The Doctor marreid and with childern won't go and save the universe for nothing. He has settled and adjusted to his new life as a husband and father, but when a old flame calls for him from across the universe he have no choice but to go.

It has been almost fifteen years since I last set hoof in the TARDIS. I gave up adventuring when I asked Ms. Doo to be my wife and had our children, Amethyst Star and Dinky. Even though Ditzy and I have traveled through time and space together, there are still things I don't want her to know about me. When I got the message from an old flame, I couldn't resist to help. She was in dire straits and needed me. Oh, who am I you ask? It's simple I'm the Doctor and I'm here to help.

Prologue

A blue unicorn stared outside her window with the darkness of space and glistening of the stars and planets both above and below comforting her. She was a ambassador from a planet far away, spreading a message of peace and justice throughout the many different planets she visited.

"The planets are so beautiful. Each has a special somepony on it that is willing to take you away, show you new lands that you never thought existed." she said quietly to herself, pressing her left hoof against the window which protected her from the harsh conditions of space. She wished that it would crack and shatter so fall, fall into the endless abyss and be caught in his box.

Her doors slide open entering a orange earth pony with a plasma rife strapped to his back. "Madame Nightingale we near the planet and will be landing shortly."

Turning to face solider she notice the look of war in his face. A 'die in battle' sort of stallion who would rather be in a battle then have a family."Excellent." were the only word spoken before turning to face space itself.

With the leave of the stallion she began to think of how to approach the planet in which was engulfed in a deadly war. The planet was divided amongst itself, a faction which s were classified as 'Clingers' choose to cling to their traditions while the others or 'Moderates' wished to become modern with the ever changing universe. Both didn't know of her arrival, and from what the crew had told her they wouldn't take it well. Nightingale was so wrap up in her thoughts that she didn't understand why the vessel was trembling for a few seconds. The trembling became a violent jump which knocked her over and startled the alarm. Regaining her composer she looked to see three massive war cruisers inbound to her ship.

"Madame Nightingale the Clingers have fired upon us!" the orange earth pony returned a look of excitement on his face, "We believe they intend to board us! I've order the men to protect you at all cost." with it the stallion disappeared from sight as soon as she understood.

Ten minutes or so passed before a loud burst and the howling of the air vacuum was heard to only be shut off. Nightingale could hear the exchange of gun fire from the Clingers and the guards gaining closer and closer to her location. She knew that the guards would fail her, so she took it upon herself to teach herself how to survive if a situation like this ever occurred. Though she preached of how planets should remain peaceful during times of hardship, this was different they were already warring with themselves and now had the nerves to attack her ship.

As the battle progress further progressed closer and closer to her chambers Nightingale armed herself with a single pistol aimed at the door. With the explosion of her door rendering her blind for a short while, she regain sight to see ten heavily armed soldiers with tribal masks of different shades of color and size with all weapons drawn towards her.

"My my ten scary ponies blow open my chambers with their big scary guns pointed at me, and not a single one of you offer me a drink? How rude of you haven't you parents ever taught you to wine and dine with a classy mare before taking her against her will?" Stalling was the best option for distracting the Clingers keeping them thinking while she pulled her gun to fire.

The first shot was to scare them a bit which work, and as soon as they were startled she took off not looking back. Once around a corner she stopped to catch her breath listening she could her the stomping of hooves and shouting of one of the Clingers.

"Remember Madame Nightingale is important to our plans because if we get her then we'll have the key." with the sentence finishing they left their hoofsteps becoming softer and softer.

Once she decided that the scene was safe she came from around the corner pistol held in her purple magic. Trotting slowly she made her way back to her room hoping that she could send a message, a message that she knew would reach it destination in no time. Luckily for her there seem to be nopony in her chambers leaving her alone for however amount of time she had.

She barely finished her message her hoof over the button which would send it, but before the Clingers returned their mask looking at her. All she could do was smile as she walked toward them calmly. "Well now have you boys decided to take me out to dinner yet or you're still going with the savage approach?"

"He has decided that you are necessary to be kept alive which is the only reason why you're breathing." the pony with a largest tribal mask told me.

"Big talk for a pony who won't take off their silly mask, I've read so much about you and your race and I know that once you have a prisoner of war that it is required for you to take it off now please be a lamb and take that silly mask off."

Laughter roared from the ten ponies each shrilled at different pitches and tones. Once finished the large masked pony looked at me, "You sound as if you know all of our customs and laws, if you know so much about us then you know that you're not a prisoner, but a sacrifice to be!"

Nightingale stomach exploded as she realized the truth that she indeed intended to be what the Clingers wanted. "Now if you excuse me I believe you was about to send a message, but you seem to be out of mind so I'll send it for you, take her away."

