisoner coughs as he was slammed down onto the table with his wings injured and was strapped down. Blueblood laughs evilly as he goes up to the table...but stops as he saw it higher than him.

"Ahem!" Blueblood snaps to Vlad. The vulture pulls a lever to lower the table. The evil unicorn grins wickedly, pulling on Bucky's wings while taunting, "Run, run, run, as fast as you can. You can't catch me, I'm the Griffin man!"

"You're a monster, Prince Shortblood!" Bucky exclaims angrily to Blueblood, much to the prince's own anger.

"Oooh…how many times do I have to tell every living creature that crawls, flies or even swims…I AM NOT SHORT!!!!! My dreams are just…bigger than my situation."

Bucky smirking remarks sarcastically, "Riiiiight."

Blueblood chose to ignore that comment, speaking, "Anyway…I'm not the monster here, you are; you and the rest of those mythical and fairy tale trash poisoning my perfect world. Now tell me…where are the others?"

"Skin me!" Bucky scowls as he spits at Blueblood's eye, making him scowl angrily.

"I've tried for many years to be fair to you creatures…now my patience, bird boy, is at its end. Tell me now…before I--." Blueblood demands as he grabs Bucky's tail as if preparing to pull it right off.

"No! Not my tail. Not my precious tail."

"All right, now who's hiding them? Tell me!'

"Okay, I'll tell you." Bucky said with a sad sigh. The poor griffin has no choice but to talk. "Do you know the Baker Griffin?"

"The Baker Griffin," Blueblood ask Bucky puzzled.

"The Baker Griffin."

"Yes. I know the Baker Griffin...who lives in Manehattan."

"Well, she's married to the Baker Griffin." Bucky groans, explaining who is married to the 'Baker Griffin' that is hiding the remaining creatures that Blueblood is chasing.

"The Baker Griffin," Blueblood asks Bucky, arching an eyebrow at him.

"The Baker Griffin!"

"She's married to the Baker Griffin...wait, since when did we end up in song?"

Suddenly the interrogation was interrupted when the top door to the room slams open. Razoul came in, speaking, "My Prince; we've found it!'

"Well, don't just stand there! Bring it in!" Blueblood orders Razoul eagerly. This interrogation will have to wait. This can't!

Two guards and a small scarred Dragon known as Lorcan brought in something covered in a sheet and then hang it up on a wall. Once the thing is removed, everyone including Bucky looks awe, the last one spoke, "Whoa..." Soon the figure known as Grim appears, looking at everyone.

"Grim Reaper..."

"Don't tell him anything; No matter what!"

In annoyance, Blueblood pulls Bucky off the table and throws him into a bag being kept by Razoul. The Captain of the Guards closes it as he snaps to the griffin, "Be quiet!"

"Oh sure, take it out on the injured, Razoul." Lorcan remarks sarcastically to Bucky. "What a brave man you are."

"You be quiet too, Lorcan!"

"Hey, I wouldn't be working for this snotty blue bit if he hasn't took Luna captured!"

Blueblood clears his throat, turning to Grim while saying, "Ahem, good evening. Grim, Grim on the wall. Is this not the most perfect kingdom of them all?"

"Okay, first off, I ain't a mirror, a mon. I am just trapped behind this mirror thanks to Billy's stupidity. Second, I will tell you this: technically you ain't no king." Grim remarks to Blueblood dryly.

"Uh, Vlad," Blueblood ask Vlad dryly. The vulture held up a skeleton used for science classes and breaks it into pieces, much to Grim's shock and horror. "Now, care to say that again?"

"What I meant was, Prince Blueblood mon…is that you're not a King…yet. But you can become one. "

"Really; And how's that?"

"All you gotta do is marry a Princess. As simple as that," Grim said to Blueblood nervously. One false word and this skeleton will be in pieces, in the mirror and out!

"Very well, Grim…I'm listening." Blueblood said with a smirk, making Grim chuckles nervously.

"So...why not sit back down and relax, my pieces, because it's time for you to meet today's eligible bachelorettes! And here they are!" Grim moves aside, showing three silhouettes of three girls. He focuses on the first girl, speaking, "The first bachelorette is an Alicorn who was originally a Pegasus. She loves to spread love and can foal sat ponies anytime. And she's single. Please welcome...Princess Cadance!"

Grim reveal a pink Alicorn with cute hair, much to Blueblood interest. The skeleton goes to the next silhouette, "Bachelorette #2 is a pink hedgehog who can swing a mean hammer. Although she lives with a couple of animals, especially apes, she isn't easy. Just kiss her lips and see what a hot head she is! Give it up for...Amy Rose!"

The next silhouette is revealed to be a pink hedgehog in a coma. Blueblood smirks excitedly. Grim finishes up, "And finally, but mostly not least, mon, the last girl is a fiery purple-mane unicorn from a Demon Pony-guarded castle, surrounded by hot boiling lava! But don't let that cool you off. She is one loaded pistol who like pina colada and getting caught in the rains; yours for the rescuing...Princess Rarity!"

The guards looks interested while Lorcan looks on, commentating, "Very interesting."

"So what is it going to be? Bachelorette #1, Bachelorette #2, or Bachelorette #3," Grim ask Blueblood, asking him to decide. The unicorn looks anxious. All these girls looks so good, what to decide? The guards yell out anxiously as if in a live studio audience on a game show.

"Two, two," A guard calls out to Blueblood eagerly.

"1, 1," Razoul calls out to the prince anxiously.

"3, 3," Another guard calls out to Blueblood loudly.

"Three, pick #3, my prince!" Vlad exclaims, holding up 2 talon fingers though he said '3'.

"Yeah, I also second on three!" Lorcan exclaims to Blueblood with a nod. He wants this jerk to choose 3 so she can be rescued, be married and Luna will be back in his claws again.

"Okay, okay...I choose number 3!" Blueblood exclaims, choosing his final answer anxiously.

"Prince Blueblood, you've chosen Princess Rarity!" Grim exclaims to the prince as he reveals the princess looking out a window in sadness. As a song plays, Blueblood looks at Rarity in anticipation.

"Oh yes...Princess Rarity. She is perfect...now then, I got to find someone who could go..."

"Uh, Prince; Perhaps I should mention a little thing that happens at sunset..."

"What? What do you mean?" Lorcan ask Grim puzzled, wondering what the skeleton meant by the sunset part.

"Yes, I will do it!" Blueblood exclaims eagerly. This is perfect! And Rarity will soon be his!

"Yes, but after sunset..." Grim begins to say to Blueblood in concern. The unicorn prince must know of a small detail as to what will happen to Rarity at sunset.

"What will happen after sunset?" Lorcan asks Grim puzzled.

"Well, that's when..."

"Silence the both of you! Yes, I will make Princess Rarity my queen and soon, DuColt will finally have what it needed: the perfect king!" Blueblood laughs wickedly. Turning to Razoul and the guards, he adds, "Captain! Get me your finest men. We're going to have a tournament; Ha ha ha!"

"Great, he wants to marry Rarity but is too lazy to go after her himself." Lorcan remarks to himself dryly. Blueblood doesn't want to dirty his hooves so he decides to send someone in his place to rescue her.

Grim on the other hand looks concerned, knowing Blueblood will be upset when he finds out the little thing that happens at sunset.

Well, that's it. Blueblood is after a princess but won't do so himself. In the next chapter, Spike and the Mane Five arrives in time for the tournament, teaming up with Lorcan (who is surprisingly Spike's missing brother) to fight off the guards. Read, review and suggest.

Bucky is preferring to Gustave le Grand, the griffin baker from 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic', who is in the role of the Muffin Man.

Chapter 3: The DuColt Champions

It took all night and some of the day but Spike and his pony friends came out of the field at a parking lot labeled 'Blueblood Section'. Pinkie smiled, pointing while saying, "Yeah, that's it; that's it right there; that's DuColt! We told you that we'd find it."

The gang looks up and down at the castle which appears to be 40 stories high. Blueblood is either a powerful ruler or what he is an illusion of sorts.

"So that's Prince Blueblood's home, huh?" Spike asks his friends in amusement.

"Eeyup, 'dat's 'de place," Applejack said with a nod.

"Huh. You think maybe he's compensating for something?" Spike asks with a smirk, making a joke and chuckles a bit. Of course, he notices that the ponies are looking at him oddly.

"I don't get it." Fluttershy said puzzled. Spike groans as he heads through the parking lot. "Wait, Spike."

At the admission area in front of the town, a boy in a giant Blueblood costume named Ed was clipping tickets from a couple. A stallion spoke up while taking his wife's hand, "Come on, darling. We can't be late. Come on."

As the couple hurries in, the group glances a bit. Spike spoke up, "Hey, you!" Ed gasps in horror upon seeing the Dragon then begins running through the row of ropes like mad to get to the front gate. "Wait, hang on! I am not going to eat you! I just..."

"Wait, we just..." Twilight begins to say but Ed kept on running, passing another row.

Spike groans a bit. He isn't surprised so the Dragon just walks through the rows without moving the ropes. Ed kept on running, trying to escape. But upon reaching the gate, he stupidly slams into a wall before falling onto the ground unconsciously.

"Oooh," The heroes remarks with cringes. That will hurt him.

Spike goes through the rail first. A concerned Fluttershy points out, "Uh, Spike, girls; we don't have tickets to go in. Wouldn't that be trespassing?"

"Come on, Fluttershy. I doubt they give tickets to creatures like us anyway." Rainbow remarks as she, Twilight, Applejack and finally Fluttershy goes through the rail. "Anyway, what's the point? We ain't staying here anyhow!"

Spike and the others heard a noise, noting that Pinkie is having trouble getting through the rail. After a while, the pink pony flips out of it before landing on the floor with a grunt.

Spike roll his eyes as he and the ponies, including Pinkie who recovers, heads onward into the city of DuColt which appears to be empty. It looks like a Disney amusement park...but not much people appear to be around; Odd.

"Quiet, too quiet," Spike said puzzled. "Where is everyone?"

"I don't know." Twilight said in concern. "This place usually got folks doing activities..."

"Oooh, look at this!" Pinkie exclaims. She spots an Information Booth used to give out info to the citizens or tourists. The pink pony bounces over and pulls a lever at the side.

Suddenly, the gang heard noises coming out of it as if music is being winded up. Soon, the doors on the box open up, showing wooden puppets appearing as they begin to sing.

Puppets: Welcome to DuColt, such a perfect town
Here we have some rules
Let us lay them down
Don't make waves, stay in line
And we'll get along fine
DuColt's a perfect place
Please keep off of the grass
Shine your shoes, wipe your...

The puppets bent down to show their flanks as if about to say a nasty word. But then they turn around, showing their faces.

Face
DuColt is, DuColt is
DuColt's a perfect place!

Once the song is over, the box closes and a camera flashes, a picture came out that show the group looking awkwardly...which what they were doing surprisingly enough.

"Wow..." Pinkie said with a blink. She smirks mischievously, looking at her friends while preparing to jump to the lever again, "Again, again!"

However Spike grabs Pinkie by the table, snapping, "No, no, no, no; No!"

"He's right, once is enough," Applejack snaps in annoyance to Pinkie. Suddenly the gang heard a trumpet fanfare, making them turn to see that it's coming from a coliseum nearby. "Ya reckon 'dat's where everypony else is?"

"I reckon. Come on." Twilight said with a nod as they head to the coliseum.

Inside the coliseum, the folks were in their seats as a song involving some dancers play for them all. Blueblood is sitting in a royal booth behind them with Razoul and some of his subjects.

DuColt Dancers: He likes to cook!

Blueblood: A model that amazes, a plan with seven phases.

DuColt Dancers: Bum bum bum bum bum!

Blueblood: Things are looking up here in DuColt!

DuColt Dancers: They’re looking up!

Once of the dancers spoke to the crowd, "And here’s the stallion who made it happen, the towering colossal of moxie, Prince Blueblood!"

The audience (forcefully by a guard holding a cue card) applauds for the prince who smiles as he speaks, "Oh, it’s you! What a terrific surprise." The stallion jumps to the stage to join in on the singing and dancing.

Blueblood: Once upon a time, this place was infested.
Freaks on every corner– I had them all arrested.
Hey, nonny, nonny, nonny, no…
If you had a quirk, you didn’t pass inspection.
We all have our standards, but I will have perfection!
And so…And so…

Things are looking up here in DuColt.

DuColt Dancers: Just take a look!

Blueblood: The things I’m cooking up here in DuColt.

In DuColt!
The fillies all look swell, the stallions are so dashing.
And thanks to my new dress code, the fashion’s never clashing!
Hey, nonny, nonny, nonny, no…

This castle I had built is taller than the cliff tops.
A city like a postcard, a monorail and gift shops!

Blueblood stop singing, smirking as he spoke, "Hey, let’s hear it for those DuColt dancers! Aren’t they terrific?" He and the dancers stop to have a dancing moment, much to the amusement of Lorcan watching with the guards while he's wearing a helmet and armor.

"I could do better than that." Lorcan mumbles. Once the dance break is over, Blueblood sings once more.

There’s no sign in slowin’, we’re growin’, we’re growin!

DuColt Dancers: Look he’s growing, and growing, and growing!
Look at him grow!

Blueblood: Things are looking up here…

DuColt Dancers: We practiced this part both forward and back.
We make one mistake, and we get the rack!

Blueblood: Things I’m cooking up here…

DuColt Dancers: He taught us to dance with razzamatazz.
He’s trained in ballet, flamenco and jazz!

Blueblood: My hard work and my rigor
Have made me so much bigger!
Things are looking up…

Once the song is over, the crowd (forcefully) applauds as Blueblood got back in his booth. Once the dancers leave, the unicorn speaks, "Thank you, everyone. And now for the main event; brave Knights, you are the best and brightest all over the land. And today one of you will prove himself..."

Unknown to everyone, Spike's group is heading down the tunnel leading to the arena. Of course, the Dragon and Rainbow are getting annoyed as Pinkie is humming the town's song.

"Okay, you're going the right way for a smacked flank!" Spike snaps to Pinkie, having enough.

"He's right, Pinkie. Enough." Rainbow snaps to Pinkie with a frown.

"Oopsie, sorry," Pinkie said sheepishly.

As the good guys enter the coliseum, Blueblood continues his speech while Lorcan watches on, "That champion will have the honor...neigh, neigh! The privilege of going forth to rescue the beautiful Princess Rarity from the Dark Keep of the Demon Pony! Of course, if for any reason that the winner doesn't succeed, the first runner-up will take his place...and so on and so forth."

"Geez, Blueblood is lazy and a snob." Lorcan remarks to himself dryly. "What, he's a sissy to get his own hooves dirty?"

"Some of you may die...but it's a sacrifice that I'm willing to make." Blueblood said with a fake proud smile. Another cue card holder holds a sign to cause the audience to cheer. "Okay! Let the tournament begin!"

Spike and his group chose that time to walk forward. As the knights prepared for battle, they saw a familiar Dragon approaching, making them gasp in shock and horror. Even the audience stops their cheering, looking shocked upon seeing Spike.

"Spike," Lorcan gasps in shock, recognizing Spike.

"Who is that?!" Blueblood gasps upon seeing Spike in front of him.

Razoul, recognizing the same Dragon that send him and his men running yesterday, answers, "That would be Spike…the Dragon of the Western Woods, my Prince."

"That is Spike?! Ooh…he's hideous!"

"Oh come on, that isn't nice." Spike remarks, glancing at the Mane Five for a moment before turning back. "It's just a bunch of colorful ponies."

"Hey!" The Mane Five exclaims in annoyance at Spike.

"Indeed . Knights, warriors, new plan! The one who kills the Dragon will be named champion!" Blueblood announces, making Spike and his friends look shocked. That prince is ordering his men to kill him! "Get him!"

"Kill the Dragon!" Razoul ordered. The knights then advance on Spike, eager to kill him for that chance to be a champion.

Well, not all of them. Lorcan frowns while mumbling, "I don't care what Blueblood said. I ain't killing my little brother."

"Hey come on! Hang on now!" Spike exclaims as he backs away towards a huge of barrel. The Dragon bumps into a table with some mugs of apple cider in it already. Not good. These guys (minus Lorcan) are out to get him and may hurt the Mane Five while doing!

"Go ahead! Kill him!" The crowd calls out eagerly, wanting Spike to be dead!

"Oh no, not good," Fluttershy whimpers a bit, rushing to hide behind a barrel.

Spike grabs a mug, asking the knights, "Any chance we could settle this over a drink?"

"Well, to be honest, Spike..." Lorcan begins to say but a knight nudges him to keep quiet. "Hey!"

"No? Okay then." Spike remarks with a shrug as he drank the apple cider in one gulp. "All right, let's go!"

Suddenly Spike slams the spigot of the large barrel off with his mug, causing a lot of apple cider to be spilled out. Lorcan manages to get out of the way in time as the stuff rush out and knocks some of the knights down. As the ground became muddy, Spike slid past the minions and grabs a spear, using it to fight the knights as a song begins.

The Mane Five quickly jumps onto another barrel, causing it to get loose from its rope and begin to role, crushing two of the knights as a result. As this happens, Spike saw more of the minions coming, causing him to rush over to a pen with non-talking horses. They run out as the Dragon got into the thing as if like in a pen followed by the knights.

A girl can do what she wants to do
And that's what I'm gonna do

In determination, Spike bounces off the rope as if in a wrestling match and knock two of the knights down, much to the astonishment of the crowd and the disbelief of Blueblood watching.

Spike begins kicking the guards' butts, smashing, head-locking and when jumping up and knocking them down like in a wrestling match. One guard prepares to hit the Dragon from behind but Lorcan grabs him, holding the enemy.

"Tag me! Hey, tag me, tag me!" Pinkie exclaims eagerly. Lorcan brings the guard over, allowing the pink pony to hit her head on the enemy, knocking him out.

And I don't give a damn about my bad reputation
Never said I wanted to improve my station

The crowd begins to get excited, liking the Dragons' performance. Spike got on the rope, interacting with the crowd eagerly.

And I'm always feelin' good when I'm having fun

A guard tries to sneak behind Spike but the Dragon, seeing him, turns in turn and body slams the opponent.

And I don't have to please no one

"The chair! Give him the chair!" Golden Harvest calls out to Spike eagerly. The Dragon uses a metal chair to hit some of the knights on the backs with it. The crowd cheered on wildly as Spike and Lorcan continues kicking their enemies' butts.

Soon almost all of the men were down until Applejack smirks as she kicks the last one unconscious in the helmet with her back sound. A ding sounds, ending the match. Spike and Lorcan came out, waving to the crowd who cheers and went wild for them. Blueblood on the other hoof looks upset. His best men were taken down by two Dragons!

"Yeah, oh yeah, thanks; Thanks a lot! I'm here until Thursday; try the veal! Ha ha ha," Spike exclaims eagerly. He turns to Lorcan, adding, "Hey, thanks for backing me up, Mister..."

"Spike, don't you recognize me?" Lorcan asks as he removes his helmet. Spike looks shocked as he saw who it is, knowing who this knight is at once.

"Lorcan?! Is that you?!"

"You know him?" Twilight ask Spike in surprise.

"Well, duh! He's my older brother! I haven't seen him in a long time!" Spike exclaims, hugging Lorcan, happy to see him for so long.

"He's your older brother?! He's a shorty." Rainbow laughs in amusement by Lorcan's height. It's true, this Dragon is short!

"Grrrrr...." Lorcan growls as he pounces on Rainbow. "Don't call me small! I'll rip off your feet and stick em down your throat!"

However, Blueblood smirks as he made a signal. Spike, Lorcan and the ponies stop what they're doing looking shocked as the guards on the castle walls aim their bow and arrows at them all. The crowd gasps in horror at this happening. Blueblood is going to kill the Dragons and the Ponies right here and now!

"Oh no," Spike gasps in shock, recognizing what arrows that the guards are using.

"What's wrong, Spike?" Twilight ask Spike in concern.

"The guards are armed with Black Arrows!"

"Huh," Rainbow ask puzzled. That doesn't sound good.

"There's only two weapons that can really pierce a Dragon's hide, Rainbow; its magic swords and Black Arrows, both in the form of a regular arrow and in the form of a crossbow bolt." Spike said seriously to Rainbow.

"Oh great, just great," Lorcan remarked with a groan. "This could end my career badly but not on this!"

"Shall I give the order, sir?" Razoul ask Blueblood, wanting permission to give the order to have the Dragons and the ponies killed right now, even Lorcan.

Blueblood pauses then spoke up, having a thought, "Actually, no. I got a better idea." Turning to the crowd, he exclaims while pointing to Spike and Lorcan, "People of DuColt! I give you your champions!"

