Peace at last
Zelda sat bored with his head in his hooves. Staring into the abyss of the Kings chambers. It was a bright beautiful day but the sense of boredom still wrapped itself around Link who had no quests or adventures to go on. He just continuously stares at the marble floor in the red walled room. where as the king sits stands happily at his balcony with a goblet in his aura drinking the wine gracefully admiring his now peaceful kingdom. That he had Link to thank for, if not for him his kingdom would be ruled by evil and his people would be slaves.
"Gee it sure is boring around here" Exclaims Link breaking into a stretch and yawn. Link was a yellow Unicorn with blonde hair with elves green eyes. However his hair did confuse people mistaking him for a mare. Which ended up in a few awkward situations.
The King listens to his comment disappointed at it and he should know better than this. "My boy, Peace is what every great warrior strives for" In his rustic grouchy voice one enemies have come to fear and people to adore. His ginger beard on his orange coat glistens with royalty.
Just as the king is about to give his lecture on the ways of the warrior again a slight gust of wind catches his ears making him flick. Link picks up on the sudden change and gets up on all fours wondering what this was. The king just merely smiles at him amused at the alert reflexes Link has. The king knows exactly what is coming a very old friend has come to visit.
A sudden flash of red catches Links mane missing him by inches. setting the startled unicorn to read for some kind of weapon in his case a silver plate.
The red flash slows down to reveal itself as a very old looking unicorn sitting upon what seems to be a flying carpet? The unicorn seems old with a long grey beard and wrinkled and weak forehooves placed together as if meditating. He wears a blue robe and an orange turban of foreign lands.
The unicorn on a carpet sets down on the kings balcony still hovering and in meditating stance. "Greetings your majesty I bring bad news to my visit to you today my lord" The Unicorn speaks with an old but wise tone to complete the look.
"What is it Gwonam? What brings the mighty wizard of Koridia?" The king seems worried at the words of the wizard Gwonam. For it is a feat to make the wizard himself come to the king than him being cooped up in his tree library.
"Ganon and his minions have seized control of the island Koridia!" The wizards words hold the air for a few seconds as the information sinks into the kings head. a moment passes before he responds.
"Hmm what can we do to help?" he simply asks.
"There is a prophecy that only link can defeat Ganon and his army" The wizard quickly conjures up a scroll with ancient language on it to prove his point.
Link picks up on the conversation with a wide grin growing. Finally something to do! He thinks to himself.
"Great Ill go grab my stuff!" As Link bounds towards the door the wizard interrupts.
"There is no time! Your sword will do!" Link stops in his tracks and just as he turns around Princess Zelda appears in the door link was about to trot through.
The Princess who is a Allercorn with long blonde hair similar to Links and a white coat with blue eyes. She stands there with curiosity her long blue dress flittering in the wind.
"What is going on Farther?" she asks in her soft voice, melting Links heart.
"Link is going to Koridia to defeat Gonans forces and save Koridai!" The kings bellows with joy.
Here we go again Th Princess thinks to herself.
"How about a kiss, for luck?" Link winks at the princess with his cheek expecting his parting gift.
"You have got to be kidding me" The princess facehoofs.
Link and Gwonam are sat on the flying carpet going at speed towards Koridia. Link never thought that these speeds could be possible nor the fact that it is so cold in the air. He sits there shivering even though the wizard next to him is just smiling controlling the carpet.
"And there it is" Gwonam pointing his hoof at the splitting of the clouds.
The island is revealed under its blanket of fog mountains spring up each a barrier to the multiple terrains that make this island unique. There was volcanic to forest settings. However each peak seemed to has a demon like face set into it. This made link very curious.
"What are all those head?" Links curiosity getting the better of him.
Those are the Faces of evil" The wizard replies "You will have to defeat each one in order to defeat Ganon." The Wizard the produces a scroll opening it to reveal a map of Koridia "Where would you like to start?".
The lair
Link climbed the final mountain the one mountain he had been looking for his whole quest. Now the time had came to defeat Ganon and save the Princess. Hate swelled inside him but he would have to save that for his fight with Ganon. In no depths would he let harm come to his love.
He climbed the hot red stone that just kept going and going fighting off the demons that attempted to knock him off every so often. However he just kept going until he reached his destination. He places his hooves on the brimstone that lead straight into a fiery gate. The gate itself red with volcanic activity and gargoyles stood either side lava oozing out of their mouths. But this did not deter Link at all, in fact it was just a thrill of the quest. He draws his sword and walks towards the gate.
Entering the gate he finds it to be pitch black. So Link brings out his lantern only to be shocked as a green flying demon comes screeching towards him.
CAAAAAAAA!
Link quick on his hooves dodges to the side only to bring his sword down upon the demon as it passes him. Instantly bursting into flame but just as he turns around and looks up the horror sets in. Right before him is just a wall covered in those tiny green demons all asleep. Whatever noise he just made is bound to disturb them. Link stands as still as possible only hearing the natural noises around him which there is none. Now how am I supposed to get out of this one? he thinks.
With no other way he decides to move very slowly and quietly. Dimming the light of the lantern not to disturb the possible nightmare of the wall waking. he slowly sheaths his sword and makes his way around the cave looking for a door but of course its not a door, but a hole.
A hole that is in the ceiling. This just makes things harder for him as he has to reach the entrance but at the same time don't wake the wall. Then a stroke of genius hits him as he remembers the rope he bought a while back. Searching in his saddlebag (quietly) he brings out the rope and ties the lantern to it.
