"Scootaloo! Come downstairs!" yells Rainbow Dash, giving a groan I fall (yes I fell) out of bed. Walking to the bathroom, I brush my semi-flat mane out and half-walk, half-tumble downstairs. Soarin greets me with a smile which I return with a yawn. Walking into the kitchen, I find RD putting some lettuce on the table. "There you are, I thought you died. You should have set your alarm." says Rainbow Dash. I sit down at the table and start eating my share of lettuce.

"The stunt show isn't for another three hours." I mumble, Rainbow gives a snort and starts munching on her own lettuce.

"Yeah, but don't you want to go hang out with Rumble?" she asks, I freeze in place and anger starts to build up in me.

"Why would I want to hang out with him?" I snarl, Rainbow looks at me with big eyes. Giving a groan, I push me plate away and throw (not literally) my head on the table. "Rumble said that he couldn't come to my stunt show." I mumble. Rainbow gasps and I can hear her pacing around the room.

"How DARE he! You guys were talking about this for MONTHS!" she screams. Soarin walks in the room and looks at Rainbow with curiosity.

"Um...did I walk in on something?" he asks. Rainbow relays the message to Soarin and he shrugs. "Maybe he has something else to do." he says. I look at him with shock. Standing up, I let out an angry sigh and stare daggers at Soarin.

"Yeah, maybe he is going to another mares most important event of their lives!' I scream, I stomp out of the house and take flight into the afternoon sky. I flap my wings until I am going faster than my scooter could ever carry me. Zooming higher into the sky, I look around for something to take my mind off of Rumble (GRRRR). My eagle eyes see Apple Bloom bucking trees in Sweet Apple Acres, letting out a sigh of relief I fly down. Sitting down beside her, I see that she is struggling with the tree.

"Oh, howdy Scoots." she says breathless. I chuckle and go to the other side of the tree and buck. It shakes the leaves and one apple falls.

"Hey there Apple Bloom." I say in greeting. She bucks on the other side of the tree and another apple falls.

"Aren't you suppose to be training for the stunt show today?" she asks, I shrug and give another buck.

"I have been training for that thing for months...I think I am ready. Are you coming?" I ask, she gives a buck and looks at the ground guiltily.

"Applejack and I have to sell apples at the market today..." she says, I give a sigh and buck the final apple off the tree. Putting the apples into a huge wagon that was already filled, I pull the harness on.

"It isn't a big deal." I mumble. Apple Bloom smiles and pats my back. We begin walking back to the barn when I see Big Mac and Fluttershy laughing about something. "Looks like they are going to get married someday." I say teasingly. Apple Bloom looks at her brother longingly.

"Yeah...looks like it." she sighs. I give a laugh and bhp her out of her trance. We arrive at the barn and Applejack is pilling another wagon full of wood and stuff.

"Howdy Scootaloo, I know that you're going to win that blue ribbon at the stunt show!" Applejack says. I say goodbye to Apple Bloom and head over to Sugarcube Corner. As I walk in, I see that Pumpkin Cake is working the counter. She is using her magic to clean the counter with a rag. Walking up to her I put a bit on the counter.

"Well hey there Scootaloo, mana, Pound is going to be out of the water when he hears that you're hear." she says. I give a half-asked laugh and order a shake. She nods and levitates a vanilla shake in front of me. I begin to enjoy my cold snack when I hear a laugh. Who do you think it is...yep you guessed it. Diamond Tiara.

"Hello Blank Flank, are you sad that Rumble isn't coming to your show? I can't blame him, why have a cutie mark less pony like you when he can have a stylish and brilliant mare like me." she says, Silver Spoon sticks her tongue out at me.

"At least I don't have my head pushed so far up my butt that I can't see it anymore." I say, she gives a wicked smirk and grabs my shake out of my hooves.

"Shouldn't you be heading over to the arena? I hear that it is going to be a wonderful show; I also know that it is going to go out with a BANG." she says, I give a smile and grab my shake back. Leaning against the counter I stare at the to of them.

"What do you want?" I ask, Diamond giggles and stands up.

"Oh, I was just telling you that Rumble wasn't coming to your show because he is spending the day with...ME!" she says, I freeze and puts the shake on the counter. I stare daggers at her and wind my muscles up to tackle her...but then something clicks in my head. She was just pulling my strings. Giving a chuckle I push my shake over to her and stand up.

"Well I am happy that you are getting to know him. Tell him that I say hi." I say, I walk out of Sugarcube Corner and look at the sun. Estimating that I had about another hour till the show started I began to trot to the arena.

I trot down Main Street and stare at the sky, the weather team had cleared all of the clouds so the sun was really taking its toll on Ponyville. All of a sudden, I smack into some pony and fall on the ground. Looking around, I see that I had bumped into Pound Cake who has jumping around trying to gather up his scattered items.

"I am so sorry Pound, I wasn't watching where I was going." I apologize. Helping him get his items I walk next to him. "Where are you going with all of this stuff?"

"Mom and Dad said that I could set up a stand at the arena. So now I can see the amazing stunts you're doing while earning my parents some extra bits." he says excitedly. I smile and help him set up his stand.

"Well, at least you made time for me today." I say, me wraps his wing around my shoulders and I look at him shocked.

"I would always make time for you." he says, I smile coyly and step out of his grasp.

"I got to go get ready." I lie, he smiles and waves me goodbye. I trot into the arena and see RD and Soarin gesturing for me to come over.

"Hey Scoots, you ready?" asks Rainbow. I nod my head. She hands me my number, 15, and I go to the lobby for the stunt flyers. Looking around, I don't see any pony I recognize so I sit near the back and wait for my number to be called. One by one the ponies go out, till finally I am the only one left. Taking a deep breath and walk out into the arena.

Everypony looks at me expectantly, I scan the crowd and see a few familiar faces. Looking at the course I see that only wispy clouds and a few puffy cods are left. Giving a chuckle I fly to the highest one. I angle my wings forward and jump on to the first wispy cloud, my hooves grind against it while my wings are helping me stay balanced. Jumping off of the cloud I do a backflip and land on the next one. The wispy cloud bends around on my weight and I balance on one leg going down it. Pushing off of the cloud I bounce off of a puffy cloud and put my wings around me so I look like a missile. Spinning around, I aim for a small circle. Closer the circle came until my whole body slid through it. Once I was on the other side I spread my wings out to create and air brake, I stop and pause for a few seconds then push my wings forward. Doing a backwards arch, I use my wings to gather up all of the clouds. Then, a familiar baby pink mane catches my eyes and I see Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon loading up a cannon with popcorn. As I fly around collecting the clouds I create a thick blanket and keep an eye on them. They pushed the launch button but I was to fast, using the cloud blanket I grabbed all of the popcorn and turned the blanket into a ball. Pushing the ball the the middle of the stadium, I shoot up high in the sky and start falling with my hooves out in front of me. Faster, and faster I flew towards the sphere till I broke through the thick seal and popcorn flew everywhere. I push my wings out and brake my fall till my hooves lay softly on the arena floor. I look around and see that popcorn is falling all of the crowd where ponies are eating it. I smile and see Rainbow Dash smiling at me while Soarin is pointing at my flank. Craning my neck, I look over and see that a purple and orange butterfly was on my flank. Tears come to my eyes and I let out a sob of happiness. Finally! After so many years I finally found my purpose in the world...to be a stunt flyer! I bolt up to RD and Soarin and pull them into a huge hug.

"Told you you would do great." whispers Rainbow. I laugh and grab a couple piece of popcorn out of the air.