"Wait, what?" Spike asks in shock and confusion. Lorcan looks surprised. He and his brother had won a tournament that Spike didn't even enter at all!

"Very well done, Spike the Dragon and Lorcan…you two and your friends have won the honor of embarking on a great and noble quest!"

"Quest?! Excuse me, Prince Blueblood…but I'm already on a quest; a quest to get my home back!

"Your home," Blueblood ask Spike, arching an eyebrow at this.

"Yeah…Your Royal Shortness--!" Spike begins to snaps angrily at Blueblood.

"I…Am…Not…SHORT," Blueblood snaps furiously. After calming down, he said, "My dreams are just bigger than my…current status."

Spike, Lorcan and the Mane 5, snickering to themselves, adds, "Riiiiiiiiiggggght."

"Anyway, yeah…my home…where you dumped those fairy tale/mythical creatures!" Spike exclaims furiously, making the crowd gasps at that accusation.

"Is that right?" Blueblood asks Spike in amusement. It's true, the prince has indeed dumped the fairy tale/mythical creatures into that swamp, but only because he didn't think or care that anyone is actually living there. Actually, the unicorn got an idea on how to kill two birds with one stone: get what he wanted and get rid of the pests, maybe the Dragon Spike too. "Very well then…O Mighty Spike, then I shall make you a deal. Go on this quest for me, and I promise…that you shall have your home back."

"Exactly the way it was?"

"You have my word."

"And the squatters?" Spike asks Blueblood suspiciously.

Blueblood grins as he answers, "As good as gone."

"And what about our deal, Blueblood," Lorcan demands to Blueblood with a frown. Spike looks puzzled, wondering what his brother meant.

"Okay, Lorcan. Help Spike complete his noble quest and not only will I release you from my service but I will also make you immune to future persecution from my men; How about it?"

Spike pauses as he glances at the guards, preparing to fire if the Dragon refuses to do what Blueblood wants him to do. Turning back to the prince, Spike then ask, "Okay…what kind of quest?"

Outside the coliseum, Pinkamena and Golden Heart were waiting as Gold Wing lands on Golden Heart;s shoulder and whispers into his ear. The Alicorn says, "It seems spike and gang are going to retrieve Rarity."

Pinkamena adds, "Who's guarded by a monster and caretakers; also by sunset she becomes a Dragon."

"Um how did you..."

"I read the book."

Pinkamena indeed is holding a book about the tale. Golden Heart blinks then he said, "Um ok, but lets go follow." They head off to follow the good guys on their quest.

Blueblood has given the group the information about Rarity, where she's being held at and the direction as to where to find her. The heroes are on their way, walking through the field and away from the castle, heading to the direction of the dark land itself.

As Spike eats some onions, Pinkie puzzled spoke up, "Okie dokie lokie. So let's see if I got this right. You and your brother Lorcan are going to fight a Demon Pony to rescue a princess so that Blueblood will give you back a swamp which you don't have only because he filled it with freaks in the first place. Did I hear right?"

"Yeah, that's the case." Lorcan said with a nod.

"Ugh, you know, there's some reason why some ponies shouldn't talk." Spike mumbles while taking a bite from the onion.

"Still, Ah don't git it. Why couldn't Blueblood just go after Rarity himself? What, he's too lazy an' a neat freak 'ta do so?" Applejack asks the others, puzzled by the fact that Blueblood won't do the quest himself.

"Yeah, pretty much." Rainbow remarks dryly. "So Spike, Lorcan? I don't get it. How come you don't pull any of that Dragon stuff on him to get your swamp back? I mean, throttle him; lay siege to his castle, burn him to pieces, the whole Dragon trip."

"Oh, yeah. And you know what? Maybe I should've cut off the heads of a bunch of villager ponies, put their heads on a pike, got out my claws and open their spleen and drink their blood." Spike remarks sarcastically to Rainbow, getting her a bit disturbed. "Does that help?"

"Err, nah, not really."

"Look, Rainbow, there's more to being a Dragon than people think."

"He's right. We aren't always savages and all that." Lorcan said to Rainbow in agreement. "Even we got standards."

"Example?" Pinkie ask Lorcan and Spike curiously.

The group stops as Spike ponders, wondering what example to prove his and Lorcan's point. The Dragon, seeing his onion, said, "Example. Right. Okay, Dragons...are like onions!" Pinkie sniffs the onion then cringes a bit.

"Whoa! They stink?"

"Ye...no!"

"They make you cry?" Fluttershy ask Spike, guessing next.

"No, Fluttershy." Lorcan said, rolling her eyes at that guess.

"Oh I get it! If you leave them in the sun, they get all brown and start sprouting little white hairs!" Rainbow exclaims with a smirk, much to the annoyance of the Dragons and Twilight.

"Ugh! No, you arrogant flying pony; Layers," Spike snaps as he peels the onions, showing the layers. "Onions have layers! Dragons have layers! Onions have layers! Got it? We both got layers!"

"Oh yes. I see." Twilight said with a nod. Spike sighs heavily as he walks off, leaving the onion. "You Dragons look rough and nasty on the outside..."

"But on the inside, you can be gentle." Fluttershy said with a smile. Lorcan nodded, confirming the answer as to what Twilight and Fluttershy are getting at.

"Oooooh, you both got layers. I see." Pinkie said, sniffing the dropped onion. The mare cringes as she follows the rest of her friends. "I will be honest though. Not everypony like onions. Oh! I know! Cakes! Everypony loves cake! They got layers, right?"

"No, I don't care what everypony likes." Spike snaps to Pinkie, rolling his eyes at the pink pony trying to make a point. "Dragons aren't like cakes."

"Hmmm. Say, you know what else everypony likes? Parfaits! Have you met someone, you say, 'hey, let's get some parfait', they said, 'hay no, I don't like parfaits'. Wow, they are yummy."

"Actually, I could go fer parfaits mahself." Applejack said, getting a bit hungry.

Spike on the other hoof turns around, snapping angrily to Pinkie, "No, you dense, annoying pink ball of a pony! Ponies are like onions, okay?! End of story! See you later!"

With that, the Dragon storms off once more, Lorcan and the ponies cringe a bit. Spike can be very sensitive about this subject.

"Wow, what's his problem?" Twilight ask Lorcan in concern as the group continues following Spike to their destination.

"Long story," Lorcan said to Twilight with a sigh. "My brother prefers never to talk about it."

"So how is it you ended up working with Blueblood anyway, since you're a Dragon?"

"It's a long story, Twilight, involving me...and my true love..."

"Hee hee; Parfaits must be the most delicious on this world and any other world out there!" Pinkie giggles a bit, licking her lips even thinking about parfaits.

"Ugh, you know? I think I preferred your humming right about now." Spike sighs a bit as the group continues onward.

"Hmmm, any one of you got a tissue or a towel? I'm making a mess. Wow! The word 'parfait' is making me slobber..."

Well, Spike, Lorcan and the Mane Five are on a quest. In the next chapter, upon arriving at the castle over molten lava, they meet Pinkamena, Golden Heart and Gold Wing and then take on the Demon Pony and his caretakers...whom took a romantic interest in the Mane Five. And then, we meet Rarity. Read, review and suggest.

Chapter 4: Dark Keep of the Demon Pony

The gang continues on their way to the dark castle, walking through a field as the sun is preparing to set. Spike moves a branch and unknowingly hits Pinkie with it, knocking her down. The pink pony recovers and follows her friends as a song begins.

The gang stops for the night to sleep under the nearly full moon, sleeping whatever they wish to sleep.

When the next morning came, Spike works on putting the fire out, but he screams and almost burn himself. While Twilight and Lorcan works on putting him out, Rainbow uses a rain cloud to get rid of the fire herself.

It took a while but the gang arrives at the bottom of the volcano where the castle is at. Rarity is obviously waiting for a rescue at the top.

As the heroes got near, Pinkie yelps a bit, smelling something while covering her snout, saying, "Awww, Spike! Did you do that?! Geez, warn somepony when you crack one off! My mouth was opened and all that!"

"Pinkie, I don't think that was Spike." Twilight said in concern.

"She's right. Believe me, if it was me, you'd all be dead." Spike points out to Spike. He sniffs the air, nodding, "Right, brimstone. We are obviously getting close."

As the gang moves on, Rainbow rolls her eyes, saying, "Right, right. Brimstone, don't talk about any brimstone. I mean, I know what Pinkie smell and it ain't any brimstone, come off no stone either."

"Cool it, sugar cube." Applejack snaps to Rainbow as the gang begins climbing/flying up the mountain. "Geez, yew would've thunk they'd installed stairs in 'dis place."

It took a while but the gang arrives on top of the volcano. They peek and saw at what is a piece of rock in the center of it. It has a castle surrounded by boiling lava...and looks dark and creepy.

"Oh...my," Fluttershy squeaks a bit, getting frightened.

"Eh, big enough, but check out the location." Lorcan laughs a bit, making Spike chuckle a bit.

"Right, good one, brother, yeah," Spike chuckled. The gang moves on to the bridge that leads to the skeleton. Pinkie and Fluttershy looks frightened, fearing the worst from this place.

Pinkie, seeing a skeleton, yelps and runs to Spike, asking, "Err, Spike? Remember when you mentioned how Dragons have layers?"

"Sure, I do."

"Uh...I got a little confession to make. Us ponies; we don't havet layers. We of course wear our fear right out there on our sleeves!"

"Uh, sleeves?" Lorcan asks Pinkie skeptically.

"Pinkie, we don't have sleeves." Rainbow reminds Pinkie with a frown.

"Dashie, you know what I mean." Pinkie said with a frown. It means that she's getting scared right now.

"Right, I don't got sleeves either." Fluttershy said, scared.

"Don't tell me you and Pinkie is scared of heights." Spike remarks to the two scared ponies in disbelief.

"Nah; Just uncomfortable about being on a rickety bridge over a boiling lake of lava," Pinkie exclaims as she and Fluttershy looks down the edge into the lava zone.

"Pinkie, Fluttershy, this is no time to be scared." Twilight said to Pinkie and Fluttershy with a sigh. "I'm scared too but we got to get in there and rescue Rarity."

"I know, but..." Fluttershy said meekly, getting more frightened.

"It's okay. Look, we are right here besides you two."

"Right, for emotional support," Spike said with a nod, patting Pinkie and Fluttershy on the backs each, assuring them that it will be fine. "We will tackle this thing together, one little baby step at a time."

"Really," Pinkie ask Spike hopefully.

"Really, really. Right, Lorcan?"

"Sure, no problem," Lorcan remarks, glancing down at the lava, "Just as long as we don't fall in or worst, we will be fine."

"Okay, that makes me feel so much better." Rainbow remarks sarcastically to Lorcan. His words of encouragement don't sound so 'encouraging' at all.

"Well, you, Twilight and Fluttershy can fly! The rest of us can't!"

"Well, me and Twilight, yes. Fluttershy is a bit scared to do some flying."

"Yes, it's true." Fluttershy said meekly. With this so much danger to deal with, flying is the least on her mind right now.

As Twilight and Rainbow fly across the lava, the rest goes onto the bridge. Pinkie begins leading them across. Spike calls out, "Just moving and no matter what, don't anyone look down."

Pinkie and Fluttershy gave nervous nods as they begin trotting in baby steps. The former mumbles, "Okay, try not to look down. Don't look down, me and Fluttershy. Don't look down and keep moving. Don't look..."

However Fluttershy ends up stepping on a rotten board, causing her to move back a little as it broke off, falling into the lava. The Pegasus pony screams in terror, "Eeep! I'm looking down! Oh, Celestia! I can't do this, let me off!"

"Come on, you're there halfway already!" Lorcan exclaims to Fluttershy with a frown.

"Oh, I don't wanna do this either!" Pinkie exclaims, freaking out. "I'm staying here because Fluttershy and I know that half is safer safe!"

"Ugh! Fine, I don't have time for this! You go back!" Spike snaps in frustration. He got a spoiled princess to save. The Dragon shakes the bridge a little, scaring Pinkie and Fluttershy.

"Gah; Spike, no, no!"

"Please, don't shake the bridge again! It's scary!" Fluttershy pleads to Pinkie with fright in her eyes.

Spike and Lorcan pauses, getting mischievous looks on their faces. They got an idea on how to get everyone on the other side safely. The former remarks, "I see. Well, how about a dance then, shall we?"

Spike bounces and shakes the bridge, scaring the frightened ponies once more. Pinkie cries out, "No, Spike, don't do that!"

"Sorry. Do what? Oh, this," Lorcan ask with a wicked grin, bouncing onto the bridge a bit, making Applejack roll her eyes at this.

"Yes, that!"

"You say yes? Yes do it? Okay." Spike laughs a bit as he and Lorcan begins shaking the bridge. Applejack sighs while the frightened Pinkie and Fluttershy backs off like mad.

"Please, Spike! Lorcan, no! Stop it!" Fluttershy squeals frightened, getting more scared.

"You said do it! We're doing it!" Lorcan insists to Fluttershy as the two brothers kept shaking the bridges, freaking out Pinkie and Fluttershy as they back away some more across the bridge unknowingly.

"No, no! We're going to die, we're going to die! Ponies, Dragons, we're going to die!" Pinkie exclaims frantically before she trips and fell onto the ground.

"Pinkie; you can get up now." Twilight is heard speaking in amusement. Pinkie looks around. To her surprise, everyone is now on the other side of the bridge where the castle's at. "Nice idea in getting them here, Spike, Lorcan. Mean, but nice."

"That will do, you two, that will do." Spike remarks in amusement.

Fluttershy got up, smiling meekly as she said to her friends, "Errr, I knew that; really."

As the gang makes it over the bridge, they hear a noise as voices are heard. Some stones are pushed showing a Pink pony, a Brown Alicorn and a Golden Phoenix. The pink pony says, "I always have shortcuts when needed to make an entrance to the ones we meet."

"Ok but they are staring at us." Golden Heart said. Pinkamena looks and sees them, then waves.

"Hello every..." Pinkamena begins to say but then she trips and tumbles down some stairs as funny noises are made. Golden heart uses magic and teleports to the ground level as Pinkamena reaches the bottom of the stairs, as her brother picks her up and brought the pink pony back to the volcano top, but then gets back up surprising the gang as she finishes, "One."

"Great, a lookalike of Pinkie," Spike groans a bit in irritation.

"Hey, Pinkamena," Pinkie exclaims to Pinkamena happily. "What brings you and Goldie here?"

"Oh, nothing much. Just come to save the princess with my big brother and our phoenix." Pinkamena explains happily to Pinkie.

"Oooh, come along then!"

"What? No!" Lorcan exclaims in annoyance. "We're wasting time as it is."

"Come on. We need all the help we can get." Twilight insists to Lorcan in concern. "Besides, we can't fight the Demon Pony on our own."

"Ugh, she's right. Come on." Spike said with a groan, heading off to the castle. There is no time to argue.

As the others follow Spike, Rainbow asks, "So, where is this dark nasty pain in the flank anyway?"

"Inside, waiting for us to rescue her. Ha ha ha!"

"Lame; I meant the Demon Pony."

The inside of the castle looks abandoned...if you don't count the skeletons and ashes remains of the knights who tried to rescue Rarity and fail to do so. The gang looks around while walking through, worried that the Demon Pony may pop out at any given moment.

"Spoooooky," Pinkamena said with a smirk.

"Any of you afraid," Pinkie ask the others in concern.

"No." Golden Heart said while Gold Wing flies around, looking for any signs as to where Pinkie is at.

"Yeah, but..."

"Pinkie..." Lorcan said to Pinkie with an annoyed frown on his face.

"Yeah," Pinkie ask Lorcan, wondering what he wants.

"Shut up!"

"Okay, good. None o' us are scared either, right?" Applejack ask her friends, though she and the others look a bit frightened upon seeing a skeleton on the floor, making them gasp and rush to hurry up.

Pinkie spoke up quickly, getting frightened, "I mean, there isn't anything wrong with being scared, right? Fear is a sensible response to an unfamiliar situation. Unfamiliar dangerous situation, I got to add." The mare shivers some more. "There is a Demon Pony that mauls ponies to death, eats knights and maybe shoots out magic. It doesn't mean that you're a coward if you're a little scared. I ain't a scaredy pony. I know that."

Spike, having enough, turns to Pinkie, snapping, "Pinkie, two things, okay," The Dragon points off his claws, counting to two, "Shut...up." He and Lorcan grabs a helmet each. "Now then, go over and see if you can find any stairs."

As Spike and Lorcan put some armor on, some of the Mane Five looks confused at this. Rainbow spoke, "Wait, 'stairs'? I thought we were looking for the princess!"

"Simple: the princess will be up on the stairs in the highest room in the tallest tower." Lorcan explains as he put on the helmet to hide his face. No need to scare the princess until the gang can get her out of here.

"How do you know that she will be up there?" Fluttershy ask Lorcan puzzled, wondering how the Dragon even knows that Rarity will be in the tallest tower mentioned.

"Oh, I read it in a book once; Spike?"

"Same here," Spike remarks with a nod. "Golden Heart, Pinkamena? Come with us."

"Goodie! We're going to find the princess!" Pinkamena chuckles as she, Golden Heart, Spike and Lorcan heads off to see if they could find the tallest tower so that Rarity can be rescued.

As the Mane Five are left behind, Pinkie comments, "Right, okay. You four can handle the Demon Pony, we will handle the stairs."

"Oh yeah, we will find those stairs and whip their flanks too!" Rainbow remarks, smirking as she threw some air punches into the air. "They won't know which way they're going when I'm done with them."

The Mane Five heads off to find the stairs. During this time, Spike and Lorcan found some more armor that fits either one of them; So far, so good. Meanwhile, Pinkie and Rainbow continues speaking, feeling confident much to Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy's amusement.

"Right, we are soooo going to take drastic steps. Don't mess with us, we're the stair masters!" Pinkie exclaims, bouncing up and down. "I've mastered the stairs too. I hope there's a step right here so I will trot all over it."

"Wait, have you ponies got the feeling that you're being watch?" Twilight ask in concern. She's right as, unknown to her and the others; a large eye opens up outside a window behind the group.

Meanwhile back with Spike's group, the group looks around for any signs of the Demon Pony and/or the tower. Just then Golden Heart spots something, pointing a hoof while saying, "Look."

The others saw what Golden Heart just found: the tallest tower in the castle and there are curtains swaying in the wind. Rarity must be in there.

"Well, we know where the princess is at." Spike said curiously. "But where's that..."

"DEMON PONY," The Mane Five scream as they run away. A huge black like Demon pony roars, chasing them like mad. They run out of the part of that they're in there and heads to the rest of the group.

"Spike, look out!" Lorcan exclaims as he saw the Demon Pony shooting out monstrous energy blasts at the group.

Spike thought fast and rush over, grabbing the Demon Pony's tail, keeping his hold on it. He yells out, "Gotcha!" However, the monster growls in annoyance as he waves his tail in hopes to get the Dragon off him.

"Spike!"

Lorcan rush over to assist his brother, grabbing Spike to do so. However the Demon Pony proceed in flicking both off his tail, sending them screaming into the air.

"Lorcan," Golden Heart and Pinkamena exclaims in alarm.

"Spike," The Mane Five exclaims in horror to see their Dragon friend being send flying off.

Spike and Lorcan are send flying towards the tower and crash right into the roof, landing in some sort of bedroom, waking up a mare who is behind a curtain on her bed, making her turn to see the two lying on the floor.

"You deal with the Demon Pony; we will help Spike and Lorcan!" Golden Heart exclaims quickly as he and Gold Wing flies off to the direction of the tower.

"See ya!" Pinkamena exclaims as she rushes off after her brother, leaving the Mane Five to the Demon Pony, much to their disbelief.

"Wait, don't leave us!" Fluttershy whimpers. She gasps and whimpers some more as the Demon Pony is chasing them.

The Mane Five quickly rush off to escape the Demon Pony but it ends up cornering them on a bridge, destroying most of it to keep them from escaping. The Mares looks freaked out as their way out are broken off...and there appears to be four figures in black cloaks riding on the Demon Pony.

"Who are those fellers?" Applejack asks in concern and worry.

"Oh, no, no, no," Pinkie exclaims, freaking out as she looks down. The mare and her friends are trapped. The Demon Pony roars at the intruders, apparently planning to attack them right now.

"Girls, allow me to handle this. Uh, what big teeth you got there." Twilight said, trying to reason with the Demon Pony. Of course, it stops, looking confused with its riders. Then it roars at the mares once more, making them yelp. "Wait, I meant 'white sparking teeth'. Yes, you probably heard this all the time from your food, but you must bleach, because you got one great smile."

The Demon Pony blinks a bit, then begins to smile, blushing a bit as if liking the Alicorn's comments. Twilight continues, "Yeah, right. Do I detect of minty freshness?"