He only has one chance of doing this if he misses he is sure to wake the demons sleeping. Slowly he swings the rope round and round giving it enough energy to sling it upwards. Moment of truth he slings it towards the hole as it clears through and the sound of the lantern landing knocks relief in Links mind.
He tugs on the rope to make sure its secure and wraps himself around slowly climbing not to make as much noise. Eventually he reaches the top and climbs his way into the hole. Only for a large metal hoof to stop him right in his tracks as the metal armoured pony stands before him. His red slits and blue armour stare down at link.
"So we meet again pathetic pony" Miltron speaks in his deep metallic tone.
Link is surprised at the sight of him I thought I had defeated him!. Miltron simply raises his sword to strike at link as he hangs on the edge of the hole. Link thinks fast and leaps into the air pushing his forehooves with all his might. Miltrons blade just hitting where Link once was but while in mid air Link punches the helmet of Miltron knocking him back.
Link lands now safely in the next chasm. Drawing his sword and running at Miltron knocking his helmet clean off. Exposing the old, feeble fake man inside.
"You cannot stop me! haha!" Miltron bellows. Pushing link back with both of his hooves. Link stumbles and rolls from the force but has a huge grin on his face.
"Why do you smile? Are you glad of death?" The armoured Pony questions.
"No" Link smirks "But are you glad of being naked again?" Miltron looks confused until he smells gunpowder coming from his armour. What Link had done while the chance was plant a bomb inside the armour while Miltron was dazed. The Pony before link starts to run around panicked "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!" The desperate pleas just makes Link snigger, knowing what is to come next.
The Bomb explodes sending metal shrapnel all over the cave, making link dive for cover. But just as Link reappears from the rock he took cover with. Load an behold is the bare skin old pony just standing there with blast marks all over him.
"NOT THIS AGAIN! " The Once powerful Miltron runs off with his bare flank finally making Link burst into laughter.
Laughing over Link carries on in his search for his final enemy.
Link finds what appears to be a pipe at the end of the room. For a keep this is a lot of effort to get in and out if you live here Link muses to himself. He keeps going ducking every so often as the ceiling gets lower so often. Its only when Link sees the end with a purple haze around it does he climb down and looks around.
The walls are all metal with all sorts of engravings on them. A great purple fire at one end of the room literally a wall itself. Steps lead down to a lower level where link spots the dark figure he has came to defeat.
Gonan
Ganon
"MUHAHAHAA Link we meet at last! I have been quite excited to meet you, the one who has defeated all my disciples" Ganon speaks out shrouded in his red aura with a black cape. He has the form of a diamond dog with yellow eyes and huge saber teeth coming from his jaws a nightmare to look at for anyone to cross his path.
Link continues down the stairs taking careful steps each time in case of Gonan attacking.
Link can feel the heat form the wall of fire and the stench of death lingers in this mad mans domain. However what he feels overwhelms all that now he has conjured his anger at what he has done to his beloved.
"Where is she Gonan?!" Link shouts at the hound.
"Oh all in due time my friend," He says coolly "Your Princess is quite safe but I have a proposition to you link". He turns with his aura following him walking towards Link.
Link Freezes partway up the steps that twist. The dark dog simple walks up to hum leaning down to his eyes, as if staring right at his soul. "Here is what I have for you; If you join me you will become one of the greatest warriors in all of Koridia! You will even be the greatest face of evil" He smiles at Link but Link hold his ground showing no reaction to all of this.
"And what of Zelda huh?" Link mutters testing the Dark Lord.
"Oh she will be quite safe with me little pony, She will stay locked here for all eternity! Muhahahahaaa!" Gonan lifts up to deliver is monsturous laugh only to give Link a headache. This guy seriously takes thing way too far Link now irritated at this thing simply asks "and what if I refuse?".
"Then you will die AND SO SHALL SHE!" he shouts.
"Well then..." Link sets down his bag and lifts out the book of Koridia unknowing to Ganon "I'm afraid I decline, if your going to do that to the princess"
"Then die!" Ganon makes his move but Link already has his ace set and ready. Link Using his horn lifts the book and throws it at Ganon. Ganon flinches at the sight of the book and try's to run away instead of charge at link. His look of evil turns to one of fear as the book opens and a green aura shoots out grabbing the dog by his tail.
"Wait not the pit! It burns!" He yelps but the book just drags him and sucks him inside slamming shut.
Link just stands there please with himself as the book sits itself in the middle o the room calm once more from the violent action.
Link the proceeds to Find the Princess looking for a door or something to look for Ganons personal prison eventually he finds a hatch in the wall and proceeds to open it breaking the lock with his sword. He climbs in and sees the Princess sound asleep Link trots to her and attempts to wake her nudging her.
"Wakey Wakey sleepy" He coos to her but no response.
Link then try's to shake her but to no avail. Then something behind the Princess catches his eye 100% worth it he amuse to himself. Behind the princess hanging is a giant symbol the irony and mischief overwhelms link as he simple takes the stick and smacks it into the symbol with all his strength.
BONGCRASH!
The princess then shoots up scared half to death at what just woke her. She then spots link and just knows exactly what he has done.
"I just saved you from Gonan!" Link says with pride.
"No you didn't, Ive been asleep all this time" she states flatly. A sudden white flash then distracts them as they are both teleported onto Gwonams carpet. The sudden shock scares both of them not just mental but physical form a hot dungeon to cold skies.
"You sis it Link you saved Koridia and defeated Ganon!" The old wizard embraces them both in a huddle "you are now the hero of koridia!". Still shocked at the sudden change in scenery the princess seems terrified. Link has other ideas though.
"I guess that deserves a kiss huh?" He smiles creeply.
"Hmmmmm" The princess states.