"No! I'll do it, it's my message I should be the one to send it." she said regaining her thoughts. Pressing one hoof forward she looked back to see the tribes men staring back. "Oh you better come to my rescue or I swear that I'll kill you after I die" with that she pressed the button sending the message through time and space.

The Doctor's In

"Doctor if you can help me you must," that voice, always cutting off when it came to something important. "I know you can do it Doctor, I know you can. Go to-" again it will cut off. It was a females voice, middle age but from where? Oh it teased at him, the name coming but fading away in a instant. Always in his dreams, the voice would return and, in time, he began to ignore it, allowing him to rest easy at night.

Feeling a nudge, he moved a bit. "Go away," he mumbled.

Again he was nudged, this time with a soft voice with it. "Time Turner, wake up sleepy head."

Whoever, or whatever, was messing with him needed to stop, he was beginning to grow angry, cursing in every known language in his mind. He was tired as it was, and didn't want to wake up from his slumber, so raising a hoof, he swatted at whoever was doing this to him.

"Turner if you don't get up, you know who will eat your muffins," it said.

His ears perking up at the sounds of his favorite food he pieced together the voice. "You added extra butter Ditzy?" he asked.

Opening his eyes, he saw the most beautiful mare in Ponyville staring down at him, her smile shining as bright as the sun. Raising from the bed, he got up to go freshen himself, before putting his favorite red tie on. Struggling, and refusing to ask his wife for assistance, he ended with his tie having the narrow part larger than the widened part. Hearing his wife chuckling behind him he turned to her letting Ditzy fix his tie.

"Now that that’s done, time for breakfast!" he told her leaving the room. Making his way downstairs, he entered the kitchen to find his oldest daughter Amethyst Star already at the table, a book in her hooves, and a muffin at her side. "Morning Amy,” hearing no reply, he forced his hoof upon the book, looking at her. "I said good morning Amy."

Rolling her eyes, she looked at him, and, giving a forced smile, gritted through her teeth "Good morning papa." she replied to him. Using her magic, she lifted her fathers hoof to continue her reading.

"Children these days," he said to himself, preparing his muffins. "You say no to them going out on a date, and they get furious," The Doctor, with his many lives, saw the rage of a mare, but none could compare to his daughter. He said no to one date, it wasn't like he meant all other dates, or did he?

Closing her book, Amy rose from her seat, placing the book in her saddlebag, before heading to the front door. "I'm going to Bon Bon house to hangout with her and Lyra. I'll be back later"

"Well, I'm sorry, but you're not. You have work to do, and besides you know what happens when you hang out with them,” The Doctor countered.

In disbelief Amy went into a rage. "Well maybe if you stopped treating me like a filly, I maybe wouldn't be doing all this stuff! You always go on about how time is always moving forward, yet when it comes to me you want to halt it. Are you scared of me growing up?!"

Walking to the door, she was stopped by what he told her. "Amy, I know you're still mad, but know that I love you," Looking at him with hardened eyes, she walked out, leaving him alone in the kitchen.

"Papa, are you ok?" a small voice asked.

Looking down, he saw that it was Dinky, looking at him with her amber eyes staring back at him. She looked like her mother, same eyes, coat, and mane. Only difference was that Dinky was highly advance in mathematics, maybe due to his years of traveling the universe and its vast knowledge. "Yes, I'm alright," he said, picking her up and setting her on the table. "Now, will you mind if you help me prepare my muffin?"

A squeal of excitement came from the filly, as she levitated a knife towards her, while her father got his toast. The fun they shared was magical to The Doctor, and knowing this was all the reason why he decided to stay. Raising a family was the most fun he had ever had in his nine hundred and eighteen years of life.

Walking down, Ditzy saw her husband and youngest daughter enjoying each others company, and couldn't help but let a laugh escape her. With them noticing, she excused herself outside to water her garden, and, spreading her wings, she flew upwards to the top of their house. Gathering her material, she saw a group of ponies with masks on walking towards their house, spears in hands, and guns on back, they forced everypony out their way.

"Turner!" she yelled, running into the house. Looking at her, The Doctor had a confused look on his face. "There’re ponies with large mask and guns and we need to-."

"Ditzy how far are they?" the Doctor asked, looking at their window. "Judging by your look, not to far. Ditzy, get Dinky and run."

"Run, where to?" Ditzy asked her husband.

"Really, years of being with me, and you ask me where? The T.A.R.D.I.S, of course! if you have the key, then it should be easy to call it!" with a nod, she grabbed their child, fleeing behind him.

Once she left, the doors and walls blasted open, with the masked ponies gathering in, guns and spears pointed at him. "Where’s the Doctor?" one asked.

Looking at them with a look he hadn't given in years, he looked at them, eyes of boldness. Bowing, he looked up at them. "The Doctor is in," he said to them, smiling.