Suddenly something odd happens: the Demon Pony spoke, "You know…for an Alicorn, you're pretty cute."

"Who said that?"

"That would have been me."

"You're--. You're--. You're talking!" Twilight gasps in shock. And sure enough, the riders got off onto the bridge as the Demon Pony shrunk down to the normal size of the Mane Five.

"That's right. Let me introduce myself; Benjamin Maregillian at your service…though my friends call me Benny or Ben for short. And these are my friends." The Demon Pony AKA Ben said, introducing himself before nodding to his pals.

The others remove their cloaks and hoods, revealing themselves to be ponies as well, only stallions. One of them is a Earth Pony with an Aqua blue fur, a pink sharp mane and tail, orange eyes, a green medal, and his cutie mark has birthday presents.

The second stallion is a male Pegasus pony with moderate emerald green eyes, a dark grayish phthalate blue mane, a very pale cornflower blue coat, and a yellow lightning bolt with wings for a cutie mark. The pony is also wearing goggles on his head.

The third stallion is another Earth Pony that has a cream caramel coat, a caramel brown mane, and dark cyan eye with three blue horseshoes on his flank.

The last stallion is another Pegasus that had a bright yellow coat and wings; he had a red mane, a green tail, silver grey eyes and a teddy bear cutie mark.

"Brian Tenny, at your service," The first stallion remarks, squeaking a bit, making Pinkie giggle a bit.

"Name's Soarin'." The second stallion comments with a smirk, much to Rainbow's delight.

"Howdy. Name's Caramel," The third stallion waves to the mares, mostly Applejack.

The last stallion looks meekly as he said, "And I'm D-D-D-Dexter." Fluttershy blushes a bit as did most of the girls. These stallions look...handsome and amazing; too bad that they're guarding the princess.

"And what may I ask are your names?" Ben Mare asks the ponies curiously.

Twilight grins as she introduces herself, "I'm Twilight. Twilight Sparkle."

"Name's Pinkamena Diane Pie, but my friends call me Pinkie." Pinkie giggles while bouncing up and down happily.

"Name's Rainbow Dash," Rainbow remarks, holding a hoof into the air while flying a bit.

"Ah'm Applejack." Applejack answers, tipping his hat to the stallions.

"And I'm Fluttershy." Fluttershy said, rubbing her hooves while blushing at Dexter.

"So you're colts...wait, of course, you guys are colts! Yeah, your big Demon Pony friend can grow and shrink and you're all guys!" Pinkie exclaims with a smile. "You are all handsome, reeking of handsomeness..."

"Hey thanks!" Brian Tenny exclaims with a chuckle. "You're cute too."

"Right, cute." Ben said, giving a happy grin to Twilight much to her confusion.

"Uh, what's going on? Got something in your eyes?" Twilight ask Ben puzzled. The stallion then uses his magic to make a heart shape that goes around the Alicorn, making her surprise. "Whoa, wait; really?"

"I think he likes you, Twilight." Rainbow chuckles to Twilight in amusement.

"Yeah, and we like you girls too!" Caramel exclaims, blushing to Applejack, making the girls surprised, blushing a bit. Looks like the Demon Pony and his friends has fallen for the Mane Five big time! Ben made more heart shapes that go around Twilight, making her awkward. She is beginning to like this guy but this may be a bit too close for comfort.

"Err, right, hey, hey. Listen, as much as we'd love to stay and all, but, well, nothing personal, but it isn't going to work out if you keep doing that, okay?" Twilight chuckled. She turns around, shouting, "Spike; Lorcan!"

However the Demon Pony grew back to huge size and grabs Twilight by her tail, carrying her off to a room happily. Fluttershy yelps, "Oh boy."

"No! Spike, Lorcan! Girls!"

"Hang on, we're coming!" Rainbow yells out. She was about to go after Twilight but Soarin' grabs her by the arm. "Hey!"

"Hey, don't go yet! We want to get you to know you girls better!" Soarin' exclaims eagerly. Rainbow saw her friends grabbed by Brian Tenny, Caramel and Dexter (though Fluttershy just let him grabbed her) happily).

Hoo boy, the girls are on unscheduled Dates big time...

Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing flew/climb up the tower and slid down the roof to get inside the room. There's Spike and Lorcan on the floor, getting up. The mare behind the curtain grins as she took a bunch of roses and lie down, putting them on her chest as if she's sleeping.

"Hello! You two okay?" Pinkamena ask Lorcan with a grin.

"No, I like being thrown into the air by mad Demon Ponies." Lorcan remarks to Pinkamena sarcastically. "What the hay do you think?!"

Spike turns and saw the mare sleeping then opens the curtain around her bed. On the bed itself is a purple mane light azure grey female unicorn with light blue eyes and three diamonds on her flank. She is wearing a light pink near seen top with purple collars, pink skirt with gold rims, purple and jewel markings, gold tiara, and probably glass hooves,. This must be the princess Rarity.

Spike nods and leans down as if about to kiss her...but then he grabs Rarity and shaking her awake, yelling, "Wake up!"

"Gah! What, what," Rarity demands in alarm to Spike; Not the wakeup call that she was hoping for.

"Are you Princess Rarity?"

"Yes, I am...awaiting a knight so bold as to rescue me."

"Oh, very lovely," Golden Heart said in amusement. Rarity is even speaking as if she's a princess in a fairy tale.

"Right, nice. Now let's go!" Lorcan snaps in annoyance, having no time for this silliness. If he wanted romantic time, the small Dragon will wait until he is reunited with Luna.

The group prepares to head out until Rarity grabs Spike saying, "Wait, Sir Knights and weird pink pony; this be-ith our first meeting.

"'Be-ith'," Pinkamena asks Rarity puzzled then spoke to her brother. "Do ponies still use that word, Goldie?"

"Maybe some stick with the classics." Golden Heart answers Pinkie with a shrug, Gold Wing squawks a bit.

"Should it not be a wonderful, romantic moment?" Rarity asks Spike happily, leaning back a bit. The group looks either amused or annoyed. This princess is expecting a prince charming to woo her.

"Right, sorry, but there isn't any time." Spike said impatiently. He grabs her by the hoof and drags her to the door while the others follow.

"Wait, what are you doing?! Sir Knight in purple, you should sweep me off my feet out yonder window and down a rope onto your valiant steed."

The group tries to open the door but to no prevail. Lorcan groans a bit, "What is with this stupid door?!"

"You really got a lot of time to plan this, right princess?" Golden Heart asks Rarity who nods a bit, "Thought so."

Spike finally broke the lock with his strength, breaking open the door. The group runs down the stairs, with Rarity exclaiming out in disbelief, "Wait! But we must savour this moment! You could recite an epic poem for me; a ballad; a sonnet; a limerick; anything!"

"Yeah, sorry, not working," Spike said as the group came to a stop in a hallway. This gives Rarity the time needed to get her hoof freed from Spike.

"Well, can I at least know the name of my champions?"

"Oh, my name is Pinkamena Diane Pie and this is my brother Golden Heart and our phoenix Gold Wing!" Pinkamena exclaims happily as Gold Wing squawks a bit. "Sorry, but no offense, but I ain't your type."

"Yeah, same here; No offense either." Golden Heart admits to Rarity with a sheepish smile.

"And my name is Lorcan, but sorry, I got a princess already." Lorcan admits, much to Spike's surprise. His brother got a princess. Lorcan points to Spike, adding, "But my brother here's single!"

"Err, Spike." Spike said, giving out an awkward look to Rarity.

Rarity smiles gently as she clears her throat, giving out a handkerchief to Spike while speaking, "Sir Spike, Lorcan, Golden Heart, Lady Pinkamena and Gold Wing. I pray that you would take this favor as a token of my gratitude."

"Thanks!"

Spike took the handkerchief from Rarity...and uses it to clean his face before giving it back to the mare. She looks at it in disgust as if the handkerchief became something of a disease.

"No worries; Spike is a clean friend!" Pinkamena exclaims to Rarity happily.

Suddenly Ben is heard roaring throughout the cast, much to Rarity's shock. She exclaims to the group, "What?! You didn't slay the Demon Pony?!"

"It's on our to-do list, okay?! Come on!" Spike snaps as he grabs Rarity by the hoof again, dragging her down the hallway as the others follow him.

"Oh, this is not right! Not at all! You are supposed to charge in, sword drawn, banner flying! I mean, that's what the other knights had done!"

"Sure, right before they burst into flames!" Lorcan remarks to Rarity sarcastically, glancing at the ashes remains of a knight on a wall that the group are passing. “Gee, what would they do for an encore?”

"Not the point!" Rarity exclaims. Suddenly Spike came to a stop, causing the others to run into him. Then the Dragon heads for a wooden door off to the side, "Wait, where are you going?!'

"Well, I gotta go save our butts." Spike explains to Rarity with a smile. Of course, he is referring to the Mane Five who is right now being held (so to speak) by the Demon Pony (and his friends).

"Right; I gotta go save them too." Golden Heart remarks as he follows Spike to go after the Mane Five.

"Honestly, what kind of knights are you?" Rarity asks Spike and Golden Heart in concern. What kind of knights would abandon her like this?!

"One of a kind," Spike said with a shrug.

Spike and Golden Heart goes through the door, on a quest to get the Mane Five back, leaving Rarity along with Lorcan, Pinkamena and Gold Wing. Spike's brother pauses then spoke to Rarity, "So...what do you think of the Dragons? Good baseball team, eh?"

And thus, Spike meets Rarity. In the next chapter, the Dragon rescues the Mane Five as they, Rarity and the others make their escape from the Demon Pony and his pals. The unicorn soon finds out her rescuer Spike's true species (along with Loran's), much to her disappointment. And when the gang camp out for the night (with Rarity hiding for some reason), Spike reveals why he prefers to be left alone and why Lorcan was working for Blueblood in the first place. Chapter 5: The Night Out

Spike and Golden Heart enters a room which appears to be beautiful unlike the rest of the castle. As they enter, the two hears Twilight speaking, "Whoa, slow down, hey, slow down. I think it's healthy that I would get to know somepony over a long period of time. Yeah, call me old fashion; Ha ha ha."

The duo sneaks into the room and looks. There's the Demon Pony with one foreleg around Twilight, much to the two's amusement. They also see Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow and Fluttershy, being held by Caramel, Brian, Soarin' and Dexter.

"Listen, I don't wish to rush into a physical relationship right now." Fluttershy said to Dexter meekly. "Right, I am not emotionally ready for a commitment of...well...this magnitude, if that's okay."

"I understand, but...I have been alone for so long, minus my friends being here." Dexter said to Fluttershy meekly.

"Still, Caramel, yer're cute an' y'all, but mah friends an' Ah are on a mission here." Applejack said to Caramel in concern.

"Right, like Fluttershy said ‘magnitude’. Hey, whoa," Rainbow yelps as Soarin' tries to put his wings around the mare, making her back off, "Hey, hey! That's unwanted physical contact, Soarin'! What are you doing?!"

"Oh, sounds like fun!" Pinkie giggles a bit while Brian hugs her though he got a bit silly, making her back off. "Okay, stop it."

"Listen, let's back up a little and take this one hoof at a time." Twilight said to Ben in concern. "We should at least get to know each other first as pals or quill pals."

"Right, same here," Applejack said to Caramel in concern. "Nothing personal..."

"But AJ..." Caramel said in concern. Both Spike and Golden Heart looks amused. The Demon Pony and his pals are in love with the Mane Five; Too bad that the Dragon and Alicorn gotta save them.

"Right, Ah is on 'de road a lot but me an' mah friends would love 'ta git cards an' while Ah y'all wanna stay, but..."

"Hey, hey, don't do that!" Pinkie exclaims in concern as Brian got too frisky, "Personal space, Brian! That's my personal tail, you will tear it off."

"Right, Pinkie didn't give..." Twilight yelps as she saw what Ben is about to do. Spike and Golden Hearts decide that it's time to get their friends out of here. The Dragon spots a chandelier hanging over head and grabs a chain that is pulling it. "Wait, what are you going to do with that?! Hey, wait! No way! No no, no; No, wait; No, argh!"

Golden Heart nods as he, with Spike swinging, heads towards Ben in hopes to knock him down, but they end up missing, causing both to swing right back. Of course, none of the keepers even noticed them yet.

"Come on, Twilight; let me at least kiss you." Ben said, leaning down, preparing to kiss the Alicorn much to her concern.

"Right, same here," Brian Tenny exclaims happily. He, Caramel, Soarin' and Dexter are ready to kiss the other girls...but Golden Heart quickly grabs the four, pulling them out of the way in time. "Hey!"

"Awww, I wanted that kiss!" Pinkie exclaims with a pouty look.

"Sorry, but not today." Golden Heart exclaims to Pinkie with a shrug.

Meanwhile Spike ends up knocking Twilight way, landing right where she was...and causing Ben to kiss his butt instead. When he opens his eyes, the Demon Pony gasps upon seeing what he himself did and angrily roars, "Why you!"

Spike quickly releases the chain, causing the chandelier to fell right onto Ben's head, getting it caught and made into a collar around his neck. Rainbow remarks, "And that's our cue to exit!"

The Mane Five were grabbed as they, Spike and Golden Heart quickly run out of the room to make a run for it. As they rush down the hall, they reunite with Rarity, Pinkie and her clone, grabbing them as the gang makes a rush for it.

"Hi there princess," Pinkie and Pinkamena giggles to Rarity happily.

"Wait, there's two of them?!" Rarity gasps in shock and disbelief upon seeing two Pinkies being held.

"Right, it's getting them to shut up, that's the problem!" Spike remarks to Rarity in annoyance.

The gang stops as they saw a descending site in front of them and saw the Demon Pony chasing them with the chandelier on their neck. Everyone jump on and slid down it every fast. Spike's eyes widened as he saw a crack in the stone coming up...and yelps, becoming cross-eyed when it hits him right in the groin.

"That hurts!" Lorcan remarks in amusement.

Once the group got off the slide, Spike put down everyone and stumbles off, walking lightly as he groans, "Man..."

Golden Heart luckily manages to avoid the crack as he and the group rush off with the mad Demon Pony in hot pursuit. They rush through a room and between pillars. During the mad chase, the Demon Pony unknowingly begins making chain links of the chain that was attached to the chandelier still attached to Ben's neck. Spike's group stops and gasps, moving to dodge the energy blast.

"Okay, you all head to the exit." Spike remarks in determination as he grabs a sword. As most of the gang rush off, the Dragon adds, "I will deal with the Demon Pony."

"Wait, aren't you going to let me help?" Lorcan asks his brother in concern.

"Sorry, this is personal..." Spike then strikes as he stabs the sword...right down in between the several overlapping chain links. With a nod, the Dragon quickly rush back to the others, yelling an echoing voice, "Ruuuuuun!"

The group quickly rushes to the exit as Ben appears, angrily shooting out energy blasts that almost engulf the whole castle. The heroes rush out to the bridge and begin to trots/fly across the lava chasm as the ropes begin to snap off like mad. Everyone grabs it as the bridge swing to the other side. Pinkie and Fluttershy yelps as they fell but Spike and Lorcan grabs them by the tail quickly.

While Spike kept on hanging, they gasps in horror and alarm as Ben flew out of the castle and is about to advance on them. Unknown to him however, the sword that Spike uses between the several overlapping chains suddenly begins to hold them in place...and before the Demon Pony could grab the gang, the chains jerk him back, keeping Ben from getting any further...and these are the kind of chains that kept him from using magic.

The heroes manage to climb and flew to safely and run off. Ben struggles to escape then watch sadly as Twilight looks back in hesitation then follows her friends. He sadly said, "Twilight..."

The gang along with Golden Heart and Gold wing run/fly as Pinkamena says, "Ok, we just need to get down the......" Once again she trips and falls down the stairs again and funny noises are heard as the group makes it down. They see her land but she lands on her hoofs and smiles. "Stairs and this time I was ready, let’s get going."

Rarity lands safely at the bottom of the hill, smiling eagerly as she exclaims, "You all did it! You rescued! You are all amazing!" Of course, while Golden Heart and Gold Wing lands safely, the Mane Five fell down the crashing. "Yes, you are all wonderful! You're..."

Of course as Rarity turns, she saw Spike falling down the hill and bumping into the Mane Five while Lorcan fell down and crash into them. He scowls angrily, "Worst landing ever!"

"Okay, a little orthodox, I'll say. But thy deed is great, and thy heart is pure."

"There's more of that funny talk, Goldie." Pinkamena giggles to Golden Heart playfully making Gold Wing squawks a bit in laughter.

"I am eternally in your debt." Rarity said to Spike with a smile.

"Hey, what about us," Pinkie asks to Rarity with a frown.

"Right, we helped out as well, princess." Applejack reminds Rarity, pointing out that she and her friends did indeed save her...well, sometimes.

"Of course; what would a brave knight be without his noble ponies?" Rarity giggles, hugging Fluttershy a bit, making her giggles a bit.

"Aw yeah; you heard that, guys? She called us noble ponies!" Rainbow exclaims with a smile, proud of what Rarity just called her, Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy. "That felt good."

"Well, that's partially true." Twilight remarks with a proud smile. "We did good...well, some of us."

"Well, the battle has won." Rarity said, giving a lovingly smile to Spike. "You may remove your helmet, good Sir Knight."

Spike and his pals look worried, knowing that Rarity won't be happy to see who's under the helmet. Fluttershy spoke up, "Err, well..."

"Do you want me to do so right now?" Spike asks Rarity uncomfortingly. "Perhaps I will do so later."

"Why won't you take the helmet off now?" Rarity asks Spike puzzled.

"I got helmet hair."

"Come now; I would'st look upon the face of my rescuer."

"Trust me, Rarity. You don't want to." Golden Heart said to Rarity in precaution. There will be trouble if she finds out that her rescuer is a Dragon.

"He's right. No. You wouldn't...'st." Spike said in agreement to Rarity.

"But how will you kiss me?" Rarity asks Spike with a smile. What she said caught the Dragon off guard.

"Wait, what?! Hey, that isn't in the job description!"

"Maybe it's a perk!" Pinkamena suggests to Spike with a grin.

"Right; I mean, she could kiss you on the cheek!" Pinkie exclaims happily, believing that to be the case.

"No, no, it's destiny." Rarity said with a happy sigh. "Come on, you all must know how it goes. A princess is locked in a tower and held captured by a Demon Pony and is rescued by a brave knight. And then they share true love's first kiss."

"Funny, I could've sworn that it was a Dragon that guards the princess." Twilight said puzzled, making Spike and Lorcan growls at her, "Oh, sorry."

"Wait, wait; hang on. You mean...with Spike? You think..." Rainbow begins to say, chuckling a little. "Wait, wait! Are you saying that Spike is true love?"

"As in true love TRUE LOVE,” Applejack ask Rarity in disbelief yet amusement.

"Well, yes." Rarity said with a smile.

A pause, then Spike, Lorcan, Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie and Pinkamena laughs like mad. The brother laughs, "Spike! Ha ha ha! She thinks you're her true love!"

"Guys, girls, not funny," Twilight exclaims to the laughing ones with a frown.

"What's so funny?" Rarity asks the laughing ones puzzled, not sure why they are laughing.

After calming down, Lorcan chuckles, "Lady, face it. My brother isn't your type."

"Eeyup! An' if yew looked at him..." Applejack begins to say, chuckling a bit.

"Well, of course Spike is my type. He rescued me, right?" Rarity snaps to Lorcan and Applejack sternly. Turning to Spike, she continues, "Now please remove your helmet."

"Rarity, look, I don't think this is a good idea." Spike said in concern. He knows that Rarity is in for a huge shock if the Dragon does take his helmet off.

"Just take the helmet off."

"No, I am not going to."

"Take it off!" Rarity snaps to Spike, losing her patience with her rescuer.

"I can't!" Spike exclaims to Rarity in annoyance.

"TAKE IT OFF NOW!!!"

"Eep," Fluttershy screams. Rarity's screaming scares the poor Pegasus mare, enough for her to hide behind Golden Heart, leaving the poor yellow Pegasus pony shaking, "O-o-oh, dear. Spike, do what she says."

"Okay, fine! Take it easy!" Spike groans. The Dragon has no choice now, "As you command your highness."

Spike groans as he proceeds to take his helmet off. Rarity gasps, looking shocked as she sees the Dragon's true face for the first time ever, smiling at her.

"You're...a Dragon?" Rarity asks stunned. Lorcan removes his own helmet, making her gasps. "You're a Dragon too?"

"Yeah, last of the draconian family." Spike said to Rarity sheepishly.

"What, you were expecting Prince Boris?" Lorcan jokes a bit to Rarity, making her groan a bit.

"Well, yes, and but..." Rarity said, still shocked. She sat down, not believing what the unicorn is seeing. "This isn't right. No! You aren't supposed to be a Dragon."

"Rarity, we're sorry, okay? You see, we were sent to rescue you by Prince Blueblood." Twilight explains to Rarity in concern. "That's what we were trying to tell you, sort of. He's the one who wants to marry you."

"Is that so? Then how come Blueblood didn't come rescie me himself?"

Spike pauses as if trying to consider this question. He then said, "Yeah, good question. How about asking him that once we get there?"

"I know the reason: Blueblood is a snobby and too lazy to do any rescuing whatsoever." Lorcan remarks dryly to Rarity. "I worked for him, I know."

"Ahem to that," Rainbow remarked in agreement.

"Oh, that isn't the point! I am supposed to be rescued my true love like a prince or a knight, not some Dragons and his group of peasants!" Rarity, standing up again, complains a bit, being upset over these turn of events.

"Well, so much for noble ponies." Pinkie remarks, frowning a bit while being disappointed by what the princess just said.

"Hey, lady, you aren't making my job easier!" Spike scowls to Rarity angrily.

"Well, sorry, but your job is not my problem! You tell Prince Blueblood that if he wishes to rescue me properly, I will be right here." Rarity remarks sternly as she sat down on a log, crossing her upper fore arms

"Look! I am not a messenger! I am a delivery boy! And you're coming even if I have to carry ya!"

"Ha ha ha! You wouldn't dare." Rarity remarks arrogantly. Suddenly Spike picks the unicorn up and swings her over his shoulder. The mare gasps and hits him, "Hey! Put me down!"

"Hoo boy," Golden Heart comment. Of course, Pinkamena and Rainbow laughs in amusement at this.

"Yeah, cos shaking her is a good thing!" Lorcan laughs a bit. Seeing Spike like this makes his day.

"You others coming or what," Spike ask the others impatiently.

"Right behind you, Spikey," Pinkie exclaims happily, bouncing as she and the others follow Spike while watching Rarity yelling some more, hitting the Dragon's backside some more.

"Put me down or you will regret it! This isn't dignified! Put me down!" Rarity yells out angrily, becoming more frustrated.

"Way behind yew," Applejack remarks with a shrug.

It was a while later that Rarity eventually gave up fighting; she just lies there in Spike's hold looking a bit bored.

"So here's another question. Say there's this stallion that digs you, right? But you really don't like him that way." Pinkie said to Rarity curiously.

"Well, you do, but you don't want to rush into a relationship right now." Twilight said, still blushing over Ben.

"Yep; Sooo...how do you let him down real easily so his feelings aren't hurt but you don't get clawed, burned or destroyed?"

"Just tell the guy that he isn't your true love." Rarity remarks to Pinkie and her friends with a sigh.

"Oh, I see. That makes sense." Fluttershy said quietly.

"Yes, everyone knows what happens after that." Rarity remarked. Spike in annoyance shakes the mare, making her yelp, "Hey, easy! Well, the sooner we get to DuColt, the better."

"Well, you are sooooo going to love it there, Rarity." Pinkamena giggles a bit. "It's so beautiful."

"Well, to the point." Rainbow remarks while rolling her eyes a bit. "There are some details best left unknown until you get there..."

"So...what of my intended, Prince Blueblood? What's he like?" Rarity asks the others curiously. She wants to at least know the prince that wishes to marry her. Blueblood must be dreamy.

Spike smirks as he put Rarity down. As the Dragon watches his face from the river, he spoke mischievously, "Well, Rarity...guys of Blueblood's stature are in...short supply."

Pinkie chuckles a bit, "Yeah, Spike; Everypony thinks...little of him."

"Yep. And he's...short....tempered!" Lorcan jokes a bit, joining in on the fun. It's fun to make short jokes at someone other than the brother himself for once.

"And short minded," Rainbow remarks with a smirk.

"An' short sighted," Applejack chuckles a bit, enjoying the short jokes at the villain's expense.

"Yeah, but he is a ‘little’ intimidating." Fluttershy said, smirking as she made a joke as well.

"He must be." Rariity said puzzled, wondering why the others are trying their best not to laugh.

"And he’s very good at 'small' talk." Spike jokes a bit. The ponies (minus Rarity) pause and then try to hold their laughs.

"Okay, what are you all doing?"

"We’re just saying, you might wanna lower your expectations a bit."

Pinkamena couldn't help but laugh a bit, "Ha ha. Yeah, like," The Pinkie double crouches down for a bit, "three feet or something."

Rarity sighs, "Oh, stop it; All of you. You are just jealous because you can never measure up to great rulers like Prince Blueblood."

"Would you lay off the short jokes?" Lorcan asks, trying to pretend that he was on Rarity's side despite making a short joke himself.

"What are you gonna do about it?" Rainbow asks Lorcan, challenging him to try something.

Lorcan pulls out a black hilt and sheaths his beam sword; the core is white while the color is green. Twilight stops him in time, saying, "Okay, you two stop it. First off, Lorcan, you shouldn't pretend to be on Rarity's side. You were joking too. Second, as for Prince Blueblood, Rarity, you should know that he got a thing for having a perfect kingdom...as well as a discrimination against those different from him."

"Right, right; Anyway, Rarity, you're right too." Spike said while drying himself off. "But tell you what. I will let ya do the 'measuring' once we see him tomorrow."

Upon hearing that, Rarity gasps and saw the sun about to set, much to Lorcan's notice. The white unicorn asks, "Wait, tomorrow?! It will take that long?! Shouldn't we stop to make camp?"

"Nah; that will take longer; we will just keep on going."

"But but...there could be robbers in the woods!"

Pinkie, hearing that, gasps and stops the others, saying, "Whoa, whoa, time out! Camping out sounds good right about now."

"Right and there may be...monsters too." Fluttershy said meekly and scared. "Perhaps we should stop...just for the night?"

"Calm down. My brother Lorcan and I are more scarier than anything in this stupid forest." Spike chuckles a bit in amusement. What could possibly scare him to change his mind now?

Suddenly Rarity gallops in front of Spike, yelling furiously, "I need to find somewhere to camp NOW!!!"

The mare screams so loudly that Spike's group back away from Rarity in shock. Fluttershy gasps as she hid behind Golden Heart once more. Twilight gulps a bit, "Okay..."

"Sounds like somepony been out in 'dat there castle fer too long." Applejack mumbles a bit making Pinkie nods nervously in agreement.

The group found a mountain cliff which they can camp at for the time. Lorcan spots a cave in good order and push a stone boulder out of the way, calling, "Hey, found something!"

The others notice as Golden Heart looks concerned. Pinkie frowns as she spoke, "Awww, Lorcan, come on! We can do better than that!"

"Right; I don't think this is fit for a princess at all!" Pinkamena whines a bit in agreement.

Rarity saw the sun going down further. She gasps while exclaiming, "No, no, no; it's perfect, really! The cave just need a few homey touches, darling!'

"Homey touches? As in what," Spike ask puzzled; suddenly the gang heard a breaking noise, turning to see Rarity breaking a bark off a tree nearby.

"Like a door for one." Rarity said with a smile. She goes to the cave with the 'door', "Well, gentlecolts and fillies, I big thee good night."

Rarity goes into the cave, putting the bark behind her and closing it like a door. Pinkie bounces up and down, trying to peek in while calling, "Hey, princess! Want me to read you a bedtime story since we're out here; because I will!"

"I said goodnight!"

The group looks puzzled. Twilight comments, "Weird. For some reason, she wants to hide in a cave like that...and wanted to camp out instead of heading to DuColt right away."

"Don't think 'dat girl is honest wit' us." Applejack said suspiciously.

Spike looks at the others then smirks mischievously as he prepares to put the boulder back into place. Golden Heart stops him in time, asking, "Spike, what are you doing?"

"I was...you know...awww, come on, I was only kidding!" Spike snaps to Golden Heart as he heads off, much to the glares of the others.

"Geez, it makes one wonder."

It was later that night as the group, minus Rarity still in the cave, sat at the campfire. They look up at the night sky at the constellations with Spike pointing to one, saying, "That there is Garble, the only Dragon who could spit over three wheat fields."

"Right, yeah." Applejack said with a nod.

"So...can you tell our future with these stars?" Pinkie asks Spike curiously.

"I don't think that how it works, Pinkie." Twilight said to Pinkie with a frown.

"She's right. The stars don't tell the future, Pinkie. They tell stories." Spike comments. She chuckles while pointing to a constellation, "Like that one. That's Meatlug the Flatulent. Ha ha ha! I betcha you can guess what he's famous for."

"Awww! Ah know yer're making 'dat up." Applejack remarks to Rainbow with a frown.

"No, no! There he is, and there's a group of hunters running from his stench."

"Oh, yes." Fluttershy said, sprinting a bit as she saw a group of stars leaving a lone one as if running away. "I can see now."

"Awww, man, that ain't nothing but a bunch of little dots." Rainbow remarks with a deep frown to Spike, dismissing his stories.

"Rainbow, sometimes things are more than they appear, hmm?" Spike asks Rainbow as if saying 'don't judge anything without getting to know it first'. Of course, some of the group just looks at him confused. "Oh, forget it."

As the gang rest a bit, Twilight pauses then spoke to Lorcan, "So Lorcan? Let me ask you something: why are you working for Blueblood anyway? He practically hates Dragons."

"She's right and you mentioned having a princess of your own?" Golden Heart asks Lorcan, recalling what the scarred Dragon mentioned back at the Demon Pony's keep.

Lorcan sighs while saying, "Okay, I will talk. Yes, I do have a princess and a true love myself. Her name is Princess Luna."

"Princess Luna?" Twilight ask Lorcan in surprise. "That's the name of my teacher Celestia's sister!"

"So you know her. Good. You see, Luna is the true ruler of DuColt...but one day, Blueblood and some of his loyalists overthrew her and imprisoned her. I really love that mare and didn't wish to see her harmed; Tried to save her, big mistake."

"So let me guess, brother: Blueblood agrees that if you worked for him, he won't hurt Luna." Spike said to Lorcan, guessing right.

"Yeah; I was hoping once this rescue is done, I will be reunited with Luna at last." Lorcan said with a warm smile. He hopes Luna is safe and sound and is wishing to reunite with him soon.

"Speaking of rescue, Spike, what are we going to do once we get our swamp anyhow?" Pinkie asks Spike curiously, recalling what Blueblood promised in exchanged for the rescue.

"Our swamp," Spike ask Pinkie puzzled.

"Right, once we're done rescuing the princess."

"'We'; Hey, look, Pinkie, there is no 'we' at all. Heck, there isn't any 'ours' either! Just me and my swamp...and maybe Lorcan but that's it! And the first thing I will do once this is over is build a 10 ft. wall around my land!"

"Wow, you cut us deep, Spikey Wikey, you cut us real deep just now." Pinkamena said, a bit disappointed at Spike's decision.

"Hmmm, you know what I think." Fluttershy said thoughtfully. "I mean, if you don't mind me by saying this, Spike...but I believe this whole wall thing is some way of keeping somepony out."

"Oh, you think?" Spike asks Fluttershy sarcastically. He turns to his side in hopes to ignore the others.

"Fluttershy is sooooo right. So whatcha hiding," Pinkie ask Spike curiously. Why is the Dragon wanting a wall around his land to keep folks out?

"Look, never mind."

"So this is one of those onion things, right?" Golden Heart ask Spike curiously. He got to know as well.

"Though, it's more of those 'drop it and leave it alone' things?" Spike snaps to Golden Heart in annoyance. The others, minus the concerned Lorcan, just really want to know why their Dragon friend is blocking.

"So how about you don't wanna talk about it?" Pinkamena ask Spike curiously.

"And why do you want to know about it?"

"Why are you blocking it, Spike?" Lorcan asks Spike, making him turn around, getting irritated. "I mean, you should at least let me do the blocking and..."

"I am not blocking, Lorcan, and don't you dare say anything!" Spike growls angrily. He is really losing his patience here!

"Oh yes you are, Spike." Twilight said to Spike with a frown. "You're blocking and don't want to talk about it."

"I'm warning you, folks!"

"So who are you trying to keep out, huh?" Rainbow asks Spike in insistence. "Who are the pests you want to avoid at all times?"

"EVERYONE! OKAY?!" Spike yells out loudly, much to everyone's surprise and concern.

Pinkie nods happily, saying, "Nice! We are Super Duper getting somewhere now!"

"Ugh, for the love of Celestia!"

Unknown to everyone, the door to the cave opens as Rarity peeks out, no one seems to notice her...all but Lorcan who spots her and notices something odd. The hoof that she's using to hold door appears to be a claw. Rarity made a shush sign, wanting him to keep quiet.

As Spike heads to the edge of the cliff, sitting down, the others join him with Applejack asking, "What's 'de' Sam Hill is yer problem?"

"Right, what do you got against the whole world anyway?" Pinkie asks Spike in concern.

"Look, Pinkie. I'm not the one with the problem, okay? It's the world that seems to have a problem with me. People and ponies take just one look at me and go like, 'Ahh! Help, run! Guard your treasure! It's a big, bad, stupid, ugly fire-breathing Dragon!'" Spike exclaims then sighs sadly, looking down. "You see? They judge me before they even know me. That's why I'm better off alone, with the exception of Lorcan."

So that's it. The reason Spike was always alone is that the world judges him for being a monster, without actually getting to know the real Dragon at all. It's sad being alone in a place where almost everyone doesn't want a thing to do with you.

Twilight suddenly nuzzles Spike a bit, saying, "Spike, you know what? When we met, I didn't think you were a stupid Dragon."

"Right, same here," Fluttershy said with a smile. "The rest of us don't think you are like that at all."

"Right, I know." Spike said with a nod. At least there're some people or ponies in the world who think different of them.

"And the truth be told, we felt the same about Lorcan."

"Wait, you do?" Lorcan asks Fluttershy in surprise. She doesn't think him as a stupid Dragon upon meeting him?

"Nope; anyone who is willing to work for a monster just to protect somepony that he loves..." Golden Heart said, smiling as he pats Lorcan on the back. "That's a noble and pure heart there."

Hearing that made the scarred Lorcan smiled gently. It felt good to hear someone say that to him.

Rarity sighs quietly, looking down then closes the bark door. As the gang looks at the sky, Pinkie ask curiously, "So...any ponies up there like me?"

"Well, there's Gabby the Small...and annoying." Spike said, pointing to a star in the sky as if trying to make up a story to make Pinkie feel better.

"Oooh, I see it now. That's the big shiny one up there; that one, right?"

"Pinkie, that's the moon." Twilight said to Pinkie, noting that her pink friend is actually looking at the moon.

"Oh, okay." Pinkie said with a nod.

Lorcan sighed, looking at the bark door that Rarity peeks out, looking concerned. The mare is hiding something and it involves what happens at night, from what Grim mentioned. The scarred Dragon got to find out what that secret is.

Blueblood grins as he sat in his bed back at his castle. His room is filled with inanimate objects that looks like they were the same creatures that the villain tossed into Spike's swamp...that's because they are. Blueblood and his men raided the swamp while Spike and his group were away on the rescue mission and recaptured the fugitives, even turning some of them into his own furniture and play things.

And if Spike fails...well, tough luck either way.

Blueblood at this moment is looking at the image of Rarity with soft music playing by Grim in the mirror. The unicorn spoke, "Oh, Grim, show me again. Mirror, mirror, show her to me. Show me the princess." The skeleton frowns as he rewinds the whole image again, playing the music from the beginning.

As Blueblood grabs a wine bottle and pours himself a drink, he chuckles, "Oh yes, she is perfect...and the time will come when I am king..."

So we find out about why Spike prefers to be left alone. How sad. And what is Rarity hiding? In the next chapter, the white unicorn begins to warm up to her rescuer, which gets intense when the group is ambushed by a group of wolves led by Boss Wolf trying to rescue Rarity themselves! But the unicorn shows that she's more than what she herself seems.

Chapter 6: Friendship Evolves

It was the next morning as Rarity leaves her cave...minus the weird scaly claw from last night. The mare saw Fuzzy and the Mane Five still sleeping. Perhaps best not to disturb them just yet. Rarity heads off into the woods and found Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Lorcan near a bird sitting in a nest on a branch.

"Morning, Rarity!" Pinkamena exclaims happily to Rarity, "Ready for breakfast?"

"I will, darling, but first..." Rarity said, twirling around a bit as she prepares to do some singing.

"Great, a song," Lorcan groans in annoyance. He pulls out ear plugs and places them in his ears. "Proceed."

Rarity begins singing some 'Las', causing the bird to leave its next and sang along. The mare begins singing higher with the bird doing the same thing. As the others watch on, both are singing higher and higher notes with the bird trying its best to catch up. Eventually though, the pressure is getting too much for the bird and then...

BOOM! The group are startled as the bird soon blows up, leaving its feet on the branch. Golden Heart yelps a bit, "Ouch."

"That was fun; do it again!" Pinkamena exclaims happily, bouncing up and down, much to the concern of the others. "What?"

Rarity chuckled, looking a bit awkward that her singing too high causes the bird to blow up. She then spots the eggs in the abandoned nest, all alone and did some pondering.

"Oooh, I think I know what you're thinking." Lorcan remarks with a devilish look on his face.

A while later, Rarity and Golden Heart were making breaking while Lorcan and Pinkamena sat there, waiting anxiously to eat. The smell of food woke up Spike and some of the Mane Five who looks surprised to see what Rarity's doing.

"Oh, yeah, you know I like it like that." Pinkie said in her sleep, while hugging Spike, much to his annoyance. "Come on! I like it."

"Pinkie," Spike snaps to Pinkie in irritation.

"Wake up, wake up!" Lorcan exclaims, shaking Pinkie awake.

"What, huh," Pinkie ask, waking up and looking confused.

"Wake up, sugar cube." Applejack said, shaking Pinkie awake as well.

"What? Huh?"

As Pinkie stretch and yawn, Rarity hums happily as she came up to her friends with some eggs. Fluttershy looks surprised as she ask, "Oh...what's this?"

"Breakfast; Good morning, everyone," Rarity greets the others happily. "So how do you like your eggs, darling? Frieds or scrambled?"

"Oh, morning, princess," Pinkie said happily as she bounces off. Rarity put the eggs right in front of the food, "Oooh, breakfast!"

"Wait, what is this all about?" Spike asks Rarity in concern. Yesterday, she didn't want a thing to do with him and the others. Now the princess is making breakfast?

"Well, I must confess: we got off on a bad hoof yesterday, darling. And I wish to make it up to you." Rarity said, batting her eyelashes at the surprised Spike. "After all, you and your wonderful friends did rescue me and I was being so ungrateful."

"Well, thanks."

"Yeah, thanks." Twilight said with a smile as she has some eggs. "You know, I'm relieved knowing that you're willing to apologize for your behavior yesterday."

"Oh yeah," Rainbow sniffs a bit as she happily licks her lips and have some of the eggs.

"Well, eat up. We've got a big day ahead of us, darling." Rainbow said happily as she walks off to leave her friends to eat.

"Wow! She was nice to make some breakfast." Pinkamena said happily while eating some of the food.

"Yeah, too bad about the bird and her eggs though," Golden Heart comments, feeling concerned for what happened to the bird that just blew up as well as the eggs that got eaten.

"Wait, what bird and eggs?" Fluttershy ask Golden Heart, getting a bit shocked and uneasy by what he's saying.

Once the gang is done eating, they are on their way to Blueblood's castle. While doing so, Spike made one huge belch that echoes throughout the forest.

"Spike," Twilight exclaims, narrowing her eyes at this. Lorcan belches as well, "Lorcan!"

"What? It's a compliment!" Spike explains to Twilight with an eager smile. "Like dad used to say, better out than in; ha ha ha!"

"Still, that ain't no way to behave in front of a princess!" Pinkie scolds Spike and Lorcan for belching in front of Rarity. They just rescue her and the two Dragons are offending her.

Suddenly Rarity belches, much to the surprise and/or shock of the others. The mare giggles happily, "Thanks."

Spike's group looks shocked at this. Rarity doesn't mind the belching? Applejack spoke up, "Dang. She is nasty as yew two brothers are."

"Oh, don't get me started. I'm still shocked about what Golden Heart just told me." Fluttershy said, shuddering a bit. The mare hasn't gotten over the fact that Rarity blew up a bird with such singing then cooks the eggs for breakfast.

Spike with a nervous chuckle spoke to Rarity, "Wow, Rarity; you aren't what I expected."

"Well, darling, you shouldn't judge people before you get to know them." Rarity said slyly. Spike and some of the others looks shocked upon hearing that. The leader said words kinda like that last night! Was she listening in?

Rarity smiles and trots off away from the others, singing softly. Pinkamena smiles, saying, "Well, say what you want about her. She sure sings good."

Suddenly, without warning, a wolf named Boss Wolf swing in and grabs Rarity, taking her into a tree. She yelps while he yells, "La liberte! Hey!"

"Princess," Spike gasps in alarm at this.

"What's going on," Golden Heart demands as the group rush up to see Boss Wolf on a branch with Rarity.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Rarity demands angrily to the wolf.

"Be still, maiden! I am your rescuer, saving you from this purple..." Boss Wolf remarks, kissing up her upper foreleg much to Rarity's disgust who pulls it back. "...beast."

"A wolf saving a girl; that's a new one," Twilight comments in disbelief at this sight.

"So is a Dragon saving a princess too," Rainbow reminds her friends in amusement.

"Hey, that's my princess! Get your own, Big Bad Wolf!" Spike scowls angrily to Boss Wolf. Who is this jerk think he is, trying to take what the Dragon has saved first?!

"Is that Boss Wolf, the leader of wolf bandits that worked for Lord Shen?" Pinkamena ask her brother puzzled.

"Yes, but apparently he survived the confrontation and is now doing hero work." Golden Heart explains to his sister in concern.

"Wow; that is new."

"More like annoying." Lorcan remarks with a roll of his eyes.

"Tell me about it." Applejack remarked, agreeing with Lorcan on his POV.

"Please, please, Dragon. Can't you see I'm busy here?" Boss Wolf asks Spike, ignoring the others while trying to be friendly with Rarity.

Rarity push Boss Wolf bad, snapping angrily, "You filthy mutt, I don't know who you think you are but I don't like it!"

"Oh yes. Of course, how rude of me; allow me to introduce myself; Oh, Merry Wolves!"

Suddenly the gang heard accordion beginning to play from out of nowhere. Soon a bunch of wolves came out of the bushes, one of them is playing the accordion begin to sing.

Wolves: Ta, dah, dah, dah, whoo.

Boss Wolf: I steal from the richl and give to the needy.

Wolves: He takes a wee percentage

Boss Wolf: But I'm not greedy.
I rescue pretty damsels, man, I'm good.

Boss Wolf grins eagerly to Rarity, much to her disgust further.

What a guy, Boss Wolf.

"Break it down." Boss Wolf said as he and his fellow wolves whistle a bit while doing a bit of river dance for everyone, much to their annoyance.

"River dancing wolves; what's next, a peacock joining them?!" Lorcan asks the others in irritation. Once the dancing stops, Boss Wolf resumes the song.

Boss Wolf: I like an honest fight and a saucy little maid

Wolves: What he's basically saying is he likes to get

"Paid." Boss Wolf said quickly, making his wolves whoop. He gave a glare to Spike while the wolves dance, snapping their fingers while advancing on him.

Boss Wolf: So...When a Dragon in the bush
Grabs a lady by the tush
That's bad.

"That's bad!" The wolves said, echoing all over.

Boss Wolf: When a beauty's with a beast it makes me awfully mad.

Wolves: He's mad, he's really, really mad.

Boss Wolf took his sword, making the good guys gasps. He is intending on lunging Spike through...and that blade is sharp enough to go through him apparently!

Boss Wolf: I'll take my blade and ram it through your heart
Keep your eyes on me, boys, 'cause I'm about to start...

But before Boss Wolf could go through on his threat, Rarity swings in from out of nowhere from the tree limb and kicks the wolf, knocking him out. The other wolves gasp in shock as she lands on her hooves.

"Geez, that's annoying!" Rarity exclaims in annoyance.

"Thank you!" Lorcan exclaims in agreement. Rarity's friends look at her in amazement while Spike just does so in admiration. She kicked that wolf's boss!

"Why you," One of the wolves exclaims furiously as he took out a bow and arrow out, firing an arrow at Rarity. Forget the maiden rescue! This ungrateful unicorn is going down!

Rarity manages to duck out of the way in time, causing the arrow to head towards Pinkie who jumps into Spike's arms to move. As the arrow bounces off a tree, Lorcan, Golden Heart and Pinkamena decides to jump in to help Rarity fight off these wolves.

"Got the blade, Pinkamena?" Golden Heart asks his sister who held her sword in her mouth.

"Betcha; their number just came up," Pinkamena remarks as she quickly begins fighting off the wolves.

Rarity gave out a karate yell while Lorcan roars out, "Okay, wolves! Have at thee!"

The four quickly begins fighting off the wolves, blasting, kicking and using their abilities to knock most of them out. Rarity jumps into the air, pausing in mid-air between two of the wolves as if in a movie to fix her. She then proceeds in knocking them down.

Golden Heart gallops off as the wolf with the accordion chasing them. He jumps off a tree to corner his attacker there. The wolf turns and saw him, trying to futilely block his face with his instrument, only for Golden Heart to punch right through it, hitting the wolf in the face and knocking him out.

Lorcan proceeds in kicking and hitting the last wolf until he fell down. Soon all the wolves are down and knocked out onto the ground. Pinkamena grins to Spike's brother, commentating, "Nice job, Lorcan."

"Hey, I didn't become a fighter for nothing!" Lorcan exclaims, dusting his claws off in satisfaction.

"Yes, you are indeed a fighter." Golden Heart said impressed.

Spike and the Mane Five look surprised and stunned. Rarity, Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Lorcan took down those wolves without a sweat. The unicorn smiles as she trots up to Spike, asking, "well, darling, shall we be off?'

As Rarity trots off, Fluttershy exclaims, "Oh my!"

"Remind me never to call Lorcan short again!" Rainbow exclaims with a smile.

"Wait, hold the phone." Spike said in amazement. He drops Pinkie before following Rarity, "Hey, hold on now. Wait up! Where did that come from?"

"What?" Rarity asks Spike confused, not sure what he's on about at first.

"Back there, that was amazing! I mean, I know how my brother practices and know that Golden Heart and Pinkamena did some training...but you? That was awesome! Where did you learn to fight like that?"

"Well, darling, when one lives alone, a lady must learn to take care of herself. In case there's a...there's an arrow in your butt!"

"Huh?" Spike asks in surprise as he turns around. Sure enough, there's an arrow sticking right out of his butt. Must've where the arrow that was shot out by one of the wolves earlier must've landed, "Well, check that out."

Spike does his best to pull the arrow out of himself, but flinches due to his tenderness. Rarity groans in regret, "Oh darling, this is all my fault. I am so sorry!"

The others manage to catch up to Spike and Rarity. Pinkie ask puzzled, "Say, what's going on here?"

"He's hurt!"

"Oh really? That's bad!" Lorcan said, spotting the arrow stuck in Spike's butt.

"Whoa, sugar cube. 'Dat's in there tight!" Applejack said, observing the arrow as well.

"Spike's hurt? Oh no, Spike's hurt!" Pinkie gasps in worry, getting freaked out. "No, no, Spike's going to die!"

"Pinkie, I'm okay." Spike said to Pinkie with a sigh.

"It's just stuck in his butt, no need to make a deal." Rainbow explains to Pinkie, trying to calm her down.

"No, no! You can't do this to me, Spike! I'm too young for you to die! Keep your legs elevated, turn your head and cough!" Pinkie exclaims, overreacting much to her friends' irritation. "Does anypony here know the Heimlich?!"

"Pinkie! Calm down, darling!" Rarity exclaims, stopping Pinkie from her freak out.

"Right, stop worrying, will ya?" Lorcan asks Pinkie with a sigh.

"Look, you want to help Spike? I want you and your friends to run into the woods and find me a blue flower with red thorns in it."

"Right; Blue flower, red thorns," Pinkamena said, nodding in understanding.

"Right, we're on it." Golden Heart said quickly. "I'll go with them to make sure that they don't get lost."

"Blue flower, red thorns; Blue flower, red thorns," Fluttershy said, doing her best to remember what Rarity told her and the others to get.

"Spike, please don't die! Please!" Pinkie exclaims to Spike frantically. "If you see the tunnel, don't go into the light at the end!"

"Pinkie," Spike, Rarity, Lorcan and Twilight yell out to Pinkie in annoyance.

"Oh, sorry; Right, let's go."

"Right, got to find that dumb blue flower with red thorns; what's the big deal?" Rainbow asks herself as she and the others rush off into the woods, leaving Spike and Rarity alone. They got a mission to do.

"So what are the flowers for?" Spike asks Rarity curiously.

"For getting rid of Pinkie of course." Rarity said to Spike with a nod. Apparently, her request was to get rid of Pinkie as well as the others so that she can get the arrow out without any further interruptions or freak outs.

"Oh, yeah, I see."

"Now, to hold still, Spike; I will try to yank this thing out."

Rarity grabs the arrow with her teeth trying to pull it out. Spike feels the pain and jumps away, yelping, "Whoa, whoa, easy with the yanking!"

Spike does his best to keep Rarity away from her as she tries to get at the arrow. She snaps, "Come on! It has to come out!"

"No, no, it's tender!"

"Hold still."

"What you are doing is the opposite of helping!" Spike insists, pushing Rarity away frantically. The last thing he wants is to feel any further pain.

"Don't move!" Rarity exclaims with a frustrated sigh. Why must Spike be a big baby?

"Whoa, hey; Time out!"

"Would you..." Rarity snaps, but groans as Spike put a claw over her face to keep her from the arrow. She finally gave up, sighing, "Okay, fine; any idea what we should do?"

The Mane Five and their groups, unaware that their quest is a fool's errand, looks around for the flower that Rarity mentioned; they found an area with flowers and thorns...though Pinkie and Pinkamena doesn't seem to notice the colors.

"Blue flower, red thorns; Blue flower, red thorns," Pinkamena mumbles a bit. "Wow, this is hard."

"Would've been easier if we weren't so colorblind," Pinkie whines a bit to her friends as if the pink ponies are colorblind.

"You aren't colorblind, Pinkie." Twilight remarked, rolling her eyes at the claim.

"Oh yeah; which one of us is colorblind again, Twilight?"

Suddenly Spike is heard screaming from where he's at. Lorcan remarks, "Looks like my little brother is hurting thanks to our dear princess."

"Hang on, Spike!" Fluttershy exclaims as she grabs a flower with her mouth. "We're coming."

The gang rush back to Spike and Rarity in hopes to help their Dragon friend in time. During this time, Spike groans while struggling a bit, "Owie. Man, not good."

"Okay, hang on. I can see the head nearly." Rarity said with a nod. She is pulling harder on the arrow while Spike held onto a log, grunting to help with the progress. "It's almost..."

Spike kept on groaning then he jerks, causing him to fall onto Rarity, resulting in a fall that got her on top of him. Both of them blush a bit wildly. It looks...a bit comfortable with them, lying down like this.

"Ahem." A familiar voice spoke up. The gang turns and saw the others returning, looking amused. Rainbow, the one who coughs, spoke in amusement, "Getting comfy, lovers?"

Spike in alarm threw Rarity off of him, insisting, "Hey, nothing happened, really. We were just, well..."

"Awww, if you two wanted to be alone, just ask us, okay?" Pinkie asks Spike and Rarity in amusement. To her, the two wanted some alone to have some 'fun'.

"Right, sugar cube; we can y'all leave again if y'all want." Applejack remarks to Spike with a slight chuckle while Twilight smiles, shaking her head in amusement.

"Come on! That's the last thing on my mind right now! The princess here was just..." Spike was interrupted as a smirking Rarity uses her magic to pull the arrow out, making him wince a bit. He turns and looks at the mare who held the arrow with a smile. "Ow."

"Oh dear, what's that? Is that blood...is that..." Fluttershy said with a nervous chuckle.

Fluttershy made a goat sound as she fell to the ground, fainting. Twilight sighs, "Fluttershy."

Spike chuckles as he came over and picks up Fluttershy. The gang continues on their way back to the castle with Pinkamena comment happily, "This turns out to be one weird day."

Well, Spike and Rarity are becoming closer, don't you think? In the next chapter, the two get more closer until the gang stops for the night, eating and such. The Mane Five, Lorcan, Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing finds out why Rarity doesn't want to be out after sun set which led to be a misunderstanding involving Spike. Read, review and suggest.

Chapter 7: The Shocking Secret of Rarity

The gang continues onward to the castle of DuColt. Rarity and Spike begins to get closer as a song begins to play.

Spike got on a tree to cause it to fall over a small brook, allowing Rarity to make it across without getting wet.

Wearin' a raincoat
that has four sleeves
Gets us through all kinds of weather

Once Rarity, Lorcan, Golden Heart, Gold Wing, Twilight and Fluttershy made it across to the other side, Spike smiles towards Rairty and got up to follow her. And just before Pinkie, Rainbow, Applejack and Pinkamena would get across, the tree swings back up right, causing to four to go flying while screaming.

She will always be the only thing

Spike is seen trying to swat at a bunch of flies and mosquitoes that are bothering him with Lorcan doing the same time. Rarity decides to help by grabbing a nearby spider web from a tree branch. As the others watch, she runs through the field, using the web to catch the bugs. Once Rarity's done, she gave the bugs trapped on the web to Spike. The Dragon smiles as he eats it like cotton candy, much to the disgust of some of ponies, especially when Rarity licks her hooves while they head onward.

That's so damn mean

A bit later, Spike grabs a toad and blow it up like a balloon, presenting it to Rarity. The white princess smiles as she uses her magic on a snake, blowing it up and fashioning the thing into a balloon puppy. Rarity presents it to Spike who happily takes it; the others smiles in amusement (well, maybe not Lorcan) as the two held hoof/claw.

Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh

Rarity playfully nudges Spike, making him remarks, "Hey!"

La-la, la-la, la-la-la-la

Both of them nudges each other until Spike knocks Rarity down. The white unicorn laughs playfully as she chases Spike into the field, the two releases their balloons which float into the air, touching. The friends begin to expect that this is love forming right here.

It took a while but the gang arrives at a windmill which is not too far off from DuColt. Spike sighs as he motions to it to Rarity, saying, "Well, there it is, princess. Your future is waiting for you."

"That's DuColt?" Rarity asks in shock and surprised at the place. This is definitely the castle that was rightfully ruled by Luna until Blueblood took it from her. And she is going to live there?

"Shoot, ain't too much but its home 'ta some other folks." Applejack remarks to Rarity with a nod. The cowpony didn't have the heart to tell the mare of how Blueblood is teaching his citizens and the fugitive creatures.

"Right, same here," Pinkie giggles a bit, "You know, Spike thinks that Prince Blueblood is compensating for something and I think it means that he has a really..."

"Pinkie," Lorcan scowls as he kicks Pinkie, making her yelp in pain. No need for Rarity to learn more than she has to.

"Well, better get moving." Spike said, looking away a bit sadly. He was getting fond of Rarity, shamed that the two must now part once the princess is given to Blueblood.

"Oh dear," Fluttershy whispers to her friends in worry, "I think Spike likes Rarity. It doesn't seem right letting her be given to someone like Blueblood."

"Yeah, but whatcha gotta do?" Rainbow asks Fluttershy with a shrug. "The sooner we get this done, the sooner Spike get his swamp back, right?'

Rarity hesitates as the gang prepares to leave. She doesn't want to leave Spike so soon. The mare wanted to get to her rescuer/friend so very well. She then got an idea on how to spend more time with Dragon.

"Yes, of course, but Spike? Everyone," Rarity ask with a look of pretend concern on her face. "I'm...I'm worried about Pinkie."

"Huh?" Spike asks Rarity puzzled.

"What do you mean?" Golden Heart asks Rarity, puzzled.

"Right, Pinkie's doing fine as usual." Twilight said to Rarity with a frown.

"Twilight, look at the poor darling." Rarity said, pointing a hoof at Pinkie while being so dramatically about it. "Oh dear, she doesn't look so good."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Pinkie asks shocked and confused while looking at herself. "I'm all right."

"Yes, but what they always say." Rarity said seriously as she trots up to Pinkie, looking at her in the eyes in concern. "And before you know, you're on your back; as in...dead?"

Spike and some of the others slowly realize what Rarity's up to. She wishes to stay around a while instead of going back to DuColt right away. Some of them nodded as did Lorcan who comments, "Say, she's right."

"Right, you do look awful, Pinkie? Do you want to sit down?" Spike asks Pinkie in pretend concern.

"Right; Oh, I can make you some treats." Fluttershy said to Pinkie gently.

"indeed , I will also make you some tea." Rarity remarks to Pinkie eagerly. The pink pony giggles, deciding to play along with this.

"Well...I didn't want to say anything but I do have this weird twinge in my neck. And when I turn my head like this, I mean, look!" Pinkie insists, turning her neck in a sharp way. Soon her head is completely sideways. "Ow; See?"

"Yeah, same here," Pinkamena exclaims as she turns her own neck.

"Ugh. As usual, you two are so random." Rainbow remarks in amusement by the two pink ponies' behavior as well as what they always do.

"I agreed. So is anypony hungry?" Golden Heart asks the others with a smile, "May as well get something to eat until we can move on."

"I will find us some dinner." Spike said as he heads off to find something for everyone to eat.

"I will get the firewood, darling!" Rarity exclaims happily as she heads off for some firewood.

"We will set 'de table up." Applejack remarks as she, Twilight, Rainbow and Fluttershy heads off to set a table for everyone to sit at while eating.

As the gang split up to do their certain tasks, Pinkie looks confused as she ask in worry, "Wait, where are you going?! Oh horse feathers! I can't feel my toes!" The mare looks down then gasps. "Yikes! I don't got any toes! Oh, I think I need a hug."

"I will give you one!" Pinkamena exclaims as she hugs Pinkie who hugs her right back. Yes, it's odd to see the same pony hugging one another...but this is Pinkie we're talking about, right?

It was almost sunset that evening. Spike with Golden Heart and Lorcan's help was able to build a fire and was cooking their dinner. Rarity was in the middle of eating, impressed as Spike has cooked it for her.

"Wow, this is amazingly good." Rarity mumbles as she bites into whatever Spike has made, "Really good, darling. What is this?"

"Well, that's weed rat. Rotisserie style," Spike explains sheepishly.

"No kidding, huh?"

"Luckily, Goldie and I preferred carrots. Yum!, Pinkamena hums happily as she eats her carrot happily.

"Me; I only eat fish." Lorcan remarks, taking another bite out of his fish.

Rarity takes another bite from her food, saying, "This is yummy."

"Right, say the pony whose killed birds for their eggs." Golden Heart jokes a bit to Gold Wing, making the phoenix squawk a bit in mischief.

"And those babies are great in stews." Spike remarks with a proud look on his face. "Now don't take this for me to be bragging but I can make a mean weed rat stew."

Rarity giggles a bit then sighs sadly as she looks at the kingdom that is almost closer, "Well, come tomorrow night, I will be dining a little bit differently." Spike gulps down his meal, doing some thinking.

"Well, I hope you don't mind me by asking...by maybe you can visit me and Lorcan, if he decides to visit, in my swamp sometime. I will cook up all kind of stuff for ya like swamp toad soup, fish eye tartar, etc. Heck, you name it, I will make it."

"Ugh," Pinkamena remarks, tossing her carrot away in disgust. "Okay, I am creepy and all but I officially lost my appetite."

Rarity on the other hoof doesn't seem to mind. She smiles warmly to Rarity, saying, "Thank you, darling. I'd like that." Spike slurps up his rat tail, smiling warmly to the unicorn.

Rarity and Spike looks at each other in the eyes. Golden Heart grins, noting this. He speaks to Lorcan, "Remember the love you and Luna got for each other?"

"Yeah I know. My brother is experiencing it now." Lorcan said with a slow nod. He doesn't need to ask or interfere to bother. His brother has fall in love with Rarity. And the princess is with him.

"Err, Rarity?" Spike asks Rarity softly, leaning closer to her.

"Yeah, Spike?" Rarity asks Spike with a warm smile.

"Well, I was wondering...uh, that is to say..." Spike said, beginning to say. The four watching look on hopefully. What is it that their friend wanted to say?

Just remember, darling all the while

"Well, are you..." Spike said, hesitating a bit. He got to say what he himself wanted to say...that the Dragon is having a special...'feeling' for her.

You belong to me

Spike soon gave up, sighing as he points to the rat, asking, "Any chance that you're going to eat that?"

Rarity sighs as she prepares to give the rat to her. However the mare just smiles to Spike, both of them are leaning closer and closer. The four watch in anticipation. Could this be it...?

However Pinkie appears between the two lovers, asking happily, "Wowie, isn't this romantic?"

"Pinkie," Twilight groans in annoyance as she, Applejack, Rainbow and Fluttershy came over. The mare can tell that there is a romantic moment about to be happening and Pinkie went and ruin it.

"And look at that sunset!"

Suddenly Rarity gasps in horror as the sun is about to set. Lorcan then spots something changing with Rarity's tail, causing her to hide it in time. She is definitely about to try to hide again!

"Sunset; Oh my, oh no," Rarity exclaims, jumping up in alarm. "Err, it's late, very late, darling!"

"Huh?" Spike asks confused, wondering what's wrong.

"What's wrong, Rarity?" Fluttershy ask Rarity in concern.

"Hang on. Fluttershy, isn't it obvious? I know what's going on here." Rainbow remark, narrowing her eyes a bit. Rarity gasps, worried that her secret is exposed and this Pegasus pony is about to reveal it. "You are scared of the dark, aren't ya?"

Rarity sighs a bit in relief. Good, her secret is safe. She said with a nod, "Yes, that's it, darling. I'm scared." The mare heads to the stairs that leads to the front door of the windmill. "I should go inside, yes!"

Rarity quickly goes into the windmill. Pinkamena rolls her eyes, saying to her friends, "Suspicious!"

"Come on, I'm sure Rarity has a good reason for wanting to get inside the windmill." Twilight said to Pinkamena with a sigh.

"Awww, don't feel too bad, Rarity. I used to be scared of the dark too until..." Fluttershy begins to say, trying to cheer up her friend. Then the yellow Pegasus pony gasps in horror as she rush to hide behind the table, "Eep; Wait! I'm still scared of the dark!"

Spike sighs a bit and looks up to Rarity who peeks her head out for a moment, smiling to him while saying, "Well, night Spike."

"Yeah, night, Rarity," Spike said with a smile. Rarity quickly goes back into the windmill, closing the door. The others note Spike's goofy behavior and smile as he watches her does so. It doesn't take long for them to figure out what's going on.

"Ooooh; I think we all know what's going on here!" Pinkie exclaims happily to Spike, snapping him out of his stupor.

"Oh, come on, Pinkie. What are you talking about?"

"Come on, Ah is a honest pony an' Ah don't wanna hear it. Ah doesn't need Pinkie Sense 'ta know 'dat yew and Rarity are liking each other." Applejack said to Spike with a sly grin.

"She's right, Spike. You and her are definitely in love." Twilight said to Spike with a smile. "Imagine that."

"You both are crazy!" Spike scoffs as he heads over to the fire to fix it. "I am bringing her back to Blueblood, remember?"

Lorcan scoffs a bit at this claim, "Forget it, Spike. I know deep down that you don't want to. He doesn't deserve her. You do like how me and Luna deserved one another."

"Lorcan, you realize that if I don't give Rarity to Blueblood, you may never see Luna again?"

"Well, true, but..."

"Come on, Spikey Wikey, wake up and smell the cupcakes!" Pinkie exclaims to Spike in determination. "Go in there and tell Rarity how you feel!"

"Yes, you should. Otherwise, Rarity will be gone forever." Fluttershy said to Spike, going over and patting him on the back. "Just tell her."

"Pinkie, Fluttershy, I appreciate the support but...there isn't anything to tell!" Spike groans a bit, shaking his head. The truth be told, he does have a bit of love...maybe even more. But it's complicated. "Even if I did tell her that...well you know...I ain't saying that I do because I don't! You forget that she's a princess and I'm..."

Spike goes over to the hill and sat down, looking at DuColt in sadness. Twilight finishes for him, "A Dragon?"

"A Dragon, yeah."

"Spike, brother , listen. Luna is a princess and I am a Dragon too." Lorcan explains, trying his best to help his brother. "Despite our differences, we love each other deeply. Now if that can prove that love can overcome even the outer appearances, then it should be with you and Rarity."

"This is...difference." Spike said as he got up and prepares to head off.

"Hey, where are you going?" Pinkie asks Spike puzzled.

"Um ..... I'm just gonna sweep something."

As Spike heads off, the others saw a broomstick nearby, abandoned and not bother going to be used, especially since their Dragon friend isn't going towards it. They all look concerned. Spike just cannot bring himself to tell his true feelings for Spike.

"Should we help him?" Rainbow asks the others in concern.

"Best to give him some time alone." Golden Heart answers Rainbow with a sigh. "He needs time to think."

"Right; I can only hope Spike do the right thing and tell Rarity how much he really feels." Twilight said as she watches Spike go over to another hill, sitting down and doing some thinking.

Will Spike give Rarity to Blueblood just to get his swamp back? Or will he tell her how he himself truly feeling?

It was after dark as the gang minus Spike who is still thinking on what to do decide to go into the windmill to check on Rarity. As they walk inside, their unicorn friend is nowhere in sight.

"Uh, princess," Pinkie ask puzzled, looking around for Rarity.

"Princess Rarity," Golden Heart asks in concern, glancing around the windmill.

"Hey, princess, where are ya?" Lorcan asks Rarity as he looks around the place with a frown. "We wanna talk with you."

"Princess; now where should she be?" Rainbow asks with a frown.

Unknown to the gang, something is in the rafters above, looking at them, hiding in the shadows. She can't let them see her...not like this or it's all over.

"Eep; It's very spooky in here." Fluttershy said, getting scared of the dark atmosphere. The mare is almost tempted to run out of the windmill right now.

"Hey, Rarity, come on. This is no time for games!" Rainbow snaps in annoyance while looking around.

Gold Wing look up and saw the figure and squawks to the others. Pinkamena ask the phoenix puzzled, "What is it, Gold Wing? Something startled ya?"

The figure gasps as Gold Wing has indeed spotted her. She was trying to move into safely but slips and fell from the ceiling. The group turns and looks shocked and/or alarmed as she stood up, making Pinkie frightened, making her gasps, "Eep!" The figure is revealed to be a sleek white dragon with royal purple hair, "A DRAGON!"

"EEP! Another one," Fluttershy gasps in fright. She may have gotten used to Spike and Lorcan by now but this one appears to have come from out of nowhere!

"No, wait, wait!" The Dragon gasps as she grabs some of the group, keeping them from running off.

"No, help us, help us!" Pinkamena exclaims frantically, struggling to get out.

"Shhh, Pinkamena, quiet!"

"Let us go, ya vermint!" Applejack exclaims, trying to get freed herself. "Spike! Spike, Spike, Spike!"

"Girls, it’s okay, it’s okay," The Dragon exclaims in a familiar voice, trying to calm the ponies down without them alerting Spike to her presence.

Lorcan growls angrily as he got his claws out, his scar glows while he demands, "Okay, who are you?! What did you do to the princess?!"

"I am the princess."

"You're a liar!"

The ponies scream frantically. Golden Heart then notices something about the Dragon, speaking, "Wait; calm down; everyone, calm down!"

"It's me...in this body." The Dragon said, trying to calm the screaming ponies and the upset Lorcan down.

Lorcan finally calms down, finally realizing to his surprise as he spoke, "Wait...you mean..."

"Eep; She ate the princess!" Pinkie screams out in terror, fearing the worst. This new Dragon went and ate Rarity and right before Spike could tell her how she feels; shouting to the stomach, she calls out, "Rarity! Can you hear me?!"

"Pinkie," Some of the group exclaims to Pinkie in annoyance. They eventually calm down and begin to realize what's going. She is the only one who doesn't seem to et it.

"Listen, keep breathing! I will get my cannon and blow you out of there!"

"Pinkie," Rainbow exclaims to Pinkie in annoyance.

"Spike; Spike," Pinkie calls out frantically to Spike once more.

The gang quickly covers Pinkie's mouth to keep her from yelling anymore. The Dragon finally spoke gently, "Pinkie, it's me...in this Dragon's body. I'm the Dragon."

Pinkie blinks a bit as she looks into the Dragon's eyes...and recognizing them as Rarity's. The pink pony now saw a familiar Cutie Mark on the side. It didn't take her longer to realize the truth: this Dragon is really Rarity.

"Rarity; is that really you?" Fluttershy ask Rarity, making the Dragon nod in sadness.

"I don't believe it." Pinkamena said in amazement and disbelief by this turn of events.

Once Rarity lets Pinkie's mouth go, Lorcan sighs, speaking as if he knew all along, "Somehow I knew it. Whenever you hide out at night...I should've realized that this is what happens."

"Rarity; what happened to you?" Pinkie asks Rarity, stunned by her appearance.

"Yeah, you're well...uh...different." Twilight said in hesitation, wanting to explain Twilight without hurting her feelings.

"I'm ugly, okay?" Rarity asks in sadness as she walks away from the others.

"Awww; you ain't ugly! In fact, you are pretty...for a Dragon!" Pinkamena exclaims happily, trying to cheer up the depressed Rarity.

"What happened? Was it something you ate?" Fluttershy ask Rarity in concern. "I will be honest: I told Spike eating those poor rats was a terrible idea. I always say 'you are what you eat' and..."

"It isn't that, Fluttershy. I've always been this way, darling." Rarity explains to Fluttershy in sadness.

"Wait, what do yew mean?" Applejack ask, puzzled by that. "We don't haven't seen yew like 'dis before."

"Right, how come you never show us this until now?" Twilight ask Rarity gently.

Rarity looks into water in a barrel, looking at her reflection. She sighs sadly while explaining, "This happens whenever the sun goes down; 'by night one way, by day another. This shall be the normal...until you find true love's first kiss...and then take love's true form'."

"Awww, beautiful; didn't know you wrote poetry too," Pinkie said, sniffing happily.

"Uh, Pinkie; I think that's a spell." Rainbow explains to Pinkie worried.

"She's right. It means that I must fall in love with someone then I will be back to normal." Rarity explains sadly. "You see, when I was a filly, a terrible witch casted a spell on me. Every night I become this," The Dragon groans angrily as she splashes the water, "This horrible ugly Dragon like beast!"

"So is that why you ended up in that tower?" Golden Heart asks, now understanding why Rarity was put in that tower in the first place.

"Yes! I was put there to wait for the day when my true love would come rescue me. That's why I must marry Blueblood tomorrow and before he sees me like this!"

Rarity sobs in sadness, sitting down a bit. Lorcan sighs, saying, "Listen, Rarity. I'm sorry to hear that."

Fluttershy gives a hanky to Rarity so that she could wipe her tears off. Pinkie, trying to cheer her up, spoke up, "All right, calm down, Dragon lady. It isn't that bad. You're not ugly ugly. Well, okay, I can't lie, you are a bit ugly but you are well..."

"Pinkie; let me explain." Golden Heart said before turning to Rarity. "Look, you are only like this at night. It isn't all bad."

"Spike on the other hoof is ugly 24/7." Pinkamena chirps up, making the others glare at her. "What? It's true!"

"But everyone, I'm a princess. This isn't how a princess is supposed to look." Rarity sobs in sadness. She is supposed to be a princess that is a beautiful, not a Dragon!

"Well, listen, why bother marry that jerk Blueblood? Why at all?" Lorcan asks Rarity gently, trying to help her out. "Just forget him."

"I have to. Only my true love's kiss can break the spell...and you want to have Luna back. I can't just avoid helping others. It wouldn't be generous of me."

Pinkie did some thinking, then realize something. She spoke up, "Well, Rarity...you are a Dragon and so is Spike. You both got a lot in common."

"Spike," Rarity ask Pinkie in surprise.

"She's right, sugar cube." Applejack said, seeing what Pinkie is talking about. "Yew an' Spike definitely got it big fer one another."

"Right; you shouldn't have to marry someone you don't love. Deep down...you love Spike more." Twilight said, making Rarity think about this though in hesitation.

It was during this time that Spike was heading to the windmill with flowers that consist of a rose, a sunflower and a dandelion. He remembers what his brother and his friends told him. They are right. Spike must tell Rarity how he feels before it's too late; But how to say it?

"Ahem. Okay...hey, Rarity? Uh...how is it going, first off? Good? Well same here. Yeah, I'm okay too. Errr, I found these flowers and thought of you because...they're pretty...well, I don't like them at all. But I figure you would since you're pretty. Still, I like you anyway. I'd...err, uh...oh man, I'm in trouble." Spike mumbles himself in worry. He is so going to screwed up in telling his feeling. Still, the Dragon is about to knock on the door so may as well give it his shot. "Okay, here goes."

Spike was about to knock when he hears Rarity speaking. Puzzled, he leans to the wall to listen in as she speaks, "Look, I can't marry whoever I want, darlings. I mean, take a good look at me. I mean, who could ever love someone so ugly, stupid and that could steal treasure?! Face it, 'ugly' and 'princess' do not go together at all! That is why I cannot stay here with Spike!"

Spike looks stunned and heartbroken. Rarity must be talking about...and she is insulting him while speaking with the others. He back away, after all this time, the Dragon thought that the two are starting to have a connection...when there isn't any to begin with.

"My only chance to live happily ever after is to marry my true love, that's that." Rarity said with a sigh.

Spike narrows his eyes, sighing deeply. With an angry look, he threw the flowers to the ground and stomps away. If that spoiled brat would rather marry Blueblood, then fine; Time to get this over with.

Back inside, Rarity, unaware that Spike was listening in, sighs as she asks her friends, "That's just how it has to be. It's the only way for the spell to be broken."

"Well, come on, you got to at least tell my little brother the truth." Lorcan said to Rarity in concern.

"Oh, he's right." Rainbow said with a nod. "Spike will understand what you're going through."

"No, don't, please!" Rarity gasps in horror. She can't let Spike know, he may not understand! "You all must not breathe a word, no one else besides you all must know!"

"Awww, come on! What's the point of talking all day if you gotta keep secrets?" Pinkamena ask Rarity with a pouty look.

Rarity sadly pleads to her friends, "Please don't tell Spike!"

Applejack disagrees, shaking her head while saying, "Sugarcube, it'd be way more better 'ta be honest than lying."

Pinkie gave an evil eye to Applejack, asking, "So you'd rather break another Pinkie Promise?" She gave her friend more evil eyes, freaking her out. The last time that the cowpony broke a Pinkie Promise, it wasn't pretty at all.

Applejack, with her eyes getting freaked out, insists, "No, but it's just that-"

Fluttershy looks unimpressed as she adds, "She also preferred to cause animal cruelty rather than sharing half of the apple tree with the fruit bats, and letting one of her own friends go against her Element of Harmony just for-"

Applejack soon freaks out, yelling, "Okay, okay!..." She sighs while rolling her eyes, "Now I know how Shadow the Hedgehog feels..."

"Fine, calm down, okay, we won't tell anyone." Golden Heart said with a sigh. If Rarity insists that Spike and no one else must ever know, the group may as well respect her request.

"Right, you got our word." Pinkamena said as the group leaves the windmill to head to sleep for the time.

Lorcan however turns to Rarity who watches them go, saying, "But I think you should. My little brother can be sensitive when certain secrets are kept from him. I don't want Spike to feel hurt if he finds out from another source, something cruel."

"Right, I'm beginning to respect Spike like a brother or a son. I don't want him to feel lonely or hurt here." Twilight said seriously to Rarity. "You should tell him, please, for his sake."

"I gotta tell ya, ponies and Lorcan, when this is over, I am going to need a Super Duper bunch of serious therapy." Pinkie said as her eye twitches. "Look at me, my eye is twitching."

As Rarity watch her friends go, she pauses, remembering what Lorcan and Twilight. They are right, Spike will be hurt if he finds out from another source...or will never know and could be sad and lonely without her should that happened. But Rarity is worried as to how the Dragon would react should she does tell him.

Rarity then saw the flowers on the floor and picks up the sunflower, doing some thinking as she goes back into the windmill; Time for fate...and picking the petals off the sunflower...to decide.

Author's note
Rarity's curse is revealed...and poor Spike's feelings is hurt because he thought she was talking about him. In the next chapter, the Dragon bitterly gives her to Blueblood then snaps at his friends before abandoning them. But will true love and friendship ever emerge? Read, review and suggest.

Pinkie and Fluttershy are referring to two episodes with Applejack that involves her doing bad stuff.

I got only 3 chapters of this fanmake left and I'm done. Sorry for the wait on this chapter but I run into complications. Anyway, here we go!

Chapter 8: True Feelings

It was almost morning as everyone is outside the windmill sleeping...minus Spike who appears to be missing and Rarity who is still inside the windmill, trying to decide if she should tell him the truth. Pinkie was dreaming pleasant dreams, smiling while doing so.

Inside the windmill, Rarity is down to plucking the last pedals off the sunflowers, saying, "I tell him...I tell him not. I tell him. I tell him not." The princess smirks as she saw the last pedal and plucks it off. "Yes! I tell him!"

Rarity heads outside with a smile of hope on her face and in her heart. Forget Blueblood, forget breaking her curse. She wants to tell Spike the truth once and for all...and tell the Dragon as to how she really feels about him.

"Spike; Spike, darling," Rarity calls out in determination as she looks around outside, "There's something that I must..."

However Rarity can't find Spike anywhere, only the ones who knew her secret last night. As Lorcan woke up, the sun begins to rise; As he watches once the sun is completely out, Rarity transformed until she is once again her princess self. So that's how the transformation works.

"Looks like you're back to yourself." Lorcan commented to Rarity in observation.

"Yes." Rarity said with a nod. Just then she and Lorcan saw a familiar Dragon coming up the hill. It's Spike but he appears angry with his face scowling. Rarity, concerned, ask, "Spike? Are you okay, darling?"

"Oh yeah, right. Never better." Spike remarks sarcastically to Rarity.

"Errr, wait, I don't..." Rarity said in concern. Spike just passed her as if she doesn't exist to him. "Spike, there's something that your brother and I must tell you."

"Awww, save it, drama queen! I've heard enough last night."

"Wait, you heard what I said?"

"Right, every word," Spike snaps angrily to Rarity. Lorcan notes the anger look on his face and is worried. He thought that his brother would understand.

"Spike..." Lorcan begins to say to his brother. "I thought you of all Dragons would understand."

"Oh yeah, I understand. Like what Rarity said 'who could ever love someone so ugly, stupid and that could steal treasure?'"

"Awww, Spike! Come on!"

"But Spike, I thought it doesn't matter to you." Rarity said in worry. She doesn't realize that Spike thought she was insulting him last night and wanted nothing to do with him.

"Yeah; well, guess what, drama queen! It does!" Spike scowls angrily, much to Rarity and Lorcan's shock. What's going on? Suddenly the trio heard trumpets being played, along with horses approaching, "Oh good, right on time. Hey, princess; Got a little something for your troubles."

To Lorcan and Rarity's surprise and shock, there's the group of guards approaching with Blueblood riding in on his non-talkable horse. Spike must've gone to DuColt last night and is now giving the princess to him!

Most of the sleeping ones wake up and gasps upon seeing Blueblood and his goons. Fluttershy gasps, "Oh dear!"

"We better hide." Golden Heart said quietly to his little sister, knowing that he and his little sister are still fugitives.

"Right, come on." Pinkamena whispers as she, Golden Heart and Gold Wing rush off to hide behind the windmill.

As most of the Mane Five rush to join them in hiding, Pinkie begins to wake up, yawning while asking, "Hey, ponies? What did I miss, huh?" The mare yelps as she saw the soldiers arriving, glancing at her. Quickly, Pinkie pretends to make a muffled noise as if someone is speaking, "Say, who said that? Couldn't been the pink pony." She then rushes off to hide with the others minus Spike, Rarity and Lorcan.

Lorcan sighs in irritation, speaking up, "Hey Blueblood."

"That's Prince Blueblood! Just be glad your brother decided that you shall share with the rescue on your behalf." Blueblood remarks to Lorcan in determination. He then smiles to Rarity, saying, "Ah yes, Princess Rarity."

"Okay, I got you her as promised. Now hand it over." Spike snaps to Blueblood sternly. Lorcan, Rarity and their friends are stunned. He is just going to give her up just like that?!

"Oh, very well, Dragon," Blueblood said as Razoul gives him a piece of document paper before the prince hands it to Spike. "The deed to your forest, cleared out as promised. And your brother is no longer in my services and is now given immunity. Take the deed and leave before I change my mind."

Spike snatches the document and heads off. Lorcan looks worried as he said, "Spike..." He sighs a bit. The scarred Dragon is usually a sarcastic and dryly one but not when he sees his brother like this.

"Lorcan, excellent work, blah, blah, Congratulations."

"Right, thanks, Blueblood."

Blueblood then smiles to Rarity who is shocked upon seeing him. She spoke, "Oh wow..."

Blueblood clears his throat before he begins to speak, "Forgive me for startling you, princess. But you startled me, for I have never seen such a radiant beauty until now." The prince takes one of Rarity's hooves before kissing it. "I am Prince Blueblood at your service."

"Oh, no, no, no," Rarity said, looking a bit nervous as Blueblood signals Razoul to help him off his horse. "You need to forgive me. I was just saying a short..."

Rarity was interrupted when she saw that Blueblood is riding in some sort of seat that makes him look. The mare is shocked as the prince was put right onto the ground, right below her waist so to speak.

"Farewell..." Rarity said with a nervous chuckle. Wow, when Spike and the others were making the short jokes before, they really meant a good reason to!

"Oh ha ha ha; How hilariously sweet; Not to mention ironic; But honestly, you don't need to waste good manners on that stupid Dragon. Not like it has feelings." Blueblood remarks cruelly to Rarity. Spike cringes while Lorcan growls and glares angrily at the prince. How dare he insult his brother like that?

"No, you're right. He doesn't..." Rarity said with a sigh. Blueblood took her hoof and kiss esit, much to the concern of the Mane Six and Golden Heart thought Pinkamena looks a bit disgusted.

"Princess Rarity, beautiful, fair, flawless Rarity. I ask for your hoof in marriage." Blueblood said slyly, making Rarity gasp in surprise. "Will you be the perfect bride for the perfect groom?"

Rariy hesitates a bit then looks up to see Spike standing there, apparently not wanting to say or do anything to oppose. The princess frowns a bit. If he doesn't want to listen or even speak with her, then why bother?

Rarity frowns, nodding as she said, "Prince Blueblood. I accept. Nothing would make..."

"Oh, excellent," Blueblood interrupts with a wicked grin. "Yes, I will start the plans. Tomorrow, we will be married!"

"No!" Rarity gasps in alarm, making Spike, who is still looking away from her, to stop. The mare can't wait until tomorrow because someone else could see her cursed form. The princess smiles while asking, "Err, I mean, why wait? I mean, why not get married today and before the sun sets, right darling?"

"Oooh, anxious, are you? Ha ha ha, you're right. The sooner we get this done, the better. Oh yes, there's so much to do! We need the caterer, a cake, the band, the guest list...Razoul! Go round up some guests, even the prisoners if you have to!"

"Yes, sire!" Razoul exclaims as he put Blueblood onto his horse with Rarity being held right behind him.

As Blueblood, Rarity and everyone else is leaving, Rarity turns to Spike who is departing, not wanting to look back. She said in sadness though a hint of upset is added, "Fare-thee-well, Dragon."

As mostly everyone else is gone, the Mane Five, Golden Heart Pinkamena and Gold Wing came out of hiding and watch them go. They can't believe this. Spike isn't putting up a fight to keep Rarity, all he wants to do is forget it and head back to his swamp.

"Wait, Spike! What are you doing?" Rainbow asks Spike in disbelief. "You're letting her get away!"

"Yeah? Who cares?" Spike asks with a scoffed rude tone of voice.

"What?" Fluttershy ask in shock and concern. Spike doesn't even care that Rarity will be out of his life forever? Doesn't he love her?!

Golden Heart in concern spoke to the departing Spike, "Spike, listen. There's something about her that you don't know."

"Right, we all spoke with Rarity last night." Twilight said seriously. Promise or not, Spike must know! "She's..."

Spike angrily turns back to the others, snapping, "Yeah, I know you all talked to her last night! You are all great pals, right; Well, if you are such the case, why not you go and follow her home?!'

"Whoa, Spike! Calm down!" Applejack exclaims in concern. "It's just..."

"Oh, why do you even care; I don't need you all anymore!"

"But...but Spike..." Pinkie said sadly to Spike. "We want to go with you."

"Didn't you remember what I told you?! You aren't coming home with me, none of you ponies are!" Spike roars angrily, making Pinkie and Fluttershy cry a bit, Rainbow and Applejack upset while Twilight is stunned. "I live alone; it's my swamp and me! No one else, got it?! No one is living with me, especially some useless, pathetic, annoying, talking PONIES!"

Pinkie's mane and tail deflated as she looks hurt and shocked by Spike's outburst. Pinkamena stunned said, "Wow..."

"Spike, stop it!!!" Lorcan exclaims to his brother, not liking his attitude. "You're turning into..."

"Me, a scarred, heartless jerk; Well, how fitting, right shortie," Spike snaps angrily to Lorcan. The older brother looks stunned then frowns a bit.

"Ugh, fine! If you want to be a jerk about it, then fine! See if I ever see you again!"

With that, Lorcan storms off, apparently cutting off all ties with his younger brother. Twilight in worry said, "Spike, we thought..."

"Well, you know what?! You all thought wrong!" Spike scowls furiously to the Mane Five. He then begins to sing a song.

Spike: I'm gonna build me a wall, I'll make it ten feet high.
See ya later pal, bye bye.
No one gettin' in so don't you even try.
A ten foot wall..

I'm gonna build me a wall, I'm gonna disappear.
What's the matter pal, am I not bein' clear?
Can't you take a hint, am I getting through at all?

Once the song is over, Spike then stomps off, leaving his pony friends sad and alone. Fluttershy sadly whimpers, "Spike..."

"This isn't good." Golden Heart said with a sad sigh, seeing Spike going off in one direction and Lorcan in the other. "Our fellowship is breaking up..."

"What will we do now?" Pinkamena ask her brother in worry and sadness.

"That's your problem now. Come on, girls." Twilight said sadly as she and her group walks away from Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing. Things had gotten a bit sad.

Back at the castle, Blueblood was making preparations for the wedding as Lorcan came in. The unicorn, seeing him, ask in boredom, "Oh, what is it, Lorcan? I gave you your retirement plan."

"Ahem, I was wondering when you are going to do it." Lorcan said to Blueblood seriously.

"Do what?"

"Release Luna. You said if I served you, you will let her go."

Blueblood smirks and laughs cruelly at Lorcan, much to his annoyance, "Ha ha ha! Excuse me, but releasing Luna wasn't part of the deal when you rescued Rarity!"

"What," Lorcan snorts furiously as smoke came out of his nose. "But you said..."

"I said if you served me, I wouldn't hurt her. Now that you don't work for me, I don't see any reason to keep Auntie Luna around. She will die at sunset once my marriage to Rarity is complete!"

Lorcan looks outraged. Blueblood is going to kill Luna since the Dragon is no longer working for him. Lorcan prepares to pounce but the guards and Vlad blocks him, keeping the Dragon away from the prince.

"Seize him!" Blueblood orders his men who advance on Lorcan. "Put the traitor in the dungeon!"

"Yes, sir," Vlad remarks as he prepares to grab Lorcan...but the Dragon quickly scratch the vulture, knocking him off. He quickly dodges the guards and jump out a window, escaping out a window while landing safely below.

As Razoul peek through the broken window and watch the escape, he ask, "Prince Blueblood? Shall we give chase?"

"Don't bother. Lorcan is no threat anymore." Blueblood remarks with a scoff. After all, the prince got everything he wanted. Why should the villain be worried about that short Dragon anyway?

Spike arrives back in the swamp, returning home. He looks around and saw that the mythical/aliens/legendary creatures, etc. has been cleared out like Blueblood has promised. Spike got his home back...so why is he sad?

In a special room at the castle, Rarity was watching a maid who is fixing her dress up to fit her. The mare sighs sadly. She is finally getting a chance to be with her 'true love' and end her curse. So why is she not happy?

It goes like this the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall the major lift
The baffled king composing hallelujah

As Spike heads home, the Dragon saw his reflection in a broken mirror, cringing a bit. He felt like a monster...forsaking everyone that knew and care for him.

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Rarity meanwhile look at her own reflection in the glass of the chandelier, sighing as she put a veil in front of herself. The mare thought about Spike and what she's leaving behind.

Meanwhile Blueblood was looking at his own reflection in the magic mirror, making himself look good and turns to Vlad who gave him a wing up. Upon turning back to the mirror, Grim gave a nervous forced smile as if agreeing with his master.

I know this room I've walked this floor

At the river, the Mane Five looks down in sadness, feeling all alone...until they heard crying and turn to see who is doing it. To their surprise, there's Brian, Soarin', Caramel and Dexter sitting near the river in sadness...and a brown stallion with a scarf and a Triforce like cutie mark crying in sadness. Could that be...?

Twilight's group looks concerned as they came over. The brown stallion saw Twilight and looks surprised as he ask, "Twilight?"

"Ben?! Is that you? You look different." Twilight said in amazement. She smiles and comforts the formerly black Demon Pony while her friends grin while hugging their special somepony.

I used to live alone before I knew you

Spike looks inside his home. It is mostly empty now, except for a sunflower which the Dragon picks up. He pauses, recalling how Spike himself wanted to give this to Rarity. Then he frowns in sadness while throwing the sunflower right into the flower.

I've seen your flag on the marble arch
But love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Rarity meanwhile sighs sadly as she looks at the top decoration of the cake which has two ponies, a mare and a stallion that looks like Blueblood. The white unicorn then pushes the latter down to half his size to fit her future ‘husband’.

Spike was doing his best to eat his food slowly at home...then he looks sadly, moaning while covering his face in regret.

"Oh Rarity..." Spike said in sadness. He got what he himself really wanted...and gave Rarity up. Oh, what has Spike done?

Back at the castle, Rarity is eating her own soup alone, looking sad. Weddings are supposed to be a happy moment. But it isn't as the unicorn felt sadness, giving up the one thing that she truly loved.

Rarity put face down, sobbing while shedding rear, "Spike..."

Spike sighs as he looks down back at his place. But his thoughts were interrupted by a thumping noise coming from outside. Out of curiosity, the purple Dragon came out and saw a surprising sight: there's the Mane Five, Pinkie’s mane is about to normal, putting some wood onto the ground.

"Twilight; Applejack, Rainbow; Pinkie, Fluttershy," Spike ask in surprise. Of course, Rainbow grunts as she and the others just ignore him, continuing what they were doing. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"What, I figure you of all Dragons would know a wall when you see one." Rainbow snaps to Rainbow rudely.

"Right, so I hope you don't mind if we just built one." Fluttershy remarks with a frown. "Don't bother helping, we got this."

"Well, I can see but isn't the wall supposed to go around my swamp, not through it?" Spike ask the ponies puzzled. Weird, why are they making a wall through here?

"Well, if you must know, it's around your half, Mr. Grumpy Dragon." Pinkie remarks as she motions the two sides, pointing to the right then to the left while speaking. "See that? That's your half and this is ours."

"Oh, your half, huh?"

"Right, our half, ya vermint! We helped rescued Rarity, we done did half 'de work so we git half 'de prize." Applejack remarks dryly. She points to a rock, adding, "Now git us 'dat rock over there, 'de one 'dat looks like yer fat head!"

"Hey, hey back off!" Spike snaps angrily to the ponies.

"No, you back off! You ain't our friend anymore so why don't you do what we asked for once?" Twilight demands as she uses her magic to grab a tree branch.

"FYI, this is my swamp!"

"Our swamp!"

Spike grabs a tree branch that Twilight is working on but she and the girls grabs it right back. Spike angrily demands, "Hey, let go!" He has had enough of these ponies and their invading like ways! The Dragon just want to be left alone and to forget all this mess and heartbreak!

"You let go!" Rainbow scowls angrily to Spike as the girls play an intense game of tug of war with the Dragon.

"Stubborn mares!"

"Smelly lizard!"

"Okay, fine!" Spike scowls angrily as he lets go of the tree branch. There's no point in continuing this pointless argument. The Dragon is done with everyone for good!

Of course, the ponies angrily follow him. Lorcan, Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing arrives on the scene. They decided not to announce themselves yet, the four want to see this scene played out.

"Hey, get your flank back here!" Twilight snaps angrily to Spike. "We're not done with you yet young man!"

"I'm an older Dragon so stop teaching me like a kid!" Spike snapped right back to Twilight. "I'm through with all of you."

"Oh no you don't; with you, it's always 'me, me, me!' Well, guess what?!" Pinkie snaps as she grabs Spike by the tail, forcing him to turn around. "It's our turn so you better shut up and listen up!"

"You are mean to us, insulted us and don't appreciate anything that we do for you!" Fluttershy exclaims sternly to Spike. "No matter what, you're always pushing us around or pushing us away!"

"Even if we done didn't do anything wrong, yer're still doing it!" Applejack remarks with a scowl.

"Oh yeah; If I treated you five so badly, how come you all came back," Spike challenges the five. If they are upset for his treatment towards them, why bother returning?

"Because that's what friends do! They forgive each other!" Pinkie exclaims angrily to Spike.

"Pinkie's right." Twilight said with a stern nod. "Despite what you did, we forgive you anyway. So maybe it's time for you to stop acting stubborn and a jerk and forgive us right back."

"Oh yeah, you're right, Twilight. I forgive you all...FOR STABBING ME IN THE BACK!" Spike roars furiously at the five then goes into the outhouse slamming the door close. The Mane Five frowns a bit. The Dragon isn't going to be that easy to convince.

"Geez, that's ugly." Pinkamena said in concern to the group.

"Give them time; I believe Spike is going to come around." Golden Heart said gently to Pinkamena. Glancing to Lorcan, he then asks, "Why did you come back? I figure you would disown your brother by now."

"I was hoping for a sign...that maybe things would get better." Lorcan grumbles a bit to Golden Heart, "That and much more."

Rainbow narrows her eyes while remarking, "Oh, come on! You are so wrapped up in that layers stuff, onion boy, that you're scared of your own feelings."

"Oh, go away and leave me alone!" Spike's voice snaps from inside the outhouse.

"Shoot, dang nab it. Yer're doing it again, just like wit' Rarity." Applejack grumbles a bit. "All she ever did was like yew."

Lorcan decided to step in with the others. He spoke up, "They're right, Spike."

"Ugh, Lorcan? What are you doing here?" Spike is heard sounding annoyed that his brother is here and outside his outhouse right now.

"I'm here along with Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing. Applejack is right, Spike. All Rarity did was like you...maybe even love you!"

"Love me?! Yeah right! She said I was ugly, a hideous Dragon! I've heard you talking last night!"

The others slowly realize: Spike thought that Rarity was insulting him last night. He doesn't even know about her curse and why she must marry Blueblood. This all happened because of a misunderstanding.

Golden Heart nods as he said to Spike, "Spike. For your information, Rarity wasn't even talking about you at all."

"Yeah! She was talking about..." Rainbow notices Pinkie glaring at her, recalling the promise to Rarity. The Pegasus pony roll her eyes, saying, "...err, somepony else."

There was a pause, then Spike opens the door and came out looking surprised. Looking at his friends, he begin to ask, "Wait, Rarity wasn't talking about me? Well...who was it that she was talking about?"

"Well, to be honest..." Fluttershy said, wanting to tell the truth...but a certain pink pony cut her off.

"No way, not a chance!" Pinkie snaps as she turns around, not wanting to look at Spike. "None of us are saying anything! If you want to be a big meanie and not listen to us, then I say, don't bother, right?"

"Pinkie..."

"No, Pinkie's right." Twilight said with a frown as some of the others look a bit upset and/or hurt. As somne of them sat on the ground, the Alicorn continues, "You know what you got to do..."

Spike sighs a bit, then he said, "Okay, look, I'm sorry, everyone, all right?" The others just look at him skeptically. That doesn't sound like a real apology. The Dragon felt bad for trying that. He then sighs, "Look...I'm really sorry. I guess for how I was acting...I was just a big, stupid, ugly Dragon. Can you all forgive me?"

Pinkie and the others turn and smiles. The pink pony giggles, "Awww, that's what friends are for, right?"

"Right; Lorcan; I'm sorry for acting like a jerk and what I said to you...."

"It's okay. You're my brother and I'm stuck with ya for life!" Lorcan chuckles as he and Spike hug each other as a way of forgiveness.

Once the brothers finish their hugging, Spike held his claw out, asking, "Friends?"

"Friends," Twilight said as she put her hoof into Spike's claw to shake it.

"Friends," Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie and Fluttershy said, shaking Spike's claw as well.

"Friends," Pinkamena chuckles as she shakes Spike's claw as well.

"Same here," Golden Heart remarks while shaking Spike's claw with his own hoof, "Lorcan?"

"Aww, why not," Lorcan chuckles as he shakes hoof/claw with the others.

And so, all is forgiven, the group are friends once more. Spike pausing a bit then ask the others anxiously, "So...uh...what was Rarity saying about me?"

"Awww, why are you asking us for?" Pinkie ask Spike with a smile.

"Right; Why not you go ask her?" Fluttershy ask Spike gently.

"Wait; the wedding," Twilight gasps in alarm and worry, remembering something. "Rarity's wedding is going to happen at sunset and that's hours away!"

"And here's the worst part: Blueblood is going to have Luna killed once the wedding's over!" Lorcan exclaims, making the others gasps in worry and horror. "We will never make it there in time!"

"Crud and I am too exhausted to fly...and not enough magic to transport us all."

Rainbow laughs in amusement to the others, "Ha ha ha! Never fear. As they say in the books, for where there's a will, there's a way. And Rainbow Dash and the others got their way."

Applejack smiles as she made a whistle as if calling for someone. To everyone's surprise, Ben, now large size, appears with the other stallions landing nearby. Soarin' calls out eagerly, "Hey, everyone! Need a lift?"

"Right, we got a wedding to stop and a mare to save!" Caramel remarks with a smirk.

"Wow, you all came!" Pinkamena said, impressed that the ones whom they used to fight to save Rarity are here. Now the gang is sure to get there in time.

"Right, we're ready. Yay," Dexter said meekly while nodding.

"Girls," Spike ask the Mane Five with a smile, suspecting the mares to be behind the stallions arriving just now. Somehow, he got a feeling that that's indeed the case here.

"Well, what can we say? Must be our animal magnetism," Twilight said to Spike with a smirk, making the others laugh a bit.

"Awww, come here, you!"

Spike grabs the Mane Five and gave them a noggie. Rainbow laughs as she and her friends got freed, "Okay, okay! Ha ha ha! Don't get slobbery! No one likes a messy mane!"

"Okay, Ben!" Pinkie exclaims as she and everyone got onto Ben's back, ready for liftoff, "To DuColt and fast!"

"Hang on, everypony! This is going to be an intense ride!" Ben exclaims with a smirk as he jumps into the air and begins to fly. Everyone hold onto the former Demon Pony as he flew out of the swamp and on their way to DuColt. They got to get to the wedding in time.

"Luna, hang on. We're coming." Lorcan whispers to himself in determination. He is determined to rescue Luna and save her from being executed in time as well.

Looks like all is forgiven; In the next chapter, it's time for the big confrontation. Will Spike confess his feelings to Rarity and stop Blueblood? And will the curse ever be broken? Read, review and suggest.

Chapter 9: Wedding Crashers

Everyone (those who had no choice) gathers at the church in DuColt ready or not for the marriage of Blueblood and Rarity. As they stood in front of the altar, a reverend named Dr. Hooves (not really a stallion that is licensed that do marriages) begin the ceremony. Vlad holds up some cards to the crowd showing the words 'Revered Silence' right on it.

"Ponies and folks of DuColt, we are gathering here today to witness the union..." Dr. Hooves said, reading the book carefull.

Rarity looks worried as she saw that the sun is close to setting, making her spoke quickly, "Eep..."

"...of our new king and queen..."

"Err, excuse me, darling; But can we just skip to the 'I do's' part?"

Blueblood chuckles in amusement at Rarity's quest. His fiancée wants to skip to the chase. He spoke up, "Very well. Continue, Hooves."

At this moment outside the church, some of the guards were there, working. Suddenly without working Ben lands on the ground with a boom, causing the guards to gasp in fear as they run off screaming.

"Ha! Look at those cowards run!" Brian mocks a bit in amusement at the guards running off like that.

"Hey Brian; You, Ben and the others have some fun!" Pinkie giggles as she, Spike, the rest of the Mane Five, Lorcan, Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing got off Ben's back. "If we need ya, we will whistle, how about it?"

"Right, it shall be done." Ben remarks with a smirk.

"Be careful." Soarin' warns his fillyfrieind, giving her a kiss as he and his friends run off to kick some flank.

Pinkamena says, "Me, Goldie and Gold Wing will go get Luna while you stop the wedding."

"Hey, count me in. I want Luna back myself!" Lorcan exclaims as he, Pinkamena, Golden Heart and Gold Wing head off to save Luna and maybe more of the captives.

"Come on, we got to stop that wedding!" Twilight exclaims as she, her Mane Five friends and Spike rush over to the church.

"Come on!" Spike said in agreement.

But before anyone else could go in, Pinkie stops her friends, saying, "Spike, wait, wait! Hang on! You gotta do this right, don't ya?"

"Pinkie, what are you talking about?"

"Well, there's one line you got to wait for, all crashers who want to stop wedding know that! The preacher will say 'Speak now or forever hold your peace'. Then you Spike gotta say 'I object!'"

"Pinkie," Rainbow said to Pinkie in annoyance. "We don't have time for that."

"Right, come on!" Spike remarks as he prepares to go into the church.

"Wait, hang on! What are you doing?" Pinkie asks Spike, stopping him from going inside the church.

"I think what Pinkie is asking is do you care for her?" Fluttershy ask Spike meekly.

"Yep; you love this filly, right?"

"Yes." Spike said with a nod, confirming the answer.

"You wanna hold her?" Pinkie asks Spike with a smirk.

"Yeah."

"You wanna please her?"

"Yeah," Spike exclaims impatiently to Pinkie.

Pinkie begins to sing like James Brown, "Then you got to, got to try a little tenderness!"

"Pinkie, what 'de Sam Hill was 'dat about?" Applejack asks Pinkie with a frown.

"Come on! Mares love that romantic stuff."

"Pinkie," Twilight said to Pinkie with a sigh.

"Fine, okay, cut it out!" Spike exclaims annoyed, finally caving in. "So what does that guy say the line?"

Pinkie pauses then answers, "Huh. Let's check it out and hope we aren't too late."

Luna sat in the dungeon, waiting for the execution at hoof here...until she hears fighting noises outside her cell. As the Alicorn looks up, the door was knocked open by an unconscious guard; Luna's eyes widened in hope as a familiar scarred Dragon rushes in with another Alicorn, a pink pony and a phoenix.

"Lordcan, you came." Luna said with a smile.

"Told you I would," Lorcan said. Golden Heart uses his magic to blast at Luna's chains, breaking them and freeing them. "We got to go."

"Wait. My nephew has turned the creatures he despised into inactivate objects."

"Wow, she must be right!" Pinkamena gasps in surprise and realization. "We gotta restore them."

Lorcan spoke up, "But what about Spike?! He needs my help."

"We will need all the help we can get." Luna said seriously to her boyfriend. Lorcan hesitates then groans. His Alicorn girlfriend is right of course.

"Fine, but we gotta hurry."

The preacher begins to finish things up inside the church. No one spots a familiar pink pony being tossed up and down as seen through a window at the top by her friends outside. Pinkie is doing her best to see inside.

"And so, by the power vested in me..." Dr. Hooves begins to say.

As Pinkie lands in Spike's claws, the Dragon asks Pinkie anxiously, "So what do you see?"

"The whole town is in there." Pinkie explains to Spike as the Dragon tosses her up once more.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife..." Dr. Hooves said with a nod, getting the finish part.

Pinkie looks through the window, saying, "They are at the altar..." The pink pony fell down and is tossed up as he hears Dr. Hooves speaks, much to her concern.

"Correction: king and queen..."

"Aw, horse feathers. He said it already!"

"Oh for the love of Celestia," Spike exclaims impatiently. Enough already! The Dragon and the rest of the mares rush inside, forgetting to catch Pinkie who hit the ground hard. Blueblood and Rarity were about to kiss when the doors slammed open, revealing Spike and his friends who run towards the altar. "I OBJECT!"

"Spike," Rarity gasps in shock upon seeing Spike. What is the Dragon want?

"Ugh, what does that monster want now?!" Blueblood demands in frustration. Spike has already got his swamp back! What is it that the Dragon wishes to bother with him now?

The crowd gasps, looking bewildered and shocked at the Dragon who chuckles as he comes up to the altar, saying, "Hey, everyone. Having a good time? First off, gotta love DuColt; Very clean."

"Spike, what are you doing here?" Rarity asks Spike in surprise. She thought that the Dragon wanted nothing more to do with her again, especially since he abandoned her to Blueblood.

"Ugh! Honestly, rude enough that you were alive when no one in his right mind wants you, but showing up uninvited to a wedding..." Blueblood begins to express rage at Spike and his friends' intrusion.

Spike interrupts Blueblood, speaking to Rarity seriously, "Rarity, I need to talk to you now."

"Oh, you wish to speak with me now? Well, too late, 'darling'! Now if you excuse me..." Rarity said, preparing to kiss Blueblood but Spike stops her.

"Wait! You can't marry Blueblood!"

"And why not?"

"First off, he isn't the real ruler of DuColt, his aunt Luna is!" Fluttershy explains to Rarity, much to the mare's surprise and confusion. Blueblood isn't in charge of DuColt?

"Plus, he is only interested in marrying you so he can be king!" Spike exclaims to Rarity with a nod.

"He's right! Why else did Blueblood choose someone else to do the dirty work for him? As well as terrorize everyone in this land as well as his own citizens?" Twilight points out to Rarity in concern.

"That's crazy, outrageous!" Blueblood exclaims in concern and worry. "Rarity my dear, don't listen to him."

"It's 'de truth an' yew know it, Blueblood!" Applejack snaps to Blueblood, narrowing her eyes at him. "Even a honest pony like mahself know what a lie is."

"The point is Blueblood isn't your true love at all." Spike said to Rarity in concern.

"And what do you know about true love?" Rarity asks Spike puzzled. The Dragon stops, looking a bit nervous and concerned. How will he tell her this?

"Err, I mean...well..."

"Oh…isn't this precious? Spike here has fallen in love with Rarity." Blueblood laughs cruelly, signaling Vlad who took out a card that said 'Laugh or I will kill you'. The crowd was forced to laugh at Spike's misfortune, "Ha ha ha; A beauty and her Dragon beast; Ha ha ha!"

Spike looks down, feeling foolish and sad. He wants to go home and forget about this...but not everyone is ridiculing Spike's love. His friends aren't...and neither is Rarity who looks surprised at him.

"Spike; is this true?" Rarity asks Spike gently. The Dragon looks at her, not sure what to say.

"Oh, who even cares; it's ridiculous!" Blueblood exclaims to Rarity with a scoff. "Rarity my dear, we are but a kiss away from our 'happily ever after' Kiss me now!"

Blueblood puckers his lips, ready to kiss Rarity and be king at last. Rarity on the other hoof looks at the sun setting. She pauses, wondering what to do...and knew what must be done.

"'By night on way, by day another'," Rarity said, recalling the spell that she was told. The mare turns to Spike as she speaks, "I wanted to show you before, Spike."

Spike, Blueblood and everyone else watch as Rarity goes over to the window...and begins to transform. Rarity's hooves begin to glow orange energy, medium energy slowly erupts from her dress collar.

Pinkie, watching, ask, "Why am I thinking of the Doctor regenerating? Well, for all the David Tennant fan girls.....let me play 'Vale Decem'."

Rarity throws herself back onto her hind legs as the orange flame like energy erupts from her hooves and face. Spike covers his face as Blueblood can only look in horror as the mare's hooves grow into claws, scales grow on, and the tail becomes longer. The entry fades, revealing Rarity's face.

Once the transformation is done, Rarity is now her Dragon form, giving a sheepish smile to Spike. Rainbow chuckles as she speaks to Spike, "Yeah, now you can see why we kinda left that part out due to a promise."

"Wow. That explains a lot." Spike said as he rubs the back of his own head awkwardly.

Rarity chuckles a bit. At least Spike understands. Blueblood on the other hoof looks outraged as he yells, "Ugh! It's disgusting! Guards! Guards! Get them out of my sight! Get them!"

The guard run in and grabs Spike and Rarity, separating them. As the ponies back away from the other guards, Spike tries to reach for Rarity, yelling, "No; no!"

"Spike," Rarity cries out, finding herself unable to get to Spike.

"This whole Dragon nonsense doesn't mean a thing!" Blueblood exclaims furiously as he took the crown that is on a podium nearby, putting it on. "The marriage is binding and therefore, I am king, see?! See?!"

"No, let go of me; Spike!"

"No!" Spike exclaims. He and his pals quickly work on fighting the guards who kept trying to outnumbered them big time.

"Release her at once!" A familiar voice booms angrily. Everyone, especially Blueblood, gasps as Luna appears in the church, along with Lorcan, Golden Heart, Pinkamena, Gold Wing and the rest of the creatures that are now restored back to normal. Luna uses her magic to restore them back to normal...and even frees Grim from his mirror prison! "You are not the true ruler of this kingdom, I am!"

"And it's time to reclaim Equestria from you!" Golden Heart exclaims to Blueblood sternly.

"Don't stand there, get them!" Blueblood roars to the guards who begin assaulting the intruders.

"Out of my way," Lorcan snaps as he punches a guard hard, knocking him out. Grim uses his scythe as the skeleton go 'Kung-Fu' on the guards while the other freed creatures continue fighting off the guards in their own way.

"Rarity," Spike exclaims then yells as he and Lorcan are piled on by more guards. The heroes appear to be losing fast.

"Oh, I will make you regret the day we met! I will make sure you and your brother are both drawn and quartered!" Blueblood snarls furiously to Spike and Lorcan. "You will want death to take you when I'm done!"

"Spike, no!" Rarity exclaims. She gasps in horror as Blueblood uses his magic to hold a dagger near her throat.

"Rarity," Spike gasps in horror. That monster is going to kill her.

"I will see you locked back in that tower in no time! I am king!" Blueblood exclaims evilly. Unknown to him, Spike manages to get one of his claws freed before using it to make a loud whistle. "I will have order, perfection, I will have..."

Suddenly without warning, the front altar window was broken like mad. Blueblood gasps in shock as a familiar huge pony appears with his pals on his back. Caramel calls out, "Okay, nopony move! My pals and I got a former Demon Pony here and we aren't afraid to use him!"

"Hello, Cousin Blueblood!" Ben remarks to Blueblood sternly as he uses his magic to grab his evil cousin.

"B-B-B-Ben," Blueblood gulps a bit, recognizing his cousin. "What a pleasant surprise."

"No more than the surprise I got for you, Blueblood; Lorcan?"

"Yep," Lorcan said to Ben eagerly. He so wants to punish this villain for his evil ways!

"Do your stuff." Ben remarks as he held Blueblood right over the scarred Dragon. Lorcan smirks devilishly, knowing what his friend has in mind.

"With pleasure."

Lorcan opens his mouth, preparing to swallow Blueblood whole once Ben stops him. The villain yelps as he tries to get out of this mess, "Uh….palalalala."

"Huh?" Ben asks, wondering what his cousin is trying to say.

"Pulaboolaboola."

"What," Lorcan ask Blueblood puzzled. What is this buffoon trying to say?

"Uh…no, those were all wrong; Uh…Poland; Pork chop; Parsnip; Palace? Paris?" Blueblood asks, trying to guess what he wanted to say to save his own skin.

Ben of course guess it as he asks, "Parley?"

"That's the one; Parley; Parley!"

Lorcan chuckles devilishly as he spoke, "Sorry, Blueblood. But you'll get no 'parley' from me or Ben. Your time has come!"

Blueblood screams as Ben drops him right into Lorcan's mouth, eating him in one gulp. Rainbow calls out, "Yeah! We're ponies on the edge!"

Lorcan belches a bit, spitting out Blueblood's crown, sending it right onto the ground. Luna just giggles at her love, "Oh, Lordcan."

"Celebrity marriages; they never last, do they?" Twilight ask her friends with a smirk.

"Nope," The rest of the Mane Five chuckled. Everyone else in the church, especially the former minions of Blueblood cheers eagerly. It has happened! They are finally freed of Blueblood and his wicked rule!

"Right, nice job, Lorcan," Pinkamena giggles to Lorcan as Gold Wing squawks a bit happily.

"Ugh. Blueblood tastes funny." Lorcan mumbles a bit. Luna made a bottle of water appears, allowing him to drink it to wash his victim down, "Thanks, honey."

"No problem." Luna said with a smile as she turns to the crowd. "People of DuColt...I wish to be reinstated as your rightful ruler since the tyrant is deposed...if you can have me."

The crowd cheers for Luna, assuring her that they definitely want her back. The Alicorn smiles, her kingdom got their princess back. The Mane Five and Lorcan then nudges Spike now.

"Huh? What?" Spike asks his friends puzzled.

"Go ahead, Spike." Pinkie said to Spike. She and the others want him to tell Rarity his feelings now.

"Oh yes...Rarity?"

"Yes, Spike?" Rarity asks Spike gently as the male Dragon AKA her true love comes up to her. Could this be it? True love at last?

"Rarity, uh...I...I love you." Spike said to Rarity with a happy smile, causing his true love to blush.

"Really?"

"Really, really."

Rarity smiles lovingly and warmly. She and Spike then leans towards each other...and kiss for the first time ever. Vlad quickly took one card, wrote something on the back. The vulture shows the word 'Awww' to the congregation who said, "Awww."

"Oh, true love at last." Golden Heart said to his sister with a grin.

"Yeah, but will it help?" Pinkamena ask puzzled. Suddenly the spell's magic begins to pull Rarity away from Spike, lifting her in the air. "Whoa! It did!"

A voice spoke from out of nowhere, "'until you find true love's first kiss and then take love's true form'." The last words echo throughout the church, "'Take love's true form; Take love's true form'."

Rarity's eyes opened as the spell consumed her, causing a light that made everyone else covers their eyes and breaking almost every framed glass in the altar. When all is clear, Rarity lands back onto the church floor in front of the altar. Ben notices that the last good framed glass with Blueblood's image on it is still standing...that is until the stallion blast it with his magic, breaking the window in the progress.

"Ooooh, nice," Dexter remarks with a smile.

Spike came over to Rarity and helps her up. He asks in concern, "Rarity? Rarity, are you okay?"

Rarity wakes up and looks herself over, looking shocked. She is still in her Dragon form! When the spell says 'take true love's form', it means the form of a Dragon! But Rarity wanted to be her princess self.

"Yeah, I'm okay, but...I dont' understand." Rarity said, looking down in concern. "I'm supposed to be beautiful."

"But you are beautiful." Spike said to Rarity gently. Both of them blush happily, smiling. The Dragon doesn't care what his love looks like. He loves her no matter what.

"Awww, I was hoping that this would be a happy ending!" Pinkie giggles happily.

Spike and Rarity prepared to kiss...but saw the camera and smirks while covering it to give them privacy.

Back in the swamp, everyone who is anybody cheer as Spike and Rarity in wedding clothes smile happily. As blessed by the reinstated ruler of DuColt Princess Luna, the couple is now married. As they kiss, a song begins to play.

Man: I thought love was only true in fairy tales

Nearby we see the apes playing a song while shouting, "Oy!"

Everyone in the crowd cheer, especially the former bad guys of Blueblood and the creatures that are no longer fugitives.

Meant for someone else but not for me

Spike and Rarity rushes through the cheering crowd as Grim, Golden Heart, Pinkamena and Gold Wing watch on proudly while smiling.

Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

The Mystic Ponies use their magic to turn an onion in a carriage and some bugs into horses. Spike and Rarity smile as they got in, ready to ride off to their honeymoon.

And then I saw her face
Now I'm a believer and not a trace
Of doubt in my mind

With a smiles while in the carriage, Rarity throw her bouquet, Amy Rose and Cadance try their best to fight one another to get it. But then Luna flew by them, grabbing the bouquet as she lands near Lorcan.

The couple, along with the Mane Five and their new colt-friends, blushes as Spike wave his pleased approval.

Soon the wedded couple waves goodbye as their onion carriage, sporting a 'Just Married' sign on the back, waving goodbye to their pals while sailing off into the sunset.

Soon the band begins to strike up as Pinkie, on stage, begins to sing while Brian is with her.

A few citizens, Ben Tennyson included, danced as if in a chorus line.

Some couples dance with one another. Pinkie and Brian sang along with each other the next line of the song.

Flik, Francis and Slim were singing while the ant and stick bug yelp in alarm as the ladybug swing his arms at them, not watching what he himself is doing, knocking the two down by accident.

Then I saw her face

Few members in the audience were playing a game of limbo with Pinkie's cousin Oliver Oreo and Bowser holding the stick. Ed took his turn to try to go under it, but he smack into the stick and fell onto the ground like a fool.

Not a trace
Uhh! Yeah.

The wolves especially Boss Wolf, who hold no hard feelings against Spike and his friends for beating them before, dance along with Cadance who doesn't mind it at all apparently.

Of doubt in my mind

"One more time," Pinkie exclaim excitedly, really getting into the song itself.

Bucky smirk devilishly as he knock down the toy version of Blueblood into the cake hard until only the top of his head is visible. Now we see Pinkie dancing like mad in front of the mike and just sing.

We see the imaginary friends on the mat doing dance moves while spinning, stopping to pose for the crowd who cheer for them.

"Y'all sing it with me!" Pinkie exclaim to the crowd excitedly. Bucky laughs as he dances with the bride toy while the crowd sing along like mad.

Crowd: I

"People in the back!" Pinkie exclaim madly as the people in the back begin to wave their hands in the air like they just don't care a bit.

Soon the onion carriage drives off into the sunset as Spike and Rarity head on their honeymoon, living happily ever after (for now anyway).

Pinkie wearing shades is laughing madly as she said, "Man! That is so hilarious! You are so incredible, Pinkie! Oh boy. I can't breathe. I can't breathe."

Extra: The Karaoke Dance Party

The screen opens up to reveal Spike with a microphone. He speaks with a smile, "Hey, everybody, and welcome to the Spike-in-the-Swamp Karaoke Dance Party!" Spike hits the 'play' button as music plays. "I'll take things down a bit with one of my personal favorites..."

Then with a smile, Spike sings to his beloveable wife Rarity who is sitting on a bench nearby.

Spike: Don't go changin...
To try and please me...
You never let me down before...Mmmm...

The music change as Rarity sings while on the ground.

Rarity: I made it through the wilderness...

Ben Tennyson scratches a set of turntables.

You know I made it through...

Didn't know how lost I was until I found you...

Now the music changed as Lorcan, wearing shades, sings with Luna nearby dancing as she swings her tail.

Lorcan: Yeah! I like, big, BUTTS! and I can-not lie!
You udda bruddas can't de-ny!
When a pony walks in,
With an itty-bitty waist
And a big tail in your face, you get...

Luna without looking knocks Lorcan away with her tail. Now it’s Vlad’s turn to sing.

Vlad: Fee-lings...

The music changes as Boss Wolf and her wolf bandits take a turn.

Boss Wolf: It's fun to stay at the...

Wolves Y, M, C, A!

Boss Wolf: It's fun to stay at the...

Boss Wolf laughs as Bucky takes the mic next as the bugs hums along.

Bucky: Do you really wanna hurt me?
Ow!

(Bugs: Oh, oh, oh, oh)

Blueblood sings and panics while holding a flashlight from inside Lorcan's stomach as the dragon holds a microphone to his belly.

Lorcan: Stayin' alive! Stayin' alive!

(Bugs (and Blueblood muffled inside Lorcan’s stomach): Oh, oh, oh, oh!)

Another music change and Bowser sings now.

Bowser: Who let the dogs out?

Wilt, Eduardo and Coco (who only sings in 'Cocos'): Who? Who? Who, who?

Bowser: WHO let the dogs out?

Wilt, Eduardo and Coco: Who? Who? Who...

Eduardo: HOOO-hoo-hoo-hoo-hooey!

"Get down! And dance to the music!" Pinkie exclaims as the music changes one more time.

Bugs: Boom, boom…

Simpsons: Dum, dum...dum, dum, dum...

Soon many people, including Lorcan, Golden Heart, Pinkamena, Oliver Oreo and Luna begin to dance)

"Come on, everyone!" Pinkie exclaims eagerly.

Everyone: DAAANCE TO THE MUSIC!

"Oh yeah!" Pinkie laughs, getting into it.

DAAANCE TO THE MUSIC!!

Ben Tennyson: All we need is a drummer!

Grim: For people who only need a beat, yeah!

"Break it down, Rare!" Pinkie calls out to Rarity who takes a quick drum solo, "Vlad, my man!" Vlad sing as he held up Bucky.

Vlad: I'm gonna ask some bottoms...

Bucky: That all the dancers just won't hide!

"Take it, Spike!" Spike giggles. Spike plays an organ as he sings.

Spike: Ya might like to hear my organ...

Mane Five: I said-a RIIIDE, Sally, RIDE!!

Ben Tennyson scratches furiously. Spike and Rarity smiles as they sing to each other.

Rarity and Spike: I can't see me lovin' nobody but you, for all my life...

Everyone: DAAANCE TO THE MUSIC!

"Hey, Spike, you aren’t dancing yet, buddy!" Pinkie calls out to Spike, causing him to dance.

DAAANCE TO THE MUSIC!!

"Oh yeah," Golden Heart and Pinkamena exclaims while dancing.

DAAANCE TO THE MUSIC!

"That is how I like it!" Pinkie exclaims as the party is about to come to a close.

"Everyone now," Pinkie exclaims as the big finale is coming up.

Pinkie yelps as Pinkamena got too close to her and she yells out, "Hey, Pinkamena, watch those claws, will ya?"
